Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below are not intended to represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating an information processing method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, and as shown in fig. 1, the information processing method applied to an electronic device including a display screen includes the following steps:
s11, determining the display mode of the display screen;
s12, if the display mode is a deep color mode, detecting whether the display content of the display screen comprises a picture;
s13, if the display content comprises a picture, determining the color statistical characteristics of the picture;
and S14, reducing the display brightness of the picture according to the color statistical characteristics.
In an embodiment of the present disclosure, an electronic device includes: a mobile device and a stationary device; the mobile device includes: a mobile phone, a tablet computer, or a wearable device, etc. The stationary device includes, but is not limited to, a Personal Computer (PC). The electronic device includes a display screen capable of displaying an image.
In step S11, the electronic device determines a display mode of the display screen, where the display mode may include: a dark mode and a light mode.
The dark mode is: a display mode in which the display background is mainly black or dark gray; the light color display mode is a display mode in which the display background is mainly white or nearly white.
In some cases, since the dark mode mainly uses black or dark gray as the display background, the brightness value of the display background of the display screen in the dark mode as a whole is lower than the preset value, for example, the display background is black. In the light color mode, the brightness value of the display background of the display screen is not lower than a preset value, for example, the display background is white. Of course, the difference between the dark mode and the light mode is mainly reflected in the overall visual difference, which is only an example here.
Overall, the overall display luminance in the dark color mode is lower than that in the light color mode; alternatively, the average display luminance in the dark color mode is lower than that in the light color mode.
For example, in one embodiment, if the display mode of the current display screen is a dark mode, the display background that is originally white or close to white is changed to black or dark gray. In the light display mode, the original display background of the display content is usually maintained.
Taking the display screen as an Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) display screen as an example, when the display screen is in a dark color mode, the pixels of the black display portion can be directly turned off and do not emit Light, so that human eyes can feel that the display background is black. For the OLED display screen, the dark color mode can not only improve the visual experience of a user, but also save the power consumption of the electronic equipment.
However, if the display content includes a picture and the picture itself is not the display background, the brightness of the display background is reduced by changing only the color of the display background, and the display content is ignored because the display picture itself is the display content, which results in a large brightness when the display content includes the picture in the dark color display mode.
For example, in daily applications, such as bean, WeChat friend circles, microblog and the like, display contents often include pictures, and the pictures are generally white bottom, so that in a dark color mode, when a user clicks on the pictures, a screen has a large brightness contrast, and extremely uncomfortable use experience is brought.
Therefore, in step S12, the present disclosure detects whether a picture is included in the display content of the display screen when the display mode of the display screen is the dark mode.
The present disclosure further determines a color statistical characteristic of the picture in step S13, and reduces the display brightness of the picture according to the color statistical characteristic in step S14.
In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the color statistical characteristics of the picture may be obtained by determining a color histogram of the picture. The color statistical characteristics of the image can reflect the characteristics of the picture content, and the display brightness of the picture can be reduced according to the color statistical characteristics because the display brightness of different picture contents in the picture is not consistent.
It can be understood that, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, when the display mode of the electronic device is the dark color mode, whether a picture is included in the display content of the display screen is determined through detection of the display content, and if the picture is included in the display content and the color statistical characteristics of the picture are further determined, reduction of the display brightness is performed according to the color statistical characteristics, so that a phenomenon that high brightness display in the dark color mode is caused because the display brightness of the picture is not reduced as the display content is reduced.
In one embodiment, step S12 includes:
acquiring page data of display content of the display screen;
and determining whether the picture is included in the display content according to the page data.
In this embodiment, the page data generally includes display data of each display area, a corresponding data format, and the like. For example, the page data includes the pixel value of each pixel of the content displayed in a certain display region, and the format of the display region is a picture format. Therefore, when detecting whether the picture is included in the display content of the display screen, the present disclosure may utilize the original display data, i.e., the page data when the display screen is displayed, to determine whether the picture is included in the display content.
