Description

Measurement method, terminal and network side equipment
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of wireless communication technologies, and in particular, to a measurement method, a terminal, and a network side device.
Background
At present, a terminal firstly performs measurement of common frequency, different frequency and different systems, and then performs switching or reselection according to a measurement result. And in an idle state, the terminal autonomously determines a target cell to complete reselection according to the measurement result. And in the connection state, the terminal reports the measurement result to the network and completes switching according to the network indication. The network configures Frequency point information to be measured (e.g., ARFCN (Absolute Radio Frequency Channel Number)), and the terminal receives Reference symbols at corresponding Frequency domain positions to estimate Channel conditions (RSRP (Reference Signal Receiving Power), RSRQ (Reference Signal Receiving Quality), SINR (Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio)). In an LTE (Long Term Evolution) system, a terminal performs channel estimation through a CRS (Cell Reference Signal). In the NR (New Radio, New air interface) system, a terminal performs Channel estimation according to an SSB (also referred to as SS/PBCH Block, synchronization Signal/physical broadcast Channel Block, including PSS (primary synchronization Signal), SSs (secondary synchronization Signal), and PBCH (physical broadcast Channel)) or CSI-RS (Channel State Information Reference Signal).
Part of the spectrum of the NR system comes from spectrum re-cultivation, e.g. LTE spectrum re-cultivation to NR spectrum. Considering the existing 4G network situation, 4G users may exist for a long time, LTE spectrum may not be fully faded, and there is a possibility that NR and LTE share spectrum. Specifically, a certain carrier may be used for LTE and NR in a time division manner (as shown in fig. 1), or LTE and NR may exist in the carrier at the same time, and the two carriers are distinguished by a resource block (as shown in fig. 2). The spectrum sharing causes a certain carrier or a certain part of resource blocks to be dynamically converted in the NR and LTE systems, and the measurement mechanisms and reference symbol design schemes of the LTE system and the NR system are different, which may affect the system measurement, resulting in the terminal being unable to successfully measure.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention clearer, the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings of the embodiments of the present invention. It is to be understood that the embodiments described are only a few embodiments of the present invention, and not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the described embodiments of the invention, are within the scope of the invention.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic flowchart of a measurement method according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the method is applied to a terminal, and includes the following steps:
step 11: a terminal acquires first information, where the first information is used to indicate measurement-related information of a spectrum sharing scenario (which may also be referred to as a shared spectrum resource scenario).
It should be noted that the shared spectrum resource scenario refers to a scenario in which at least two different communication systems share a spectrum (the shared spectrum may be referred to as a target spectrum). The at least two different communication systems may include an LTE System and an NR System, or may include other existing communication systems, such as UMTS (Universal Mobile telecommunications System), GPRS (General Packet Radio Service), and the like, and may also include future evolved communication systems.
In addition, the first information may be configured by a network side device, or may be specified by a protocol, and is not limited herein.
In the measurement method provided by the embodiment of the invention, the terminal acquires first information used for indicating measurement related information in a shared spectrum resource scene, and executes corresponding measurement according to the first information. The first information defines the resource sharing condition, that is, the measurement target is occupied by different communication systems in different time periods, so that the terminal can measure based on the communication system on which the measurement target works in different time periods, the terminal can be ensured to correctly complete the measurement of the measurement target, and the system performance is improved.
It should be noted that the Measurement Object (MO) may be an object frequency point (also referred to as a frequency point to be measured), an object frequency range, an object carrier, or an object frequency band. The condition that the measurement target is a target frequency range, a target carrier or a target frequency band means that the target frequency range, the target carrier or the target frequency band is occupied by the same communication system within the same period of time, so that a plurality of frequency points to be measured in the target frequency range, the target carrier or the target frequency band can be measured based on the same communication system. In the embodiment of the present invention, the data amount of the first information may be reduced (for example, if each frequency point to be measured defines the communication system in which the frequency point operates, the data amount of the measurement configuration information is inevitably increased), and storage resources and communication resources are saved.
The above measurement method is exemplified below.
Optionally, the first information includes at least one of:
spectrum sharing information;
and measuring configuration information.
Specifically, the spectrum sharing information is used to indicate a time period and a frequency range of each communication system sharing a target spectrum operating on the target spectrum. The first information may include spectrum sharing information, so that the terminal performs measurement based on a communication system in which a measurement target operates in a different time period according to the spectrum sharing information. The first information may also include measurement configuration information, which is determined according to the spectrum sharing condition, so that the terminal may also perform measurement based on the communication system in which the measurement target operates in the time period in different time periods according to the measurement configuration information. And then the terminal can correctly finish the measurement of the measurement target in the target frequency spectrum, and the system performance is improved.
