Detailed Description
The inventor notices in the process of invention that:
communication connection establishment procedures: the method comprises a communication connection establishment process of an NAS (Non Access Stratum) layer, namely a direct communication interface PC5 signaling (PC5 signaling, PC5-S) connection establishment process, and a communication connection establishment process of an AS (Access Stratum) layer, namely a direct link radio Resource Control signaling (SL RRC) connection establishment process. As follows, the present application takes a unicast scenario of a direct link as an example, and respectively describes the two connection establishment procedures. It should be noted that, for other scenarios of the direct link, for example, a multicast scenario, there is a similar connection establishment process, which is not described herein again; in addition, the two connection establishment processes are not in sequence, and may be established simultaneously, or established separately and independently, or only one communication connection may be established, for example, only the communication connection of the NAS (Non Access Stratum) layer or only the communication connection of the AS (Access Stratum) layer is established, which is not limited in the present application.
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a unicast connection establishment procedure of the NAS layer, where the unicast connection establishment procedure of the NAS layer mainly includes PC5-S signaling (i.e., step 203 and step 204 in the figure), and as shown in the figure, the following details are as follows:
step 201, the UE (User Equipment) determines a destination ID (Identity) for receiving the V2X unicast connection establishment signaling, where the destination ID is related to the V2X service.
Step 202, the application layer instructs the UE1 to perform V2X unicast service.
Step 203, the UE1 sends the V2X unicast connection establishment procedure in a broadcast manner, wherein the directcommumcation Request (direct communication Request) information includes:
A) V2X service related information;
B) the destination ID is related to the V2X service initiating the connection establishment;
C) source ID, ID of UE1, UE1 self-assigned according to V2X service that needs to be performed;
i. to prevent tracking, the UE needs to autonomously change the source Layer-2ID (source Layer 2 identity) and is randomly changed, one UE may have multiple source Layer-2 IDs;
if the source ID changes, the UE needs to inform the correspondent UE with which a connection has been established.
Step 204, if the receiving UE is judged to be interested in establishing the service connection initiated by the UE1 according to the destination ID, replying UE1Direct Communication Accept information, wherein the information includes the ID of the receiving UE, for example, the ID of the UE2 in fig. 2, and the UE2 allocates the V2X service itself according to the need.
In step 205, the UE mainly interacts IDs of both parties through the connection established before, and performs subsequent unicast service transmission. The transmission of unicast traffic requires the use of both IDs to specify to which UE the message is sent.
Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of a unicast connection establishment process of the AS layer, and AS shown in the figure, a possible unicast connection establishment process of the AS layer is AS follows:
based on the IDs of UE1 and UE2, UE1 sends a sidelinkrrcetup request (direct link RRC connection establishment request; RRC: Radio Resource Control, Radio Resource Control), UE2 replies sidelinkrrcetup (direct link RRC connection establishment), and UE1 confirms sidelinkrrcetup complete (direct link RRC connection establishment).
As mentioned above, the UE ID is randomly allocated by the UE itself according to different service requirements, and needs to be updated at intervals. The same UE may have multiple different UE IDs based on different services. Therefore, if the existing unicast connection establishment procedure is followed, one UE may also establish multiple unicast connections with another UE based on different services, that is, multiple NAS layer unicast connections or AS layer unicast connections. That is, for a UE, it does not know that multiple unicast connections are established with another UE, because the IDs of the peer UEs are different, the UE can only think that different unicast connections are established with multiple UEs, but actually multiple different unicast connections are established with the same UE.
Thus, multiple unicast connections, such as multiple PC5-S connections or multiple RRC connections, multiple SRBs 1 (signaling Radio Bearer 1), multiple DRBs (Data Radio Bearer), etc., need to be maintained and managed between two UEs, and multiple identical UE contexts (e.g., peer UE capabilities) are stored, which results in resource waste.
In summary, in the conventional LTE system, the service of the direct communication interface only supports the broadcast service, and for NR (New Radio, New air interface), the service of the direct communication interface is richer than that of LTE, and besides the broadcast service, the service also supports the unicast and multicast services. For unicast traffic, 2 UEs are required to establish a unicast connection to transmit unicast traffic, including control information and data information. The unicast connection between 2 UEs needs to be established according to the UE ID, and at present, the UE ID is randomly allocated by the UE itself according to different service requirements and needs to be updated at intervals. Therefore, the same UE may have a plurality of different UE IDs based on different services, one UE may also establish a plurality of unicast connections with another UE based on different services, and the UEs also need to maintain and manage the plurality of unicast connections, store a plurality of UE contexts (for example, peer UE capabilities), and waste resources.