It can be appreciated that determining whether a picture is included in the display content based on the original page data can improve the accuracy of detecting whether a picture is included in the display content of the display screen. It should be noted that, in the embodiments of the present disclosure, it is not limited to determining whether a picture is included in the display content based on the page data. For example, whether a continuous region with a large brightness (pictures are generally white background) exists in an image including the display content may be analyzed based on an image processing mode, and if the continuous region with the large brightness exists, it is determined that the picture is included in the display content.
In addition, it should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the display position of the picture in the display content may also be determined by the upper page data, and the memory data of the picture is acquired based on the display position of the picture. Compared with the mode of downloading the picture to acquire the memory data of the image, the method can reduce the steps of downloading again, thereby improving the processing efficiency.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of an information processing method shown in the embodiment of the disclosure, and as shown in fig. 2, step S14 in fig. 1 may include two steps S14A and S14B, as follows:
S14A, determining the type of the image area contained in the picture according to the color statistical characteristics, wherein the type of the image area comprises: a first type and/or a second type; wherein the first type of image area comprises: the ratio of the sum of the number of pixels with pixel values smaller than the first threshold value and the number of pixels with pixel values larger than the second threshold value to the total pixels of the image area is larger than the first ratio; the second type of image area is an image area outside the first type of image area;
and S14B, reducing the display brightness of the picture according to the type of the image area.
In this embodiment, the type of the image area included in the picture may be determined according to the color statistical characteristics, and then the display brightness of the picture is reduced according to the type of the image area, that is, the display brightness of the picture is specifically reduced according to the type of the image area. By the aid of the targeted processing mode, the processing effect of reducing the display brightness of the picture can be improved.
The types of image regions include a first type and/or a second type. The first type is a ratio of the sum of the number of pixels with pixel values smaller than a first threshold value and the number of pixels with pixel values larger than a second threshold value to the total pixels of the image area, and the image area with the pixel values larger than the first ratio is the image area of the first type, and the pixel values of the image area are integrally distributed in two polarization modes. In the image region exhibiting the two-polarization distribution, the color of the background portion may conflict with the dark mode.
In one embodiment, the first type of image region comprises: white background and dark font text area.
In this embodiment, the first type of image area is a white background and a dark font text area. If the display screen is in the dark mode, the white background of the first type of image area conflicts with the dark mode. In the first type of character region, the character part is the focused information, and the background part other than the character part is not the focused information.
In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the image area of the second type is an image area other than the image area of the first type. For example, the first type of image area is a text area, and the second type of image area may be a picture area, such as a landscape, and the content of the entire picture area may be the information of interest.
It can be understood that, because different types of image regions have different characteristics, brightness reduction processing needs to be performed specifically to better match a dark color mode, and user experience is improved.
In one embodiment, the method further comprises:
if the types of the image areas comprise a first type and a second type, determining the position relationship between the image areas of the first type and the image areas of the second type;
the reducing the display brightness of the picture according to the type of the image area comprises:
if the first type image area and the second type image area are not overlapped, respectively reducing the brightness of the first type image area and the second type image area;
if the first type image area and the second type image area are overlapped, reducing the brightness of the second type image area.
In this embodiment, if the picture includes both the first type image region and the second type image region, it is determined in advance whether the positions of the first type image region and the second type image region overlap. For example, if the picture simultaneously includes a text region and a picture region, it is determined that the text region and the picture region are independent regions; or the text area and the picture area are overlapped (the text is in the picture, and the background of the text is the picture).
If the first type image area and the second type image area do not overlap, the information of interest in the first type image area and the second type image area may not be consistent, and thus the brightness of the first type image area and the second type image area needs to be reduced respectively.
However, if the first type image area and the second type image area overlap, the present disclosure only reduces the brightness of the second type image area for such a hybrid overlap manner.
It can be understood that according to the type of the image area, when the display brightness of the picture is reduced, the brightness of the picture is reduced by combining the position relation of the image areas of different types, so that the dark color mode can be better matched, and the use experience of a user is further improved.
In an embodiment, if the first type image region and the second type image region overlap, the reducing the brightness of the second type image region includes:
graying out pixel values of the second type of image area and reducing grayscale values.
