Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present application more apparent, the present application is described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the present application and are not intended to limit the present application.
The communication device connection method provided by the application can be applied to the application environment shown in fig. 1. The application environment includes a target terminal 102, and the target terminal 102 includes a target communication device therein. The target communication device may be connected to and communicate with the target terminal through a device access interface provided by the target terminal, where the device access interface is, for example, a device interface corresponding to a bus, and the device interface corresponding to the bus may be, for example, an interface corresponding to a PCIe (peripheral component interconnect express, high speed serial computer extended bus standard) bus. The target terminal may also be referred to as HOST, among others.
Specifically, the target terminal 102 obtains a device reset trigger event corresponding to the target communication device, and resets the target communication device according to the device reset trigger event. The target terminal 102 resets the target communication device according to the device reset trigger event, and then scans the target communication device. When the target terminal 102 determines that the target communication device is scanned, the target terminal 102 acquires a target driver file corresponding to the target communication device, and configures the target communication device by using the target driver file to obtain the configured target communication device, so that the target terminal establishes a communication connection with the configured target communication device.
The target terminal 102 may be, but is not limited to, various personal computers, notebook computers, smart phones, tablet computers, and portable wearable devices.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 2, a method for connecting a communication device is provided, which is described by taking the method as an example applied to the target terminal 102 in fig. 1, and includes the following steps:
s202, acquiring a device reset triggering event corresponding to the target communication device, and resetting the target communication device according to the device reset triggering event.
Specifically, the target communication device is a communication device installed in the target terminal. The communication device may include at least one of a network card, a video card, or a hard disk. The communication device may be connected to the terminal through an interface that does not support hot-plugging. The hot plug refers to plugging and unplugging the device without turning off the power supply of the terminal, that is, plugging and unplugging the device with electricity. The interface which does not support hot plug is provided, when the device is plugged after being unplugged from the terminal or the device is reset, the terminal and the device can not carry out normal data communication, for example, the device can not be driven to normally work. The interface supports hot plug, and after the device is plugged after being unplugged from the terminal or the device is reset, the terminal and the device can carry out normal data communication.
A device reset triggering event refers to an event that triggers resetting of a target communication device. The device reset triggering event may include at least one of a device failure event or a device upgrade event. The device failure event may be an event in which an abnormality occurs in the operational state of the communication device. A device upgrade event refers to an event that upgrades a file in the communication device, and may be, for example, an event that upgrades firmware in the communication device. The firmware refers to a device "driver" stored inside the device, and the operating system can implement the running action of a specific machine according to the standard device driver through the firmware.
In some embodiments, the terminal monitors a device reset trigger event of the communication device, performs a reset operation on the communication device according to the device reset trigger event, and scans the communication device after performing the reset operation on the communication device, as shown in fig. 3.
In some embodiments, when the communication device needs to be reset, the communication device may actively send a reset scanning instruction to the terminal, and the terminal may perform a reset operation and a scanning operation on the communication device according to the reset scanning instruction. The reset scan command is used to instruct the target terminal to perform a reset operation and a scan operation on the target communication device, as shown in fig. 4. For example, when the PCIe device needs to reset by itself, a message that needs to be reset may be sent to the HOST, after the driver corresponding to the PCIe device in the HOST receives the message that the PCIe device needs to reset, the driver may notify a device monitoring daemon (daemon) in the user space, and after the device monitoring daemon receives the message that needs to reset, the device monitoring daemon may call a reset control method interface corresponding to the PCIe device to reset the PCIe device, and then rescan the PCIe device through Sysfs. Therefore, the PCIe equipment can be rescanned under the condition that the PCIe bus does not support hot plug.
And S204, when the target communication equipment is reset according to the equipment reset triggering event, scanning the target communication equipment.
Specifically, the reset refers to restoring the communication device to an original state, which may include a state of the communication device when shipped from a factory. Scanning the communication device refers to acquiring information of the communication device and determining whether the communication device exists according to the acquired information of the communication device. The communication device being present means that the communication device can perform basic data communication with the target terminal, and the communication device being absent may be that the communication device is physically disconnected from the terminal. Wherein the basic data communication may include the terminal obtaining device information of the communication device.
In some embodiments, when scanning the target communication device, the target terminal may scan the interface of the target communication device according to the information of the device interface corresponding to the target communication device. The target terminal can also perform scanning operation on the devices on the device interfaces. Specifically, the target terminal may reset the target communication device according to the device reset trigger event, and scan the devices on each device interface on the target terminal after the reset operation is performed.
In some embodiments, after the target terminal resets the target communication device, the target communication device may send a device scanning instruction to the target terminal in an interrupt manner, so that the target terminal scans the target communication device. For example, when the PCIe device is reset, the HOST may be notified by a GPIO (General-purpose input/output) interrupt to rescan the PCIe bus and re-enumerate the PCIe device.