Optionally, the spectrum sharing information includes at least one of:
a spectrum sharing mode;
spectrum information of at least one communication system;
it should be noted that the frequency spectrum is at least part of a target frequency spectrum shared by the at least two different communication systems, and the frequency spectrum information includes at least one of a frequency domain starting position, a frequency spectrum width and a center frequency point; the spectrum sharing information may include spectrum information occupied by each of the communication systems, and when only two communication systems share a target spectrum, only one of the communication systems may occupy the spectrum information, and the other part of the target spectrum is a spectrum occupied by the other communication system.
A duration of time that the at least one communication system occupies the frequency spectrum;
it should be noted that the spectrum sharing information may include a duration of spectrum occupation of each of the communication systems, and when only two communication systems share the target spectrum, only one of the communication systems may occupy the spectrum. For example, when only two communication systems periodically share the target spectrum, the spectrum sharing information may include only one of the communication systems occupying the duration of the spectrum if the sharing period is clear.
At least one communication system occupies the starting time of the frequency spectrum;
it should be noted that the spectrum sharing information may include a starting time of spectrum occupation of each of the communication systems, and when only two communication systems share the target spectrum, only one of the communication systems may occupy the starting time of spectrum occupation. For example, when only two communication systems periodically share the target spectrum, the spectrum sharing information may include only the duration and the starting time of the spectrum occupied by one of the communication systems when the sharing period is clear.
At least one Uplink-downlink configuration of the communication system;
a sharing period of periodic spectrum sharing;
spectrum information of at least one communication system for periodic spectrum sharing;
it should be noted that the spectrum of the at least one communication system may be the target spectrum or a part of the target spectrum, and the spectrum information of the at least one communication system includes at least one of a frequency domain start position, a spectrum width, and a center frequency point.
The contents included in the spectrum sharing information are exemplified below.
In some embodiments of the present invention, the NR system and the LTE system are shared in time division by using a carrier as a unit, and the content of the spectrum sharing information may include a different system shared time domain pattern (pattern) in a specified time range (for example, a first time range), where the time domain pattern includes: the time starting position and duration of the NR are applied, and the time starting position and duration of the LTE are applied. If the conversion of the NR system to the LTE system is periodic, the content of the spectrum sharing information may include information related to the periodicity. Alternatively, the spectrum sharing information may include only the period, offset (time offset) and duration of the carrier used by the NR system, and it may be considered that the NR system is used by the LTE system at a time other than the time of use. Vice versa, the spectrum sharing information may include only the period, offset (time offset) and duration of the carrier used by the LTE system, and it can be considered that the time other than the LTE system use time is used by the NR system. In addition, the spectrum sharing information may further include related information of the shared carrier, such as a center frequency point of the carrier, a start frequency point of the carrier, and/or a carrier frequency domain width. Specifically, the frequency points can be identified by using ARFCN (LTE: E-ARFCN; NR: N-ARFCN).
In other embodiments of the present invention, the NR system and the LTE system are shared in units of one or more PRBs (physical resource blocks), and resource blocks occupied by the NR system and the LTE system are fixed. The content of the spectrum sharing information may include a frequency domain pattern shared by different system resources, where the frequency domain pattern may include frequency domain related information, and specifically may include at least one of the following: the method comprises the steps of obtaining the initial position of a frequency domain resource occupied by an NR system, the frequency domain width of the frequency domain resource occupied by the NR system, the initial PRB position of the frequency domain resource occupied by the NR system, the continuous PRB number of the frequency domain resource occupied by the NR system, the initial position of the frequency domain resource occupied by an LTE system, the frequency domain width of the frequency domain resource occupied by the LTE system, the initial PRB position of the frequency domain resource occupied by the LTE system and the continuous PRB number of the frequency domain resource occupied by the LTE system.
In some other embodiments of the present invention, the NR system and the LTE system are time-divided in units of one or more PRBs, and the respective occupied PRBs(s) of the NR system and the LTE system are dynamically changed. The content of the spectrum sharing information may include an inter-system shared time-frequency domain pattern within a specified time range (e.g., a second time range). Specifically, the time-frequency domain pattern includes: applying the time starting position and the duration of NR and applying the time starting position and the duration of LTE; frequency domain related information may also be included, for example at least one of: the method comprises the steps of obtaining the initial position of a frequency domain resource occupied by an NR system, the frequency domain width of the frequency domain resource occupied by the NR system, the initial PRB position of the frequency domain resource occupied by the NR system, the continuous PRB number of the frequency domain resource occupied by the NR system, the initial position of the frequency domain resource occupied by an LTE system, the frequency domain width of the frequency domain resource occupied by the LTE system, the initial PRB position of the frequency domain resource occupied by the LTE system and the continuous PRB number of the frequency domain resource occupied by the LTE system.
