Compared with a liquid crystal display panel, the organic light emitting diode display panel is thinner, lower in power consumption, fast in response, high in contrast, more suitable for flexible products and more capable of meeting the requirements of users.
However, the product yield of the oled display panel is easily affected by the yields of the driving back plate and the light emitting device, so that when the driving back plate or the light emitting device is defective, the whole display panel is scrapped, and the production cost is increased.

As shown in fig. 1, the conventional display panel sequentially includes, from bottom to top, a substrate 111, a pixel defining layer 112, an anode 113, a hole injection layer 114, a hole transport layer 115, a light emitting layer 116, an electron transport layer 117, an electron injection layer 118, and a cathode 119, and further includes a capping layer, an encapsulation layer, a filling adhesive layer, a cover plate 101, and further includes a first sealant 102 and a second sealant 103.
The base 111 includes a substrate base and a switch array layer including a plurality of switching elements, and further. The first sealant 102 and the second sealant 103 are disposed between the cover plate 101 and the substrate 111. That is, in the conventional display panel, a light emitting layer is formed on a switch array layer.

As shown in fig. 2, the display panel 100 includes a driving substrate 10 and a body substrate 20.
Wherein the driving substrate 10 includes: a first substrate 11 and a driving part 12, wherein the driving part 12 is arranged on a first side of the first substrate 11.
The material of the first substrate 11 includes one or more of glass, silicon dioxide, polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polylactic acid, polyethylene terephthalate, polyimide, and polyurethane.
In one embodiment, with reference to fig. 3, the driving unit 12 includes: a switch array layer 121 and at least one first electrode 122, the switch array layer 121 being disposed on a first side of the first substrate 11, the switch array layer 121 including at least one transistor; the first side is a side close to the main body substrate 20; the first electrode 122 is disposed on a first side of the switch array layer 121, and the first electrode 122 is connected to the drain of the transistor. The first electrode 122 may be an anode.
In one embodiment, the switch array layer 121 includes a light-shielding layer 31, a buffer layer 32, a semiconductor layer 33, a gate insulating layer 34, a gate electrode 35, a first insulating layer 36, a second metal layer 37, a second insulating layer 38, and a planarization layer 39. The second metal layer 37 includes a source electrode and a drain electrode. Furthermore, the light shielding layer 31 may include a first electrode plate 312, and the semiconductor layer includes a second electrode plate 331, a capacitor is formed between the first electrode plate 312 and the second electrode plate 331, and the drain electrode may be connected to the light shielding portion of the light shielding layer 31. Of course, it is understood that the structure of the switch array layer 121 is not limited thereto. The switch array layer 121 may further include a color resistance layer 39 ', and the color resistance layer 39' is disposed between the second insulating layer 38 and the planarization layer 39. The material of the semiconductor layer 33 includes at least one of IGZO, IGZTO, and ITZO. The material of the gate insulating layer 34 may include SiO2SiNx and Al2O3One or more of (a). The materials of the first insulating layer 36, the second insulating layer 38, and the planarization layer 39 may be the same as the material of the gate insulating layer 34. The material of the gate electrode 35 and the second metal layer 37 may each include at least one of copper, molybdenum, titanium, and aluminum.
Returning to fig. 2, the body substrate 20 includes: a second substrate 21, at least two limiting parts 22 and a display part 23 which are arranged at intervals, wherein the limiting parts 32 are arranged on the second side of the second substrate 21; the second side is a side close to the driving substrate 10; the display part 23 is positioned at the gap between two adjacent limiting parts 22; the driving unit 12 is configured to drive the display unit 23.
In one embodiment, the display unit 23 includes: at least one second electrode 231 and at least one light emitting layer 234, wherein the second electrode 231 is disposed on the second side of the second substrate 21, and the second electrode 231 corresponds to the first electrode 122; the second side is a side close to the driving substrate 10; at least one light-emitting layer 234 is provided on a second side of the second electrode 231, and the light-emitting layer 234 is in contact with the first electrode 122.
