Abstract
The invention provides a high-density board-to-board power connector, which comprises a female end connector unit and a male end connector unit which are matched with each other; the female end connector unit comprises a female end plastic main body and at least one first female end terminal unit arranged in the female end plastic main body; the male end connector unit comprises a male end plastic main body and at least one first male end terminal unit arranged in the male end plastic main body; the high-current power supply module is simple in structure, and can meet the requirements of the power supply module on signal density or transmission speed under the condition of meeting the high-current condition by arranging the two male terminal and the female terminal; the stability and the reliability of connection are ensured by adopting a two-point contact mode; the female terminal and the male terminal are integrally formed with the shell and then assembled in the plastic main body, so that the structure is more reliable and stable; through the combination of the fork bone and the fork groove, the elastic buckle and the buckle groove are assembled to ensure the stability and reliability of the assembly of the connecting piece and the shell.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of connectors, in particular to a high-density board-to-board power connector.
Background
The board-to-board connector is commonly used in the PCB boards of computer main boards, liquid crystal displays, liquid crystal televisions, switches and the like, and the high-density connector is mainly applied to the application occasions of servers, communication equipment and the like which have high-density or high-speed performance requirements on signals besides large current.
The prior art board-to-board connectors typically include a pair of header and receptacle connectors mounted on two parallel and spaced-apart PCB boards, respectively, and configured to be mechanically and electrically connected to each other such that the header and receptacle connectors on the respective PCB boards transmit signals through the electrical connection to each other.
However, the signal pins of the existing connector, whether being the male end or the female end, are assembled, and the signal pins pitch and density of the female end are the same as those of the male end, so that the connectivity and stability of the existing connector are poor.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a high-density board-to-board power connector aiming at the defects of the prior art.
The technical scheme of the invention is as follows: a high-density board-to-board power connector comprises a female end connector unit and a male end connector unit which are matched with each other;
the female end connector unit comprises a female end plastic main body and at least one first female end terminal unit arranged in the female end plastic main body;
the male end connector unit comprises a male end plastic main body and at least one first male end terminal unit arranged in the male end plastic main body;
when the first connector unit and the second connector unit are combined, the first male terminal unit of the first connector unit is inserted into the first female terminal unit of the second connector unit, and the first male terminal unit and the first female terminal unit are connected in a double-point contact mode.
Preferably, the first male terminal unit comprises a first male terminal housing, a first male terminal connector and a plurality of first male terminals, the first male terminal connector is clamped in the first male terminal housing, and the plurality of first male terminals are integrally formed in the first male terminal connector.
Preferably, the first male end shell is a hollow structure with two ends penetrating through, the upper end of the first male end shell is provided with a corresponding first buckle groove, and two sides of the first male end shell are also provided with corresponding first fork grooves.

