Background
At present, a board end connector is soldered on a circuit board of an electronic product, and a wire end connector is provided for being embedded, so that the wire end connector and the board end connector are electrically connected, and the electronic product can normally operate.
Due to the recent demand for light weight and thin profile of mobile communication devices, the overall height of the board-side connectors is required to be reduced, and the board-side connectors are easily damaged by external impact, so that the electronic products are not high in the appropriate rate and even damaged.
In view of the above, how to improve the related manufacturing process of the current board end connector to overcome the various problems in the prior art is the technical subject to be solved by the present disclosure.
Disclosure of Invention

The present invention will be described in detail with reference to the following embodiments, which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, and other advantages and effects of the present invention will be apparent to those skilled in the art from the disclosure of the present specification. The invention is capable of other and different embodiments and of being practiced or of being carried out in various ways. Various modifications and changes may be made in the details within the description and the drawings without departing from the spirit of the invention. In particular, the relative proportions and positions of the various elements in the drawings are exemplary only, and are not intended to represent the actual conditions in which the present invention is practiced.
Referring to fig. 1 to 12 together, a wire end connector 2 is provided with a wire end insulator 21 as shown in the figures. As shown in fig. 3, the terminal insulator 21 has a terminal engaging structure 211 with a convex structure, but it should be noted that the terminal engaging structure 211 may alternatively be designed with a concave structure to adapt to the structural design of the board terminal connector 1.
In the present application, the board end connector 1 can be disposed on the circuit substrate 3 to provide the circuit substrate 3 with transmission of electronic signals and power. As shown in fig. 2, the plate end connector 1 includes: a board-end insulator 11, a board-end metal cover 12, at least one board-end signal terminal 13 and a plurality of board-end power terminals 14. The board-end signal terminal 13 and the board-end power terminal 14 are respectively inserted through the board-end insulator 11 for inserting the line-end connector 2.
The board-end insulator 11 has a board-end guiding structure 111 and a board-end engaging structure 112. As shown in fig. 3 and fig. 5 to 6, the board end guiding structure 111 is a rail structure, and the board end guiding structure 111 provides a guide wire end insulator 11 to enter the body of the board end insulator 11, so as to complete the fitting of the cable end connector 2 and the board end connector 1. The board end clamping structure 112 is located above the board end insulator 11 and adjacent to the position of the wire end clamping structure 211, but not limited thereto, the board end clamping structure 112 can be disposed at any position on the board end insulator 11 where the wire end clamping structure 211 can be clamped, and as shown in fig. 3, the board end clamping structure 112 is a concave structure, but it should be noted that, in order to adapt to the structural design of the wire end connector 2, the board end clamping structure 112 can also be optionally designed to be a convex structure.
As shown in fig. 9, the plate-end metal cap 12 covers the plate-end insulator 11 and abuts against the plate-end insulator 11 to support the plate-end insulator 11 and limit the degree of deformation of the plate-end insulator 11 under force, so as to prevent the plate-end insulator 11 from being greatly deformed or even damaged under the influence of external force, thereby preventing the plate-end connector 1 from being damaged due to the impact of external force and prolonging the service life of the plate-end connector 1.
In addition, the plate end metal cover 12 has a left groove 121 and a right groove 122 extending inward from the end edge, and the plate end metal cover 12 forms a spring arm 123 capable of deforming under force by the left groove 121 and the right groove 122. As shown in fig. 10, the elastic arm 123 is disposed above the board end clamping structure 112, and as shown in fig. 11, the elastic arm 123 provides a force for receiving the board end clamping structure 112 or the line end clamping structure 211 to deform, so that the board end clamping structure 112 and the line end clamping structure 211 can be smoothly clamped without receiving too much resistance of the board end metal cover 12, and interference of the board end metal cover 12 on the clamping of the board end clamping structure 112 and the line end clamping structure 211 is avoided. In addition, as shown in fig. 12, after the board end clamping structure 112 and the wire end clamping structure 211 are clamped with each other, the elastic arm 123 can also provide an elastic force to the board end clamping structure 112 or the wire end clamping structure 211, so that the board end clamping structure 112 or the wire end clamping structure 211 is restored.