Based on this, the embodiment of the present invention provides a scheme for identifying a user, which can uniquely identify the user, so that in a V2X unicast service, only one unicast connection needs to be established even if different V2X services are performed between 2 UEs, and thus only one unicast connection needs to be maintained and managed, one UE context is stored, and resource overhead is saved.
The following describes embodiments of the present invention with reference to the drawings.
In the description process, the implementation of the first terminal and the second terminal will be described separately, and then an example of the implementation of the first terminal and the second terminal will be given to better understand the implementation of the scheme given in the embodiment of the present invention. Such an explanation does not mean that the two terminals must be implemented in cooperation or separately, and actually, when the first terminal and the second terminal are implemented separately, the problems on the first terminal side and the second terminal side can be solved separately, and when the two terminals are used in combination, a better technical effect can be obtained.
In the description, the UE1 will be exemplified as the first terminal and the UE2 will be exemplified as the second terminal.
First, the implementation on the first terminal is described, then the implementation on the second terminal is described, how the two are combined is described by taking UE1 and UE2 as examples, and finally, the direct connection system of NR is described as an example.
It should be noted that the first terminal is not completely equal to UE1, the second terminal is not completely equal to UE1, and when described as the first terminal and the second terminal, the first terminal is always the terminal that sends the identifier of the first terminal, and the second terminal is always the terminal that receives the identifier; to better understand the transmission and reception and the interaction with each other on a terminal, when described as UE1 and UE2, UE1 or UE2 may have both the actions of transmitting the self identity and receiving the identity of the other party, which is easy to understand.
Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of an implementation flow of a method for sending identification information on a first terminal, where as shown in the figure, the method may include:
step 401, a first terminal and a second terminal establish communication connection;
step 402, a first terminal sends identification information of the first terminal to a second terminal, wherein the identification information is used for the second terminal to determine whether the first terminal has established communication connection with the second terminal.
In the following embodiments, the unicast is mainly used as an example for explanation, but obviously, the scheme is not limited to the unicast scenario, and the scheme can be used in other scenarios after appropriate improvements are made by those skilled in the art.
In an implementation, the identification information of the first terminal includes one or more of the following information:
an identity being used by the first terminal, a combination of identities being used by the first terminal, a unique identity of the first terminal.
In implementation, the identifier being used by the first terminal includes all identifiers used when the first terminal establishes a communication connection; or the like, or, alternatively,
the identification combination being used by the first terminal comprises: the method comprises the steps that a first terminal establishes a combination of all identifiers used in communication connection, or establishes an identifier generated by an algorithm of the combination of all identifiers used in communication connection; or the like, or a combination thereof,
the unique identifier of the first terminal comprises one or a combination of the following identifiers: the unique identifier of the network configuration, the unique identifier of the pre-configuration and the unique identifier of the first terminal distribution.
In the case where the identifier being used by the first terminal includes all identifiers being used by the first terminal when establishing the communication connection, that is, the ID used by the first terminal when establishing the connection with another terminal before, the ID may not be used when establishing the connection with the second terminal, and the ID does not need to be transmitted again. For example, the IDs used by the UE1 before include ID1, ID2, ID3, and the ID4 will be used when the UE1 establishes connection with the UE2, but when the UE1 establishes connection with the UE2, the ID1 is no longer used (possibly, the ID1 has been updated, or the connection established using ID1 is released, etc.), then the UE1 only needs to send the ID2, ID3, and ID4 to the UE2, that is, the IDs 2, ID3, ID4 are the IDs being used when the first terminal establishes connection with the second terminal. In other words, those skilled in the art will readily appreciate that the ID is essentially the ID that helps the second terminal to determine whether a connection has been established.
The preconfigured unique identifier may include: pre-defined by a protocol, pre-configured by a device vendor, pre-assigned by an operator, pre-assigned by a standards organization, etc.
In implementation, the first terminal sends the identification information of the first terminal to the second terminal by using at least one of the following methods:
when a first terminal establishes communication connection, sending identification information of the first terminal to a second terminal, wherein the identification information of the first terminal is sent when a direct communication interface PC5-S connection is established;
when a first terminal establishes communication connection, sending identification information of the first terminal to a second terminal, wherein the identification information of the first terminal is sent when a direct link radio resource control (SL) RRC connection is established;
the method comprises the steps that a first terminal sends identification information of the first terminal to a second terminal, and the identification information of the first terminal is sent when the first terminal sends the capability of the first terminal to the second terminal;
the first terminal sends the identification information of the first terminal to the second terminal when the first terminal requests the capability of the second terminal from the second terminal.

