The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below do not represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
In the related art, a volume key, a screen lock key, and other structures of an electronic device such as a mobile phone are generally provided on a center frame of the electronic device. The volume keys and the screen locking keys occupy the width of the middle frame, and the thickness and the width of the middle frame need to be increased to ensure the structural strength due to frequent pressing operation of the keys in the using process of a user. Therefore, the thickness of the electronic device is increased by the middle frame structure, but the appearance effect and the user experience of the electronic device are influenced.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a partially assembled structure of a key assembly and a middle frame of an electronic device according to an exemplary embodiment of the disclosure; fig. 2 is a schematic partial cross-sectional structure diagram of an electronic device in an exemplary embodiment of the disclosure. As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the electronic device 1 includes: a screen assembly 13, a middle frame 11 and a key assembly 12. The key assembly 12 includes a key cap 121 and a trigger 122. The middle frame 11 includes a main body 111 and a support portion 112, the main body 111 is assembled and matched with the edge of the screen assembly 13, and the support portion 112 is disposed inside the electronic device 1. In the thickness direction of the electronic device 1, the width of the main body 111 matches the width of the top 1211 of the key cap 121, the main body 111 is provided with a notch 1111 matching the top 1211 of the key cap 121, the key cap 121 is movably matched with the supporting part 112, and the top 1211 of the key cap is assembled in the notch 1111. When the key cap 121 is forced to move along the notch 1111, the key cap 121 simultaneously moves relative to the supporting portion 112 to press against or move away from the trigger 122 disposed inside the electronic device 1.
The key cap 121 further includes a key cap bottom 1212 connected to the key cap top 1211, and during the assembling process of the key cap and the middle frame 11, the key cap top 1211 can be matched with the notch 1111, and the key cap bottom 1212 is matched with the supporting portion 112, so that the key cap 121 obtains a balanced and stable assembling relationship, and the stability of the key cap 121 when moving relative to the notch 1111 and the supporting portion 112 is improved.
By providing the main body 111 and the supporting portion 112 for the middle frame 11 of the electronic device 1, such that the top 1211 of the key cap fits into the notch 1111 of the main body 111, the key cap 121 is movably engaged with the supporting portion 112 inside the electronic device 1. Since the support 112 arranged inside the electronic device 1 provides a force-bearing support for the key cap 121, the width of the main body portion 111 may be reduced to match the width of the main body portion 111 to the width of the key cap top 1211, i.e. the notch 1111 is arranged as a broken opening in the main body portion 111. The structural arrangement not only improves the structural strength of the middle frame 11, but also reduces the width of the main body part 111 of the middle frame 11, and improves the lightness and thinness of the electronic device 1.
In the above embodiments, there may be one or more keycaps 121 of the key assembly 12, and the disclosure is not limited thereto. The following is an exemplary description of the structure of the electronic device 1 for one and more cases of the key cap 121:
in one embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, the key cap 121 has one key cap 121, the main body 111 has a notch 1111 corresponding to the key cap 121, the top 1211 of the key cap is assembled in the notch 1111, and the bottom 1212 of the key cap connected to the top 1211 of the key cap is movably engaged with the supporting portion 112. At this time, the key cap bottom 1212 is located inside the electronic device 1 and supported by the supporting portion 112, and at least a portion of the key cap top 1211 is exposed outside the electronic device 1 and fits into the notch 1111 on the middle frame 11 for pressing operation. When the user applies force to press the top 1211 of the key cap 121, the top 1211 moves toward the inside of the electronic device 1 relative to the notch 1111, and the bottom 1212 moves toward the trigger 122 relative to the supporting portion 112 to touch the trigger 122. Due to the existence of the notch 1111, the main body 111 is not stressed, the size of the main body does not affect the overall strength of the middle frame 11 any longer, and the keycap 121 is stressed and supported by the supporting portion 112 inside the electronic device 1, thereby avoiding the increase of the width of the main body 111 caused by the increase of the structural strength of the middle frame 11.
Note that the notch 1111 may be provided on any one side surface of the main body portion 111 corresponding to the electronic device 1, and the notch 1111 in a slit shape may be provided in both end regions or a middle region of any one side surface, which is not limited by the present disclosure.
In another embodiment, the key cap 121 has a plurality of key caps 121, the main body 111 has a plurality of notches 1111 corresponding to the key caps 121 one by one, top 1211 of each of the key caps 121 is assembled with the notches 1111, and bottom 1212 of each of the key caps 121 is movably engaged with the supporting portion 112 inside the electronic device 1, so that the supporting portion 112 can lift the key caps 121 to support the key caps 121 under stress. The setting of a plurality of key caps 121 can enrich the button operation function of electronic equipment 1, promote the operation convenience. The working principle of each key cap 121 is the same as that of the single key cap 121 in the above embodiments, and the description thereof is omitted here.
Note that, the plurality of notches 1111 may be disposed on the same side or different sides of the main body 111 corresponding to the electronic device 1, and the disclosure is not limited thereto. When the plurality of notches 1111 are disposed on the same side of the main body 111, the key caps 121 are centralized, thereby facilitating the key operation of different functions. When the plurality of notches 1111 are disposed on different sides of the main body 111, the structural interference between the keycap bottoms 1212 of two adjacent keycaps 121 and the supporting portion 112 when movably engaged with each other can be reduced, and the structural and functional reliability of the plurality of keycaps 121 can be improved.
