In order to make the technical solutions of the present disclosure better understood by those of ordinary skill in the art, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
It should be noted that the terms "first," "second," and the like in the description and claims of the present disclosure and in the above-described drawings are used for distinguishing between similar elements and not necessarily for describing a particular sequential or chronological order. It is to be understood that the data so used is interchangeable under appropriate circumstances such that the embodiments of the disclosure described herein are capable of operation in sequences other than those illustrated or otherwise described herein. The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below are not intended to represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a video cover generation method applied to a client according to an exemplary embodiment, and includes the following steps, as shown in fig. 1.
In step S101, when a trigger operation to upload a target video to a server is received, jumping to a target interface; the target interface is used for presenting a video frame picture of the target video;
in step S102, if an operation event that a user selects a video frame picture is monitored in the process of presenting the video frame picture of the target video, taking the video frame picture presented by the target video at the occurrence time of the operation event as a target video frame picture selected by the user;
in step S103, a cover picture of the target video is generated according to the target video frame picture.
In step S101, the target video may be an online video, or a video downloaded to the local by the client, which is not limited herein. The target video may be a short video, i.e., a video with a relatively short playing time, for example, 1 minute, or a video with a relatively long playing time, for example, 1 hour, and is not limited specifically here.
The target video is a video needing cover setting, and a user can upload the target video on a client or publish the target video. During uploading or publishing of the target video, a video cover can be set for the target video.
Specifically, an upload control or a release control may be set on an interface of the client, and the user may trigger the upload control or the release control for the target video, so as to upload the target video to the server. Correspondingly, the client can jump to a target interface under the condition of receiving the trigger operation of uploading the target video to the server, the target interface can be an interface for presenting the video frame picture of the target video, and the target interface can be different from an interface for normally playing the video. For example, the target interface may include a first control for cover page extraction, and the first control may allow a user to select a video frame picture of a target video presented in the target interface as a cover page of the target video.
The target interface can also be the same as an interface for normally playing the video, and a user can select a video frame picture in the target video as a cover of the target video through other controls on the client or other third-party tools connected with the client, such as a keyboard, a mouse and the like. For example, a user may select a video frame picture of a target video as a video cover through a screen capture control or a photo control on a client, and when the user performs screen capture or photo on the video frame picture of the target video, the client may use the screen capture or photo video frame picture as the video cover.
Of course, under the condition that the target interface is different from the interface for normally playing the video, the video frame picture of the target video can be selected as the video cover through the screen capture control or the photographing control on the client. In the following embodiments, the selection of a video frame picture as a video cover through the first control will be described in detail.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a target interface in an embodiment of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 2, a "determination" control, which is a first control, is included in the target interface for presenting a video frame picture of the target video, and is used to select the video frame picture in the target video as a cover of the target video. And the target interface can also comprise a cancel control which can be used for canceling cover setting, and then the client can jump to an interface for normally playing the video or close the target interface without performing cover setting on the target video and directly upload or release the target video.
In step S102, in the process of presenting the video frame picture of the target video on the target interface, the user may perform an operation on a control set in the target interface and a third-party tool connected to the client, such as a mouse or a keyboard, to control the playing of the target video or select the video frame picture of the target video. Correspondingly, the client can monitor the operation event of the user, analyze the operation event of the user, and determine that the monitored operation event is the operation event of the video frame selected by the user if the user executes the trigger operation for the first control set on the target interface and the client receives the trigger operation of the first control. If the client monitors the operation event of the video frame picture selected by the user, the video frame picture presented by the target video at the occurrence moment of the operation event can be used as the target video frame picture selected by the user.
That is to say, when the user selects a video frame picture in the target video as the video cover, a trigger operation may be performed on the first control, where the trigger operation is an operation of selecting the video frame picture by the user, and when the client monitors an operation event of selecting the video frame picture by the user, it is determined that the video frame picture of the target video currently presented in the target interface is the target video frame picture selected by the user as the video cover.
As shown in fig. 2, in the process that the target interface presents the video frame picture of the target video, the user performs a trigger operation for the "determination" control, and accordingly, the client takes the video frame picture of the target video currently presented in the target interface as the target video frame picture selected by the user when receiving the trigger operation for the "determination" control, that is, when monitoring an operation event that the user selects the video frame picture.
In step S103, a cover picture of the target video may be generated from the target video frame picture. Specifically, a canvas drawing tool may be used to process a frame picture of a target video to generate a cover picture of the target video, or a screen capture function or a photographing function of a client may be used to capture a screen or photograph the frame picture of the target video to obtain the cover picture of the target video.
Taking the example that a canvas drawing tool is used to process a target video frame picture to generate a cover picture of the target video, a client may draw a canvas based on the target video frame picture by means of a drawing drawImage function in the canvas drawing tool of the latest version of HTML5 in the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) standard, so as to obtain a canvas content corresponding to the target video frame picture. And saving the canvas content by using a tobob interface in a canvas drawing tool to obtain a cover picture of the target video.
