Additional aspects and advantages of the invention will be set forth in part in the description which follows, and in part will be obvious from the description, or may be learned by practice of the invention.
As shown in fig. 1-4, an electric water heater for preventing the inner container from being over-pressurized comprises: the electric heating device comprises a liner 1, an electric heater 2, a flange 3 and a flange pressing plate 4, wherein the electric heater 2 is fixed with the flange 3, and the flange 3 is sealed on a liner opening of the liner 1 and fixed by the flange pressing plate 4; the electric water heater is characterized in that the flange plate 3 is provided with a resistance strain gauge 5, the resistance strain gauge 5 is connected with a main controller 6 of the electric water heater, and the main controller 6 is connected with an alarm prompting device 7 for alarming when the pressure of the inner container is too high. The connection mode of the resistance strain gauge 5 and the main controller 6 can be wireless connection or signal line connection.
In the embodiment, the flange 3 is bowl-shaped, and an outward flange is formed on the periphery of the flange 3; and a sealing ring is arranged between the flange plate 3 and the liner opening, and the flange plate pressing plate 4 is tightly pressed on the edge of the flange plate 3 and is fixed with the liner 1 through bolts. Therefore, the bottom of the flange 3 is suspended from the flange pressing plate 4, and the flange 3 has enough deformation space when the pressure of the inner container is overlarge.
Referring to fig. 3 again, the resistance strain gauge 5 comprises an insulating sheet 5-1 and a grid-shaped metal sheet 5-2 disposed on the insulating sheet 5-1, and both ends of the grid-shaped metal sheet 5-2 are connected to the main controller 6 through leads 5-3. During actual operation, whether the pressure of the inner container is overlarge is judged by detecting the voltage change at the two ends of the resistance strain gauge 5. In this embodiment, the main controller 6 is preferably a single chip, and the design of the peripheral circuit on the main controller 6 for detecting the resistance change of the resistance strain gauge 5 is common technical knowledge known to those skilled in the art and will not be described herein.
The electric water heater provided by the embodiment for preventing the inner container from being overlarge in pressure has the working principle that: because the inner container of the water storage type electric water heater is an integral cylinder, the pressure is uniform, the pressure intensity in unit area is small, and the whole body is not easy to deform. However, the flange 3 installed at the mouth of the bladder is smaller in unit area due to its smaller diameter, and is subjected to a greater pressure under the same pressure. Therefore, after the pressure generated by heating in the inner container exceeds the stress limit of the metal of the flange 3, the outward convex metal deformation can occur, as shown in fig. 5.
When the flange 3 continues to deform, the gap between the sealing ring and the flange 3 becomes larger and larger, and water leakage at the opening of the container is easy to occur; the deformation position of the flange plate 3 does not affect the sealing effect of the sealing ring, the inner container is always in a sealing state, and the serious accident of complete machine explosion can occur after the pressure reaches a certain degree.
Under the condition of general use, the flange 3 of the electric heater 2 is a metal smooth plane, and the flange 3 is actually changed in shape due to the outward bulge phenomenon caused by the excessive pressure. Therefore, the present embodiment measures whether the flange 3 is deformed or not by using the resistance strain gauge 5. The main detection mechanism of the resistance strain gauge 5 is that a grid-shaped metal sheet is fully distributed inside, if the shape is not changed, the resistance value is not changed, and the current value obtained after power-on or the voltage value obtained after voltage drop is fixed. And the resistance value is changed due to the change of the length or the cross section area of the deformed metal sheet, and the detected current value or the voltage value after voltage drop is changed after the voltage or the current with the same condition is passed. The surface of the resistance strain gage 5 is provided with two insulating sheets 5-1 which can be tightly attached to the surface of metal, and as long as the shape of the metal is changed, the metal sheet in the resistance strain gage 5 is also changed correspondingly. The current or voltage values before and after can be measured through the inconsistent resistance values caused by the change, so that whether the shape of the flange plate 3 is changed due to the overlarge pressure of the inner container is judged by comparison.
As shown in fig. 6, a specific method for determining whether the inner container pressure is excessive is: 1) after the electric water heater is installed, the electric water heater is electrified for the first time, and the voltage value Uc of the resistance strain gauge is recorded for the first time; 2) detecting the voltage value Us of the resistance strain gauge every other one hour; 3) judging whether Us is equal to Uc; if yes, returning to the step 2); if not, the heating of the electric heater is stopped, and an alarm instruction is sent to the alarm prompting device 7.
Of course, in step 2), the time interval may be adjusted as appropriate according to different actual needs, for example, to 0.5 hour, 1.5 hours, and so on.
In step 3), the voltage values Us and Uc may have an error range, and no alarm command is issued within the error range. Or, there are time length thresholds, such as 15s, 30s, 60s, etc., when the voltage values Us, Uc are not equal, the alarm command is issued only when the time length of the voltage values Us, Uc is not equal exceeds the time length threshold. Therefore, false alarm caused by voltage and current fluctuation can be better avoided.
In this embodiment, the alarm prompting device 7 is an operation display of the electric water heater, an alarm prompting module is arranged on the operation display, and when an alarm instruction is received, the alarm prompting module displays a text prompt and an icon flickers. As a conversion implementation manner of this embodiment, the alarm prompting device may further include a buzzer, a background server, an intelligent terminal APP, and the like, which are connected to the main controller.
In addition, when the electric heater 5 is turned off due to an excessive inner container pressure, the main controller 6 keeps the operation display from being operated, so as to prevent the user from increasing the inner container pressure due to reheating caused by an operation disorder.
As a variation of this embodiment, the resistance strain gauge 5 is replaced by other flange deformation detection devices such as a displacement sensor and a vibration sensor, which can achieve similar technical effects of the present invention, and will not be described herein again.
It will be appreciated by those skilled in the art from the foregoing description of construction and principles that the invention is not limited to the specific embodiments described above, and that modifications and substitutions based on the teachings of the art may be made without departing from the scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims and their equivalents. The details not described in the detailed description are prior art or common general knowledge.