Detailed Description
The following further describes embodiments of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings:
as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the present embodiment provides a high-density board-to-board power connector including a female terminal connector unit and a male terminal connector unit that are fitted to each other.
The female end connector unit comprises a female end plastic main body 1 and at least one first female end terminal unit 2 arranged in the female end plastic main body 1; correspondingly, the male terminal connector unit comprises a male plastic body 4 and at least one first male terminal unit 5 installed in the male plastic body 4. And when the first connector unit and the second connector unit are combined, the first male terminal unit 5 of the first connector unit is inserted into the first female terminal unit 2 of the second connector unit, and the first male terminal unit 5 and the first female terminal unit 2 are connected in a double-point contact manner, so that the stability and reliability of connection are ensured.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 3, the first male terminal unit 5 includes a first male housing 51, a first male connector 52, and a plurality of first male terminals 53, the first male connector 52 is snapped into the first male housing 51, and the plurality of first male terminals 53 are integrally formed in the first male connector 52.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 4, the first male end housing 51 of the present embodiment is a hollow structure with two ends penetrating through, one end of the first male end housing 51 is a slot, and a corresponding first fastening groove 54 is disposed at the upper end of the first male end housing 51, and corresponding first fork grooves 55 are further disposed at two sides of the first male end housing 51.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 5, the first male end connector 52 of the present embodiment is provided at an upper end thereof with a first elastic buckle 56 for being engaged with the first buckle groove 54, and both sides of the first male end connector 52 are provided with first fork ribs 57 for being engaged with the first fork grooves 55.
Preferably, the first male end connector 52 is inserted into the first male end housing 51, the first elastic buckle 56 is clamped in the first buckle slot 54, the first fork 57 is inserted into the first fork slot 55, and the arrangement of the plurality of first male end terminals 53 in this embodiment is shown in fig. 6. Each of the first male terminals 53 has a flat structure at one end and a circular structure at the other end.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 7, in this embodiment, the first female terminal unit 2 includes a first female housing 21, a first female connector 22, and a plurality of first female terminals 23, the first female connector 22 is clamped in the first female housing 21, and the plurality of first female terminals 23 are integrally formed in the first female connector 22.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 8, the first female end housing 21 of the present embodiment has a hollow structure with two ends penetrating through, and a corresponding second fastening groove 24 is disposed at the upper end of the first female end housing 21, and corresponding second fork grooves 25 are further disposed at two sides of the first female end housing 21.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 9, the upper end of the first female end connector 22 is provided with a second elastic buckle 26 for matching with the second buckle groove 24, and both sides of the first female end connector 22 are provided with second wishbones 27 for matching with the second fork grooves 25.
Preferably, when the first female end connector 22 is inserted into the first female end housing 21, the second elastic buckle 26 is clamped in the second buckle slot 24, and the second fork rib 27 is inserted into the second fork slot 25. Referring to fig. 10, the arrangement of the plurality of first female terminal 23 according to the present embodiment is shown, and each of the first female terminal 53 has two contact portions 28 at one end and one contact portion 28 at the other end in the present embodiment. The flat end of the first male terminal 53 is in contact with the two contact portions 28 of the first female terminal 23.
Preferably, the female terminal connector unit of the present embodiment further includes at least one second female terminal unit 3 disposed in the female plastic body 1. The male end connector unit further comprises at least one second male end terminal unit 6 arranged in the male end plastic body 4.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 11 and 12, the second female terminal unit 3 includes a second female housing 31, and two second female terminals 32 disposed in the second female housing 31 and engaged with each other, and a corresponding slot is formed between the two second female terminals 32.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 13 and 14, the second male terminal unit 6 includes a second male housing 62, and a second male terminal 62 disposed in the second male housing 61.
The foregoing embodiments and description have been presented only to illustrate the principles and preferred embodiments of the invention, and various changes and modifications may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
Claims (10)
1. A high-density board-to-board power connector is characterized by comprising a female end connector unit and a male end connector unit which are matched with each other;
the female end connector unit comprises a female end plastic main body and at least one first female end terminal unit arranged in the female end plastic main body;
the male end connector unit comprises a male end plastic main body and at least one first male end terminal unit arranged in the male end plastic main body;
when the first connector unit and the second connector unit are combined, the first male terminal unit of the first connector unit is inserted into the first female terminal unit of the second connector unit, and the first male terminal unit and the first female terminal unit are connected in a double-point contact mode.
2. A high density board-to-board power connector as recited in claim 1, wherein: the first male terminal unit comprises a first male end shell, a first male end connecting piece and a plurality of first male terminals, wherein the first male end connecting piece is clamped in the first male end shell, and the first male terminals are integrally formed in the first male end connecting piece.

A high density board-to-board power connector as recited in claim 2, wherein: the first male end shell is of a hollow structure with two ends penetrating through, corresponding first buckling grooves are formed in the upper end of the first male end shell, and corresponding first fork grooves are formed in the two sides of the first male end shell.

A high density board-to-board power connector as recited in claim 2, wherein: the upper end of the first male end connecting piece is provided with a first elastic buckle matched with the first buckle groove, and two sides of the first male end connecting piece are provided with first fork bones matched with the first fork grooves;
when the first male end connecting piece is inserted into the first male end shell, the first elastic buckle is arranged in the first buckle groove in a clamping mode, and the first fork bone is inserted into the first fork groove.

The high-density board-to-board power connector of claim 5, wherein: a second elastic buckle matched with the second buckle groove is arranged at the upper end of the first female end connecting piece, and second wishbones matched with the second fork groove are arranged at two sides of the first female end connecting piece;
the first female end connecting piece is inserted in the first female end shell, the second elastic buckle is arranged in the second buckle groove in a clamping manner, and the second fork bone is inserted in the second fork groove.
