Background

The laser pointer pointing system 100 of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1, includes: laser pointer 101, processor 102, camera 103, filter 104 and projection screen 105.
The laser pen 101 can emit red light with a specific wavelength, the laser pen 101 is provided with a left key, a right key and a front-back rolling key, the left key and the right key can realize that a wireless mouse is used for left-clicking a selected file, right-clicking is used for operating a pull-down menu of the file, and the front-back rolling key has a front-back rolling function similar to a mouse roller.
The camera 103 is used for capturing a light spot signal on a projection screen in real time, and the optical filter 104 is located on the lens and used for filtering an interference light source.
650nm red light is selected for the laser pen 101 light source, and when red light projected on projection screen 105, high definition digtal camera can catch in real time, adds 650nm narrowband filter on the camera lens, and most light will be filtered, and only the wavelength is close to the red light of 650nm can be caught, and we just so can see obvious red facula.
The processor 102 is located inside the laser pen and the camera, and first obtains the position information of the light spot, and then completes the functions of the left and right keys and the front and back scroll keys through code modulation.
Specifically, the processor 102 obtains an average value of red pixels in one frame of image, and then performs a point-by-point comparison, because the red pixel value at the light spot (i.e. the point irradiated by the laser) is significantly higher than the average value, as long as the point with the largest red pixel in the frame of image is obtained, the position of the light spot is the point, and the position information of the point is extracted.
The coded modulation follows because the light beam emitted by the laser pointer 101 is pulse coded, setting the scanning frequency of the camera to coincide with its coding frequency. The number 1 is set to correspond to light and the number 0 to no light.
The following encoding rules are set in the processor 102, and the processor 102 is not limited to the embedded processor DSP and may be other processors or terminals.
When the laser pen 101 does not press a key, the laser is continuous, and the code is 1111111; when a key is pressed, the laser is not continuous any more, when a left key is pressed, the code is 11001011, 110 is the start of the key, the next two bits are code values, and finally, the code is immediately finished after 11 represents, and the left key operation is executed when the code is received by the encoder; correspondingly, when the right key is pressed, the code is 1100111, and the right key operation is executed; when the forward scroll key is pressed, the code is 1101011, and forward scroll operation is executed; when a rear scroll key is pressed, the code is 1101111, and a backward scroll operation is executed;
a set of valid codes encodes at least 7 bits, i.e., 7 frame times; if the left button is held down continuously, 11000111100011 … … cycles, then a drag operation is performed on the file. The coded values correspond to the keys as table 1 below:
