< method examples >
Fig. 2 is a process flow diagram of a switching method of a search engine according to one embodiment of the present invention. The method is implemented by the electronic device 1000 of fig. 1.
As shown in fig. 2, the switching method of the search engine may include the following steps S2100-S2200.
Step S2100 detects whether the first search engine in the search engine list is successfully connected, and obtains a detection result.
In the present embodiment, step S2100 may include the following steps S2110 to S2120.
Step S2110, a connection request is sent to a server, wherein the connection request carries a domain name of the first search engine.
And S2120, receiving a response result returned by the server, and determining a detection result according to the response result.
For example, the first search engine has a domain name of www.aaa.com. The electronic equipment sends an http connection request of the first search engine to the server, wherein the http connection request carries the domain name of the first search engine. The server responds based on the http connection request to obtain an http state code representing a response result, and returns the http state code to the electronic equipment. And the electronic equipment determines whether the first search engine is successfully connected according to the http status code. When the http status code is 200, the electronic device may determine that the first search engine connection is successful, and when the http status code is another status code, the electronic device may determine that the first search engine connection is failed.
In step S2200, when the detection result is that the first search engine is not successfully connected, the first search engine is switched to a second search engine in the search engine list to detect whether the second search engine is successfully connected.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the electronic device may refer to the above steps S2110 to S2120 in a manner of detecting whether each search engine in the search engine list is successfully connected.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the method for switching search engines may further include step S2300, where in a case that the detection result is that the first search engine is successfully connected, a search operation is performed based on the search keyword by using the first search engine.
When the detection result is that the first search engine is successfully connected, it can be determined that the first search engine can be used without switching to other search engines in the search engine list.
In an embodiment of the present invention, before performing step S2100, the method for switching search engines further includes step S2400, generating a search engine list in response to a user-triggered configuration operation of search engine priorities, where a priority level of a first search engine is higher than that of a second search engine.
In this embodiment, the user can configure the priority of the search engine according to the requirement of the user. The search engine to be configured may be a search engine that is manually added by the user.
It should be noted that the number of search engines in the search engine list is not limited to two, and may be other numbers, for example, five, ten, and so on.
In one embodiment of the invention, in the event that none of the search engines in the search engine list are successfully connected, a message is issued prompting the user that the search engine is unavailable.
Taking the number of search engines in the search engine list as four as an example, when the first search engine is not successfully connected, the first search engine is switched to the second search engine, and whether the second search engine is successfully connected is detected. And when the second search engine is not successfully connected, switching the second search engine to a third search engine, and detecting whether the third search engine is successfully connected. When the third search engine is not successfully connected, a message is sent to prompt the user that the search engine is unavailable.
In one embodiment of the present invention, before performing steps S2100-S2200, it is first detected whether an event occurs that triggers the detection of whether the first search engine is successfully connected. The event is an operation of clicking a search box of the browser triggered by a user. And under the condition that the event is detected to occur, executing the step of detecting whether the first search engine in the search engine list is successfully connected or not to obtain a detection result.
According to the switching method of the search engines provided by the embodiment of the invention, the detection result is obtained by detecting whether the first search engine in the search engine list is successfully connected, and the first search engine is switched to the second search engine in the search engine list to detect whether the second search engine is successfully connected or not under the condition that the detection result is that the first search engine is not successfully connected.
< example >
Fig. 3 is a process flow diagram of a method of switching search engines according to one example of the invention.
According to fig. 3, the switching method of the search engine may include the following steps S301 to S311.
Step S301, in response to a user-triggered configuration operation of search engine priorities, generates a search engine list.
The search engine to be configured may be a search engine that is manually added by the user. The number of search engines in the search engine list may be any number. In the present embodiment, the number of search engines is set to n.
Before the user initiates a search request, step S302 is executed to send an http connection request of the ith search engine to the server, and receive a connection request response result returned by the server. Where the value of i first takes 1 and the 1 st search engine has the highest priority.
Specifically, the electronic device sends an http connection request of the 1 st search engine to the server, where the http connection request carries a domain name of the 1 st search engine. The server responds based on the http connection request to obtain an http state code representing a response result, and returns the http state code to the electronic equipment. And the electronic equipment determines whether the first search engine is successfully connected according to the http status code.
Step S303, according to the connection request response result, detecting whether the ith search engine in the search engine list is successfully connected.
In case the ith search engine is successfully connected, step S304 is performed to perform a search operation based on the search keyword using the ith search engine.
If the ith search engine is not successfully connected, step S305 is executed to check whether the ith search engine is the search engine with the lowest priority level.
Specifically, the numerical value corresponding to i is compared with the number n of search engines included in the search engine list to obtain a comparison result. And when the comparison result shows that the value corresponding to the i is smaller than the value n, determining that the ith search engine is not the search engine with the lowest priority level. And when the comparison result shows that the value corresponding to the i is equal to the value of n, determining that the ith search engine is the search engine with the lowest priority level.
In the case where the ith search engine is the search engine of the lowest priority level, step S306 is performed to issue a message prompting the user that the search engine is unavailable.
In the case where the ith search engine is not the search engine of the lowest priority level, step S307 is executed to switch the ith search engine to the i +1 th search engine in the search engine list. I.e., switching the 1 st search engine to the 2 nd search engine in the search engine list. Wherein the 2 nd search engine has a lower priority level than the 1 st search engine.
And then, the operation related to the step S302 is executed, that is, sending an http connection request of the 2 nd search engine to the server, and receiving a connection request response result returned by the server.
In case the 2 nd search engine is successfully connected, the operation involved in step S304, i.e., the search operation based on the search keyword is performed by the 2 nd search engine, is performed.
In the case that the 2 nd search engine is not successfully connected, step S305 is performed to check whether the i-th search engine is the search engine of the lowest priority level. And so on.