the first terminal using previously stored capabilities of the second terminal; or the like, or, alternatively,
the first terminal does not store the capabilities of the second terminal;
and/or
When a first terminal sends identification information of a first terminal when requesting the capability of a second terminal from the second terminal, if a notification that the first terminal and the second terminal have established connection, or the identification information of the second terminal, sent by the second terminal, is received, the method further comprises one or a combination of the following steps:
the first terminal does not send the capability of the first terminal to the second terminal; or the like, or a combination thereof,
the first terminal using previously stored capabilities of the second terminal; or the like, or, alternatively,
the first terminal does not store the capabilities of the second terminal.
In a specific implementation, the identification information of the first terminal is sent when the connection is established and sent through the PC5-S, and the first terminal is sent in a connection establishment Request message, for example, sent through a Direct Communication Request message; or, the Direct Communication Request message in the SA2 flow is sent, and may also be sent in other messages, which is not limited in the present invention;
the first terminal is sent in the connection establishment acceptance message, for example, after receiving the Direct Communication Request message, the first terminal is sent in the Direct Communication Accept message; or, after receiving the Direct Communication Request message in the SA2 flow, the message is sent in the Direct Communication Accept message, or may be sent in other messages, which is not limited in the present invention;
the first terminal sends the capability of the first terminal to the second terminal, for example, in an RRC message for sending the capability, or in other messages, which is not limited in the present invention;
the first terminal is sent in a message requesting the second terminal for the capability of the second terminal, for example, in an RRC message requesting the capability of the second terminal, but may also be sent in other messages, and the present invention is not limited thereto.

the first terminal does not establish a PC5-S connection with the second terminal.
In implementation, the first terminal sends the first terminal identification information in the connection establishment request message, and when receiving a notification that the first terminal and the second terminal have established a connection, or the identification information of the second terminal, sent by the second terminal, may further include one or a combination of the following steps:
the first terminal does not establish a SL RRC connection with the second terminal, specifically, the connection is a connection of an AS layer and/or an NAS layer; or the like, or a combination thereof,

When the second terminal identifier is sent by the second terminal when the Communication connection with the first terminal has been established, the second terminal identifier may be sent in a connection establishment acceptance message, specifically, for example, in a Direct Communication Accept message. It is also understood that the second terminal may also send a notification to the first terminal that the first terminal and the second terminal have established a connection, and the notification may be sent in a connection establishment Accept message, specifically, for example, in a Direct Communication Accept message. As for the content sent by the second terminal, the present invention is not particularly limited as long as the first terminal can confirm that the first terminal and the second terminal have established the communication connection.
In implementation, when a SL RRC connection is established, the identification information of the first terminal is sent, and the first terminal sends the identification information of the first terminal in a SL RRC connection establishment request message; or the first terminal sends the identification information of the first terminal in a SL RRC connection establishment message.
The first terminal sends the first terminal identification information in a SL RRC connection establishment request message, and when receiving a notification that the first terminal and the second terminal have established a connection, or the identification information of the second terminal, sent by the second terminal, further includes one or a combination of the following steps:

Specifically, the SL RRC connection setup complete message may be a Sidelink RRC setup complete message, and the identifier of the first terminal sent by the first terminal in the Sidelink RRC setup request.
In an implementation, when it is determined that the first terminal has established a communication connection with the second terminal, the method further includes:
and the first terminal transmits service information to the second terminal in one MAC PDU, wherein the service information comprises the service information transmitted in the communication connection which is established between the first terminal and the second terminal and new service information. The new service information may be understood as the service information to be transmitted when the first terminal establishes the communication connection with the second terminal.
Specifically, the two service information may use the same terminal identifier or different terminal identifiers, but both service information may be transmitted in one MAC PDU.
In the following, the implementation of the corresponding second terminal is described, it should be noted that, because the behavior of the second terminal corresponds to that of the first terminal, the implementation of the first terminal may be referred to for the use of a message in the implementation, or corresponding improvements may be made, and the following description is not repeated.
Fig. 5 is a schematic flow chart of an implementation of a method for receiving identification information at a second terminal, where as shown in the figure, the method may include:
step 501, a second terminal receives identification information of a first terminal, which is sent by the first terminal, wherein the identification information is used for the second terminal to determine whether the first terminal has established communication connection with the second terminal;
step 502, the second terminal determines whether a communication connection has been established with the first terminal according to the identification information.
In an implementation, the identification information of the first terminal includes one or more of the following information:
an identity being used by the first terminal, a combination of identities being used by the first terminal, a unique identity of the first terminal.
In implementation, the identifier being used by the first terminal includes all identifiers used when the first terminal establishes the communication connection; or the like, or a combination thereof,
the identification combination being used by the first terminal comprises: the method comprises the steps that a first terminal establishes a combination of all identifiers used in communication connection, or establishes an identifier generated by an algorithm of the combination of all identifiers used in communication connection; or the like, or, alternatively,
the unique identifier of the first terminal comprises one or a combination of the following identifiers: the first terminal is used for receiving the network configuration unique identifier, the pre-configured unique identifier and the unique identifier distributed by the first terminal.
