Detailed Description
The following detailed description of embodiments of the invention refers to the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the detailed description and specific examples, while indicating the present invention, are given by way of illustration and explanation only, not limitation.
When a user carries out audio-video call, the call is sometimes jammed due to poor quality of communication wireless signals. Moreover, because the two parties of the conversation cannot know which party has poor wireless signal quality to cause the conversation to be blocked, the situation that the user of one conversation terminal does not have any reaction after the user of the other conversation terminal continuously speaks often occurs, at this time, the user of the first conversation terminal does not know when the conversation is interrupted, that is, it is not clear which information is not received by the user of the other conversation terminal, and the conversation experience of the user is poor.
In order to solve the foregoing problem, an embodiment of the present invention provides a Session method, which is applied to a Session Management Function (SMF), and when a first Session terminal and a second Session terminal have a Session and a signal quality of the first Session terminal is lower than a preset quality threshold, as shown in fig. 1, the method includes the following steps:
step S101, receiving the session abnormal information generated and sent by the base station.
Wherein, the session exception information includes a session identifier of the session.
It should be noted that the session exception information is information sent by the base station to the session management function entity controlling the current session service of the first session terminal when the base station detects that the signal quality of the first session terminal is lower than the preset quality threshold value when the first session terminal and the second session terminal are in a session (such as voice call and video call). The base station is a base station providing a Radio Access service for a first session terminal in a Radio Access Network (RAN).
Step S102, identifying a user plane functional entity for conversation according to the conversation identification, and sending a conversation exception handling instruction to the user plane functional entity, so that the user plane functional entity can suspend sending the service data for conversation to the first conversation terminal according to the conversation exception handling instruction.
Wherein the service data for the session comprises two parts. The first part is that the user plane functional entity does not send a successful service data stream to the first session terminal before receiving the session exception handling instruction, wherein the service data stream comprises a video data stream and/or an audio data stream; and the second part is call data which is received and cached from the second session terminal after the user plane functional entity receives the session exception processing instruction, wherein the call data comprises video data and/or audio data.
In one embodiment, after receiving the session exception information, and before identifying a User Plane Function (UPF) for the session according to the session identifier, the session management Function entity corresponding to the first session terminal generates a session exception handling instruction based on the session exception information. The exception handling instruction contains a session identification. The exception handling instruction is used for causing the user plane functional entity to suspend sending the service data for the session to the first session terminal according to the session exception handling instruction, for example, causing the user plane functional entity to suspend sending the service data for the session to the first session terminal through the N3 interface according to the session exception handling instruction. Wherein the N3 interface is a network interface of the user plane functional entity with a radio access network in which the base station is located.
And step S103, sending prompt information of abnormal conversation quality of the conversation opposite terminal to the second conversation terminal based on the conversation identification.
In one embodiment, if the session management function entity corresponding to the first session terminal directly controls the current session service of the second session terminal, that is, the session management function entity corresponding to the first session terminal and the session management function entity corresponding to the second session terminal are the same session management function entity, the session management function entity directly sends the prompt information that the session quality of the opposite session terminal (that is, the first session terminal) is abnormal to the second session terminal based on the session identifier, so as to prompt the second session terminal that the first session terminal cannot normally perform the session service currently.
In another embodiment, if the session management functional entity corresponding to the first session terminal does not control the current session service of the second session terminal, that is, the session management functional entity corresponding to the first session terminal and the session management functional entity corresponding to the second session terminal are different session management functional entities, the step of sending the prompt information that the session quality of the session opposite terminal is abnormal to the second session terminal by the session management functional entity corresponding to the first session terminal based on the session identifier includes: and the session management functional entity corresponding to the first session terminal sends prompt information of abnormal conversation quality of the opposite terminal to a second session management functional entity controlling the current session service of the second session terminal, so that the second session management functional entity receives and sends the prompt information of abnormal conversation quality to the second session terminal. In this embodiment, the session management functional entity corresponding to the first session terminal may further receive a prompt execution feedback information from the second session management functional entity; the prompt execution feedback information is used for indicating that the second session management functional entity has successfully sent prompt information of abnormal call quality to the second session terminal, and the prompt execution feedback information contains a session identifier.
It should be noted that the prompt information of the abnormal call quality of the session opposite terminal is used for enabling the second session terminal to prompt that the opposite terminal of the current session of the user of the second session terminal cannot perform the call service temporarily due to the abnormal call quality, so that the user of the second session terminal knows the reason why no one responds after speaking, thereby improving the call experience of the user.
In one embodiment, after receiving the prompt execution feedback information, the session management functional entity corresponding to the first session terminal sends a first data processing instruction to the user plane functional entity based on the prompt execution feedback information, so that the user plane functional entity discards the session service data from the first session terminal based on the first data processing instruction, where the session service data from the first session terminal includes video data and/or voice data. It should be noted that the user plane functional entity may further selectively execute the first data processing instruction, that is, the user plane functional entity may further continue to send the session service data from the first session terminal to the second session terminal, although the session service data from the first session terminal may be jammed, unclear or have a mosaic at this time, since the second session terminal has received the prompt information that the session quality of the session peer is abnormal, the user of the second session terminal may not be bothered, and it is helpful for the user of the second session terminal to perceive the recovery of the session quality in real time after the recovery of the session quality of the first session terminal.
