Description

Matching grinding method suitable for ball-head type connecting rod
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of ball-head type connecting rod manufacturing, in particular to a matching grinding method suitable for a ball-head type connecting rod.
Background
The types of connecting rods used in stamping machines are mainly ball-end type connecting rods and pin-type connecting rods. The ball-head type connecting rod has the characteristics of compact structure, stable and reliable force transmission, large force transmission load and the like, and is more and more widely applied. In recent years, the development trend of high speed and heavy load of a punching machine is more obvious, and higher requirements are put forward on a ball-head type connecting rod. In the actual stamping process, the ball head type connecting rod bears the actual load of a die, and in order to ensure that the ball head or the ball bowl is not deformed in the long-term stamping work and the long-term stability of the bottom dead center precision of a machine tool, higher requirements are provided for the surface contact rate of the ball head and the ball bowl.
In the prior art, a ball head and a ball bowl respectively complete grinding operation on different stations. The surface precision of the ball head or the ball bowl can meet high requirements after grinding. In the assembling process of the ball head type connecting rod, the ball heads and the ball bowls need to be assembled in groups. However, through practical detection, most of the ball-head type connecting rods cannot meet the use requirement (the surface contact rate between the ball head and the ball bowl is less than 98 percent), which is specifically represented as follows: the bulb rotates very hard for the ball bowl to inevitably increase the wearing and tearing rate of bulb and ball bowl, reduced its life, and the later stage need invest in a large amount of manpower, material resources and maintain the bulb formula connecting rod. Thus, a skilled person is urgently needed to solve the above problems.

Therefore, in view of the above-mentioned problems and drawbacks, the present inventors have collected relevant information, evaluated and considered in many ways, and continuously performed experiments and improvements by skilled technicians engaged in the industry for years of research and development experience, which finally resulted in the development of a grinding method for a ball-end connecting rod.
In order to solve the technical problem, the invention relates to a matching and grinding method suitable for a ball head type connecting rod. The ball bowl is placed and fixed on the grinding fixture to cooperate with the ball head to execute the matching grinding process.
The matching grinding method suitable for the ball-head type connecting rod comprises the following steps of:
a. putting the ball head into the ball bowl;
b. putting an abrasive into the ball bowl; in the grinding process, the ball head and the ball bowl are always separated by the grinding agent; grinding pressure is always kept between the ball head and the ball bowl;
c. and after the grinding process is finished, detecting the surface contact rate between the ball head and the ball bowl.
As a further improvement of the disclosed solution, in step b, the grinding process is composed of a rough grinding process and a finish grinding process. After a rough grinding period, the surface contact rate between the ball head and the ball bowl is detected, and when the surface contact rate is less than 95%, the rough grinding period is repeated until the surface contact rate is qualified. When the surface contact rate is more than or equal to 95 percent, the ball head and the ball bowl enter a fine grinding period, and the time is not less than 30 min.
As a further improvement of the technical scheme disclosed by the invention, the grinding agent comprises a primary grinding agent and a secondary grinding agent which are respectively applied to the coarse grinding process and the fine grinding process. In the course of coarse grinding, the grinding pressure is controlled at 0.2-0.4 MPa; and in the fine grinding process, the grinding pressure is controlled to be 0.04-0.1 MPa.
As a further improvement of the technical means disclosed in the present invention, the primary grinding agent is preferably any one of corundum, silicon carbide, boron carbide, or synthetic diamond.
As a further improvement of the technical means disclosed in the present invention, the secondary polishing agent is preferably any one of iron oxide, chromium oxide, or cerium oxide.
As a further improvement of the technical scheme disclosed by the invention, if the outer diameter of the ball head is a and the inner diameter of the ball bowl is b, a is larger than b.
As a further improvement of the technical scheme disclosed by the invention, a step d is arranged after the step c. The concrete content of the step d is as follows: and wiping the grinding surfaces of the ball head and the ball bowl by using alcohol or acetone.
As a further improvement of the technical scheme disclosed by the invention, a step c1 is additionally arranged between the step c and the step d. The concrete content of the step c1 is as follows: the ball head and the ball bowl respectively enter a polishing procedure to polish the grinding surface of the ball head and the ball bowl.
As a further improvement of the technical scheme disclosed by the invention, the polishing process comprises a primary polishing process realized by a wool felt polishing wheel and a secondary polishing process realized by metal polishing paste.
Compared with the traditional ball head type connecting rod grinding method, in the technical scheme disclosed by the invention, the ball head and the ball bowl matched with the ball head are ground and formed at the same station by adopting a matched grinding mode, the grinding efficiency is higher, and the surface contact rate between the ball head and the ball bowl after the ball head type connecting rod is assembled is ensured. In addition, it should be noted that in the grinding process, a certain grinding pressure is applied between the ball head and the ball bowl to simulate the stress state and the mutual matching state of the ball head and the ball bowl during actual application, so that the final grinding result is better suitable for the working condition, and the ball head type connecting rod is further ensured to have higher stability and longer service life in the actual application process.