In the case where the identifier being used by the first terminal includes all identifiers used when the first terminal establishes a communication connection, the ID used when the first terminal previously establishes a connection with another terminal may not be used when establishing a connection with the second terminal, and it is not necessary to transmit the ID again. In other words, those skilled in the art will readily appreciate that the ID here is essentially the ID that helps the second terminal to determine whether a connection has been established.
The preconfigured unique identifier may include: pre-defined by a protocol, pre-configured by a device vendor, pre-assigned by an operator, pre-assigned by a standards organization, etc.
In implementation, the second terminal receives the identification information of the first terminal sent by the first terminal, and receives the identification information of the first terminal by adopting at least one of the following modes:
the second terminal receives the identification information of the first terminal sent by the first terminal, wherein the identification information of the first terminal is sent by the first terminal when the direct communication interface PC5-S connection is established;
the method comprises the steps that a second terminal receives identification information of a first terminal sent by the first terminal, wherein the identification information of the first terminal is sent by the first terminal when the first terminal establishes a direct link radio resource control (SL) RRC connection;
the second terminal receives the identification information of the first terminal, wherein the identification information of the first terminal is sent when the first terminal sends the capacity of the first terminal to the second terminal;
the second terminal receives the identification information of the first terminal sent by the first terminal, and the identification information is sent by the first terminal when the first terminal requests the second terminal for the capability of the second terminal.
In implementation, when the first terminal sends the identification information of the first terminal to the second terminal when the first terminal sends the capability of the first terminal to the second terminal, and if the second terminal determines that the first terminal has established a communication connection with the second terminal according to the identification information, the method further includes one or a combination of the following steps:
the second terminal informs the first terminal that the second terminal establishes communication connection with the first terminal; or the like, or a combination thereof,
the second terminal sends a second terminal identification to the first terminal when the communication connection with the first terminal is established; or the like, or a combination thereof,
the second terminal does not send the capability of the second terminal to the first terminal; or the like, or, alternatively,
the second terminal using previously stored capabilities of the first terminal; or the like, or, alternatively,
the second terminal does not store the capabilities of the first terminal;
and/or
When the first terminal requests the second terminal for the identification information of the first terminal when the first terminal requests the second terminal for the capability of the second terminal, if the second terminal determines that the first terminal has established a communication connection with the second terminal according to the identification information, the method further comprises one or a combination of the following steps:
the second terminal informs the first terminal that the second terminal establishes communication connection with the first terminal; or the like, or a combination thereof,
the second terminal sends a second terminal identification to the first terminal when the communication connection with the first terminal is established; or the like, or a combination thereof,
the second terminal does not send the capabilities of the second terminal to the first terminal; or the like, or a combination thereof,
the second terminal using previously stored capabilities of the first terminal; or the like, or, alternatively,
the second terminal does not store the capabilities of the first terminal.
In implementation, when the Direct Communication interface PC5-S connection is established, the identification information of the first terminal is sent, and the first terminal sends the identification information of the first terminal in a connection establishment Request message, for example, the first terminal sends through a Direct Communication Request message; or, the first terminal is sent through the Direct Communication Request message in the SA2 flow, but may also be sent in other messages, and the present invention is not limited thereto.
The first terminal sends the identification information of the first terminal in a connection establishment acceptance message, for example, the first terminal sends the identification information through a Direct Communication Accept message; or, the first terminal is sent through the Direct Communication Accept message in the SA2 flow, and may also be sent in other messages, which is not limited in the present invention;
the first terminal sends the message for sending the capability of the first terminal to the second terminal, for example, the first terminal sends the message for sending the capability in the RRC message, or may send the message in other messages, which is not limited in the present invention;
the first terminal is sent in a message requesting the second terminal for the capability of the second terminal, for example, in an RRC message requesting the capability of the second terminal, but may also be sent in other messages, and the present invention is not limited thereto.
