In the following description, specific details are provided, such as specific configurations and components, merely to facilitate a thorough understanding of embodiments of the invention. Thus, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made to the embodiments described herein without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention. In addition, descriptions of well-known functions and constructions are omitted for clarity and conciseness.
Unless defined otherwise, technical or scientific terms used herein shall have the ordinary meaning as understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which this invention belongs. The use of "first," "second," and the like, herein does not denote any order, quantity, or importance, but rather the terms "first," "second," and the like are used to distinguish one element from another. Also, the use of the terms "a" or "an" and the like do not denote a limitation of quantity, but rather denote the presence of at least one.
As shown in fig. 1, a flow-saving image stream transmission method provided in an embodiment of the present invention includes:
step 101, in an ith transmission cycle, acquiring a first image and a second image, wherein the second image is an ith frame image in an image stream, the first image is a previous frame image of the second image in the image stream, the first image comprises N first pixel regions, and i and N are integers greater than 1;
102, dividing the second image into N second pixel regions, wherein the N first pixel regions correspond to the N second pixel regions one to one, and the N first pixel regions are associated with the N second pixel regions through region numbers;
103, determining a target pixel area and an area number of the target pixel area from the N second pixel areas, wherein the target pixel area is the second pixel area, of the N second pixel areas, whose pixel data difference with the corresponding first pixel area satisfies a first preset condition;
and 104, transmitting the pixel data of the target pixel area and the area number of the target pixel area to a display device.
In this embodiment, the image stream may be acquired by a sensor of a camera type, for example; it will be readily appreciated that a plurality of images may be included in the image stream, for example, a camera may capture images in real time at a frequency to form the image stream. The purpose of acquiring the image stream may be considered to transmit the images included therein to a display device in real time for display.
The image stream typically includes a plurality of frames of images, each frame of image may include a plurality of pixels, and each pixel may have pixel data of a type such as brightness, color, pixel value, and the like. Based on the coordinate information and the like of a plurality of pixel points, each frame of image can be fixedly divided into N pixel areas, each pixel area can comprise one or more pixel points, and the pixel data of all the pixel points included in each pixel area form the pixel data of the pixel area. And for each pixel region, a corresponding region number may be associated.
The second image is the ith image in a plurality of images included in the image stream, where the image stream may refer to an image stream to be transmitted to the display device, and each frame of image in the image stream may be considered to have a transmission period, and on a real-time display occasion, the transmission period is usually less than or equal to an acquisition period of the camera, so as to meet a real-time transmission requirement of the image; the second image can be regarded as an image which needs to be transmitted in the ith transmission period, and the first image is an image of a frame before the second image. If the content currently displayed in the display device corresponds to the first image, the effect of replacing the content corresponding to the first image with the content corresponding to the second image in the display device needs to be achieved subsequently, so as to meet the requirement of real-time display.
In this embodiment, instead of directly sending the pixel data of all the pixel regions of the second image to the display device for display, the second image is divided into N second pixel regions, and the N second pixel regions are compared with the N first pixel regions included in the first image one by one, so as to determine the target pixel region, and the pixel data of the target pixel region and the region number of the target pixel region are transmitted to the display device.
Specifically, in a general case, the pixel sizes and resolutions of the first image and the second image are consistent, and each image may be fixedly divided into N pixel regions according to a certain rule according to the coordinate positions of the pixels, where the first pixel region may be regarded as a pixel region included in the first image, and the first image may have been divided into N first pixel regions according to the rule before the transmission period corresponding to the second image; in the transmission period corresponding to the second image, after the second image is acquired, the second image may be similarly divided into N pixel regions according to the rule, where the N pixel regions are the N second pixel regions.
The coordinate positions of the N first pixel areas and the N second pixel areas on the corresponding images can be in one-to-one correspondence, so that in order to facilitate comparison, the pixel areas on each image can be numbered to obtain area numbers, the first pixel areas with the same area numbers in the first image and the second image are compared with the second pixel areas respectively, and comparison results of each second pixel area in the N second pixel areas in the second image can be obtained respectively; the alignment is used to reflect: whether the difference between the pixel data of each second pixel region and the pixel data of the first pixel region corresponding to the second pixel region (i.e., the pixel data difference) satisfies a first predetermined condition is determined. When the pixel data difference corresponding to a certain second pixel region meets the first preset condition, the second pixel region may be determined as the target pixel region.
