Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of display, and particularly relates to a display device of a vehicle event data recorder.
Background
With the progress of the times and the development of economic society, automobiles have become main vehicles of people. According to the statistics data of 2018, the annual automobile sales volume of the China market exceeds 1800 ten thousand, and accounts for more than 30% of the global sales volume. With the increase of the automobile holding quantity, various traffic accidents frequently occur, such as vehicle collision, porcelain collision, road rage, illegal driving and the like. As key equipment for driving monitoring, accident evidence and mobile recording, automobile data recorders are becoming indispensable electronic devices in automobiles. In order to facilitate the output of the recorded image data, the drive recorder is provided with a display device in many cases.
As a display device, display modes such as TN (twisted nematic), STN (super twisted nematic), VA (vertical alignment), IPS (in-plane switching), and FFS (fringe field switching) are commonly used. In recent years, researchers have further developed an ADS (advanced super dimension field switching) display mode based on FFS technology, and have used it in-vehicle displays.
The ADS is a display mode in which liquid crystal molecules between electrodes and right above the electrodes can rotate on a plane parallel to a glass substrate by an edge electric field generated between top-layer stripe-shaped pixel electrodes and bottom-layer layered common electrodes on a TFT substrate. This display mode has high light transmittance and can realize a wide viewing angle.
Because the driving electric field of the ADS display mode is a fringe electric field, liquid crystal molecules with two components of a horizontal electric field and a vertical electric field can generate splay and bending deformation under the action of the electric field, large splay deformation is generated at the edge of a pixel electrode, and large bending deformation is generated between the pixel electrodes. The liquid crystal deformation induces an electric dipole moment, i.e., a flexoelectric effect, so that a flicker phenomenon is easily generated.
In order to solve the above problems, improvements in terms of display media, backlights, and the like have been attempted. This requires that the display device of the ADS display mode has a low flicker value.
Therefore, it is desirable to provide a display device of a driving recorder with improved display performance, which addresses the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a display device of a driving recorder. The display device of the ADS display mode has a low flicker value, particularly a flicker value of not higher than 0.5%, compared to the related art.