Optionally, the spectrum sharing manner includes at least one of:
a frequency domain sharing mode;
a time domain sharing mode;
a time domain and frequency domain sharing mode;
at least one mode of operation of the communication system, the mode of operation comprising an uplink mode, a downlink mode and an uplink/downlink mode.
It should be noted that the uplink mode, i.e., the SUL (uplink enhanced) mode, is only uplink transmission; the downlink mode, that is, the SDL (downlink enhanced) mode, is only downlink transmission; the uplink/downlink mode refers to both uplink and downlink transmissions.
Optionally, the spectrum information includes at least one of:
a frequency domain starting position;
a spectral width;
and (4) a central frequency point.
Optionally, the measurement configuration information includes at least one of:
a target communication system corresponding to a measurement target (MO);
measuring a time range of a target corresponding to a target communication system;
measuring the starting time and the duration of a target communication system corresponding to a target;
measuring a sharing period corresponding to a target;
and measuring the offset value of the target corresponding to the target communication system in the sharing period.
It should be noted that the measurement target may be a target frequency point (also referred to as a frequency point to be measured), a target frequency range, a target carrier, or a target frequency band.
Specifically, in some optional embodiments, the measurement configuration information may include only a target communication system corresponding to the measurement target, for example, the measurement target is occupied by an LTE system in a first time period and occupied by an NR system in an immediately subsequent second time period, then the network side device may issue, to the terminal, measurement configuration information indicating that the target communication system corresponding to the measurement target is the LTE system at the beginning of the first time period, the terminal, after receiving the measurement configuration information, measures the measurement target based on the LTE system, until the second time period begins, the network side device issues, to the terminal, measurement configuration information indicating that the target communication system corresponding to the measurement target is the NR system again, and the terminal, according to the newly received measurement configuration information, switches to measurement of the measurement target based on the NR system. In the embodiment of the invention, each time the communication system of the target switching work is measured, the network side equipment needs to send the measurement configuration information again so as to ensure that the terminal can carry out measurement based on the correct communication system.
In other optional embodiments, the measurement configuration information may be used to indicate a time period in which the measurement target operates on the target communication system, except for including the target communication system corresponding to the measurement target, so that when the measurement target switches the operating communication system, the network side device does not need to retransmit the measurement configuration information. The measurement configuration information indicates time periods of the measurement target operating on the target communication system in various ways, one is to explicitly indicate a time range, i.e., a start time and a stop time, of the measurement target operating on the target communication system, another is to explicitly indicate a start time and a duration of the measurement target operating on the target communication system, and another is to explicitly indicate a sharing period and an offset value within the period of the measurement target operating on the target communication system during periodic sharing, and so on, which are not described in detail herein.
Optionally, after the first information is obtained, the measurement method further includes:
measuring a measurement target based on a target communication system within a target time range, the measurement target being occupied by the target communication system within the target time range.
It should be noted that the target time range may be determined by the terminal according to the spectrum sharing information, or may be determined according to measurement configuration information.
For the case that the target time range is determined according to the spectrum sharing information, for example, after the terminal receives the spectrum sharing information issued by the network side device, it is determined that the measurement target operates on the first communication system in the first time period, operates on the second communication system in the second time period, starts the first timer for timing when the first time period starts, before the first timer expires, the terminal measures the measurement target based on the first communication system, starts the second timer after the first timer expires, and simultaneously switches to measure the measurement target based on the second communication system until the second timer expires.
For the case that the target time range is determined according to the measurement configuration information, it may be explicitly indicated in the measurement configuration information, for example, explicitly indicating a time range in which the measurement target operates on the target communication system, or a starting time and a duration, etc.; for example, when the network side device performs measurement of the measurement target based on the first communication system through the measurement configuration information configuration terminal at the first time and performs measurement of the measurement target based on the second communication system through the measurement configuration information configuration terminal at the second time, the corresponding target time range is from the first time to the second time when the target communication system is the first communication system.
Optionally, the measurement method further includes:
reporting the capability information of the terminal to a network side device, wherein the capability information comprises at least one of the following:
information whether spectrum sharing is supported;
information of frequency bands supporting spectrum sharing;
information of frequency bands supported by the terminal in each communication system.