Certainly, the frame picture of the target video may also be processed by using a canvas drawing tool of HTML of other versions to generate a cover page picture of the target video, which is similar to the above implementation manner and is not described in detail here.
The canvas drawing tool of the HTML5 is adopted to process the pictures of the target video frame picture, so that the resolution of the cover picture and the resolution of the target video frame picture are kept consistent, and the displayed content is also consistent.
Further, after extracting a cover picture of the target video based on a video frame picture of the target video presented in the target interface, the client may upload the cover picture to the server. And then, the server can distribute the target video and the cover picture to each terminal device, so that each terminal device can display the target video and the cover picture as the cover of the target video.
In the embodiment, a client receives a trigger operation of a user, and jumps to a target interface presenting a video frame of a target video under the condition of receiving the trigger operation of uploading the target video to a server; monitoring an operation event of a user when the operation event of the video frame picture selected by the user is monitored in the process of presenting the video frame picture of the target video on the target interface, and taking the video frame picture presented by the target video at the occurrence moment of the operation event as the target video frame picture selected by the user; and generating a cover picture of the target video according to the frame picture of the target video. Therefore, the client receives the triggering operation of the user and monitors the operation event of the user, the selection of the target video frame picture can be completed at the client, and the cover picture of the video is generated according to the selected target video frame picture, so that the cover setting for the video can be realized without performing a video frame extraction task at the server, and the resource consumption of the server can be reduced.
In addition, the client can immediately select the video cover while the user uploads the target video to the server, the client does not need to wait for the target video to be uploaded to the server, and then starts the selection operation of the video cover, so that the user experience is improved. In addition, the selection operation of the video cover is completely finished at the client, the video cover is visualized to the user, the user can see the video cover, the possibility that the set video cover picture and the user perceive that the video picture has deviation does not exist, and the control feeling of selecting the video cover is enhanced.
Optionally, based on the first embodiment, the step S103 specifically includes:
performing canvas drawing based on the target video frame picture to obtain canvas content corresponding to the target video frame picture;
and storing the canvas content to obtain a cover picture of the target video.
Specifically, the client may perform canvas drawing based on the target video frame picture by using a drawing drawImage function in a canvas drawing tool of a latest version of HTML5 in a Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) standard, so as to obtain a canvas content corresponding to the target video frame picture.
Optionally, based on the above embodiment, the step of saving the canvas content to obtain the cover picture of the target video includes:
storing the canvas content to obtain a target picture;
outputting prompt information under the condition that the color value of the target picture is a single color value; the prompt information is used for prompting whether the target picture is used as a cover picture of the target video or not;
determining the target picture as a cover picture of the target video if a confirmation input for the prompt information is received.
In this embodiment, the canvas content may be saved in a picture form by using a tobob interface in the canvas drawing tool, so as to obtain the target picture.
In consideration of the characteristics of the picture as the video cover, that is, the color value of the picture as the video cover is not usually a single color value, that is, the black screen picture displayed at the early stage of video playing or the black screen picture displayed at the later stage of video playing does not have the essential characteristics of representing the video, and therefore, the picture is not usually defaulted as the video cover. At this time, the client may detect the target picture, and the purpose of the detection is to determine whether the color value of the target picture is a single color value, and if the color value is a single color value such as black, prompt information is output to give a prompt whether the user uses the target picture as a video cover, that is, whether the user confirms that the target picture is used as a cover picture of the target video.
Then, the user may perform a confirmation input or cancel an input for the prompt message, and accordingly, the client determines the target picture as the cover picture of the target video in the case of receiving the confirmation input for the prompt message. And when the cancel input aiming at the prompt information is received or the user is detected not to input aiming at the prompt information within the preset time, the client does not determine the target picture as the cover picture of the target video to upload. And then the client can continue to play the target video so that the user can reselect the video cover or not carry out cover setting on the target video.
And if the color value of the target picture is not the single color value, directly determining the target picture as the cover picture of the target video for uploading.
In the embodiment, the video frame picture is clearly visible to the user, so that the video frame picture has the characteristic of visualization, the effect that the user sees and obtains the video frame picture is achieved, and the possibility that the set video cover picture and the user perceive that the video frame picture has deviation does not exist. And the user is prompted whether to confirm that the target picture is taken as the cover picture of the target video or not by outputting prompt information, so that the control feeling of selecting the video cover is enhanced.
Optionally, based on the first embodiment, after the step S101, the method further includes:
monitoring a loading event of the target video in the target interface;
and presenting a video frame picture of the target video in the target interface under the condition that the loading event indicates that the target video is loaded successfully.
In this embodiment, the client may monitor a loading event of the target video in the target interface, and two cases exist as a result of the loading event, where the first case is that the target video is successfully loaded, and the second case is that the target video is unsuccessfully loaded.
