Description

Access management system
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an entry management system.
Background
In a conventional entrance/exit management device, when a face image captured by an imaging means and a plurality of entrance/exit permission face images stored in a storage means are successfully authenticated by a 1 st authentication means, or when authentication by the 1 st authentication means fails, specific information read by a reading means and a plurality of entrance/exit permission information stored in the storage means are successfully authenticated by a 2 nd authentication means, an electronic key is controlled to be in an unlocked state by a locking/unlocking control means. When the authentication by the 2 nd authentication means is successful, the face image captured by the imaging means is additionally stored in the storage means as an entry/exit permission face image (see, for example, patent document 1).
Thus, when a user who is permitted to enter and exit the room first brings a recording medium such as an IC card close to the reading means and reads the specific information, the face image of the user is stored in the storage means as an entrance and exit permission face image, and thereafter, only the face of the user is photographed, and the electronic key is in an unlocked state.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of the entry management system according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
Embodiment mode 1
Fig. 1 is a block diagram of an entry management system according to embodiment 1 of the present invention.
First, an overview of an entry management system according to embodiment 1 of the present invention will be described with reference to fig. 1. The entry management system 10 shown in fig. 1 is configured by a control unit 11, a storage unit 12, and an interface unit 13, and a reader 20 that reads an ID stored in a storage medium 21 carried by a user, an imaging device 30 that images an image of the user, and an entry restriction device 40 that sets and releases an entry restriction with respect to the user, which are provided at an entrance of a management area 1, are connected to the control unit 11 via a communication network 50 and the interface unit 13, and the control unit 11 executes a program 12a stored in the storage unit 12, authenticates the user based on the ID read by the reader 20, the image captured by the imaging device 30, and user information 12b stored in the storage unit 12, and outputs a signal to the entry restriction device 40 to release the entry restriction when the user is successfully authenticated. The acquired information 12c is recorded in the storage unit 12 based on the user information 12 b.
Next, the entry management system 10 shown in fig. 1 will be described in detail.
The storage medium 21 stores the ID of the user. The storage medium 21 is, for example, an RF tag for rfid (radio frequency identification). RF tags are also sometimes referred to as IC tags or RFID tags. The RF tags are classified into types according to transmission systems such as electromagnetic coupling, electromagnetic induction, and microwave (radio wave) and RFID classifications such as communication frequency, and although communication accuracy, communication distance, communication range, and the like are different, one type of RF tag may be used, or a plurality of types of RF tags may be used together and used separately for each user.
The reader 20 is provided at an entrance of the management area 1, reads the ID of the user stored in the storage medium 21, and transmits the ID read from the storage medium 21 to the control unit 11 via the communication network 50 and the interface unit 13. The reader 20 is, for example, a reader/writer for RFID. The reader/writer uses a reader/writer corresponding to the type of the RF tag. The reader/writer may have at least a reader function of a function (reader function) of reading data from the RF tag and a function (writer function) of writing data to the RF tag.
The imaging device 30 is provided at the entrance of the management area 1, captures an image of the user, and transmits the captured image to the control unit 11 via the communication network 50 and the interface unit 13. When a user faces the entrance of the management area 1 or the reader 20, the imaging device 30 captures an image including the face of the user and an authentication element used for authentication of the user by the entrance management system 1.
Here, the authentication elements are, for example, a face, a nameplate, a staff card, a uniform, and an armband.
The entry restriction device 40 is provided at an entrance of the management area 1, sets entry restriction for a user, and releases the entry restriction when receiving a signal for releasing the entry restriction from the control unit 11 connected to the interface unit 13 via the communication network 50. The entrance guard 40 is, for example, an electronic lock of a door provided at the entrance of the management area 1 or a security gate provided at the entrance of the management area 1.
The storage unit 12 stores a program 12a executed by the control unit 11, user information 12b in which an ID, an authentication element, collation information, processing information, and a permitted area are associated, and acquisition information 12 c. The storage unit 12 is, for example, a RAM, a ROM, or an HDD.
The control unit 11 reads the program 12a stored in the storage unit 12, thereby executing various processes. The control unit 11 is provided with an ID acquisition unit 11a, an image acquisition unit 11b, an extraction unit 11c, an authentication unit 11d, an acquired information processing unit 11e, and a signal output unit 11f as functional units for realizing the entry management system 1. The control unit 11 is, for example, a CPU or a programmed processor.