In one embodiment, in order to improve user experience and avoid telephone charge increase caused by session time extension due to abnormal session quality of a first session terminal and a second session terminal, a session management functional entity sends a prompt message of abnormal session opposite terminal session quality to the second session terminal based on a session identifier, and then sends a first charging processing instruction to a user plane functional entity, so that the user plane functional entity sends a call suspension charging message to a charging system based on the first charging processing instruction, wherein the call suspension charging message is used for enabling the charging system to suspend charging a session corresponding to the session identifier; the suspend to talk charging message includes the session identifier.
In an embodiment, the session management functional entity corresponding to the first session terminal may also send the first accounting processing instruction and the session exception handling instruction in step 102 to the user plane functional entity at the same time.
In one embodiment, after the session management function entity sends a first charging processing instruction to the user plane function entity to enable the user plane function entity to send a call charging suspension message to a charging system based on the first charging processing instruction, the method further includes:
and responding to the session recovery information sent by the base station, and sending a session recovery processing instruction to the corresponding user plane functional entity so that the user plane functional entity can continue to send service data for the session to the first session terminal according to the session recovery processing instruction. The session recovery processing instruction is used for enabling the user plane functional entity to continue to send the service data for the session to the first session terminal according to the session recovery processing instruction, for example, enabling the user plane functional entity to continue to send the service data for the session to the first session terminal through the N3 interface according to the session recovery processing instruction.
Specifically, the base station detects that the first session terminal is in a session state, and the wireless signal quality of the first session terminal has recovered to be normal, that is, the signal quality of the first session terminal reaches a preset quality threshold, which indicates that the session can continue to be performed normally. Therefore, the base station generates the session recovery information and sends the session recovery information to the session management functional entity corresponding to the first session terminal, wherein the session recovery information includes the session identifier of the session.
In one embodiment, the session management functional entity corresponding to the first session terminal may further send a prompt message for session quality recovery to the first session terminal in response to the session recovery message sent by the base station, so that the first session terminal prompts the user to recover the session quality. In addition, if the session management functional entity corresponding to the first session terminal directly controls the current session service of the second session terminal, the session management functional entity responds to the session recovery information sent by the base station, and can also send a prompt message for recovering the session quality of the session opposite terminal to the second session terminal. If the session management functional entity corresponding to the first session terminal does not control the current session service of the second session terminal, the session management functional entity sends prompt information for restoring the session quality of the opposite terminal to the second session management functional entity controlling the current session service of the second session terminal, so that the second session management functional entity receives and sends the prompt information for restoring the session quality to the second session terminal. The prompt message for recovering the conversation quality of the conversation opposite end comprises a conversation identification.
In one embodiment, after the session management functional entity corresponding to the first session terminal sends the session recovery processing instruction to the user plane functional entity in response to the session recovery information sent by the base station, the method further includes:
the session management functional entity sends a second charging processing instruction to the user plane functional entity so that the user plane functional entity sends a message for recovering the call charging to a charging system based on the second charging processing instruction; and the call recovery charging message is used for enabling the charging system to continue charging the session corresponding to the session identifier, and the call recovery charging message contains the session identifier.
In one embodiment, in order to prevent the situation that the signal quality of the first session terminal is lower than the preset quality threshold for a long time, which results in a long waiting time for the user, the session management functional entity further includes, after performing step S103 and before sending a session recovery processing instruction to the user plane functional entity in response to the session recovery information sent by the base station:
the session management functional entity starts a first overtime timer, if the session management functional entity receives session recovery information within a first preset time period, the first overtime timer is closed, and the steps of responding to the session recovery information sent by the base station and sending a session recovery processing instruction to the user plane functional entity are executed. And if the session management functional entity does not receive the session recovery information beyond the first preset time period, ending the session corresponding to the session identifier. The first preset time period is a preset time period in the first timeout timer.
And after the session corresponding to the session identifier is ended, the session management functional entity starts a second timeout timer, and after a second preset time period is exceeded, a session connection request is simultaneously initiated to the first session terminal and the second session terminal so as to assist the first session terminal and the second session terminal in reestablishing the session. The second preset time period is a preset time period in the second timeout timer. It should be noted that, after the first session terminal and the second session terminal reestablish the session, the session management functional entity sends a third charging processing instruction to the user plane functional entity, so that the user plane functional entity sends the combined call charging message to the charging system based on the third charging processing instruction. The combined conversation charging message is used for enabling the charging system to combine the conversation reestablished by the first conversation terminal and the second conversation terminal with the conversation ended by the conversation management functional entity of the first conversation terminal and the second conversation terminal for charging.
