Reference will now be made in detail to embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein like or similar reference numerals refer to the same or similar elements or elements having the same or similar function throughout. The embodiments described below with reference to the drawings are illustrative and intended to be illustrative of the invention and are not to be construed as limiting the invention.
A plug valve according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in fig. 1 to 10, a plug valve according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: the valve comprises a valve body 1, a valve cover 2, a valve plug body 4, a first handle 7, a control rod 5, a second handle 8, a sliding block 6, a first plug valve 3a, a second plug valve 3b, a first connecting rod 91 and a second connecting rod 92.
Specifically, the valve body 1 has an inlet and an outlet which are bilaterally symmetrical, and a communication chamber which communicates the inlet and the outlet.
The valve cover 2 is arranged on the valve body 1, and the valve cover 2 is provided with a through hole right above the communicating cavity.
The cock body 4 comprises a main body part 4a which is fitted in the communication cavity and a connecting rod 4b which passes through the through hole upwards and extends out of the valve cover 2, and the main body part 4 is formed with a first flow passage 41 and a second flow passage 42 which are intersected. Advantageously, the first flow channel 41 and the second flow channel 42 are orthogonal.
The first handle 7 is connected to the upper end of the connecting rod 4 b.
The lower end of the control rod 5 penetrates the connecting rod 4b and the main body part 4a downwards in sequence and is rotatably connected with the valve body 1, the upper end of the control rod 5 extends upwards out of the upper end face of the connecting rod 4b, and the control rod 5 is provided with a protrusion 51 on the peripheral wall positioned in the main body part 4 a.
A second handle 8 is connected to the upper end of the control rod 5.
The slider 6 is sleeved on the control rod 5 in the main body part 4a in a manner of moving up and down, and the slider 6 is provided with a spiral groove 61 matched with the bulge 51.
The first plug flap 3a and the second plug flap 3b are provided at both ends of one of the first flow passage 41 and the second flow passage 42 in bilateral symmetry, the bottom of the first plug flap 3a is pivotably connected to the body portion 4a and the bottom of the second plug flap 3b is pivotably connected to the body portion 4 a.
The first link 91 and the second link 92 are arranged bilaterally symmetrically with respect to the slider 6, one end of the first link 91 is pivotably connected to the slider 6 and the other end of the first link 91 is pivotably connected to the upper portion of the first plug flap 3a, one end of the second link 92 is pivotably connected to the slider 6 and the other end of the second link 92 is pivotably connected to the upper portion of the second plug flap 3 b.
According to an example of the present invention, the communication chamber is configured in a circular truncated cone shape having a large top and a small bottom. Advantageously, the main body portion 4a is frustoconical in shape adapted to said communication chamber. Further, the outer peripheral wall of the first plug flap 3a (i.e., the one surface facing the inner wall of the communication chamber) and the outer peripheral wall of the second plug flap 3b (i.e., the one surface facing the inner wall of the communication chamber) are each configured into a curved surface that fits the outer peripheral wall of the circular truncated cone-shaped main body portion 4 a.
According to a specific example of the present invention, the first plug lobes 3a and the second plug lobes 3b are provided at both ends of the second flow passage 42 in left-right symmetry. Advantageously, the bottom wall of the second flow channel 42 is lower than the bottom wall of the first flow channel 41.
The operation of a plug valve according to an embodiment of the present invention will now be briefly described.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the plug valve according to the embodiment of the present invention is in the closed state, in which the slide block 6 is in the low position, and the included angle between the first link 92 and the second link 91 is large, so that the first plug flap 3a and the second plug flap 3b are respectively attached to the sealing surface of the valve body 1, and the second passage 42 is blocked, so that the inlet and the outlet are disconnected.
When the plug valve needs to be opened, as shown in fig. 3 and 4, the second handle 8 is firstly rotated to drive the control rod 5 to rotate, and then the slider 6 is moved upwards through the matching of the protrusion 51 and the spiral groove 61, and then the top of the first plug flap 3a and the top of the second plug flap 3b are driven to be close to each other through the first connecting rod 91 and the second connecting rod 92, so that the first plug flap 3a is separated from the sealing surface of the valve body 1, and the second plug flap 3b is separated from the sealing surface of the valve body 1. As shown in fig. 5 and 6, the first handle 7 is then rotated by a predetermined angle (which is equal to the angle between the first flow path 41 and the second flow path 42, and is 90 ° when the first flow path 41 is orthogonal to the second flow path 42) so that the first flow path 41 communicates with the inlet and the outlet, respectively, and the cock valve is opened.
It will be appreciated that closing a plug valve according to an embodiment of the present invention is the reverse of the opening process described above, as will be appreciated by those skilled in the art.
According to the plug valve provided by the embodiment of the invention, the plug valve body is provided with the first plug flap and the second plug flap which are movably connected in the plug valve body, when the plug valve is opened, the second handle is firstly rotated to drive the first plug flap and the second plug flap to rotate, so that the first plug flap and the second plug flap are separated from the sealing surface of the valve body, and then the first handle is rotated by a preset angle, so that the plug valve can be opened. The invention has small friction and long service life.