In the above embodiment, as shown in fig. 3, the key cap top 1211 includes an arc-shaped outer side surface, and the arc of the arc-shaped outer side surface matches with the outer side surface of the main body portion 111. The radian of the arc outer side surface of the key cap top 1211 is matched with the outer side surface of the main body part 111, and can be as follows: the radian of the outer arc-shaped surface of the top 1211 of the keycap is the same as that of the main body part 111, or the radian of the outer arc-shaped surface of the top 1211 of the keycap is matched with that of the main body part 111, so that the electronic device 1 has a smooth and attractive appearance.
Because the width of the main body 111 matches the width of the key cap top 1211 of the key cap 121 in the thickness direction of the electronic device 1, the notch 1111 formed in the main body 111 is a cut-off from the appearance, and when the radian of the arc-shaped outer side surface of the key cap top 1211 matches the radian of the main body 111, the key cap top 1211 is equivalent to be filled in the cut-off of the main body 111 to form an integral visual effect, so that the consistency and the aesthetic property of the outer side surface of the middle frame 11 are improved, and the pressing hand feeling and the user experience of the key cap 121 are improved.
Further, as shown in fig. 2 and 4, the supporting portion 112 includes a supporting wall and an assembling hole 1121 surrounded by the supporting wall, and the key cap 121 passes through the assembling hole 1121 and is movably engaged therewith. The assembling hole 1121 defined by the supporting wall of the supporting portion 112 is a hole-shaped structure, so that when the bottom 1212 of the key cap and the assembling hole 1121 form a matching relationship, a complete support is formed in the circumferential direction of the bottom 1212 of the key cap, so that the key cap 121 is prevented from deviating in a certain direction due to stress deviation, and the structural reliability of the key cap 121 is improved.
The middle frame 11 further includes a mounting base 113 disposed opposite to the supporting portion 112, and the triggering member 122 is disposed on the mounting base 113 and corresponds to the position of the assembling hole 1121 defined by the supporting wall. When the key cap 121 is pressed, the key cap 121 moves inwards along the assembly hole 1121 under the support of the support wall, and the trigger 122 is disposed on the mounting base 113 corresponding to the assembly hole 1121, so that the matching accuracy of the key cap 121 and the trigger 122 is improved.
Alternatively, a separate mounting base may be provided inside the electronic apparatus 1, and the trigger 122 may be assembled to the mounting base. Because the mounting base structure is independent, the flexibility of the arrangement of the mounting base structure in the electronic equipment 1 can be improved, and the space occupation in the electronic equipment 1 is optimized.
The support portion 112 may be an integrally molded structure extending from the main body portion 111, or may be assembled to the main body portion 111 by a subsequent process, which is not limited in the present disclosure. When the supporting portion 112 and the main body portion 111 are integrally formed, the position accuracy and the corresponding relationship between the main body portion 111 and each portion of the supporting portion 112 can be increased, and the structural reliability of the key assembly 12 can be improved. When the support portion 112 is assembled to the main body portion 111, the difficulty of processing the middle frame 11 can be reduced, and the processing cost can be reduced. The material of the middle frame 11 may be one of metal, glass, ceramic and plastic, which is not limited in this disclosure.
Further, the electronic device 1 may further include a rear casing 14 assembled with or integrally formed with the middle frame 11, and a material of the rear casing 14 may also be one of metal, glass, ceramic, and plastic, which is not limited in this disclosure.
In addition, as shown in fig. 4, the key assembly 12 further includes a limiting member 123, and the limiting member 123 is in limiting fit with the key cap 121 in the moving direction of the key cap 121, so as to avoid the problem that the key cap 121 is separated due to unnecessary movement in the moving direction, and further improve the structural reliability of the key assembly 12.
The position-limiting member 123 may be disposed inside the supporting portion 112 to avoid the position-limiting member 123 contacting the main body 111 and causing structural interference. It should be noted that the limiting member 123 may be a C-shaped, E-shaped or U-shaped snap spring, and when the limiting member 123 is in limiting fit with the key cap bottom 1212, the selection may be performed according to the cross-sectional shape of the key cap bottom 1212. Alternatively, the limiting member 123 may also include a limiting structure such as a snap fit structure or an abutting structure, and the limiting member is engaged with the key cap 121 in a manner such as a snap fit structure or an abutting structure to achieve limiting, which is not limited in the present disclosure.
The main body part 111 and the supporting part 112 are arranged on the middle frame 11 of the electronic device 1, so that the keycap 121 is assembled in the notch 1111 on the main body part 111, and the keycap 121 is movably matched with the supporting part 112 inside the electronic device 1. Since support 112 provides a forced support for keycap 121, the width of body portion 111 may be reduced to match the width of keycap top 1211, i.e., notch 1111 is provided as an open mouth to body portion 111. The above structure not only improves the structural strength of the middle frame 11, but also reduces the width of the main body 111 of the middle frame 11, and improves the lightness and thinness of the electronic device 1.
The electronic device 1 may be a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a vehicle-mounted terminal, a medical terminal, etc., which is not limited by the present disclosure.
Other embodiments of the disclosure will be apparent to those skilled in the art from consideration of the specification and practice of the disclosure disclosed herein. This application is intended to cover any variations, uses, or adaptations of the disclosure following, in general, the principles of the disclosure and including such departures from the present disclosure as come within known or customary practice within the art to which the disclosure pertains. It is intended that the specification and examples be considered as exemplary only, with a true scope and spirit of the disclosure being indicated by the following claims.
It will be understood that the present disclosure is not limited to the precise arrangements that have been described above and shown in the drawings, and that various modifications and changes may be made without departing from the scope thereof. The scope of the present disclosure is limited only by the appended claims.