The ID acquisition unit 11a receives and acquires an ID read and transmitted from a storage medium 21 carried by a user by a reading device 20 connected to the interface unit 13 via the communication network 50.
The permitted area associated with the ID acquired by the ID acquisition unit 11a is read from the storage unit 12, and when the management area 1 that the user is about to enter is not included in the permitted area, the process for the ID acquired by the ID acquisition unit 11a is terminated.
Here, the licensed region is a management region 1 to which a user has an entry right.
The image acquisition unit 11b receives and acquires an image captured and transmitted by the imaging device 30 connected to the interface unit 13 via the communication network 50.
The extracting unit 11c reads the authentication element associated with the ID acquired by the ID acquiring unit 11a from the storage unit 12, and extracts a part related to the authentication element from the image acquired by the image acquiring unit 11 b.
Here, the information extracted by the extraction unit 11c is assumed to be extracted information.
The authentication unit 11d reads out the collation information associated with the ID acquired by the ID acquisition unit 11a from the storage unit 12, and performs collation with the extraction information extracted by the extraction unit 11 c. Then, the authentication element is authenticated based on the verification result, and the user is authenticated.
Here, the verification information is information used for authentication of the authentication element, and indicates a feature of the authentication element of the user.
The acquired information processing unit 11e reads out the processing information associated with the ID acquired by the ID acquisition unit 11a from the storage unit 12, adjusts the information amount of the image acquired by the image acquisition unit 11b based on the processing information, and records the image whose information amount is adjusted and the ID acquired by the ID acquisition unit 11a in the storage unit 12 in association with each other.
Here, the image whose information amount is adjusted by the acquired information processing unit 11e is set as the processed image, and the information in which the processed image and the ID acquired by the ID acquisition unit 11a are associated with each other is set as the acquired information 12 c.
The processing information includes information on whether or not to record the image acquired by the image acquisition unit 11b in the storage unit 12, and information on the amount of information of the image acquired by the image acquisition unit 11 b. When the information for adjusting the amount of information does not exist in the processing information, the image in which the amount of information of the image acquired by the image acquiring unit 11b is not adjusted may be recorded as the processing image in the storage unit 12.
The information for adjusting the amount of information is, for example, information necessary to reduce the amount of information of an image by changing the resolution of the image, compressing the image, and clipping the image.
When the authentication unit 11d has successfully authenticated the user, the signal output unit 11f outputs a signal for releasing the entry restriction to the entry restriction device 40 provided in the management area 1 into which the user is about to enter.
Next, an example of the user information 12b will be described. Fig. 2 shows user information of the entry management system according to embodiment 1 of the present invention.
In fig. 2, the user information 12b is composed of an ID, an authentication element, collation information, processing information, and information of a permitted area. Regarding the 4 different IDs, for example, the ID of the employee a who is the management position is set to 001, the ID of the employee B who is not the management position is set to 100, the ID of the visitor C who has the transaction achievement is set to 500, and the ID of the visitor C who has no transaction achievement is set to 600.
The employee a can enter the highly-secured management area 1a, and therefore, the user is authenticated using the face image, which is an authentication element having excellent security. Since the staff member B cannot enter the management area 1a by nature, and only needs to have moderate security, authentication using the image of the nameplate is inferior in security to authentication using the image of the face, but has an advantage that the amount of information of the collation information is small. The staff member a and the staff member B ensure security by authentication of images, and do not record images of users. Since the guest C and the guest D are users outside the company and can only enter the management area 1C with a significantly low security level, authentication is not performed using the image of the user. Instead, the image of the user is recorded. The guest C has a transaction performance and is credited, and therefore, the resolution of the processed image is reduced to reduce the amount of information to be recorded. Since the guest D has no transaction performance and no credit, recording is performed without adjusting the resolution of the processed image.
That is, there are 2 types of authentication elements having different amounts of information of the corresponding collation information, and the authentication element can be selected and set for each ID in the user information 12 b. The number of authentication elements is 1 or none for 1 ID, i.e., 1 user, but may be 2 or more.
Then, the authentication unit 11d reads all the authentication elements associated with the ID acquired by the ID acquisition unit from the storage unit 12, and when the authentication of all the authentication elements is successful, the authentication of the user is successful. When the authentication element is not associated with the ID acquired by the ID acquisition unit, the authentication unit 11d does not perform authentication of the authentication element and succeeds in authentication of the user.
