Description

Holding device for door and window handles
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a holding device for a door handle according to the preamble of claim 1, which can be mounted on a receiving opening of a sash frame, a door leaf or the like.
Background
Many different universal holding devices are known in the prior art for the above-mentioned door handles, sash frames, door leaves or the like.
When the doorknob is installed using the lower tray covered with the cover tray, it is generally screwed to the door leaf, the sash frame, or the like. The door handle itself is fixed by a bearing flange, on which the neck of the door handle can be fitted and fixed, for example by means of screws perpendicular to the pivoting direction of the door handle. The bearing flange is rotatably mounted in a flange receptacle of the lower cup.
A disadvantage of the retaining devices known from the prior art is that due to the circumferential forces acting on the door or window handle during rotation, the screw connection may loosen over time, in particular in the case of non-metallic door leaves, sash frames, etc., for example made of wood or plastic.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the invention is to improve a holding device for a door or window handle such that the fastening of the lower shell disk to a door leaf, window leaf frame or the like which is not metallic (for example made of wood or plastic) is also improved.
This object is achieved by a retaining device having the features of claim 1.
The holding device according to the invention for a door handle can be mounted in a receptacle for a door leaf, a door leaf or the like, with a lower covering tray having a contact surface for contacting the visible side of the door leaf, the door leaf frame or the like. The retaining device also has a bearing flange mounted in the flange receptacle so as to be rotatable perpendicular to the bearing surface, on which bearing flange the door handle can be fixed.
The lower shell disk has screw receptacles for receiving screws, by means of which the lower shell disk can be fastened to a sash frame, a door leaf or the like.
The bearing flange has a first neck for non-rotatably securing the door handle and a second neck rotatably mounted in the flange receptacle.
Furthermore, a knob protrudes from the contact surface, which knob serves for the prepositioning and rotational fixing of the lower hood relative to a sash frame, a door leaf or the like.
With a holding device designed in this way, the rotational fixing of the lower shell disk, which is already fixed by screws, is further strengthened by the rotary knob, so that, when the door handle is operated, the forces acting on the lower shell disk and the sash frame, the door leaf or the like when the door handle is rotated achieve a better distribution.
Especially for door leaves, sash frames or the like made of a softer material, such as wood or plastic or even aluminium, this makes it possible to permanently fix the lower housing tray with screws.
Furthermore, the knob can also easily pre-position the lower tray when it is mounted on a sash frame, door leaf or the like.
With a retaining device designed in this way, the predetermined rotational position of the door handle can be determined tactually and/or acoustically by the bearing flange engaging with respect to the lower cover.
The two predetermined rotational positions are preferably an open position and a closed position of the door handle.
Advantageous embodiment variants of the invention are the subject matter of the dependent claims.
According to an advantageous embodiment variant, the knob is integrally formed on the contact surface of the lower disk. This provides an easy to install and inexpensive lower cover.
According to a further development of the invention, the lower disk and the bearing flange can be locked together in at least two predetermined rotational positions.
According to a preferred embodiment variant, at least one spring seat in which the spring element is accommodated is formed in the lower housing disc, in which flange receptacle a latching body receptacle is formed in which the latching body is accommodated, which in the locked rotational position projects into a latching groove formed in the jacket surface of the second neck of the bearing flange.
Such a spring element and latch body can be easily mounted in the lower housing disc and can be manufactured at low cost.
In addition, the predetermined closed or open position may also be detected tactilely or audibly.
According to an advantageous development, the spring element is designed as a compression spring, the first end of which is supported on the inner surface of the circumferential collar of the lower cup and is radially aligned in the direction of the second neck. The other end of the compression spring bears against the latch body, pressing it against the bearing flange.
The latching body is preferably designed as a rolling body, in particular as a ball.
According to a further preferred embodiment variant, two spring seats are formed in the lower cover, which are arranged offset by 180 ° with respect to one another and comprise spring elements accommodated therein, and a latch body receptacle is formed in the lower cover, which is formed in the flange receptacle and has a latch body accommodated therein. Four latching grooves (34) are formed integrally in parallel with each other in the second neck portion of the bearing flange.
This further improves the latching effect.
According to a further embodiment variant, the parallel latching grooves in the second neck of the bearing flange are designed with equal angular distances. This may, for example, allow the door and window handles to be locked to each other at 90 ° intervals from each other.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, an annular groove is formed in the end of the second neck remote from the first neck, in which annular groove a securing ring for axially securing the retaining device is accommodated. This ensures that the retaining device can be axially fixed to the sash frame, door leaf or the like before the rotational drive of the door handle is transmitted to the insertion of the polygon on the door or window lock.
Drawings
In the following, embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail using the accompanying drawings, in which:
figure 1 shows an isometric view of a variant of embodiment of the holding device according to the invention,
figure 2 shows another isometric view of the holding device of figure 1 from a different angle,
fig. 3 shows an isometric exploded view of the holding device.
Detailed Description
In the following description of the drawings, terms such as top, bottom, left, right, front, rear, etc. relate only to illustrations and positions selected by way of example in the respective drawings of the holding device, lower housing disc, bearing flange, neck, flange receptacle, spring element, latch body, etc. These terms should not be construed as limiting, i.e., these references may vary due to various operating positions or mirror symmetric designs, etc.
In fig. 1, reference numeral 2 denotes a lower shroud panel according to a modification of the embodiment of the holding device for a door handle.
