Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, the same numbers in different drawings refer to the same or similar elements, unless otherwise indicated. The implementations described in the following exemplary examples are not representative of all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with some aspects of the present disclosure as detailed in the accompanying claims.
The technical solution provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure relates to a terminal, an access point, and a wireless controller, where the terminal may be a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, or other devices configured with a wireless connection module, which is not limited in the embodiments of the present disclosure. In the related art, when a user encounters a wireless connection problem, the user usually calls to consult a network operator, so that a worker of the network operator gives online guidance, or instructs the worker to go up to solve the wireless connection problem. However, the above solution of wireless connection requires manual operation and has low maintenance efficiency. In the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, the terminal sends the acquired network abnormal event to the wireless controller through the access point, so that the wireless controller searches the diagnosis strategy corresponding to the network abnormal event in the preset diagnosis rule, and sends the diagnosis strategy to the access point, so that the access point sends the diagnosis strategy to the terminal when determining that the diagnosis strategy is the diagnosis strategy of the terminal, and the terminal repairs the network abnormal event according to the diagnosis strategy, thereby realizing automatic repair of the network abnormal event, and having high maintenance efficiency.
The embodiment of the disclosure provides a network diagnosis method, and an execution subject for implementing the method comprises a terminal, an access point and a wireless controller. The embodiments of the present disclosure are arranged in three sets of embodiments according to the differences in the method implementation bodies, as follows:
Terminal side
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a network diagnosis method applied to a terminal according to an exemplary embodiment, and the network diagnosis method includes the following steps 101 to 104 as shown in fig. 1:
in step 101, a network anomaly event is acquired.
For example, the network anomaly event includes a radio connection failure event and a network quality difference event, and specifically obtaining the network anomaly event includes the following two methods:
in the first method, a network anomaly event is determined according to a feedback message sent by an access point.
Wherein the feedback message carries network anomaly information.
Specifically, when receiving a feedback message sent by an access point, the terminal analyzes the feedback message to obtain network anomaly information carried by the feedback message, and further determines a network anomaly event according to the network anomaly information.
For example, the network anomaly event is a radio connection failure event, for example, when the terminal connects to the radio network, related packets about the radio connection need to be transmitted between the terminal and the access point. The terminal sends a related packet related to wireless connection to the access point, if the access point does not receive the related packet within a preset time period, or does not receive other related packets after receiving the first packet, the access point sends a response message of connection failure to the terminal, wherein the response message of connection failure is a feedback message sent by the access point, the terminal analyzes the response message of connection failure after receiving the response message of connection failure, determines network connection failure, and the analyzed access point does not receive the related packet within the preset time period, or only receives the first packet and then does not receive other related packets as network abnormal events.
For example, when the access point receives a packet sent by a terminal through a certain channel, and determines that the access point does not have the same channel as the channel of the packet transmitted by the terminal, the access point determines that the access point is not matched with the channel of the terminal, and the access point sends the channel of the packet transmitted by the terminal to the terminal, namely, the access point sends a channel feedback message carrying that the access point does not have the same channel as the channel of the packet transmitted by the terminal to the terminal, and after the feedback message is analyzed by the terminal, the channel of the packet transmitted by the terminal is regarded as a network abnormal event.
For example, the network anomaly event includes a network quality difference event, for example, after the terminal is connected to the wireless network, the terminal sends an uplink packet to the access point, if the access point does not receive the uplink packet sent by the access point within a preset time, the access point sends a response message, which is sent by the access point, to the terminal, wherein the response message is a feedback message sent by the access point, if the terminal receives the response message, the response message is analyzed, so that the access point does not receive the uplink packet, and the access point does not receive the uplink packet as the network anomaly event.
And according to the second method, the terminal determines a network abnormal event according to the abnormal information of the terminal.
For example, the network anomaly event includes a network connection failure event, for example, the access point sends a related packet related to wireless connection to the terminal, and if the terminal does not receive the related packet related to wireless connection sent by the access point within a preset time, that is, the anomaly information, the terminal takes the related packet related to wireless connection sent by the access point not received by the terminal within the preset time as the network anomaly event.