Fig. 1 is a schematic layout diagram of a first embodiment of a lapping method applied to a ball-type connecting rod according to the present invention.
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a grinding process of a first embodiment of a lapping method for a ball-head connecting rod according to the present invention.
Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of a grinding process of a second embodiment of the lapping method for a ball-head connecting rod according to the present invention.
Detailed Description
The present invention will be described in further detail with reference to specific examples. The bulb-type connecting rod comprises a bulb and a ball bowl. Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram illustrating a fitting and grinding method for a ball-head type connecting rod according to the present invention, wherein a ball bowl is placed and fixed on a grinding fixture to cooperate with a ball head to perform a fitting and grinding process.
The matching grinding method suitable for the ball-head type connecting rod comprises the following steps of:
a. putting the ball head into the ball bowl;
b. putting an abrasive into the ball bowl; in the grinding process, the ball head and the ball bowl are always separated by the grinding agent; grinding pressure is always kept between the ball head and the ball bowl;
c. and after the grinding process is finished, detecting the surface contact rate between the ball head and the ball bowl.
The matching grinding method suitable for the ball-head type connecting rod has the following beneficial effects: 1) the ball head and the ball bowl matched with the ball head are ground and formed at the same station by adopting a matching grinding mode, the grinding efficiency is higher, and the surface contact rate between the ball head and the ball bowl after the ball head type connecting rod is assembled is ensured; 2) certain grinding pressure is applied between the ball head and the ball bowl to simulate the stress state and the mutual matching state of the ball head and the ball bowl during actual application, so that the final grinding result is better suitable for the working condition, and the ball head type connecting rod is ensured to have higher stability and service life in the actual application process.
In the step b, the grinding process preferably includes a rough grinding process and a finish grinding process, in view of further improving the surface contact rate between the ball head and the ball bowl. In the actual grinding process, after a rough grinding period, the surface contact rate between the ball head and the ball bowl is detected, and when the surface contact rate is less than 95%, the rough grinding period is repeated until the surface contact rate is qualified. When the surface contact rate is more than or equal to 95%, the ball head and the ball bowl enter a fine grinding period, and the time is not less than 30min, so that the final surface contact rate is more than or equal to 98%.
Generally, the polishing slurry is applied to the rough grinding process and the finish grinding process, and the types of the polishing slurry applied are different, i.e., a primary polishing slurry and a secondary polishing slurry. The primary abrasive is preferably any one of corundum, silicon carbide, boron carbide, or synthetic diamond; the secondary polishing agent is preferably any of iron oxide, chromium oxide, or cerium oxide.
It is known that abrasives all have a certain compressive strength limit. When the applied pressure exceeds the limit of compressive strength, the abrasive is crushed to make its particle size fine, thereby lowering the grinding ability and grinding rate. In view of the above, it is also necessary to control the above-mentioned grinding pressure, more specifically: in the course of coarse grinding, the grinding pressure is controlled at 0.2-0.4 MPa; and in the fine grinding process, the grinding pressure is controlled to be 0.04-0.1 MPa.
And d, setting a step d after the step c for reliably protecting the grinding surface and avoiding the subsequent oxidation phenomenon. The concrete content of the step d is as follows: and wiping the grinding surfaces of the ball head and the ball bowl by using alcohol or acetone.
In the actual grinding process, the grinding agent is more or less embedded on the grinding surface of the ball head or the ball bowl, which further causes inconvenience for subsequent assembly and subsequent anti-oxidation treatment processes, and therefore, a step c1 may be added between the step c and the step d. The concrete content of the step c1 is as follows: the ball head and the ball bowl respectively enter a polishing procedure to polish the grinding surface of the ball head and the ball bowl.
The polishing process is divided into a primary polishing process realized by a wool felt polishing wheel and a secondary polishing process realized by metal polishing paste.
However, it should be noted that when the outer diameter of the ball head and the diameter of the ball bowl are completely consistent, the tooth ball is already in contact with the bottom of the ball bowl before grinding, the ball bowl may be expanded to not completely wrap the tooth ball during pre-pressing, and the center of the tooth ball may be irregularly displaced during grinding, which may result in failure of grinding (as shown in fig. 2).
In order to solve the above technical problems, fig. 3 shows a schematic diagram of a grinding process of a second embodiment of the method for lapping a ball-head type connecting rod according to the present invention, which is different from the first embodiment in that the outer diameter of the ball head is slightly larger than the inner diameter of the ball bowl, and a > b is assumed that the outer diameter of the ball head is a and the inner diameter of the ball bowl is b. In the initial stage of placing the ball head into the ball bowl, the ball head and the ball bowl cannot be completely attached (a certain gap is left at the bottom of the ball head); the axial displacement of the ball head is kept unchanged, when the ball bowl is acted by a certain abutting force, the ball bowl generates a certain self-adaptive elastic deformation amount to completely wrap the ball head, and the fact that a better surface contact rate exists between the finally ground ball head and the ball bowl is ensured.
The previous description of the disclosed embodiments is provided to enable any person skilled in the art to make or use the present invention. Various modifications to these embodiments will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art, and the generic principles defined herein may be applied to other embodiments without departing from the spirit or scope of the invention. Thus, the present invention is not intended to be limited to the embodiments shown herein but is to be accorded the widest scope consistent with the principles and novel features disclosed herein.