In implementation, when the second terminal determines that the first terminal has established a communication connection with the second terminal according to the identification information, the method further includes one or a combination of the following steps:
the second terminal informs the first terminal that the second terminal has established communication connection with the first terminal; or the like, or, alternatively,
the second terminal sends a second terminal identification to the first terminal when the communication connection with the first terminal is established; or the like, or, alternatively,
the second terminal does not establish a SL RRC connection with the first terminal, specifically, the connection is a connection of an AS layer and/or an NAS layer; or the like, or a combination thereof,
the second terminal does not send the capability of the first terminal to the first terminal, specifically, does not send the capability of the first terminal at an AS layer and/or an NAS layer; or the like, or a combination thereof,
the second terminal transmits the service information to the first terminal through the communication connection established with the first terminal, specifically, when the service information is transmitted, identifiers of the first terminal and the second terminal used by the first terminal and the second terminal in the communication connection established between the first terminal and the second terminal, or identifiers of the communication connection established between the first terminal and the second terminal; or the like, or, alternatively,
the second terminal transmits service information to the first terminal by using an identifier of the second terminal, where the identifier of the second terminal is an identifier of the second terminal used in a communication connection that has been established between the first terminal and the second terminal, and specifically, when transmitting the service information, the identifiers of the first terminal and the second terminal used may be identifiers of the first terminal and the second terminal used by the first terminal and the second terminal in a communication connection that has been established between the first terminal and the second terminal; or the like, or, alternatively,
the second terminal does not establish a PC5-S connection with the first terminal, in particular, the connection is of an AS layer and/or an NAS layer.
In implementation, when a SL RRC connection is established to send identification information of the first terminal, the first terminal sends the identification information of the first terminal in a SL RRC connection establishment request message; for example, the first terminal is transmitted through a Sidelink RRC setup request. Or the like, or, alternatively,
the first terminal sends its identification information in a SL RRC connection setup message, e.g., the first terminal sends through a Sidelink RRC setup.
In an implementation, the first terminal sends the identification information of the first terminal through a SL RRC connection setup request message, and when it is determined that the first terminal has established a communication connection with the second terminal according to the identification information of the first terminal, the method further includes one or a combination of the following steps:
the second terminal informs the first terminal that the second terminal has established a communication connection with the first terminal, specifically, the connection is a connection of an AS layer and/or an NAS layer; or the like, or, alternatively,
the second terminal sends a second terminal identification to the first terminal when the communication connection with the first terminal is established; or the like, or a combination thereof,
the second terminal does not establish SL RRC connection with the first terminal; or the like, or, alternatively,
the second terminal does not send the first terminal's capabilities to the first terminal; or the like, or a combination thereof,
the second terminal transmits service information to the first terminal through the communication connection established with the first terminal; or the like, or a combination thereof,
the second terminal transmits service information to the first terminal by using the identifier of the second terminal, wherein the identifier of the second terminal is the identifier of the second terminal used in the communication connection established between the first terminal and the second terminal; or
The second terminal does not establish a PC5-S connection with the first terminal.
In an implementation, the SL RRC connection setup message further includes one or a combination of the following:
the identification of the first terminal is sent by the first terminal in the SL RRC connection establishment request; or the like, or, alternatively,
the identifier of the first terminal and the identifier of the second terminal are used when the second terminal and the first terminal establish connection; or the like, or a combination thereof,
indication information for terminating the RRC connection.
In an implementation, the first terminal is sent through a SL RRC connection setup message, and when it is determined that the first terminal has established a communication connection with the second terminal according to the identification information of the first terminal, the method further includes one or a combination of the following steps:
the second terminal informs the first terminal that the second terminal establishes communication connection with the first terminal; or the like, or, alternatively,
the second terminal sends a second terminal identification to the first terminal when the communication connection with the first terminal is established; or the like, or, alternatively,
the second terminal does not establish a SL RRC connection with the first terminal; or the like, or, alternatively,
the second terminal does not send the first terminal's capabilities to the first terminal; or the like, or, alternatively,
the second terminal transmits service information to the first terminal through the communication connection established with the first terminal; or the like, or a combination thereof,
the second terminal transmits service information to the first terminal by using the identifier of the second terminal, wherein the identifier of the second terminal is the identifier of the second terminal used in the communication connection established between the first terminal and the second terminal; or
The second terminal does not establish a PC5-S connection with the first terminal.
In implementation, the SL RRC connection setup complete message includes one or a combination of the following:
the first terminal identifier is sent by the first terminal in the SL RRC connection establishment message; or the like, or a combination thereof,
the identifier of the first terminal and the identifier of the second terminal are used when the second terminal and the first terminal establish connection; or the like, or, alternatively,
indication information for terminating the RRC connection.
In an implementation, when it is determined that the first terminal has established a communication connection with the second terminal, the method further includes:
the first terminal transmits service information to the second terminal in one MAC PDU, wherein the service information comprises the service information transmitted in the communication connection established between the first terminal and the second terminal and new service information. The new service information may be understood as the service information to be transmitted when the first terminal establishes the communication connection with the second terminal.
In the technical solution provided by the embodiment of the present invention, a first terminal sends identification information of the first terminal to a second terminal, where the identification information is used for the second terminal to determine whether the first terminal has established a communication connection with the second terminal. Whether the users are the same end user can be identified through the identification information.
The identification information of the first terminal may be one or more of the following information: an identity being used by the first terminal, an identity combination being used by the first terminal, and a unique identity of the first terminal.