For example, when the terminal receives the related packet sent by the access point and determines that the analysis of the received related packet fails, the terminal determines that the analysis of the received related packet fails as abnormal information, and the terminal takes the analysis failure of the received related packet as a network abnormal event.
For example, when the terminal verifies the identity information about the wireless connection input by the user, the identity information is verified to be abnormal, and the terminal uses the identity information about the wireless connection verified to be abnormal as a network abnormal event.
For example, when the terminal receives an encrypted message generated by using a preset encryption rule and sent by the access point, if the terminal is determined that the encrypted message cannot be identified, namely the encrypted message is abnormal information, and the terminal takes the encrypted message generated by using the preset encryption rule, which cannot be identified by the terminal, as a network abnormal event.
For example, when the terminal receives a packet sent by the access point and sent by adopting a rate in a preset rate set, if the terminal is determined to not support the rate, the terminal does not support the rate, namely, abnormal information is obtained, and the terminal takes the rate which the terminal does not support the access point as a network abnormal event.
For example, the network anomaly event includes a network quality difference event, for example, when the terminal does not acquire the channel access right for transmitting the uplink packet when transmitting the uplink packet to the access point after connecting to the wireless network, the terminal does not acquire the channel access right for transmitting the uplink packet is the anomaly information, and at this time, the terminal takes the channel access right for transmitting the uplink packet not acquired by the terminal as the network anomaly event.
For example, if the terminal does not receive the response message of the uplink packet sent by the access point within the preset time, the terminal determines that the retransmission of the uplink packet to the access point fails, the retransmission of the uplink packet to the access point is an abnormal message, and the terminal retransmits the retransmission of the uplink packet to the access point as a network abnormal event.
For example, if the terminal does not receive the response message of the uplink packet sent by the access point within the preset time, the response message of the uplink packet sent by the access point is not received, that is, the abnormal information, and the terminal takes the response message of the uplink packet, which is not received by the access point within the preset time, as the network abnormal event.
For example, after the terminal is connected to the wireless network, the access point sends a downlink packet to the terminal, if the terminal does not receive the downlink packet within a preset time, the downlink packet is not received and is used as abnormal information, and the terminal takes the downlink packet which is not received by the terminal within the preset time as a network abnormal event; if the terminal receives the downlink packet within the preset time, when the frame check sequence in the downlink packet is abnormal when the downlink packet is analyzed, the terminal determines that the frame check sequence in the downlink packet is abnormal as a network abnormal event.
In step 102, the network abnormal event is sent to an access point, so that the access point sends the network abnormal event to a wireless controller, when a diagnosis strategy corresponding to the network abnormal event is found in a preset diagnosis rule, the wireless controller sends the diagnosis strategy to the access point, and when the access point determines that the diagnosis strategy is the diagnosis strategy of the terminal, the access point sends the diagnosis strategy to the terminal.
Wherein the diagnostic strategy is used for repairing the network abnormal event.
When the terminal acquires a network abnormal event, the terminal can send the network abnormal event to the access point through a management frame of the terminal because the terminal and the access point do not establish network connection; or under the condition that the terminal fails to establish the network with the access point, the terminal receives an abnormal report request sent by the access point through a management frame of the access point, and at the moment, the terminal sends the network abnormal event to the access point through the management frame of the terminal.
The method comprises the steps that when a terminal acquires a network abnormal event, the network abnormal event is stored, and when the terminal is successfully connected again after network connection between the terminal and an access point fails, the stored network abnormal event is sent to the access point through a first data packet; or when the terminal and the access point are in a network connection state, the terminal receives an abnormal report request sent by the access point, and then sends the stored network abnormal event to the access point through a first data packet, wherein the first data packet is an encapsulation packet for bearing the network abnormal event.
For example, when a network anomaly event is transmitted, the terminal transmits according to a preset format, as shown in table 1.