As shown in fig. 2, the board-end insulator 11 has at least one side wall 113, a fastening structure 1131 with a convex structure is formed on the side wall 113, and the fastening structure 1131 is provided for fastening the board-end metal cover 12 to maintain the relative position of the board-end metal cover 12 and the board-end insulator 11, i.e., the fastening structure 1131 can position the board-end metal cover 12 on the board-end insulator 11. However, it should be noted that, in order to adapt to the structural design of the plate-end metal cover 12, the fastening structure 1131 may alternatively be designed as a recessed structure.
The plate-end metal cover 12 has at least one inserting structure 124, the inserting structure 124 is a protruding structure formed by bending a body of the plate-end metal cover 12, as shown in fig. 1, the inserting structure 124 is inserted above the plate-end insulator 11 to maintain a relative position between the plate-end metal cover 12 and the plate-end insulator 11, that is, the inserting structure 124 can position the plate-end metal cover 12 on the plate-end insulator 11.
The board terminal 13 receives and transmits the electronic signal to the circuit board 3 to provide the circuit board 3 with operation processing. The board-side power terminals 14 receive and transmit power to the circuit substrate 3 to provide the circuit substrate 3 with power required for operation. The board-end signal terminal 13 and the board-end power terminal 14 have different terminal structures according to the functions of the board-end signal terminal 13 and the board-end power terminal 14, so that the board-end signal terminal 13 has a smaller terminal structure than the board-end power terminal 14, thereby achieving the purpose of reducing the size of the board-end connector 1, and meeting the use requirements of light and thin electronic products.
In addition, as shown in fig. 2, the plurality of board-side power terminals 14 are respectively disposed on the left side or the right side of at least one board-side signal terminal 13, so as to prevent the power source from affecting the transmission of the electronic signals of the board-side signal terminal 13, thereby improving the electrical characteristics of the board-side connector 1 of the present application to meet the use requirement.
Referring to fig. 3, 13 and 14, in another embodiment of the present application, the wire end insulator 21 further has a wire end guiding structure 212, and a stopping structure 114 is further disposed on the plate end insulator 11. In the present embodiment, the wire end guiding structure 212 is, for example, a convex strip disposed on two opposite sides of the wire end clamping structure 211, and the board end guiding structure 111 is, for example, a concave groove disposed on two opposite sides of the board end insulator 11, so that the wire end insulator 21 enters the body of the board end insulator 11 by the wire end guiding structure 212 cooperating with the board end guiding structure 111 until the wire end insulator 21 abuts against the stopping structure 114 of the board end insulator 11.
Preferably, a visible window 125 is further disposed on the board end metal cover 12, wherein when the board end metal cover 12 covers the board end insulator 11 and abuts against the board end insulator 11, the visible window 125 on the board end metal cover 12 can expose the stopping structure 114 on the board end insulator 11, so that when the wire end insulator 21 is mounted in the body of the board end insulator 11, an operator can see directly whether the wire end insulator 21 abuts against the stopping structure 114, to confirm whether the wire end insulator 21 has reached a predetermined position in the board end insulator 11, thereby facilitating to confirm that the board end connector and the wire end connector can be smoothly clamped with each other, and facilitating the mounting operation.

4. The plate end connector of claim 3, wherein the fastening structure is a recessed structure or a raised structure.
5. The plate end connector of claim 1 wherein the plate end metal cover has at least one insert structure that is inserted over the plate end insulator to maintain the position of the plate end metal cover relative to the plate end insulator.

The plate end connector of claim 1, further comprising: the at least one board end signal terminal and the plurality of board end power supply terminals are respectively arranged on the left side or the right side of the at least one board end signal terminal, and the at least one board end signal terminal and the plurality of board end power supply terminals are respectively arranged on the board end insulator in a penetrating mode.