The first preset condition here may mean that pixel value sequences corresponding to all pixel points in the pixel region are different, or the number of the pixel values having a difference in the pixel value sequences exceeds a certain value or ratio, and the like, and is not specifically limited here.
After the target pixel area is determined, the pixel data of the target pixel area and the area number of the target pixel area can be transmitted to the display device; the display device can update the current display content according to the pixel data and the area number. For example, when the display device currently displays the content corresponding to the first image, and the pixel data of the first image in the first pixel region with the region number of 20 is D1, after receiving the pixel data D2 of the target pixel region with the region number of 20, the display region corresponding to the region number of 20 in the display device may be updated and displayed as the pixel data D2 by the pixel data D1.
The method for transmitting the provincial flow image stream, provided by the embodiment of the invention, comprises the steps of acquiring a first image and a second image in an ith transmission period, wherein the first image is a previous frame image of the second image in the image stream and comprises N first pixel areas; the method comprises the steps of dividing a second image into N second pixel regions in one-to-one correspondence with the N first pixel regions, determining a target pixel region from the N second pixel regions, wherein the difference between pixel data and the pixel data of the corresponding first pixel region meets a first preset condition, and transmitting the pixel data of the target pixel region and a region number of the target pixel region to a display device. In this embodiment, when the second image of the image stream is transmitted in the ith transmission cycle, only the pixel data and the area number of the target pixel area having the pixel data difference with the previous frame image in the second image need to be transmitted to the display double speed, so that the direct transmission of all the pixel data of the second image can be effectively avoided, thereby effectively reducing the requirement on the transmission rate, further effectively ensuring the transmission timeliness of the image stream, contributing to improving the smoothness of the display image of the display device, and improving the display effect.
Optionally, before the acquiring the first image and the second image, the method further includes:
transmitting all pixel data of a first frame image in the image stream to a display device.
It is easy to understand that when the first frame image of the image stream is transmitted, there may be no image for performing pixel data comparison, so that all the pixel data of the first frame image can be directly transmitted to the display device, thereby facilitating the display device to display the real-time image.
Of course, in some possible embodiments, an initial image may be set for comparing the pixel data of the sub-pixel region with the pixel data of the first frame image of the image stream; for example, the initial image may be a completely black image, and thus, when a non-black pixel appears in the first frame image of the image stream, the target pixel region may be determined, and the pixel data of the target pixel region and the region number of the target pixel region may be transmitted to the display device; the image initially displayed by the display device may also be a completely black image, and the display content may be updated after the pixel data and the area number are received, so that the effect of reducing the data transmission amount may also be achieved.
Optionally, in the case that i is greater than the preset value P, the step 103 of determining a target pixel region from the N second pixel regions includes:
determining a candidate pixel area, wherein the candidate pixel area is a second pixel area of the N second pixel areas except for a third pixel area, the third pixel area is a second pixel area with a first area number in the N second pixel areas, and in each frame image of a previous P frame image of the image stream, pixel data of the pixel area corresponding to the first area number are preset pixel data, where P is an integer greater than 1;
and determining a target pixel area from the candidate pixel areas.
In practical applications, for devices such as electronic endoscopes, a specific aspect ratio, for example, 16:9, may exist for each frame of image in the acquired image stream; however, in use, due to factors such as the illumination range or the position or performance of the light-sensing element, the pixel data actually useful in the image may only be present in certain areas of the image, for example, a circular area in the middle of the image.
In order to reduce the number of times of comparing the second pixel region with the first pixel region in determining the target pixel region, in this embodiment, the region where the actually useful pixel data is located is first screened to obtain a candidate pixel region, and then only the target pixel region needs to be determined from the candidate pixel region, so that the determination speed of the target pixel region can be effectively increased, and the calculation resources are saved.