TABLE 1
The Source BSSID indicates the MAC address of the terminal, the Target BSSID indicates the MAC address of the access point, the Transition Time indicates the occurrence Time of the network abnormal event, transition Reason indicates that the terminal requests to connect to the access point, transition Result indicates that the wireless connection fails, source RCPI indicates the received channel power parameter of the terminal, source RSNI indicates the received signal noise indicator of the terminal, target RCPI indicates the received channel power parameter of the access point, and Target RSNI indicates the received signal noise indicator of the access point.
In step 103, a diagnostic policy sent by the access point is received.
In step 104, repairing the network abnormal event according to the diagnosis strategy.
The embodiment of the disclosure provides a network diagnosis method, a terminal sends an acquired network abnormal event to a wireless controller through an access point, so that the wireless controller searches a diagnosis strategy corresponding to the network abnormal event in a preset diagnosis rule, and sends the diagnosis strategy to the access point, so that the access point sends the diagnosis strategy to the terminal when determining that the diagnosis strategy is the diagnosis strategy of the terminal, and the terminal repairs the network abnormal event according to the diagnosis strategy, thereby realizing automatic repair of the network abnormal event, and having high maintenance efficiency.
Wireless controller side
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a network diagnosis method applied to a wireless controller according to an exemplary embodiment, and as shown in fig. 2, the network diagnosis method includes the following steps 201 to 204:
in step 201, a network anomaly event is received.
In step 202, searching whether a diagnosis strategy corresponding to the network abnormal event exists in a preset diagnosis rule; the preset diagnosis rules comprise the corresponding relation between the network abnormal event and the diagnosis strategy.
Wherein the diagnostic strategy is used for repairing the network abnormal event.
The wireless controller stores preset diagnosis rules in advance, wherein the preset diagnosis rules comprise the corresponding relation between network abnormal events and diagnosis strategies, the diagnosis strategies are specific processing methods formulated by research personnel according to the network abnormal events, before the preset diagnosis rules are formed, the research personnel can collect network abnormal events frequently encountered by users, formulate corresponding diagnosis strategies for each network abnormal event, store the network abnormal events in a one-to-one correspondence mode, and finally form the preset diagnosis rules; when the wireless controller receives a network abnormal event, whether a diagnosis strategy corresponding to the network abnormal event exists or not is required to be searched in a preset diagnosis rule.
By way of example, the diagnostic strategy includes the following:
if the network abnormal event is that the access point does not receive the related packet within the preset time period or does not receive other related packets after receiving the first packet, the corresponding diagnosis strategy is to start the automatic anti-interference function of the access point.
If the network abnormal event is that the access point does not receive the uplink packet, the corresponding diagnosis strategy is to start the automatic anti-interference function of the access point.
If the network abnormal event is that the terminal does not receive the related packet about the wireless connection sent by the access point within the preset time, the corresponding diagnosis strategy is to increase the transmitting power of the access point.
If the network abnormal event is failure in analysis of the received related packets, the corresponding diagnosis strategy is to increase the transmitting power of the access point, or reduce the transmitting rate of the access point management frame, or when the transmitting power of the access point is increased, the transmitting rate of the access point management frame needs to be reduced.
If the network abnormal event is that the terminal verifies the identity information related to the wireless connection in error, the corresponding diagnosis strategy is the reason for controlling the access point to send the identity information verification error to the terminal.
If the network anomaly event is that the access point does not have the same channel as the channel of the terminal transmitting the packet, the corresponding diagnostic policy is a program code for configuring the access point with the same channel as the channel of the terminal transmitting the packet.
If the network abnormal event is that the terminal cannot identify the encrypted message generated by adopting the preset encryption rule, the corresponding diagnosis strategy is to configure program codes related to the preset encryption rule for the terminal.
If the network abnormal event is that the terminal does not support the rate adopted by the access point, the corresponding diagnosis strategy is program code for configuring the rate adopted by the access point for the terminal.
