Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a terminal and a peripheral for the terminal, wherein the terminal includes: a terminal body (10) having a smooth surface; and the protruding part (20) is connected to the terminal body (10), and an antenna (30) is arranged on the part, which can protrude out of the smooth surface, of the protruding part (20). The technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the disclosure can have the following beneficial effects: the antenna is arranged at the position of the convex part protruding out of the smooth surface of the terminal body, the arrangement is convenient, the internal space of the terminal body can be saved, the internal structural design requirement of the terminal body is reduced, the transmission of wireless signals is facilitated, and high-speed data communication is realized. The protruding part provides more arrangement space for the antennas, so that more antennas can be arranged to realize a MIMO big data working mode.

The present disclosure relates to the field of electronic devices, and in particular, to a terminal and a peripheral for the terminal.
Background
With the rapid development of electronic information technology, the data communication requirements of users on electronic equipment terminals are also higher and higher. For example, with the advent of the 5G era, in order to realize point-to-point high-speed large broadband data communication and provide a better user high-speed data experience scene, an additional antenna needs to be added on a terminal device. On one hand, the internal arrangement space of the terminal equipment is limited, and an additional antenna accommodating space cannot be provided, so that the design requirement on the whole equipment body is high; on the other hand, the antenna is hidden in the terminal device, which may affect the signal transmission, resulting in serious signal attenuation and failing to meet the requirement of high-speed data transmission.

The technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the disclosure can have the following beneficial effects: the antenna is arranged at the position of the convex part protruding out of the smooth surface of the terminal body, the arrangement is convenient, the internal space of the terminal body can be saved, the internal structural design requirement of the terminal body is reduced, the transmission of wireless signals is facilitated, and high-speed data communication is realized. Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. In the present disclosure, unless otherwise stated, the terms of orientation such as "front" and "rear" are defined according to the normal use state of the terminal, for example, when the terminal is used normally, the side facing the user is front, and the corresponding other side is rear; the terms "inner" and "outer" are generally used with respect to the inherent contours of the respective component parts. In addition, the terms "first", "second", and the like used in the embodiments of the present disclosure are for distinguishing one element from another, and have no order or importance.
Referring to fig. 1, the disclosed embodiment provides a terminal including a terminal body 10 and a protrusion 20. Wherein, the terminal body 10 has a smooth surface, which generally refers to the outer surface of the terminal body 10, and here, "smooth" does not only mean that the outer surface of the terminal body 10 is a plane, but also a curved surface with a gentle transition, etc.; the protruding portion 20 is connected to the terminal body 10, and a portion of the protruding portion 20 that can protrude from a smooth surface is provided with an antenna 30. It should be noted that, the protrusion 20 in the present disclosure is relative to the continuous and smooth surface of the terminal body 10, and the protruding form of the protrusion 20 is not only determined, but may be selectively protruded from the inside of the terminal body 10 in the following embodiments, and may also be a protruding structure fixed on the smooth surface of the terminal body 10 in the following embodiments, which is not limited by the present disclosure.
Like this, antenna 30 sets up the position that projects in terminal body 10 smooth surface at bulge 20, and the installation and the laying of antenna 30 of being convenient for not only can save terminal body 10's inner space, reduce terminal body 10 internal structure design requirement, but also be favorable to wireless signal's transmission, avoid signal attenuation, can carry out the beam scanning fast when using to realize high-speed data communication. Since the protruding part 20 provides a larger arrangement space for the antennas 30, a larger number of antennas 30 may be provided to realize a MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) big data operation mode.
Further, the antenna 30 may be a millimeter wave antenna. The millimeter wave has a wide bandwidth and a high data rate, can meet the requirement of big data, and has short millimeter wave wavelength, small antenna volume, small occupied product space and capability of saving space. Since the millimeter wave is greatly affected by the environment, the signal is easily attenuated, and in the present disclosure, the millimeter wave antenna is disposed on the protruding portion 20 of the terminal, and compared to the case where the antenna is hidden in the terminal body 10, the attenuation of the signal can be effectively alleviated.
As mentioned above, the protrusion 20 may be movably connected to the terminal body 10, that is, the protrusion 20 may be a dynamic mechanism or a movable mechanism on the terminal, and the antenna 30 is disposed on the dynamic mechanism of the terminal, so that an integrated design of the dynamic mechanism and the antenna 30 can be realized; alternatively, the protruding portion 20 may be fixed to the terminal body 10, that is, the antenna 30 is fixed in position with respect to the terminal body 10.
According to some embodiments, referring to fig. 1, the protruding portion 20 may include a first camera module that is ejectable or retractable from the terminal body 10, which may be, for example, a front camera module of a smartphone designed to implement a full screen. In this way, when the large data communication (such as video communication) is required, the first camera module is ejected from the inside of the terminal body 10, the antenna 30 arranged thereon operates simultaneously to perform signal transmission, and when the large data communication is not required, the first camera module is retracted to the inside of the terminal body 10.
According to other embodiments, the protruding portion 20 may further include an audio module that can be ejected from or retracted into the terminal body 10, and the audio module may be used to receive or emit an audio signal to meet the requirement of big data audio communication. The audio module and the first camera module can be integrated on a dynamic mechanism, and can also be respectively formed on different dynamic mechanisms to respectively and selectively pop up.
According to other embodiments, referring to fig. 2, the protruding part 20 may further include a second camera module fixed on the terminal body 10. The second camera module is fixed on the outer side of the smooth surface of the terminal body 10, and the antenna 30 arranged on the second camera module can transmit wireless signals at any time, so that the terminal is more convenient and faster to use. The second camera module can be, for example, a rear camera of the terminal.
Of course, the protrusion 20 may also include the first camera module, the second camera module and the audio module, so as to provide a larger arrangement space for the antenna 30.
Further, referring to fig. 1, the antenna 30 may be a conformal antenna attached to the outer contour of the protrusion 20, so that the structural shape of the protrusion 20 can be fully utilized, and a large number of antennas 30 can be provided as much as possible.
In addition, according to the embodiment provided by the present disclosure, the terminal may be a mobile terminal such as a smart phone or a tablet computer, or may also be an intelligent home device such as a video interphone, an intelligent camera, a network appliance, and the like. By taking the household visual talkback as an example, when the audio module which can be popped out of the body is arranged on the visual talkback equipment, the continuity of sound and pictures during talkback can be improved, and the situation that the conversation is not blocked is ensured.
According to a second aspect of the embodiments of the present disclosure, there is provided a peripheral for a terminal, which is electrically connectable with the terminal, wherein the peripheral may be provided with an antenna 30 that allows the terminal to receive a wireless signal. That is, besides the antenna 30 directly disposed on the terminal, it can be disposed on an external device electrically connected to the terminal, so as to transmit signals to the terminal through the external device, which can further avoid adding an antenna accommodating space on the terminal, and further reduce the difficulty of the structural design of the terminal body 10 while realizing the large data transmission of the terminal.
According to some embodiments, when the terminal is a mobile terminal such as a smart phone, referring to fig. 3, the peripheral device may be a facial beautifier 50 connected to the terminal, and may provide a light supplement function during self-photographing, and the antenna 30 is disposed on the facial beautifier 50; referring to fig. 4, the peripheral device may also be a self-timer stick 40 capable of being electrically connected to the terminal, and the antenna 30 is correspondingly provided on the self-timer stick 40.

Claims (10)

1. A terminal, comprising:
a terminal body (10) having a smooth surface; and
and the protruding part (20) is connected to the terminal body (10), and an antenna (30) is arranged on the part, which can protrude out of the smooth surface, of the protruding part (20).

6. A terminal according to any of claims 1-5, characterized in that the antenna (30) is a conformal antenna attached to the outer contour of the protrusion (20).
7. The terminal according to claim 1, wherein the terminal is a mobile phone or a tablet computer.
8. The terminal according to claim 1, wherein the terminal is an intelligent home device.
9. A peripheral for a terminal, electrically connectable to the terminal, characterized in that the peripheral is provided with an antenna (30) enabling the terminal to receive wireless signals.
10. The peripheral device according to claim 9, wherein the peripheral device is a selfie stick (40) or a beauty salon (50).