In this embodiment, if the first type image area and the second type image area overlap, the luminance of the picture is reduced by graying out the pixel values of the second type image area and reducing the grayscale values. For example, if the first type of image area is a text area and the text is on the second type of screen, the text may be a part of the screen that is more focused by the user. The present disclosure thus grays out the pixel values of the second type image area and reduces the grayscale values, for example, grays out the pixel values of the second type image area and displays them in black to better match the dark mode. In addition, it can be understood that the way of reducing the gray scale value after graying can reduce the calculation amount when reducing the gray scale value, thereby improving the processing efficiency.
In one embodiment, the reducing the display brightness of the picture according to the type of the image area includes:
if the image area is a first type of character area, performing reverse color processing on the characters of a first color background and a second color of the characters in the character area; the brightness of the first color is higher than the brightness of the second color;
alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
if the image area is of a second type, adding a mask for reducing the brightness of the image area of the second type on the image area of the second type;
alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
if the type of the image area comprises the first type and the second type, and the character area of the first type is not overlapped with the image area of the second type, performing reverse color processing on the first color background of the characters in the character area and the characters of the second color, and adding a mask for reducing the brightness of the image area of the second type on the image area of the second type.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, if the image area is the first type of text area, as described above, the text is the focused information, and the background other than the text is not the focused information. The brightness of the background of the first color other than the characters in the picture is higher than the brightness of the second color of the characters, for example, the first color is white, and the second color is black. Therefore, when the image area is the first type of character area, the background color and the character color of the characters are subjected to reverse color processing, the brightness of the background of the picture is reduced through the reverse color processing, and the brightness of the character part is improved to highlight the characters. The reverse color processing is, for example: the background of the picture is adjusted from white to black, and the text is adjusted from black to white.
Fig. 3 is an exemplary illustration of a text reverse color processing, as shown in fig. 3, a part on the left side of fig. 3 is a picture on a display screen, the picture contains text, a background of the picture is white, and the text is black. After the reverse color processing, the background of the right part of the picture in fig. 3 indicated by the arrow becomes black, and the characters become white.
It can be understood that, in this embodiment, when the image area is the first type of text area, the background color and the text color of the text are subjected to reverse color processing, so that the brightness of the background of the picture can be reduced to better match the dark color mode, and the brightness of the text part can be improved to highlight the text in the dark color mode, thereby improving the user experience.
However, if the image area is the second type image area, as described above, all the image contents in the second type image area may be the information that is concerned, so that the present disclosure adds a mask for reducing the brightness of the second type image area to the second type image area, which can reduce the brightness of the image as a whole, thereby improving the user experience when the image is displayed in the dark mode.
If the image area includes a first type image area and a second type image area, and the first type character area and the second type image area are not overlapped, the image area of the first type area and the second type image area can be independently processed by areas. It can be understood that the processing effect of reducing the brightness of the picture can be further improved by the method of performing targeted processing on the local area on the picture, and the user experience is improved.
In one embodiment, the method further comprises:
if the image area is of a second type, reducing the contrast of the image area of the second type before adding the mask.
In this embodiment, if the image area is the second type image area, the contrast of the second type image area is reduced before the mask is added to reduce the discomfort of the eyes of the user caused by the excessively high picture contrast. Therefore, the contrast of the picture is reduced before the mask is added to reduce the brightness of the picture, so that the use experience of a user can be further improved.
In one embodiment, the adding a mask to the image area of the second type to reduce the brightness of the image area of the second type includes:
and adding a mask for reducing the brightness of the second type of image area on the second type of image area according to the color distribution of the second type of image area.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, when adding the mask for reducing the brightness of the second type image area on the second type image area, the mask is not added randomly, but the color distribution of the second type image area is referred to, so that the color distribution of the second type image area after adding the mask is associated with the color distribution before adding the mask, and the picture content is not changed due to too large color change.
For example, in one embodiment, the mask may be added according to the color value having the most color distribution in the color distribution of the second type of image region.