If the network abnormal event is that the terminal does not acquire the channel access right for transmitting the uplink packet, the corresponding diagnosis strategy is to control the access point to broadcast a silence frame, wherein the silence frame carries the MAC address of the terminal except for the abnormal event of the transmission network; or the corresponding diagnosis strategy is to control the access point to switch to the channel with less interference, and enable the access point to inform the terminal to synchronously switch to the channel with less interference.
If the network abnormal event is that the terminal does not receive the response message of the uplink packet sent by the access point within the preset time, the corresponding diagnosis strategy is to increase the transmitting power of the access point.
If the network abnormal event is that the terminal does not receive the downlink packet within the preset time, the corresponding diagnosis strategy is to increase the transmitting power of the access point.
If the network abnormal event is that the terminal determines that the frame check sequence in the downlink packet is abnormal, and the abnormality is an abnormality caused by the transmission of the access point itself, the corresponding diagnosis strategy is to configure a program code for upgrading the transmission module for transmitting the downlink packet for the access point.
It should be noted that, according to whether the result of searching for the diagnostic policy corresponding to the network abnormal event in the preset diagnostic rule is different, the following executed steps are different, and when the diagnostic policy corresponding to the network abnormal event is found in the preset diagnostic rule, step 303 is executed; and when the diagnosis strategy corresponding to the network abnormal event is not found in the preset diagnosis rules, executing step 304.
In step 203, when a diagnosis policy corresponding to the network abnormal event is found in a preset diagnosis rule, the diagnosis policy is sent to an access point, so that the access point repairs the network abnormal event according to the diagnosis policy when determining that the diagnosis policy is the diagnosis policy of the access point, and when determining that the diagnosis policy is the diagnosis policy of the terminal, the diagnosis policy is sent to the terminal, so that the terminal repairs the network abnormal event according to the diagnosis policy.
If the wireless controller finds that the diagnosis policy corresponding to the network abnormal event exists in the preset diagnosis rule, judging whether the network abnormal event is the network abnormal event of the access point or the network abnormal event of the terminal according to the MAC address carried in the network abnormal event, if the network abnormal event is the network abnormal event of the access point, adding the MAC address of the access point into the corresponding diagnosis policy, if the network abnormal event is the network abnormal event of the terminal, adding the MAC address of the terminal into the corresponding diagnosis policy, and sending the diagnosis policy added with the MAC address to the access point, so that the access point determines whether the diagnosis policy of the access point or the diagnosis policy of the terminal according to the MAC address when receiving the diagnosis policy.
In step 204, when the diagnosis policy corresponding to the network abnormal event is not found in the preset diagnosis rule, the network abnormal event is stored, so as to make a corresponding diagnosis policy for the network abnormal event.
When the diagnosis strategy corresponding to the network abnormal event is not found in the preset diagnosis rules, the wireless controller indicates that the diagnosis strategy corresponding to the network abnormal event is not stored in the wireless controller, the network abnormal event is stored at the moment, a later-stage research staff can conveniently formulate the corresponding diagnosis strategy for the stored network abnormal event, the network abnormal event and the corresponding diagnosis strategy are correspondingly stored in the preset diagnosis rules, and the wireless controller can conveniently find the diagnosis strategy corresponding to the network abnormal event in the preset diagnosis rules when receiving the network abnormal event next time.
The embodiment of the disclosure provides a network diagnosis method, when an access point receives a network abnormal event sent by a terminal, the access point sends the network abnormal event to a wireless controller, so that the wireless controller searches a diagnosis strategy corresponding to the network abnormal event in a preset diagnosis rule and sends the diagnosis strategy to the access point, and when the access point determines that the diagnosis strategy is the diagnosis strategy of the access point, the access point repairs the network abnormal event according to the diagnosis strategy; when the access point determines that the diagnosis strategy is the diagnosis strategy of the terminal, the diagnosis strategy is sent to the terminal, and the terminal repairs the network abnormal event according to the diagnosis strategy, so that the automatic repair of the network abnormal event is realized, and the maintenance efficiency is high.
