Based on the hardware structure of the LED lamp control device, the invention provides various embodiments of the LED lamp control method.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a schematic flow chart of a first embodiment of the LED lamp control method of the present invention.
In this embodiment, the LED lamp control method includes:
step S10: acquiring display data of a current frame and display data of a next frame;
optionally, the data decoding module decodes the input data input to the LED lamp to obtain the display data of the current frame and the display data of the next frame of the LED lamp. Specifically, the display data is gray scale data reflecting the brightness change of the LED lamp. Optionally, in a specific embodiment, the gray scale data includes information reflecting the brightness of the LED lamp, such as a time width occupied by a pulse adjustment period of the pulse modulation signal to be generated and a time width occupied by the LED on level.
Alternatively, the acquired display data may be display data of low gray scale, or display data at other gray scale levels.
Alternatively, in one embodiment, the input data is 256-level gray scale data, so that the LED lamp can display 16 million colors, which is 166777216 colors by controlling the values of R, G, B three primary colors of the LED lamp.
Optionally, in a specific embodiment, in order to reduce noise and improve stability and noise immunity for better display effect, the acquired input data is subjected to 65536 level gamma correction. Specifically, the acquired 256-level gray data is corrected to 65536-level gray data by a gamma correction formula or by looking up a gamma comparison table corresponding to the 256-level gray data and 65536.
65536-level gray data is obtained by correcting the 256-level gray data, so that the LED lamp has a better display effect and can adapt to more application scenes.
Step S20: calculating to obtain display data of a transition frame according to the display data of the current frame and the display data of the next frame;
optionally, the obtained display data of the current frame and the next frame of the LED lamp are cached in a memory, and an average value of the display data of the current frame and the display data of the next frame of the LED lamp is obtained through calculation.
Optionally, the obtained average value of the display data of the current frame and the display data of the next frame of the LED lamp is marked as the display data of the transition frame. Specifically, the gray data of the transition frame is different from both the gray data of the current frame and the gray data of the next frame. And the gray data of the transition frame is between the gray data of the current frame and the next frame. The brightness of the transition frame when displayed is also between the display brightness of the current frame and the display brightness of the next frame.
Optionally, in a specific embodiment, after the display data of the transition frame is obtained, the display data of the transition frame is buffered.
Step S30: and displaying the display data of the transition frame, wherein the display data of the transition frame is displayed before the display data of the next frame.
Specifically, the PWM output module (i.e., the pulse width modulation output module) is controlled to encode, and generate a PWM signal. The PWM signal carries a driving instruction for displaying the display data of the transition frame at the frame changing moment after the display of the current frame is finished, and displaying the display data of the next frame after the display of the display data of the transition frame is finished.
Specifically, the human eye considers that the picture is continuous and uninterrupted because of the time delay of the human eye perception, for example, for 36 frames displayed pictures, that is, 36 pictures displayed continuously per second. Therefore, in a specific embodiment, the pulse width modulation module is controlled to set the corresponding duty ratio to control the LED lamp to display, so as to achieve the purpose of controlling the brightness perceived by human eyes, so that the LED lamp displays the display data of the transition frame at the frame change time after the current frame is displayed, specifically, the display data of the transition frame is an average value of the display data of the current frame and the display data of the next frame, and the display data of the next frame is displayed after the display data of the transition frame is displayed.
And the PWM output module transmits the coded corresponding PWM signal to the LED lamp and controls the LED lamp to display according to an operation instruction carried by the PWM signal. Specifically, in a specific embodiment, after receiving the PWM signal, the LED lamp displays the PWM signal according to a display rule of "displaying a current frame, displaying a transition frame, and then displaying a next frame". The obtained transition frame is the average value of the display data of the current frame and the next frame, so that the display effect from the current frame to the transition frame to the next frame is smoother compared with the display effect from the current frame to the next frame, the occurrence of the situation that human eyes observe brightness difference can be effectively reduced in the low-gray stage, and the situation that a user feels light jitter is avoided.