In some embodiments, the terminal may scan each communication device through a preset device scanning tool, and store the scanned hardware identification information and device address information of each communication device in a preset data structure. The predetermined data structure may be, for example, a linked list data structure. The hardware identification information may be, for example, device hardware identification ID information, and the device address information may be an interface address, such as a bus address, of a device interface corresponding to the communication device. The default device scanning tool may be, for example, the Sysfs file system, which is a special file system used to organize devices in the terminal's system into a hierarchy and provide detailed kernel data structure information to the user mode program. For example, when the system of the terminal is normally powered on, the terminal may search, through the Sysfs file system, hardware identification ID information and device address information of all devices on the PCIe bus after completing scanning of the PCIe device, and store the hardware identification ID information and the device address information in a linked list data structure.
In some embodiments, the terminal may obtain the reset driver files respectively corresponding to the communication devices. The reset driver file may be, for example, a reset pin driver, the reset pin driver may provide a control method interface for resetting the device, and the terminal may reset the device using the control method interface.
S206, when the target communication equipment is determined to be scanned, a target drive file corresponding to the target communication equipment is obtained, the target communication equipment is configured by using the target drive file, and the configured target communication equipment is obtained, so that the target terminal and the configured target communication equipment establish communication connection.
Specifically, the Driver file may also be referred to as a Driver (Driver), which is a special program for causing a computer (terminal) to communicate with a device. The terminal can perform data communication with the communication device through the driver file. The configured target communication device refers to a communication device which drives a target communication module through a target drive file. The configured target communication equipment can work normally and can carry out complex data communication with the target terminal except basic data communication. The complex data communication may include the terminal acquiring the operation data of the normal operation state from the communication device, and the like.
In some embodiments, the target terminal may store driver files corresponding to a plurality of types of communication devices. A communication device may correspond to a driver file. The terminal can obtain the corresponding driving file from the stored driving file according to the information of the communication equipment. The information of the communication device may include a number of the communication device, and the code of the communication device may include at least one of a vendor number (VID) or a device number (DiD).
According to the communication equipment connection method, the equipment reset triggering event corresponding to the target communication equipment is obtained, the target communication equipment is reset according to the equipment reset triggering event, the target communication equipment is scanned after the target communication equipment is reset according to the equipment reset triggering event, the target driving file corresponding to the target communication equipment is obtained when the target communication equipment is determined to be scanned, the target communication equipment is configured by using the target driving file, the configured target communication equipment is obtained, so that the target terminal and the configured target communication equipment are in communication connection, the target communication module and the target terminal are automatically connected after the target communication module is reset, and the efficiency of connecting the communication equipment is improved.
At present, when a PCIe bus in a Linux system does not support hot plug, after the PCIe device is reset, HOST cannot re-scan and enumerate the PCIe device. The PCIe device driver in the HOST can not normally drive the PCIe device into a normal state, so that the communication between the HOST and the PCIe device is interrupted. By adopting the communication equipment connection provided by the application, after the PCIe equipment is reset, the HOST can automatically scan the PCIe equipment, so that the normal communication connection is quickly established with the PCIe equipment, and the efficiency of the HOST for connecting the communication equipment is improved. In a Linux system, a PCIe device driver may communicate with the HOST in a form of an emulated USB (Universal Serial Bus), or in a form of a Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) configured by a Virtual Network card of the PCIe device driver.
In some embodiments, obtaining a device reset trigger event corresponding to the target communication device includes: and monitoring the running state of the target communication equipment, and determining to acquire an equipment reset triggering event when the running state of the target communication equipment is monitored to be abnormal.
In particular, the operational state of the communication device may be selected from normal and abnormal. The operating state of the communication device being abnormal may include the communication device not being able to operate normally. When the terminal monitors that the operation state of the communication equipment is abnormal, the terminal can determine to monitor the equipment reset triggering event.
In the above embodiment, when the running state of the device is abnormal, it is determined that the obtained device reset triggering event may perform resetting, scanning, and driver file configuration on the device when the device is abnormal, so that the device is helped to recover to the normal running state.
In some embodiments, the acquiring of the device reset trigger event corresponding to the target communication device in step S202 includes: acquiring a file upgrading request for upgrading a target device file in target communication equipment; and when the corresponding upgrade file is written into the target communication equipment according to the file upgrade request, determining to acquire an equipment reset triggering event.
Specifically, a device file refers to a file in a device (communication device), and the device file is, for example, firmware of the communication device. The file upgrading request is used for requesting upgrading of the equipment file. The target device file refers to a device file in the target communication device.
In some embodiments, the terminal may obtain a file upgrade request corresponding to a device file in the communication device, obtain a corresponding upgrade file from the file server according to the file upgrade request, and write the upgrade file into the communication module. After the upgrade file is written into the communication module, the upgrade file can be normally used by the communication module by resetting and reacquiring the communication device. Therefore, the terminal can determine to acquire the device reset triggering event when the upgrade file is written into the communication module.