Specifically, the present embodiment determines the candidate pixel region by excluding the third pixel region, and as described above, the pixel regions in each frame image may be associated by the region numbers, and for convenience of description, the pixel regions in each frame image are mainly represented by the region numbers.
In this embodiment, statistics may be performed on a previous P frame image in the image stream, and if pixel data of a certain area number in the previous P frame image is preset pixel data, for example, pixel points in one area number are all black, or gray levels of the pixel points are all higher than a gray threshold, and the like, the area number may be determined as the first area number, and a second pixel area corresponding to the area number is determined as a third pixel area.
P is a preset value, for example, 200, 300, etc., and can be set according to actual needs. In some possible embodiments, the determination of the first area number may be performed after the P-th transmission period is finished; and under the condition that the i is larger than the preset value P, in the ith transmission period, determining the third pixel region and the candidate pixel region directly based on the determined first region number.
In one example, the pixel data comprises a sequence of RGB values; the first preset condition comprises the following steps: the RGB value sequence of the second pixel region is different from the RGB value sequence of the first pixel region corresponding to the second pixel region.
It is easy to understand that the RGB value is a value determined based on an RGB color pattern, the RGB color pattern is obtained by changing three color channels of Red (Red, R), Green (Green, G), and Blue (Blue, B) and superimposing them with each other, RGB represents three color channels of Red, Green, and Blue, and a value range of each color channel may be 0 to 255. For example, the RGB value of black may be (0,0,0), the RGB value of red may be (255,0,0), and the RGB value of green may be (0,255, 0).
For a pixel region, one or more pixel points may be included, each pixel point has a corresponding RGB value, and an RGB value sequence may be obtained by arranging the RGB values of all the pixel points in the pixel region.
In this example, whether the pixel data of any second pixel region is different from the pixel data of the corresponding first pixel region is determined by the RGB value sequence, and whether the second pixel region is the target pixel region is determined according to the determination result. The first pixel region corresponds to the second pixel region, and the first pixel region and the second pixel region are mainly the same in corresponding region number. Because the RGB value sequence can completely reflect the specific color of each pixel, the processing such as binaryzation and the like for each image in the image stream is not needed, the image processing time is saved, the determination speed of the target pixel area is higher, and the color reality degree of the display content on the display equipment is also favorably ensured.
Optionally, after the transmitting the pixel data of the target pixel region and the region number of the target pixel region to the display device, the method further includes:
receiving a first instruction;
and transmitting all pixel data of the second image to a display device in response to the first instruction.
In the traffic-saving image stream transmission method provided by the embodiment of the invention, the difference pixel data between two adjacent frames of images is transmitted, and the display content is updated by the display equipment according to the difference pixel data. In order to avoid the situation that the content displayed by the display device is distorted due to the occurrence of abnormality or error accumulation in the transmission of the difference pixel data, in this embodiment, all the pixel data of the second image may be directly transmitted to the display device under the condition that the first instruction is received, so that the real-time image is updated to the display device.
The first instruction may be generated by a user operating on a display device, or may be generated by a user operating on an electronic device such as an electronic endoscope for executing the above-described low-throughput image streaming method, and is not particularly limited herein.
Optionally, the transmitting the pixel data of the target pixel region and the region number of the target pixel region to a display device includes:
assembling the area number of the target pixel area as an object attribute and the pixel data of the target pixel area as a value of the object attribute to obtain target transmission data;
and transmitting the target transmission data to the display device.
In this embodiment, a JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) format may be adopted to transmit the pixel data and the region number of the target pixel region.
JSON is a string representation of a JavaScript object that uses text to represent the information of a JavaScript object, essentially a string. In JavaScript, the target transfer data may be of an object type, for example, in one transfer process, the area numbers of the target pixel areas are 20 and 21, the pixel data (RGB values for example) of the target pixel areas of the two area numbers are AABBs 33 and 1122CC, respectively, and the data structure of the target transfer data may be { 20: AABB33, 21: 1122CC, and the data structure is expressed by JSON format and then transmitted to a display device.
In this embodiment, the JSON-formatted target transmission data is used to transmit the region number and the pixel data of the target pixel region to the display device, which is convenient for generation and analysis of the transmission data and can effectively improve the transmission speed.