In another embodiment, the display portion 23 further includes an electron injection layer 232, an electron transport layer 233, a hole transport layer 235, and a hole injection layer 236. In this embodiment, the hole injection layer 236 abuts the first electrode 122.
In one embodiment, in order to facilitate the bonding of the driving substrate and the display substrate to ensure that the display panel can work normally, the sum of the thickness of the driving portion 12 and the thickness of the display portion 23 is greater than the thickness of the limiting portion 22. Of course, in other embodiments, the sum of the thickness of the driving portion 12 and the thickness of the display portion 23 may be equal to the thickness of the defining portion 22.
In one embodiment, in order to simplify the manufacturing process, the driving substrate 10 and the main substrate 20 are bonded by a sealant 13, and the position of the sealant 13 corresponds to the position of the limiting portion 22. In one embodiment, the colloid 113 may be disposed on the driving substrate 10 or under the body substrate 20.
In one embodiment, in order to further improve the display effect, the sum of the thickness of the limiting portion 22 and the thickness of the colloid 13 is equal to the sum of the thickness of the display portion 23 and the thickness of the driving portion 12. In one embodiment, to avoid color mixing, the thickness of the defining part 22 is greater than that of the display part 23, and the height of the top of the colloid 13 is less than that of the top of the driving part 12. The thickness here is also the height.
In another embodiment, as shown in fig. 4, a first encapsulation film 14 is provided between the first substrate base plate 11 and the driving portion 12; the first packaging film 14 has a first cavity (not shown), and the driving portion 12 is located in the first cavity;
a second encapsulation film 24 is arranged between the second substrate base plate 21 and the limiting part 22 and between the second substrate base plate and the display part 23; the second packaging film 24 has a second cavity (not shown), and the display portion 23 and the limiting portion 22 are located in the second cavity;
the first encapsulation film 14 and the second encapsulation film 24 cooperate to encapsulate the driving portion 12 and the display portion 234, that is, after the driving substrate and the main substrate are assembled, the first encapsulation film 14 and the second encapsulation film 24 form a closed space to encapsulate the driving portion 12 and the display portion 23, so as to improve the service life of the display panel. In one embodiment, the first packaging film 14 and the second packaging film 24 are spaced apart from each other, and the first packaging film 14 and the second packaging film 24 are bonded together by a glue. Of course, the sealing manner of the first encapsulation film 14 and the second encapsulation film 24 is not limited thereto.
The first packaging film 14 includes two first sub-portions 141 and a second sub-portion 142, two ends of the second sub-portion 142 are respectively connected to one end of one of the first sub-portions 141, and the second sub-portion 142 is perpendicular to the first sub-portions 141. The structure of the second encapsulation film 24 is the same, and is not described in detail here.
The structure of the first encapsulating film 14 can be a stacked structure of inorganic layers and organic layers, and the structure of the second encapsulating film 24 is the same, and is not described herein again.
It should be understood that fig. 2-4 are only exemplary and should not be construed as limiting the present invention.
As shown in fig. 5, the present embodiment further provides a display screen 200, which includes any one of the display panels 100, and the display screen may further include a touch layer 120. In one embodiment, the touch layer 120 may be disposed above the flexible display panel, but the disposing manner of the touch layer 120 is not limited thereto.
Referring to fig. 6, fig. 6 is a schematic structural diagram of an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The electronic device 300 may include a display screen 200, control circuitry 60, and a housing 70. It should be noted that the electronic device 300 shown in fig. 6 is not limited to the above, and may further include other devices, such as a camera, an antenna structure, a thread unlocking module, and the like.

In some embodiments, the display 200 may be fixed to the housing 70, and the display 200 and the housing 70 form a closed space to accommodate the control circuit 60 and the like.

the display part is positioned at the gap between two adjacent limiting parts; the driving part is used for driving the display part.

the sum of the thickness of the driving part and the thickness of the display part is greater than the thickness of the defining part.
3. The display panel according to claim 1, wherein the driving substrate and the main substrate are bonded by a sealant, and the sealant is located at a position corresponding to the position of the limiting portion.
