A multifunctional paper currency collection and payment system based on big data comprises a mobile terminal, paper currency, a paper currency code, a paper currency collection and payment application module, a voice recognition module, a paper currency query module, a database and a cloud server. The paper currency is issued by the country in a unified way, different paper currencies have different codes, and the paper currency receiving and paying application module is embedded into the mobile terminal and used for scanning or identifying the paper currency codes and completing the receiving and paying process of the paper currencies on the mobile terminal. Besides the payment mode of scanning the paper currency code, the payment can be inquired and paid according to the whole code, partial code characteristics, paper currency type and the like of the paper currency on the payment page, and the payment can be carried out in the form of reading the paper currency code voice through voice recognition. The database records transaction data and information, and the cloud server stores the information in the database and performs data analysis in the transaction process. The cloud server 80 inquires whether the paper money is owned by the user by accessing the paper money coding database of the user, and if the paper money is owned by the user, a paper money payment code appears on the mobile phone for scanning by a cash-receiving user; if the bill is not owned by the user, "not owned bill, not available for transaction" is displayed.
