Referring to fig. 2, 3 and 4, the first embodiment of the waterproof slide fastener of the present invention comprises two fastener tapes 3, a fastener chain unit 4, and a slider 5.
Each of the chain belts 3 includes a belt body 31 disposed at an edge of the chain belt 3, and a plurality of teeth 32 disposed at intervals along a length direction D1 of the chain belt 3. The sprocket 32 may be combined with the belt body 31 by sewing or threading. The slider 5 is movably provided for the teeth 32 to penetrate through, and a user operates the slider 5 to make the teeth 32 engage with each other in a staggered manner, thereby combining the two fastener tapes 3.
Specifically, the belt 31 may be selected from plastic, woven fabric, or non-woven fabric, and the sprocket 32 may be selected from metal, such as copper alloy or aluminum alloy, or plastic. Since the related structures and materials of the belt 31 and the sprocket 32 are well known in the art, further description is omitted here.
The clip chain unit 4 includes a first clip chain 41 and a second clip chain 42 respectively disposed on the belt body 31, and the first clip chain 41 and the second clip chain 42 can be mutually engaged.
In detail, the first clip chain 41 extends along the length direction D1 of the chain belt 3 and is disposed on the periphery of the teeth 32 of one of the chain belts 3, and has two first male fasteners 411 that extend along the length direction D1 of the chain belt 3 and are disposed at intervals along the width direction D2 of the chain belt 3 and are long, and a slot 412 is defined between the two first male fasteners 411. The second clip chain 42 extends along the length direction D1 of the chain belt 3 and is disposed on the periphery of the teeth 32 of the other chain belt 3, and has a second male fastener 421 extending along the length direction D1 of the chain belt 3, being long-strip-shaped, and having a position corresponding to the engaging groove 412, wherein the second male fastener 421 and the engaging groove 412 can be engaged with each other by means of snap-fitting.
The first clip chain 41 and the second clip chain 42 may be made of, but not limited to, Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) by hot press molding. It should be noted that the first male fastening components 411 and the second male fastening components 421 can also have different numbers or shapes according to the application or design, for example, the second clip chain 42 can be the same as the first clip chain 41 and has two second male fastening components 421 and a slot therebetween, and when in use, only one of the first male fastening components 411 corresponds to the slot of the second clip chain 42, or one of the second male fastening components 421 corresponds to the slot 412 of the first clip chain 41, which can achieve the purpose of snap-in sealing, or the shapes of the first male fastening components 411 and the second male fastening components 421 can be changed to achieve better sealing. The first embodiment is described by way of example only, but the actual implementation is not limited thereto.
When a user uses the waterproof slide fastener according to the first embodiment of the present invention, the teeth 32 of the fastener tapes 3 are engaged with each other by pulling the slider 5, and when the teeth 32 are engaged, the second male fastener 421 of the second clip chain 42 disposed around the teeth 32 of the other fastener tape 3 is simultaneously engaged with the corresponding engaging groove 412 formed in the first clip chain 41 of the one fastener tape 3, so as to engage and seal the apertures 33 between the teeth 32, thereby achieving a better waterproof effect. The fastener elements 4 provided in the fastener elements 32 of the fastener tape 3 can assist the engagement of the fastener elements 32, thereby preventing the unhooking and extending the life of the waterproof slide fastener.
Referring to fig. 5, a second embodiment of the waterproof slide fastener of the present invention is substantially the same in structure as the first embodiment except that each of the fastener tapes 3 further includes a covering layer 34 provided on a corresponding one of the surfaces thereof, extending in a length direction D1 of the fastener tape 3 and covering the fastener elements 32. The clip chain unit 4 is a covering layer 34 provided on the fastener tape 3.
In detail, the cover layer 34 has a hydrophobic surface so that water cannot permeate through the cover layer 34. The covering layer 34 may be made of a material that is hydrophobic, such as Polyurethane (PU), or may be formed by coating a cloth layer with a hydrophobic coating. Each of the covering layers 34 has an overlapping surface 341 at an edge, and the overlapping surfaces 341 of the two covering layers 34 are opposite to each other and overlap each other when the two fastener tapes 3 are coupled.