Access point side
Fig. 3a is a flow chart illustrating a network diagnosis method according to an exemplary embodiment, which is applied to an access point, as shown in fig. 3a, and which includes the following steps 301 to 305:
in step 301, a network anomaly event transmitted by a terminal is received.
In step 302, the network abnormal event is sent to a wireless controller, so that when the wireless controller finds that a diagnosis strategy corresponding to the network abnormal event exists in a preset diagnosis rule, the diagnosis strategy is sent to the access point.
Wherein the diagnostic strategy is used for repairing the network abnormal event.
In step 303, a diagnostic policy sent by the wireless controller is received.
When receiving a diagnosis strategy sent by a wireless controller, an access point determines attribution of the diagnosis strategy according to an MAC address carried by the diagnosis strategy, and if the diagnosis strategy is carried by the MAC address of the access point, the diagnosis strategy is determined to be the diagnosis strategy of the access point; if the diagnosis strategy carries the MAC address of the terminal, determining the diagnosis strategy as the diagnosis strategy of the terminal.
It should be noted that, according to the determination result of the diagnostic policy, the access point performs different steps, and when the diagnostic policy is determined to be the diagnostic policy of the access point, step 204; upon determining that the diagnostic strategy is that of the terminal, step 205 is performed.
In step 304, when the diagnosis policy is determined to be the diagnosis policy of the access point, repairing the network abnormal event according to the diagnosis policy.
If the network abnormal event is that the access point does not receive the related packet within the preset time period, and the corresponding diagnosis policy is to start the automatic anti-interference function of the access point, the access point automatically starts the automatic anti-interference function of the access point when receiving the diagnosis policy, and the access point automatically adjusts the anti-noise level according to the surrounding signal environment to offset the surrounding radio frequency interference, so that the surrounding interference of the access point is smaller, and the related packet about wireless connection sent by the terminal can be normally received.
For example, if the network abnormal event is that the access point does not receive the uplink packet, the corresponding diagnosis policy is to start the automatic anti-interference function of the access point, and when the access point receives the diagnosis policy, the access point automatically starts the automatic anti-interference function of the access point, and the access point automatically adjusts the anti-noise level according to the surrounding signal environment to offset the surrounding radio frequency interference, so that the surrounding interference of the access point is smaller, and the uplink packet can be normally received.
If the network abnormal event is that the terminal does not receive the related packet related to the wireless connection sent by the access point within the preset time, the corresponding diagnosis policy is to increase the transmitting power of the access point, when the access point receives the diagnosis policy, the transmitting power is automatically increased, and the increased transmitting power is adopted to transmit the related packet related to the wireless connection, so that the transmission distance of the related packet is longer, and the transmission signal is strong, and therefore the terminal can receive the related packet related to the wireless connection sent by the access point.
If the network abnormal event is failure in analyzing the received related packets, the corresponding diagnosis policy is to increase the transmitting power of the access point, and the access point automatically increases the transmitting power when receiving the diagnosis policy, and transmits the related packets related to the wireless connection by adopting the increased transmitting power, so that the transmission distance of the related packets is longer, and the transmission signal is strong, thereby ensuring that the received related packets are correct, and further, the analysis can be successfully performed.
For example, if the network abnormal event is that the terminal makes an error in verifying the identity information about the wireless connection, the corresponding diagnosis policy is that the access point is controlled to send the reason of the error in verifying the identity information to the terminal, and then when the access point receives the diagnosis policy, the access point sends the reason of the error in verifying the identity information to the terminal, so that when the terminal receives the reason of the error in verifying the identity information sent by the access point, the reason of the error in verifying the identity information is displayed, and the user can obtain the specific reason of the error in verifying.
For example, if the network abnormal event is that the access point does not have the same channel as the channel of the terminal transmitting the packet, the corresponding diagnostic policy is to configure a program code of the same channel as the channel of the terminal transmitting the packet for the access point, and after receiving the program code, the access point operates the program code to configure the same channel as the channel of the terminal transmitting the packet for the access point, so that the access point matches with the channel adopted by the terminal.
