Abstract

A spacer 1 for a release sub-cylinder has a screw-shaped protrusion 12 on the outer peripheral surface of a base 10 for engaging with a screw-shaped recess 20 on the inner peripheral surface of a housing 2. The spacer avoids or substantially reduces the risk of debris generation during assembly; the dimensions of the spacer itself and of the housing allow greater tolerances and therefore lower requirements on the manufacturing process; the threaded bulge further enhances the positioning of the spacer bush and the shell in the axial direction, and prevents accidental separation; the spacer bush has wide application range, and can be used for a middle-type separation auxiliary cylinder and an external-type separation auxiliary cylinder. A spacer assembly and a separate slave cylinder are also provided.

Description

Spacer bush and spacer bush assembly of separation auxiliary cylinder and separation auxiliary cylinder Technical Field
The invention relates to a spacer bush of a separation auxiliary cylinder, a spacer bush assembly and the separation auxiliary cylinder.
Background
Spacers and spacer assemblies for separating the secondary cylinders are known in the prior art. The entire spacer assembly is typically formed by pressing the spacer into the housing. This pressing-in method allows a quick installation and is very economical. However, during the pressing-in process, debris is produced, which may subsequently adhere to the component, which can have an adverse effect on the subsequent application. This increases the risk of debris being generated in the sealing area of the medium-sized separate secondary cylinder (CSC) and the external Separate Secondary Cylinder (SSC), for example, which ultimately leads to an increased risk of leakage.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art, and an object of the present invention is to provide a spacer for a splitter sub-cylinder, a spacer assembly, and a splitter sub-cylinder.
The spacer of the split sub-cylinder according to the present invention has a screw-shaped protrusion on the outer peripheral surface of the base body thereof for engagement with a screw-shaped recess of the inner peripheral surface of the housing.
Preferably, said spacer has only one said thread-like projection.
Preferably, the spacer has a plurality of the thread-like projections.
Preferably, the thread-like protrusions are continuous or broken.
Preferably, the spacer is made of metal or plastic.
Preferably, the thread-like protrusion extends less than 360 °, i.e. less than one revolution, over the outer circumferential surface of the base body.
The invention also relates to a spacer assembly comprising:
the spacer bush is provided with a thread-shaped bulge on the peripheral surface of the base body;
a housing having a screw-shaped recess on an inner circumferential surface thereof,
wherein the thread-like protrusion engages with the thread-like recess.
Preferably, the thread-like protrusion and the thread-like recess are configured to achieve a self-locking function.
Preferably, the spacer of the spacer assembly has the features of the spacer described above.
The invention also relates to a separation auxiliary cylinder which is provided with the spacer bush assembly.
The spacer according to the invention is screwed into the housing by rotation, so that the risk of debris generation during assembly is avoided or greatly reduced, since an interference fit assembly process as in the prior art is not required. Due to the presence of the thread-like projections, the spacer allows for greater tolerances in the dimensions of the spacer itself and of the housing, and therefore less demanding manufacturing processes. The thread-shaped protrusion further enhances the positioning of the spacer and the housing in the axial direction, preventing accidental disengagement. The application range of the spacer bush is wide, and the spacer bush can be used for a middle-type separation auxiliary cylinder and an external-type separation auxiliary cylinder.

Detailed Description
The following description of the embodiments of the present invention refers to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of a spacer 1 according to the invention.
In this embodiment, the spacer 1 has a base 10, a cap 11, and one screw-shaped protrusion 12 on the outer peripheral surface of the base 10, and the screw-shaped protrusion 12 is continuous. However, it is also conceivable to provide a plurality of thread-like protrusions 12 on the outer peripheral surface of the base body 10, and each of the thread-like protrusions 12 may be continuous or discontinuous.
Fig. 2 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of a housing for a spacer according to the invention. Here it can be seen that the inner circumferential surface of the housing 2 has a thread-like recess 20. The housing 2 is typically made of plastic.
FIG. 3 shows an axial cross-sectional view of one embodiment of a spacer assembly according to the present invention. The spacer 1 and the housing 2 have been fitted together here by the engagement of the thread-like projections 12 and the thread-like recesses 20.
During assembly, by screwing the spacer 1 into the housing 2 so that the thread-like projection 12 and the thread-like recess 20 of the housing 2 are screw-engaged with each other, since interference fit of the spacer 1 and the housing 2 is not required, generation of chips due to friction during assembly is avoided.
Optionally but not limitatively, the threaded projection 12 of the spacer 1 and the threaded recess 20 of the housing 2 are configured to achieve a self-locking function.
