8. A floor cleaning device according to claim 1, further comprising a mop cleaning assembly which is snap-fitted to the water tank and which is disengageable from the snap-fit condition to scrape and clean mops located at the bottom of the water tank when cleaning of mops is required.
9. A floor cleaning device according to claim 8 wherein the mop cleaning assembly includes a handle and a scraping edge, the handle being adapted to operate the mop cleaning assembly such that the scraping edge can scrape the mop along the entire length of the tank.
10. A floor cleaning apparatus as claimed in claim 1 wherein the internal diameter of the air inlet conduit is greater than or equal to the diameter of the air inlet aperture and the end of the air inlet conduit is substantially in abutment with the top of the tank inner wall.
11. The floor cleaning apparatus of claim 10, wherein the distal end of the air intake conduit is formed in a serrated shape, and the serrated top portion substantially abuts the top portion of the inner wall of the tank.
12. A floor cleaning device according to claim 1, characterized in that the air inlet line is separated from the water channel by water in the tank, and the mop is inflated by suction to block the air inlet line.
