The detection method and the detection device can judge whether the neutral line on the secondary side of the current transformer is in a broken line state or not, and effectively avoid making wrong judgment when the equipment is powered off through the first current acquisition module, so that the accuracy of a detection result is ensured, and the reliability of the detection device is improved.
