The chemical method mainly utilizes strong oxidant potassium permanganate, hydrogen peroxide, etc. to oxidize partial odor components into less-odor and odorless substances. Physical methods include mechanical ventilation to reduce odor concentration, or absorption of odors by absorbents. However, the above methods all have the problems of low removal efficiency, easy generation of secondary pollution and high removal cost.