The first clip chain 41 and the second clip chain 42 are respectively disposed on the overlapping surface 341. The two first male fastening members 411 of the first clip chain 41 extend along the length direction D1 of the chain belt 3 and are spaced apart along the height direction D3 of the chain belt 3, and the slot 412 is defined between two adjacent first male fastening members 411. The second male fastener 421 of the second clip chain 42 extends along the length direction D1 of the chain belt 3 and is located corresponding to the engaging groove 412. When the two chain belts 3 are engaged with each other via the chain teeth 32, the covering layers 34 are synchronously driven to approach each other to overlap the overlapping surfaces 341, so that the second male fasteners 421 disposed on the overlapping surfaces 341 of the covering layers 34 are engaged with the slots 412, thereby blocking moisture penetration. In addition, the invention is in snap joint in an up-down overlapping mode, and the waterproof effect can be more effectively achieved. In addition, the zipper unit 4 is arranged on the covering layer 34, so that the manufacturing process is relatively simple, and the production cost can be reduced.
Referring to fig. 6, the third embodiment of the waterproof slide fastener of the present invention has a structure similar to that of the first embodiment, and includes two fastener tapes 3, the fastener chain unit 4, and the slider 5. The difference is that the two link belts 3 of the third embodiment are not provided with the teeth 32, and the first clip chain 41 and the second clip chain 42 are respectively provided perpendicularly to the link belts 3. And the side wall of the slider 5 contacting the first clip chain 41 and the second clip chain 42 is respectively provided with a hook 51, and the first clip chain 41 and the second clip chain 42 are respectively provided with at least one first groove 414 and one second groove 424 for the hook 51 to be buckled.
In detail, the band 31 of each link belt 3 further includes an upper end surface 35 adjacent to the other band 31. The first clip chain 41 includes a first clip chain body 413 vertically disposed on the upper end surface 35 of one of the belt bodies 31 and extending along the length direction D1 of the chain belt 3, and a plurality of first male fasteners 411 extending along the length direction D1 of the chain belt 3 and arranged at intervals along the width direction D2 of the chain belt 3 and being in a long strip shape, and a slot 412 is defined between any two adjacent first male fasteners 411. The second clip chain 42 has a second clip chain body 422 vertically disposed on the upper end surface 35 of the other belt body 31 and extending along the length direction D1 of the chain belt 3, and at least one second male fastener 421 extending along the length direction D1 of the chain belt 3 and having a long strip shape and a position corresponding to the engaging slot 412 respectively, and the second male fastener 421 and the engaging slot 412 can be engaged with each other by buckling. In fig. 6, three first male fastening members 411 and two second male fastening members 421 are illustrated as an example, and when the second male fastening members 421 are plural, a locking groove 423 for locking any one of the first male fastening members 411 may be defined between any two adjacent second male fastening members 421. By changing the number of the first male fastener 411 and the second male fastener 421, the user can snap-engage the first male fastener 411 and the second male fastener 421 in different regions according to the thickness of the inner clothing during practical use, so as to adjust the space of the zipper after being zipped. However, in practical implementation, there may be only two first fastening members 411 and one second fastening member 421, which is not limited to this.
The slider 5 is disposed on one side of the fastener tapes 3 adjacent to each other, and the two hook members 51 of the slider 5 are slidably disposed in the first groove 414 and the second groove 424 along the longitudinal direction D1 of the fastener tapes 3, respectively, so that when a user pulls the slider 5 to move the fastener tapes 3 between the open position and the closed position, the engagement between the first clip chain 41 and the second clip chain 42 at the closed position can be further improved by pressing the hook members 51. Furthermore, the first grooves 414 and the second grooves 424 may be provided in plurality according to design or number of the first male fastening members 411 and the second male fastening members 421, and accordingly, when a user fastens different fastener sections by using the first male fastening members 411 and the second male fastening members 421, the tightness of the first fastener 41 and the second fastener 42 in the closed position may also be improved by adjusting the positions of the first grooves 414 and the second grooves 424 at the outer sides of the first fastener body 413 and the second fastener body 422, respectively, for the snap-fit fixing of the hook members 51 at different fastener sections. The third embodiment is described by way of example only, but the practical implementation is not limited thereto. Since the relative structures and materials of the tape 31, the slider 5, the first clip chain 41, and the second clip chain 42 are substantially the same as those described in the previous embodiment, further description is omitted here.