Reference numeral 3 denotes a bearing flange which is mounted rotatably perpendicularly to the contact surface 21 in a flange receptacle 25, by means of which flange receptacle 25 the lower covering disk 2 abuts in the mounted state against the visible side of a sash frame, door leaf or the like.
The bearing flange 3 is used to fix a door handle (not shown). For this purpose, the bearing flange 3 has a first neck 31 which can be inserted into a recess in the neck of the door handle.
The screw receptacles 32 provided on the outer surface of the first neck 31 serve for receiving screws which can be inserted into holes in the jacket surface of the door handle neck, so that on the one hand the door handle can be fixed to the bearing flange 3 and on the other hand the axial fixing of the bearing flange 3 is achieved by means of a polygon (not shown) which is received in a polygon receptacle 36 of the bearing flange 3.
The door handle is fixed in a rotationally fixed manner on the bearing flange 3 by the shape of the jacket surface of the first neck 31, which first neck 31 is also designed as a polygon in the example shown here.
The second neck 33 extends axially from the first neck 31 along the axis of rotation a of the bearing flange 3, forming a step which is inserted into the flange receptacle 25 of the lower cup 2 during assembly.
The axial length of this second neck 33 is slightly greater than the axial length of the flanged receptacle 25 of the lower disk 2, so that, when inserted, the front end of the second neck 33 remote from the first neck 31 projects from the flanged receptacle 25.
According to a preferred embodiment variant, an annular groove 35 is formed at this front end, in which annular groove 35 a securing ring 7 is accommodated for axially securing the bearing flange 3 to the lower disk 2.
When assembled, the securing ring 7 projects radially beyond the neck 23, which neck 23 projects from the contact surface 21 of the lower cup 2 at one edge of the polygonal receptacle 36. On the side of the lower disk 2 opposite the contact surface 21, the large-diameter end face of the first neck 31 abuts against the lower disk 2.
Furthermore, as shown in fig. 1 to 3, the lower shell disk 2 has screw insertion holes 24 for receiving the screws 4, and the lower shell disk 2 can be fixed to a sash frame, a door leaf, or the like through the screw insertion holes 24.
In order to additionally fix the lower housing tray 2 in rotation on a sash frame, a door leaf or the like, preferably a cylindrical knob 22 protrudes from the contact surface 21 of the lower housing tray 2 for the prepositioning and rotational fixing of the lower housing tray 2 relative to the sash frame, the door leaf or the like.
The lower disk 2 and the bearing flange 3 can be locked together in at least two predetermined rotational positions. For this purpose, as shown in particular in fig. 3, at least one spring seat 27 is formed in the lower housing disc 2, in which the spring element 5 is accommodated, and a latching body receptacle 26, in which a latching body 6 (here spherical) is accommodated, is formed in the flange receptacle 25, which latching body 6 projects in the locked rotational position into a latching groove 34, which latching groove 34 is formed integrally on a further cylindrical jacket-like jacket surface of the second neck 33 of the bearing flange 3.
In the preferred embodiment variant shown here, two such spring seats 27 and latch body receptacles 26 are provided in the flange receptacle 25, each with two spring elements 5 and two latch bodies 6.
Spring seat 27 and latch body receptacle 26 are preferably arranged 180 ° offset from one another. Thus, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, in the rotational position of the bearing flange 3 relative to the lower housing disk 2, the spring element 5, which is designed here as a helical compression spring 5, is in its maximum relaxed position, since in this position the latching bodies 6, which are designed as balls, are in the respective latching grooves 34 of the bearing flange 3.
If the door and window handle is actuated, i.e. if the lower housing disc 2 is non-rotatably fixed to the door or window frame if the bearing flange 3 is rotated about the rotation axis a relative to the lower housing disc 2, the latch body 6 is pressed radially outwards under the prestress of the spring element 5 by the rotational movement of the bearing flange 3.
The latching body then rolls on the circular-section-shaped clamping sleeve part of the second neck 33 until a rotational position is reached, in which the latching body 6 enters the next latching groove 34 and is pressed radially inward into this recess under the force of the spring element 5.
This engagement is detectable tactilely and, if necessary, acoustically, and makes it easier for the user to adjust the predetermined rotational position of the door and window handle.
In the embodiment variant shown here, the spring element 5 is designed as a compression spring, the first end of which is supported on the inner surface of the circumferential collar 29 of the lower housing disc 2. A spring element 5 extending in the radial direction is accommodated in the lower housing disc 2.
As further shown in fig. 2 and 3, to maintain radial alignment of the spring elements 5, a net-like retainer 28 is molded onto the body of the lower housing disc 2, the retainer 28 having a hole into which the spring elements 5 are inserted, thus preventing shearing movement of the spring elements 5.
The second end of the spring element 5 preferably rests directly on the latch body 6 and presses it radially inwards towards the second neck 33 of the bearing flange 3.
The latching groove 34 extends in the axial direction to the axis of rotation a of the bearing flange 3 and thus enables the second neck 33 of the bearing flange 3 to be inserted into the flange receptacle 25 of the lower housing disc 2.
In the embodiment variant shown here, a total of four such latching grooves 34 are formed, which are arranged here at equal angular distances from one another and thus give the two latching positions of the door handle an angular distance of 90 °. It is also contemplated that six such latch slots 34 may be provided, for example, to define additional latching positions.
It is also contemplated that adjacent latch grooves 34 are formed at an angular distance of less than 90 ° from each other.