According to the conversation method provided by the embodiment of the invention, when a first conversation terminal and a second conversation terminal are in conversation and the signal quality of the first conversation terminal is lower than a preset quality threshold, conversation abnormal information generated and sent by a base station is received, wherein the conversation abnormal information comprises a conversation identifier of the conversation; then, identifying a user plane functional entity used for the session according to the session identifier, and sending a session exception handling instruction to the user plane functional entity, so that the user plane functional entity suspends sending service data used for the session to the first session terminal according to the session exception handling instruction; and finally, sending prompt information of abnormal conversation quality of the conversation opposite end to the second conversation terminal based on the conversation identification, so that the user of the second conversation terminal can know the reason of no response after speaking, and the conversation experience of the user is improved.
An embodiment of the present invention provides a session management functional entity, as shown in fig. 2, the session management functional entity includes: a first SMF receiving module 21, a first SMF identifying module 22, a first SMF transmitting module 23 and a second SMF transmitting module 24.

Wherein the service data for the session comprises two parts. The first part is that the user plane functional entity does not send successful service data stream to the first session terminal before receiving the session exception handling instruction, and the service data stream comprises video data stream and audio data stream; and the second part is call data which is received and cached from the second session terminal after the user plane functional entity receives the session exception processing instruction, wherein the call data comprises video data and/or audio data.
In one embodiment, the session management function further includes a first SMF generation module. After the first SMF receiving module 21 receives the session exception information, before the first SMF generating module identifies the user plane functional entity for the session according to the session identifier, a session exception handling instruction is generated based on the session exception information.
And the second SMF sending module 24 is configured to send, to the second session terminal, prompt information that the session quality of the session peer is abnormal based on the session identifier.

In order to prevent the situation that the signal quality of the first session terminal is lower than the preset quality threshold for a long time, which results in a long waiting time for the user, the first SMF executing module starts the first timeout timer before the first SMF sending module 23 responds to send the session recovery processing instruction to the user plane functional entity. The second SMF executing module is configured to end the session corresponding to the session identifier if the first SMF receiving module 21 does not receive the session recovery information after exceeding the first preset time period. The first preset time period is a preset time period in the first timeout timer. If the first SMF receiving module 21 receives the session recovery information within the first preset time period, the third SMF executing module closes the first timeout timer.
And the fourth SMF execution module is used for starting a second timeout timer after the second SMF execution module finishes the session corresponding to the session identification. And the first SMF calling module is used for simultaneously initiating a conversation connection request to the first conversation terminal and the second conversation terminal after a second preset time period is exceeded so as to assist the first conversation terminal and the second conversation terminal to reestablish a conversation. The second preset time period is a preset time period in the second timeout timer.

Step S306, the second session management functional entity receives the prompt message of the abnormal session quality of the session peer, and forwards the prompt message of the abnormal session quality of the session peer to the second session terminal.
Step S307, the first session management functional entity sends the first charging processing instruction to the user plane functional entity.
Step S308, the user plane functional entity receives the first charging processing instruction and sends a message of charging for suspending the call to the charging system based on the first charging processing instruction. The suspend to talk charging message contains a session identification.
Step S309, the charging system receives the call suspension charging message, and suspends charging the session corresponding to the session identifier based on the call suspension charging message. The suspend to talk charging message contains a session identification.
Step S310, when the base station detects that the signal quality of the first session terminal is higher than or equal to the preset quality threshold, the base station generates session recovery information and sends the session recovery information to a first session management function entity which controls the current session service of the first session terminal. Wherein the session recovery information comprises a session identification of the session.
Step S311, the first session management functional entity receives the session recovery information, closes the first timeout timer, generates a session recovery processing instruction and a second charging processing instruction, and sends the session recovery processing instruction and the second charging processing instruction to the user plane functional entity.
It should be noted that, if the first session management functional entity does not receive the session recovery information after exceeding the first preset time period, the session corresponding to the session identifier is ended, and the second timeout timer is started. The preset time period in the second timeout timer is a second preset time period. And after the second preset time period is exceeded, the first session management functional entity simultaneously initiates a call connection request to the first session terminal and the second session terminal.
In step S312, the first session management functional entity further sends a prompt message for recovering the session quality to the first session terminal based on the session recovery information.
Step S313, the user plane functional entity receives the session recovery processing instruction, and continues to send the service data for the session to the first session terminal according to the session recovery processing instruction.
Step S314, the user plane functional entity receives and sends the second charging processing instruction, and sends a message of recovering the call charging to the charging system according to the second charging processing instruction. The resume call charging message contains a session identification.
Step S315, the charging system receives the call charge resuming message and continues to charge the session corresponding to the session identifier based on the call charge resuming message. Wherein, the charging message of the call recovery contains the session identifier.
In addition, for specific relevant descriptions of the session method in the embodiment shown in fig. 3, reference may be made to corresponding descriptions of the foregoing embodiments, which are not described herein again.
It will be understood that the above embodiments are merely exemplary embodiments taken to illustrate the principles of the present invention, which is not limited thereto. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and improvements can be made without departing from the spirit and substance of the invention, and these modifications and improvements are also considered to be within the scope of the invention.
