Technical Field
The present invention relates to fastening devices, and more particularly, to a fastening device for fixing a flange of a pipe.
Background
Generally, irreversible fixing means such as welding, adhesion and the like are usually used for connecting two pipes, however, if there is a possibility or need to separate two pipes again, other temporary connecting and fixing means are used, such as screwing the flanges of the two pipes to each other, or clamping and positioning the two flanges by using flange clamps, and once the two pipes are separated, the two pipes can be immediately separated.
A typical flange clip, as disclosed in US 5522625, generally includes two semicircular rings and a fixing mechanism connected between the two rings, wherein the two rings are sleeved on the two flanges to clamp the two flanges therein, and then the fixing mechanism tightens the two rings to achieve the fixing effect.
However, the shape and size of the clamping surface of such a structure depend on the inner surfaces of the two ring bodies, that is, only a flange with a specific size can be clamped by the two ring bodies, and as long as the size of the flange is larger or smaller, the ring bodies may be fixed only in a point contact manner, which is not good, and even may not be fixed at all.
Therefore, how to improve the effect of the flange clip contacting the flange and adapt to flanges with different sizes becomes an important subject in the present industry.
Disclosure of Invention
The main object of the present invention is to provide a fastening device which can reliably contact and hold flanges and is suitable for flanges of different sizes.
To achieve the above object, the present invention provides a fastening device for fastening flanges of two pipes, the fastening device including a chain component and a positioning mechanism.
The chain component comprises a plurality of connecting sheets and a plurality of pivot pieces, the connecting sheets are sequentially pivoted with the pivot pieces respectively to form a chain shape, the connecting sheet at one end of the chain component is defined as a first connecting sheet, the free end of the first connecting sheet is provided with a first pivot piece, the connecting sheet at the other end of the chain component is defined as a second connecting sheet, and the free end of the second connecting sheet is provided with a second pivot piece.
The positioning mechanism comprises a first part and a second part which are pivoted with each other, the length direction of the first connecting piece defines a first direction, the connecting line of the pivoted position of the first part and the first pivoting piece or one of the first connecting pieces to the pivoted position of the first part and the second part defines a second direction, the second part is detachably positioned to the second pivot piece, the first part can pivot and swing between a release position and a positioning position relative to the second part, when the first part is positioned at the positioning position, the second portion is positioned to the second pivot member and pulls the chain assembly taut in the first direction parallel to the second direction or at an angle of less than 180 degrees to a side away from the center of curvature of the chain assembly, when the first portion is in the release position, an included angle of more than 180 degrees is formed between the first direction and the second direction at one side far away from the curvature center of the chain component.
Preferably, the connecting pieces include a plurality of pairs of connecting pieces, each pair of connecting pieces are arranged side by side at a certain distance and are respectively connected with the adjacent connecting pieces, and each pivot piece is arranged between one pair of the connecting pieces.
Preferably, each of the pivot members is substantially in the shape of a bobbin and has a shaft portion and two end pieces located at two ends of the shaft portion, and a space between the two end pieces is used for the flange of the two pipe fittings to be embedded and abutted.

The chain assembly 10, 10 ' includes a plurality of connecting plates 11, 11 ' and a plurality of pivot members 12, the connecting plates 11, 11 ' are respectively pivoted with the pivot members 12 in sequence to form a chain, the connecting plate 11 at one end of the chain assembly 10, 10 ' is defined as a first connecting plate 111, the free end of the first connecting plate 111 has a first pivot member 1201, the connecting plate 11 at the other end of the chain assembly 10, 10 ' is defined as a second connecting plate 112, and the free end of the second connecting plate 112 has a second pivot member 1202.

Referring to fig. 5, another embodiment of the present invention is provided, wherein the connecting plate is ring-shaped and is sleeved on the pivot members at two ends thereof, and the pivot members are sequentially connected by the ring-shaped connecting plates into a chain shape.
By means of the structure, the fastening device provided by the invention can be attached to the outer edge of the flange of the pipe fitting more reliably so as to tightly joint the flange, and the chain-shaped structure has a better fixing effect compared with an annular structure.

a chain component, including plural connecting sheets and plural pivot pieces, the connecting sheets are pivoted with the pivot pieces in sequence to form a chain shape, the connecting sheet at one end of the chain component is defined as a first connecting sheet, the free end of the first connecting sheet is provided with a first pivot piece, the connecting sheet at the other end of the chain component is defined as a second connecting sheet, the free end of the second connecting sheet is provided with a second pivot piece;
a positioning mechanism including a first portion and a second portion pivotally connected to each other, the first portion is pivotally connected to one of the first pivot member or the first connecting piece, the length direction of the first connecting piece defines a first direction, a connecting line between the pivoting position of the first part and one of the first pivoting member or the first connecting sheet and the pivoting position of the first part and the second part defines a second direction, the second part is detachably positioned to the second pivot piece, the first part can pivot and swing between a release position and a positioning position relative to the second part, when the first part is positioned at the positioning position, the first direction and the second direction are parallel or form an included angle of less than 180 degrees with a side away from the curvature center of the chain component, when the first part is positioned at the releasing position, an included angle of more than 180 degrees is formed between the first direction and the second direction at one side far away from the curvature center of the chain component.