In the embodiment of the invention, the terminal can also report the capability information to the network side equipment, so that the network side equipment can issue the measurement configuration information according to the capability of the terminal. Specifically, the reporting of the capability information may be actively reported by the terminal, or may be reported after receiving an inquiry from the network side device, for example, the terminal may directly report frequency band information that supports spectrum sharing to the network side device, or the network side device inquires whether the terminal supports spectrum sharing of a preset frequency band, and the terminal sends a response message to the inquiry of the network side device to confirm that the spectrum sharing of the preset frequency band is supported or the spectrum resource sharing of the preset frequency band is not supported.
Optionally, the information of the frequency band includes at least one of the following:

step 21: the method comprises the step that a network side device sends first information to a terminal, wherein the first information is used for indicating measurement related information of a spectrum sharing scene (also referred to as a shared spectrum resource scene).

In the measurement method provided by the embodiment of the invention, the network side device sends the first information used for indicating the measurement related information in the shared spectrum resource scene to the terminal, so that the terminal can execute corresponding measurement according to the first information.

Referring to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a schematic flow chart of a measurement method according to a third embodiment of the present invention, where the method is applied to a base station, and includes the following steps:
step 51: the base station acquires frequency spectrum sharing information of a target frequency spectrum shared by at least two communication systems, wherein the frequency spectrum sharing information is used for indicating the working period and the working frequency range of each communication system on the target frequency spectrum;
step 52: and the base station configures the terminal to execute frequency point measurement based on the corresponding communication system in the working time period and the working frequency band of each communication system according to the frequency spectrum sharing information. That is, which communication system occupies the frequency band to be measured, the terminal is configured to perform the measurement based on the communication system.
It should be noted that the at least two communication systems may include an LTE System and an NR System, and may also include other existing communication systems, such as UMTS (Universal Mobile telecommunications System), GPRS (General Packet Radio Service), and the like, and may also include future evolved communication systems.
According to the measuring method provided by the embodiment of the invention, when the target frequency spectrum is shared by at least two communication systems, the base station configures the terminal to perform frequency point measurement based on the communication system in the working period and the working frequency band of the corresponding communication system according to the frequency spectrum sharing information used for indicating the working period and the working frequency band of each communication system on the target frequency spectrum, so that the measuring configuration can be accurately performed, the terminal can be ensured to accurately complete the measurement of the measurement target in the target frequency spectrum, and the system performance is improved.
The above measurement method is exemplified below.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the base station performs measurement configuration, the working time period of each communication system can be configured to the terminal, so that the terminal can perform measurement based on different communication systems at different time periods according to the configuration. Specifically, if only two communication systems share the target frequency spectrum, the operating period of only one of the communication systems may be configured. Of course, only a portion of the operating time of the communication system may be configured. When the base station performs measurement configuration, the base station may configure the terminal to perform measurement based on a communication system to be handed over to before performing communication system handover each time.
Optionally, the step of obtaining the spectrum sharing information of the target spectrum shared by at least two communication systems includes at least one of:
the base station directly sends first request information to a target adjacent base station through an interface between the base stations, and receives frequency spectrum sharing information of the target adjacent base station, which is directly sent by the target adjacent base station according to the first request information;

the base station receives frequency spectrum sharing information which is sent by network management equipment and is autonomously sent to the network management equipment by a target adjacent base station;
and the base station receives the frequency spectrum sharing information which is sent by the core network equipment and is autonomously sent to the core network equipment by the target adjacent base station.
That is, the base station (serving base station) may actively request the spectrum sharing information of the base station (neighboring base station) from another base station (neighboring base station), or may receive the spectrum sharing information of the base station (neighboring base station) actively transmitted by another base station (neighboring base station). When the base station actively requests the spectrum sharing information from other base stations, the base station may directly send the request to other base stations through an interface between the base stations (for example, an X2 interface), and a base station (a neighboring base station) receiving the request may also directly send the spectrum sharing information to the base station (a serving base station) through an interface between the base stations (for example, an X2 interface). When the base station actively requests the spectrum sharing information from other base stations, the base station can also forward the request to other base stations through network management equipment or core network equipment, and the base station (adjacent base station) receiving the request can also send the spectrum sharing information to the base station (serving base station) through the network management equipment or the core network equipment. When autonomously sending the spectrum sharing information to the base station, other base stations can directly send the spectrum sharing information to the base station (serving base station) through an interface between the base stations, and can also forward the spectrum sharing information through network management equipment or core network equipment.