In the above embodiment, when the upgrade file is written into the communication module, the device reset trigger event is determined to be acquired, and when the file in the device is upgraded, the device can be reset, scanned, and configured with the drive file, so that the device can use the upgrade file normally.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 5, resetting the target communication device according to the device reset triggering event in step S204 includes:
and S502, calling a target device reset interface corresponding to the target communication device according to the device reset triggering event.
Specifically, the device reset interface is used for resetting the communication device. Different communication devices can correspond to different device reset interfaces, and the device reset interfaces corresponding to various types of communication devices can be stored in the target terminal. The target device reset interface is a device reset interface corresponding to the target communication device and is used for resetting the target communication device. The device reset interface may be an interface in a reset pin driver, for example, may be a control method interface in a reset pin driver that resets a PCIe device. The system program or other program of the terminal can call the device reset interface to reset the device. For example, the target terminal device may control a reset pin of the PCIe device through a BIOS (Basic Input Output System) or a GPIO, so as to reset the PCIe device.
S504, the reset pin of the target communication device is reset through the target device reset interface, so that the target communication device is reset.
Specifically, the target terminal may utilize the target device reset interface to perform device operation on the level of a reset pin of the target communication device, for example, to set the level of the reset pin to a reset level, where the reset level refers to a level corresponding to a reset state, so that the target communication device realizes reset.
In the above embodiment, according to the device reset triggering event, the target device reset interface corresponding to the target communication device is called, and the reset pin of the target communication device is reset by using the target device reset interface, so as to reset the target communication device, thereby enabling the terminal to automatically reset the communication module, and enabling the terminal to determine the reset time of the communication device, so that under the condition that the device interface does not support hot plugging, the terminal can obtain the communication device according to the reset time, thereby enabling the communication device to normally communicate with the terminal, and improving the connection efficiency of the communication device.
In some embodiments, when it is determined that the target communication device is scanned, acquiring the target driver file corresponding to the target communication device includes: acquiring a target supplier number and a target equipment number corresponding to target communication equipment, and performing logical operation according to the target supplier number and the target equipment number to obtain target equipment information; and comparing the target device information with the device information value range, and when the comparison is consistent, determining that the target communication device is scanned, and acquiring a target drive file corresponding to the target communication device.
In particular, the logical operation may include at least one of a bitwise and operation, a bitwise or operation, or the like. The device information is logically operated according to the provider number and the device number of the communication device, and may be, for example, a result of a bitwise and operation between the provider number and the device number. The target provider number and the target device number are numbers of the target communication device acquired in a process of scanning the target communication device. The device information value range may be a range of devices according to needs, and may be non-0 data, for example. And when the target device information conforms to the device information value range, determining that the target communication device is scanned, otherwise, determining that the target communication device is not scanned.
In some embodiments, the terminal may compare the target device information with the device information value range, and when the comparison is consistent, determine that the target communication device is scanned, and obtain a target driver file corresponding to the target communication device. The consistency of comparison means that the target device information meets the device information value range, that is, the data corresponding to the target device information belongs to the data included in the device information value range.
In some embodiments, the target terminal sends a number obtaining instruction to the target communication device through a device interface corresponding to the target communication device, and when the target communication device exists, the target communication device may return the number to the terminal. And when the target communication equipment does not exist, the target terminal acquires the preset number returned by the interface. The target terminal can determine that the target communication device does not exist, namely the target communication device is not scanned according to the preset number and the device information value range.
In the above embodiment, when the comparison is consistent, the target communication device is determined to be scanned, and the target driver file corresponding to the target communication device is acquired, so that the configuration of the driver file can be performed for the scanned device, and the scanned device is restored to a normal operating state.
In some embodiments, obtaining the target driver file corresponding to the target communication device includes: and searching and obtaining a target drive file corresponding to the target communication equipment from the candidate drive file set according to the target equipment number and the target supplier number, wherein the candidate drive file set comprises drive files corresponding to the plurality of communication equipment respectively.
Specifically, a candidate driver file set may be stored in the terminal, the candidate driver file set may include driver files corresponding to the respective communication devices, and the driver files in the candidate driver file set may be stored in association with the numbers of the corresponding communication devices, for example, in association with at least one of the vendor numbers or the device numbers of the communication devices.
In some embodiments, the driver files in the candidate driver file set may be stored in association with the provider number and the device number of the communication device, and the target terminal may search for the target driver file corresponding to the target communication device from the candidate driver file set according to the target device number and the target provider number corresponding to the target communication device.
In the embodiment, the target drive file corresponding to the target communication device is searched and obtained from the candidate drive file set according to the target device number and the target provider number, and the drive file corresponding to the communication device can be quickly and accurately obtained, so that the connection efficiency of the communication device is improved.