Next, the operation of the entry management system 10 will be described. Fig. 3 is a flowchart showing the operation of the entry management system according to embodiment 1 of the present invention.
The ID obtaining portion 11a receives and obtains the ID transmitted from the reader 20 (S1 in fig. 3).
The permitted area associated with the ID acquired by the ID acquisition unit 11a is read from the storage unit 12, and when the management area 1 that the user is about to enter is not included in the permitted area, the process for the ID acquired by the ID acquisition unit 11a is terminated (S2 in fig. 3).
When the management area 1 that the user wants to enter is included in the permitted area, the image obtaining unit 11b receives and obtains the image captured and transmitted by the imaging device 30 (S2 and S3 in fig. 3).
In the storage unit 12, when the authentication element is associated with the ID acquired by the ID acquisition unit 11a, that is, when the authentication element is set in the ID acquired by the ID acquisition unit 11a in the user information, the authentication of the authentication element is performed using the image (S4 in fig. 3).
The extracting unit 11c extracts extraction information indicating the feature of the authentication element from the image acquired by the image acquiring unit 11b (S5 in fig. 3).
The authentication unit 11d reads out the verification information associated with the ID acquired by the ID acquisition unit 11a from the storage unit 12, and performs verification with the extraction information extracted by the extraction unit 11c (S6 in fig. 3).
If the verification of the verification information and the extracted information, that is, the authentication of the authentication element is successful, the authentication unit 11d continues to authenticate the authentication element whose authentication is not completed, if the authentication of all the authentication elements is not completed (S7, S8 in fig. 3).
When the authentication of the authentication element fails by the authentication unit 11d, that is, when the user cannot be confirmed, the process for the ID acquired by the ID acquisition unit 11a is terminated (S7 in fig. 3).
In the storage unit 12, when the authentication of all the authentication elements associated with the ID acquired by the ID acquisition unit 11a is successful, the authentication of the user is successful (S8, S9 in fig. 3).
In addition, although the authentication elements are checked one by one when the user is authenticated, all the authentication elements may be authenticated in parallel to authenticate the user.
When the authentication of the user is successful, the signal output unit 11f outputs a signal for canceling the entrance restriction to the entrance restriction device 40 provided in the management area 1 into which the user is about to enter (S10 in fig. 3).
After the processing information associated with the ID acquired by the ID acquiring unit 11a is read from the storage unit 12, if the image acquired by the image acquiring unit 11b is not recorded, the processing for the ID acquired by the ID acquiring unit 11a is terminated (S11 in fig. 3).
When recording the image acquired by the image acquiring unit 11b, the acquired information processing unit 11e reads the processing information associated with the ID acquired by the ID acquiring unit 11a from the storage unit 12, and records, in the storage unit 12, the acquired information 12c in which the processed image obtained by adjusting the information amount of the image acquired by the image acquiring unit 11b based on the processing information, that is, the processed image is associated with the ID acquired by the ID acquiring unit 11a (S12 in fig. 3).
As described above, according to the entry management system according to embodiment 1 of the present invention, it is possible to perform authentication of at least 2 types of authentication elements having different amounts of information of collation information used for authentication of the authentication elements, and to select and set the authentication elements for each user.
This reduces the load of the process of authenticating the user, and saves resources for storing information used for authenticating the user.
Further, according to the entry management system according to embodiment 1 of the present invention, when the authentication element is not associated with the user, the authentication of the authentication element is not performed and the authentication of the user is successful.
This makes it possible to authenticate a user, such as a visitor, who has difficulty in obtaining the verification information used for authentication of the authentication element, by using only the ID.
Further, according to the entry management system according to embodiment 1 of the present invention, it is possible to set whether or not to record an image in which a user is photographed, for each user.
This makes it possible to record an image of a user, who is difficult to obtain verification information used for authentication of an authentication element, such as a visitor, instead of performing authentication of the authentication element.
Further, according to the entry management system according to embodiment 1 of the present invention, the management area 1 in which the entry restriction device 40 connected to the entrance via the communication network 50 and the interface unit 13 is provided can be set for each user to permit entry.
As a result, it is possible to output a signal for releasing the entrance restriction to the entrance restriction device 40 that is provided at the entrance of the management area 1 where the user is about to enter and restricts the entrance of the user, based on the result of authenticating the user.