The following description will take UE1 and UE2 as examples.
When the UE1 establishes the connection, it sends identification information to the peer UE2, where the identification information may be:
1. the identification information sent to the peer UE2 is that all the identifications of the UE1 that have already established communication connection at present, that is, the identifications of the UE1 that have performed unicast connection at present are all sent to the peer UE2 together;
2. the identification information sent to the peer UE2 is: a combination of all identities for which the UE1 has presently established a communication connection, or an algorithmically generated identity, such as a HASH algorithm, for all identities for which the UE1 has presently established a communication connection. Channel resources can be saved compared with the former one;
if the identity of the UE is updated, the identity generated by the combination or algorithm is also updated;
3. the identification information sent to the peer UE2 is: a unique identity of the UE1, which may be network configured, pre-configured, or UE1 self-assigned.
The specific flow of transmitting the identification information may be as follows:
the first scheme is as follows: connection setup via PC 5-S.
1. The UE1 transmits the identification information of the UE1 through Direct Communication Request message.
For the UE2 side:
the UE2 determines whether it has established a connection with the UE1 through the received identification information of the UE 1.
If so, the UE2 replies in a Direct Communication Accept message using the UE2ID that has established a connection with the UE 1. The following operations may also be performed:
1) informing an Access Layer (AS Layer) of the UE2 that an AS Layer connection does not need to be established; there is no need to interact with UE capabilities either, since AS layer configuration may need to be configured according to different QoS (Quality of Service); transmitting subsequent services using the previously established connection;
2) not establishing communication connection of the NAS layer; UE capability interaction is also not required, since AS layer configuration may need to be configured according to different QoS; subsequent traffic is transmitted using the previously established connection.
1) And 2) the relationship of and/or, either or both may be performed.
For the UE1 side:
the UE1 determines that the UE2 is a UE that has established a connection according to the received Direct Communication Accept message sent by the UE 2.
1) (corresponding to 1 of UE 2)): informing the AS layer of the UE1 that an AS layer connection does not need to be established; interactive UE capabilities are also not required, since AS layer configuration may need to be configured according to different QoS; transmitting subsequent services using the established connection;
2) (2 for UE 2)): the communication connection of the NAS layer is not established; interactive UE capabilities are also not required, since AS layer configuration may need to be configured according to different QoS; subsequent traffic is transmitted using the established connection.
1) And 2) the relationship of and/or, either or both may be performed.
It may also be performed for the UE1 and the UE 2:
subsequent traffic is transmitted using the established connection, i.e., current traffic may be transmitted over the communication connection established by UE1 and UE2, with the same destination ID;
the Data packets with the same destination ID may be multiplexed in the same MAC PDU (media Access Control Protocol Data unit; MAC: Medium Access Control; PDU: Protocol Data Units, Protocol Data unit) for transmission (may be Data packets of different services).
2. The UE1 also sends a Direct Communication Request message carrying the UE1 identifier for the connection establishment according to the existing procedure, and the UE2 sends the identifier information of the UE2 in the Direct Communication Accept message.
For the UE 1:
the UE1 determines whether the UE2 has established a connection according to the reception of the Direct Communication Accept message transmitted by the UE 2.
If so, then:
1) informing the AS layer of the UE1 that RRC connection does not need to be established; UE capability interaction is also not required, since AS layer configuration may need to be configured according to different QoS; transmitting subsequent services using the established connection;
2) not establishing communication connection of the NAS layer; interactive UE capabilities are also not required, since AS layer configuration may need to be configured according to different QoS; transmitting subsequent services using the previously established connection;
1) and 2) a relationship of and/or, either or both may be performed.
Further, the UE2 may also be informed that the connection has been established, including:
for 1) above, depending on the AS layer connection establishment procedure, if it is UE1 that initiates the AS layer connection establishment procedure, then UE2 need not be notified;
for 2) above, the UE2 needs to be informed that the connection has been established, no communication connection at the NAS layer is established, and no UE capability interaction is required, and the previously established connection is used to transport subsequent traffic.
It may also be performed for the UE1 and the UE 2:
subsequent traffic is transmitted using the previously established connection, i.e., current traffic may be transmitted over the communication connection previously established by UE1 and UE2, with the same destination ID;
data packets sent to the same UE may be multiplexed in the same MAC PDU for transmission (may be data packets of different services, or data packets with the same destination ID or different destination IDs).
Scheme two is as follows: the identification information is transmitted through the SL RRC connection setup procedure.
1. The UE1 transmits identification information of the UE1 through the Sidelink RRC setup request.
For the UE2 side:
the UE2 determines whether it has established a connection with the UE1 through the received identification information of the UE 1.
