Comparative example 1
An HDPE steel tape-reinforced helical bellows was prepared according to the method of example 1, except that no ethylene propylene diene monomer was added in step (1).
The HDPE steel strip reinforced helical bellows products prepared in example 1 and comparative example 1 were tested for stiffness and ring stiffness according to GB/T19472.1-2004. The result shows that the HDPE steel strip reinforced spiral corrugated pipe product has better rigidity and ring rigidity.