The client side can monitor the loading event of the target video in the target interface under two conditions, wherein the first condition is that when a user selects the target video to be uploaded to the server for video cover setting, the client side jumps to the target interface to present a video frame picture of the target video. At this time, the client may monitor a loading event of the target video in the target interface, and present a video frame picture of the target video in the target interface if the loading event indicates that the target video is successfully loaded.
The second case is that the presentation time of the target video is jumped to the target playing time under the condition that the operation event for updating the presentation time of the target video is monitored. At this time, the client may monitor a loading event of the target video in the target interface, and present a video frame picture of the target video at the target playing time in the target interface when the loading event indicates that the target video is successfully loaded.
And under the condition that the loading event indicates that the target video is failed to be loaded, ending the flow of generating the video cover page.
In the second case, before the step S102, the method further includes:
if an operation event for updating the presentation time of the target video is monitored in the process of presenting the video frame picture of the target video, determining the target playing time of the target video according to the operation event for updating the presentation time of the target video;
skipping the presentation time of the target video in the target interface to the target playing time;
and under the condition that an event that the target video is loaded successfully in the target interface is monitored, presenting a video frame picture of the target video at the target playing time in the target interface.
As shown in fig. 2, the "forward" control and the "backward" control below the progress bar are the second controls, in practical applications, the progress bar may also serve as one second control, and the presentation time of the target video may also be updated when a drag operation or a click operation for the progress bar is received. In addition, the second control is not limited to be arranged on the target interface, and the control used for updating the presentation time of the target video can be called as the second control, such as a left button and a right button arranged on a keyboard.
The second control may be a button control or a touch control, which is not limited specifically herein.
Specifically, in the process of presenting the video frame of the target video, the client may monitor operation events of a mouse, a touch panel, and a keyboard of the user, and may confirm that the operation event at the time of updating the presentation of the target video is monitored when the operation event of the user for the second control or the progress bar in the target interface is monitored. The client can analyze the specific information of the operation events, calculate the new playing time of the target video, namely the target playing time, and jump the presentation time of the target video to the target playing time.
And under the condition that an event that the target video is loaded successfully in the target interface is monitored, presenting a video frame picture of the target video at the target playing time in the target interface.
Optionally, the step of determining the target playing time of the target video according to the operation event for updating the presentation time of the target video includes:
if the operation event for updating the presentation time of the target video is an operation event triggered by a progress bar based on the target video, acquiring the updating position of the progress bar;
and determining the target playing time of the target video based on the updated position, the length of the progress bar and the duration of the target video.
More specifically, a progress bar can be provided on the target interface, so that the user is supported to modify the playing time of the video in a manner of dragging the progress bar by a mouse, and the user is also supported to directly jump to a certain playing time in a manner of clicking the progress bar. If the operation event for updating the presentation time of the target video is an operation event triggered by a progress bar based on the target video, the updating position of the progress bar can be obtained; and determining the target playing time of the target video based on the updated position, the length of the progress bar and the duration of the target video.
Assuming that the total duration of the target video is T, the total length of the progress bar is L, the current position of the progress bar is p, and the target playing time of the target video is T, it is easy to find that the following relationships exist among the four types of progress bars as shown in the following formula (1):
t=(p×T)/L (1)
according to the formula (1), the current position of the progress bar can be conveniently set, and the target playing time of the target video is determined.
Optionally, if the operation event for updating the presentation time of the target video is an operation event triggered by a keyboard or a target control of the target interface, after the step of determining the target playing time of the target video according to the operation event for updating the presentation time of the target video, the method further includes:
determining a target position of the progress bar based on the target playing time, the length of the progress bar of the target video and the duration of the target video;
and updating the progress bar according to the target position.
In addition, the second control mentioned above may include a target control, where a "forward" control and a "backward" control provided below the progress bar are target controls of the target interface, and when the user clicks the "forward" control, the client may analyze that the user's intention is to increase the current playing time of the target video, so that the client advances the playing time of the target video to a certain playing time greater than the current playing time.
Meanwhile, the client side also realizes the monitoring of the left key and the right key of the keyboard, when the user presses the right key, the client side analyzes that the intention of the user is to increase the current playing time of the target video, and correspondingly, the client side can advance the playing time of the target video to a certain playing time larger than the current playing time. Conversely, for the case where the user clicks the "back" control or presses the left key of the keyboard, the playing time of the target video is backed to a playing time that is less than the current playing time.
It should be noted that, no matter what type of video playing time is updated, the current playing time indicated by the progress bar needs to be updated synchronously.
Assuming that the total duration of the target video is T, the total length of the progress bar is L, the target playing time of the target video is T, and the target position of the progress bar is p1, it is easy to find that the following relationships exist among the four types of progress bars as shown in the following equation (2):
p1=(t×L)/T (2)
according to the formula (2), the target position of the progress bar can be conveniently set according to the target playing time.
In this embodiment, the client controls the playing time point of the target video and monitors the loading event of the target video, so that the video frame image at the corresponding playing time point can be presented on the target interface when the loading event indicates that the target video is successfully loaded, and the video frame image can be clearly visible to the user.