If so, the UE2 replies in the Sidelink RRC setup using the UE2ID that has established a connection with the UE1, and informs the UE1 that the connection has been established, so that it does not receive the Sidelink RRC setup complete message any more; no RRC connection needs to be established; nor does it need to store UE capabilities (AS layer configuration may need to be configured according to different QoS); subsequent traffic is transmitted using the previously established connection.
For the UE1 side:
the UE1 determines that the UE2 is a UE that has established connection according to the received Sidelink RRC setup sent by the UE2, so that the Sidelink RRC setup complete message is not being sent; no RRC connection needs to be established; interactive UE capabilities are also not required (AS layer configuration may need to be configured according to different QoS); subsequent traffic is transmitted using the previously established connection.
It may also be performed for the UE1 and the UE 2:
subsequent traffic is transmitted using the previously established connection, i.e., current traffic may be transmitted over the communication connection previously established by UE1 and UE2, with the same destination ID;
data packets sent to the same UE may be multiplexed in the same MAC PDU for transmission (may be data packets of different services, or data packets with the same destination ID or different destination IDs).
2. The UE1 carries the source ID and the destination ID for this connection establishment in the Sidelink RRC setup request message (same as the current procedure), and the UE2 sends the identification information of the UE2 in the Sidelink RRC setup.
The UE1 determines whether the UE2 has previously established a connection according to the reception of the Sidelink RRC setup transmitted by the UE 2.
If the establishment is finished, the UE2 is informed in a Sidelink RRC setup complete message without establishing RRC connection; interactive UE capabilities are also not required (AS layer configuration may need to be configured according to different QoS); subsequent traffic is transmitted using the previously established connection.
The Sidelink RRC setup complete message includes one or more of UE1ID transmitted by UE1 in the Sidelink RRC setup request, layer-2ID used when UE2 and UE1 previously establish a connection, and IE (Information Element) indicating that the RRC connection is released.
It may also be performed for the UE1 and the UE 2:
subsequent traffic is transmitted using the previously established connection, i.e., current traffic may be transmitted over the communication connection previously established by UE1 and UE2, with the same destination ID;
data packets sent to the same UE may be multiplexed in the same MAC PDU for transmission (may be data packets of different services, or data packets with the same destination ID or different destination IDs).
The third scheme is as follows: by sending UE capabilities or requesting UE capabilities.
1. The UE1 sends the identification information of the UE1 by sending a message of UE1 capabilities.
For the UE2 side:
the UE2 determines whether it has established a connection with the UE1 through the received identification information of the UE 1.
If so, the UE2 replies to the UE1 (or may not reply) with the UE2ID that has established a connection with the UE1, or replies to a message that the UE1 has established a connection. The following operations may also be performed:
1) not send the capability of UE2 to UE 1;
2) using previously stored capabilities of the UE 1;
3) the capabilities of the UE1 are not stored.
1) And 2), and 3) are and/or, either or both may be performed.
For the UE1 side:
if the UE1 does not receive any message for the UE2, no action may be taken;
if the UE1 receives the UE2ID or the message about connection establishment sent by the UE2, it is determined that the UE2 is a UE about connection establishment according to the reception of the UE2ID or the message about connection establishment.
1) Using previously stored capabilities of the UE 2;
2) the capabilities of the UE2 are not stored.
1) And 2) the relationship of and/or, either or both may be performed.
The direct link system of NR will be described as an example.
Example 1: in this example, the identification information is transmitted when the connection is established through the PC5-S, and the UE1 sends the identification information of the UE1 through a Direct Communication Request message.
Fig. 6 is a schematic diagram of a user identification process implementation flow 1, as shown in the figure, which may include:
step 601, the UE1 sends the identification information of the UE1 through Direct Communication Request message.
The UE2 determines whether it has previously established a connection with the UE1 through the received identification information of the UE 1.
If so, the UE2 replies in a Direct Communication Accept message with the UE2ID that had previously established a connection with the UE 1.
In step 602, the UE2 replies with a Direct Communication Accept message including the UE2ID that had previously established a connection with the UE1, notifying the UE1 that a connection has been established.
At this time, the following steps are also included:
1) informing the AS layer of the UE2 that the connection between AS layers does not need to be established and the UE capability does not need to be interacted, and transmitting the subsequent service by using the previously established connection;
2) and the communication connection of the NAS layer is not established, the UE interaction capability is not required, and the previously established connection is used for transmitting the subsequent service.
1) And 2) a relationship of and/or, either or both may be performed.
The UE1 determines that the UE2 is a UE that has previously established a connection according to the reception of the Direct Communication Accept message sent by the UE 2.
1) Informing the AS layer of the UE1 that the connection of AS layer is not required to be established and the capability of UE interaction is not required, and transmitting the subsequent service by using the previously established connection;
2) and the communication connection of the NAS layer is not established, the capability of the UE does not need to be interacted, and the previously established connection is used for transmitting the subsequent service.