When a user wants to close the fastener tape 3, the slider 5 is driven to move in the closing direction, so that the upper end surfaces 35 of the tape bodies 31 approach each other, the second male fasteners 421 of the first clip body 413 and the second clip body 422 are engaged with the engaging grooves 412 in a snap-fit manner, the fastener tapes 3 are synchronously snap-closed with each other, and the fastener tapes 3 are located at the closing position, so that water infiltration can be prevented. When the user wants to open the fastener tape 3, the slider 5 is driven to move in the opening direction, so that the second male fastening members 421 of the first fastener body 413 and the second fastener body 422 are separated from the engaging slots 412, and the fastener tape 3 is separated from each other and located at the open position.
The present embodiment snap-couples the two fastener tapes 3 directly through the clip chain unit 4 to prevent water from leaking through the waterproof slide fastener. In addition, since the sprocket 32 is not required, the manufacturing process can be simplified and the production cost can be reduced.
Referring to fig. 7, a fourth embodiment of the waterproof zipper of the present invention has a structure substantially the same as that of the third embodiment, except that the first fastener 413 and the second fastener 422 are respectively disposed on the upper end surface 35 of the zipper body 31 and respectively have parallel regions parallel to the upper end surface 35, and the first male fastener 411 and the second male fastener 421 are disposed in the parallel regions. When the chain belt 3 is at the closed position, the two upper end surfaces 35 are overlapped with each other, so that the engaging groove 412 and the second male fastening member 421 can be engaged with each other correspondingly. Accordingly, when the user pulls the slider 5 to move in the closing direction, the upper end surfaces 35 of the two tapes 31 are overlapped with each other, so that the second male fasteners 421 disposed on the two upper end surfaces 35 are engaged with the engaging grooves 412, thereby combining the fastener tapes 3 to achieve the purpose of blocking moisture penetration. The first clip chain 41 and the second clip chain 42 are overlapped and jointed up and down, so that the waterproof effect can be more effectively achieved.
It should be noted that the purpose of the hook member 51 of the slider 5 and the first groove 414 and the second groove 424 respectively disposed on the first clip chain 41 and the second clip chain 42 is to help to improve the tightness of the first clip chain 41 and the second clip chain 42 in the closed position, and therefore, the hook member 51, the first groove 414 and the second groove 424 are not required to be disposed according to the requirement and the purpose.
Referring to fig. 8, a fifth embodiment of the waterproof slide fastener of the present invention is substantially the same as the fourth embodiment, except that the parallel regions of the second fastener body 422 are coupled to the corresponding tape bodies 31, the first groove 414 is formed on the long side wall of the first fastener chain 41, the second groove 424 is formed on the surface of the second fastener chain 42 away from the first fastener chain 41, and the slider 5 is in an inverted L shape, so that the hook members 51 of the slider 5 are slidably disposed in the first groove 414 and the second groove 424, respectively. Accordingly, no gap is generated between the second clip body 422 and the belt body 31, and the manufacturing process is relatively simple, so that the production cost can be reduced.
It should be noted that, in the third to fifth embodiments of the present invention, any inner side wall of the slider 5 contacting with the first clip chain 41 and the second clip chain 42 may be provided with a thread or a rough surface, for example, to increase the frictional force during engagement.
In summary, the present invention provides the clip unit 4, and the clip unit 4 is used alone to engage and connect the two chain belts 3, so as to prevent water from penetrating into the chain belts 3 through gaps, or the clip unit 4 is used to cooperate with the chain teeth 32 to dispose the first clip chain 41 and the second clip chain 42 at the periphery of the chain teeth 32, or the first clip chain 41 and the second clip chain 42 are disposed on the covering layer 34, so that when the two chain belts 3 are engaged with each other through the chain teeth 32, the first clip chain 41 and the second clip chain 42 can be engaged and connected to each other, thereby preventing water from penetrating. So the object of the present invention can be achieved.
The above description is only an example of the present invention, and the scope of the present invention should not be limited thereby, and the invention is still within the scope of the present invention by simple equivalent changes and modifications made according to the claims and the contents of the specification.
