Background
Severe trauma has become a public health problem in today's world, accounting for approximately 12% of global mortality, with the leading cause of death in people under the age of 36. Severe wounds, especially multiple wounds, are serious in injury conditions, involve multiple systems, multiple organs and multiple parts, and require multidisciplinary and multi-professional cooperative treatment. The lack of effective information communication between pre-hospital treatment and hospitals, how to more effectively rescue the wounded by the ambulance and how to effectively and actively perform medical intervention under the guidance of participation of various disciplines are significant challenges in surgical clinical work.
The wound is a time-dependent disease, and the serious wound treatment has the problem of treatment time limit in both normal times and wartime, namely the treatment time window. Once the time for rescue is delayed or exceeds the time window for rescue, the patient loses the best chance of being rescued and mortality and morbidity increases. How to evaluate the injury condition more quickly in the early stage of the first aid, and perform medical intervention earlier, thereby improving the treatment efficiency, saving the rescue time and being the first problem to be solved for the first aid of the injury.
On one hand, based on massive data mining, useful information hidden behind clinical data of a trauma patient is found out to timely perform prevention and treatment, so that the economic operation cost of the whole society is reduced, the health level of people is improved, and the method is an urgent requirement for industry development; on the other hand, the quality of the data itself and the ability to specialize large data do not keep up with clinical needs, and how to store, retrieve, clean up and analyze large data is a difficult problem. With the advent of the big data era, the field of wound first aid will inevitably come into huge and profound revolution.
