The light guide plate 300 is disposed above the circuit board 500 and disposed on the same layer as the light source 200, and specifically, the light guide plate 300 includes a light incident side 301 and a light emergent side 302. The surface of the light guide plate 300 near the light source 200 is a light incident side 301, and the surface of the light guide plate 300 far from the circuit board 500 is a light emitting side 302, wherein the light incident side 301 and the light emitting side 302 are perpendicular to each other. Light emitted from the light source 200 enters the light guide plate 300 through the light incident side 301 and exits from the light exit side 302 of the light guide plate 300 by refraction.

Because the lamp glue between the light guide plate 300 and the circuit board 500 is removed, the distance between the circuit board 500 and the light emitting side 302 of the light guide plate 300 is reduced, and the technical effect of thinning the backlight module 10 can be realized by selecting small-size LED lamp beads (point light sources).
In order to reduce the adverse effect of the adhesive layer 400 on the light-emitting efficiency of the backlight module 10, in this embodiment, the adhesive layer 400 is made of a transparent material, in other preferred embodiments of the present invention, the adhesive layer 300 is an optically transparent adhesive, the adhesive layer 400 is mainly disposed in the first gap H1 and the second gap H2 corresponding to the first gap, and the cross section of the adhesive layer 400 is gradually reduced, wherein the cross section of the adhesive layer 400 tightly attached to the light-incident side 301 is the minimum value, so as to ensure that the light directly emitted from each point light source 201 to the light-incident side 301 is not subjected to refraction loss, thereby maximally reducing the influence of the adhesive layer 400 on the light-emitting efficiency of the light.