In this embodiment, the display data of the current frame and the display data of the next frame are obtained through decoding, an average value is calculated according to the display data of the current frame and the display data of the next frame and is used as the display data of the transition frame, and before the display data of the next frame is displayed, the display data of the transition frame is displayed, so that the LED lamp can be smoother in the display frame changing process, the brightness difference between the current frame and the next frame at the frame changing moment can be effectively reduced, the brightness difference captured by human eyes when the display data is low-gray-scale data is avoided, the display effect of the LED lamp is improved, and the user experience is improved.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic flow chart of a second embodiment of the LED lamp control method of the present invention.
Based on the first embodiment shown in fig. 2, the LED lamp control method further includes:
step S21: collecting the frame interval time of a current frame and a next frame, and setting a frame interval time threshold;
optionally, the frame interval time acquiring module is controlled to acquire the frame interval time of the current frame and the next frame, specifically, the time mark is performed when the display data is received, the time mark is the time for displaying the display data, and optionally, the frame interval time of the current frame and the next frame is the difference between the time marks of the next frame and the current frame. Optionally, in a specific embodiment, the frame interval time between the collected current frame and the next frame is 32ms (milliseconds).
Optionally, in a specific embodiment, a frame interval time threshold is preset, and the frame interval time threshold is a self-defined preset value. And correspondingly setting the display time of the acquired transition frame according to the frame interval time threshold and the frame interval time as setting references. Optionally, in a specific embodiment, the preset frame interval time threshold is 30 ms. In another embodiment, the predetermined frame interval time threshold is 36 ms.
Step S22: and setting the transition display time of the display data of the transition frame according to the frame interval time and the frame interval time threshold.
Specifically, the frame interval time and the frame interval time threshold are compared, a comparison result is obtained, and the display time of the transition frame is correspondingly set according to the comparison result.
Optionally, if the comparison result is that the inter-frame time is less than the inter-frame time threshold, the display time of the transition frame is set to be half of the inter-frame time. Optionally, in a specific embodiment, the frame interval time between the current frame and the next frame acquired by the frame interval time acquiring module is 32ms, the preset frame interval time threshold is 36ms, and the frame interval time is less than the preset frame interval time threshold, so that the set display time of the transition frame is half of the frame interval time, and the display time of the transition frame is 16 ms.
Optionally, if the comparison result is that the frame interval time is greater than the preset frame interval time threshold, the display time is correspondingly set to be a fixed value, and the setting is specifically performed according to the actual display effect requirement, so as to improve the display effect and avoid generating the smear. Optionally, the fixed value is less than the frame interval time. In a specific embodiment, the frame interval time between the current frame and the next frame acquired by the frame interval time acquisition module is 36ms, the preset frame interval time threshold is 34ms, the frame interval time is greater than the preset frame interval time threshold, and the display time of the transition frame is fixedly set to be 16 ms.
Step S31: and displaying the display data of the transition frame in the display time of the transition frame, wherein the display data of the transition frame is displayed before the display data of the next frame.
Specifically, the PWM output module is controlled to encode, and a PWM signal is generated. The PWM signal carries a driving command for displaying the display data of the transition frame at the frame change time after the display of the current frame is finished, and displaying the display data of the next frame after the display time of the transition frame is finished.
Optionally, the PWM output module transmits the encoded corresponding PWM signal to the LED lamp, and controls the LED lamp to display according to an operation instruction carried by the PWM signal.
In this embodiment, by obtaining the frame interval between the current frame and the next frame and presetting the frame interval threshold, the frame interval is compared with the preset frame interval threshold, and the display time of the transition frame is set according to the comparison result, so that the LED lamp can be smoother in the display frame changing process, the brightness difference between the current frame and the next frame at the frame changing time can be effectively reduced, and the phenomenon that the brightness difference is captured by human eyes when the display data is low-gray-scale data is avoided.