For example, if the network abnormal event is that the terminal does not acquire the channel access right of sending the uplink packet, the corresponding diagnosis policy is to control the access point to switch to the channel with smaller interference, and when the access point receives the diagnosis policy, the access point switches the adopted signal to the channel with smaller interference and notifies the terminal to synchronously switch to the channel with smaller interference.
If the network abnormal event is that the terminal does not receive the downlink packet within the preset time, the corresponding diagnosis strategy is to increase the transmitting power of the access point, when the access point receives the diagnosis strategy, the transmitting power is automatically increased, and the increased transmitting power is adopted to transmit the downlink packet, so that the transmission distance of the downlink packet is longer, the transmission signal is strong, and the terminal can receive the downlink packet transmitted by the access point.
For example, if the network abnormal event is that the terminal determines that the frame check sequence in the downlink packet is abnormal, and the abnormality is that caused by the sending of the access point itself, the corresponding diagnostic policy is that the access point configures a program code for upgrading the sending module for sending the downlink packet, and when the access point receives the diagnostic policy, the access point operates the program code, so that the sending module of the access point is upgraded, and the downlink packet sent by the access point is ensured to be accurate.
In step 305, when the diagnosis policy is determined to be the diagnosis policy of the terminal, the diagnosis policy is sent to the terminal, so that the terminal repairs the network abnormal event according to the diagnosis policy.
For example, if the network abnormal event is that the terminal cannot identify the encrypted message generated by using the preset encryption rule, the corresponding diagnosis policy is to configure a program code related to the preset encryption rule for the terminal, and after receiving the program code, the access point forwards the program code to the terminal, and the terminal runs the program code to configure the preset encryption rule for the terminal, so that the terminal can identify the encrypted message generated by using the preset encryption rule.
For example, if the network abnormal event is that the terminal does not support the rate adopted by the access point, the corresponding diagnostic policy is to configure a program code of the rate adopted by the access point for the terminal, after receiving the program code, the access point forwards the program code to the terminal, and the terminal operates the program code to configure the rate adopted by the access point for the terminal, so that the rate adopted by the access point and the terminal are matched.
For example, if the network abnormal event is that the terminal does not acquire the channel access right of sending the uplink packet, the corresponding diagnosis policy is that the control access point broadcasts the silence frame, and when the access point receives the diagnosis policy, the access point broadcasts the silence frame, so that after receiving the silence frame, the terminal sending the network abnormal event determines that other terminals temporarily stop sending the packet when receiving the silence frame, and the terminal sending the network abnormal event can acquire the channel access right of sending the uplink packet.
It should be noted that, as shown in fig. 3b, before performing step 301, step 306 or step 307 is further included.
In step 306, an exception reporting request is sent to the terminal through a management frame of the access point.
For example, in the case that the access point fails to establish a network connection with the terminal, the access point may send an exception reporting request to the terminal through a management frame of the access point, so that when the terminal receives the exception reporting request, the terminal feeds back a network exception event to the access point through the management frame of the terminal.
In step 307, when the access point and the terminal are in a network connection state, an exception reporting request is sent to the terminal through a second data packet.
The second data packet is an encapsulation packet for carrying an abnormal report request.
For example, when the access point performs network connection with the terminal or after the network connection is successful, and when it is determined that the network quality is poor, an exception reporting request is sent to the terminal, so that when the terminal receives the exception reporting request, a network exception event is fed back to the access point.
Fig. 4a is an interactive diagram of a network diagnosis method, in which a repair entity is a terminal, an access point and a wireless controller, according to an exemplary embodiment, as shown in fig. 4a, including the following steps 401a to 409a:

In step 408a, the access point sends the diagnostic policy to the terminal when determining that the diagnostic policy is the diagnostic policy of the terminal; the terminal receives the diagnostic strategy.