1) And 2) a relationship of and/or, either or both may be performed.
Step 603, if the V2X service data over unified link (V2X unicast service data) is established, transmitting data on the previous connection.
Subsequent traffic is transmitted using the previously established connection, i.e., current traffic may be transmitted over the communication connection previously established by the UE1 and the UE2, with the same destination ID.
Data packets sent to the same UE may be multiplexed in the same MAC PDU for transmission (may be data packets of different services, or data packets with the same destination ID or different destination IDs).
If the connection is not established, then,
establishing AS layer connection for the step 1);
and 2) establishing the communication connection of the NAS layer.
Example 2: in this example, the identification information is transmitted when the PC5-S establishes a connection, the UE1 still sends a Direct Communication Request message carrying the identification of the UE1 used for the connection establishment according to the existing procedure, and the UE2 sends the identification information of the UE2 in the Direct Communication Accept message.
Fig. 7 is a schematic diagram of a process flow 2 for implementing a user identification process, as shown in the figure, the process flow may include:
in step 701, the UE1 sends the UE1id for establishing the connection through Direct Communication Request message.
In step 702, after receiving the Direct Communication Request message sent by the UE1, the UE2 sends the identification information of the UE2 in a Direct Communication Accept message.
The UE1 determines whether it has previously established a connection with the UE2 by receiving the Direct Communication Accept message sent by the UE2 and the received identification information of the UE 2.
If so, then:
1) informing the AS layer of the UE1 that RRC connection does not need to be established; UE capability interaction is also not required, since AS layer configuration may need to be configured according to different QoS; transmitting subsequent services using the established connection;
2) not establishing communication connection of the NAS layer; interactive UE capabilities are also not required, since AS layer configuration may need to be configured according to different QoS; transmitting subsequent services using the previously established connection;
1) and 2) the relationship of and/or, either or both may be performed.
Step 703, optionally, the UE1 may also notify the UE2 that the connection has been established (depending on the AS layer connection establishment procedure, if the UE1 initiates the AS layer connection establishment procedure, then the UE2 does not need to be notified), then there are:
1) informing the AS layer of the UE2 that RRC connection does not need to be established; UE capability interaction is also not required, since AS layer configuration may need to be configured according to different QoS; transmitting subsequent services using the established connection;
2) the communication connection of the NAS layer is not established; UE capability interaction is also not required, since AS layer configuration may need to be configured according to different QoS; subsequent traffic is transmitted using the previously established connection.
1) And 2) a relationship of and/or, either or both may be performed.
And step 704, if the V2X service data over unicast link (V2X unicast service data) is established, transmitting data on the previous connection.
If no connection is established:
establishing AS layer connection for the step 1);
and 2) establishing the communication connection of the NAS layer.
Example 3: in this example, the UE1 sends the identification information of UE1 via Sidelink RRC setup request by transmitting the identification information during SL RRC connection establishment.
Fig. 8 is a schematic diagram of a process 3 implemented by a user identification process, as shown, the process may include:
step 801, the UE1 sends the identification information of the UE1 through the Sidelink RRC setup request.
The UE2 determines whether it has previously established a connection with the UE1 through the received identification information of the UE 1.
If so, the UE2 replies in the Sidelink RRC setup with that UE2ID that had previously established a connection with UE 1.
Step 802, the UE2 replies through the Sidelink RRC setup, including the UE2ID that had previously established a connection with the UE1, informing the UE1 that a connection has been established.
At this time, the following steps can be carried out:
1) the AS layer of the UE2 does not need to establish AS layer connection and interact UE capability, and uses the connection established before to transmit subsequent services;
2) and the communication connection of the NAS layer is not established, the capability of the UE does not need to be interacted, and the previously established connection is used for transmitting the subsequent service.
1) And 2) a relationship of and/or, either or both may be performed.
The UE1 determines that the UE2 is a UE that has previously established a connection according to the reception of the Sidelink RRC setup sent by the UE 2.
1) The AS layer of the UE1 transmits subsequent services by using the previously established connection without establishing AS layer connection and interacting UE capability;
2) and the communication connection of the NAS layer is not established, the UE interaction capability is not required, and the previously established connection is used for transmitting the subsequent service.
1) And 2) a relationship of and/or, either or both may be performed.
And step 803, if the V2X service data over unicast link (V2X unicast service data) is established, transmitting data on the previous connection.
If no connection is established:
establishing AS layer connection for the step 1);
and 2) establishing the communication connection of the NAS layer.
Example 4: in this example, through transmitting the identification information in the SL RRC connection setup procedure, the UE1 carries the source identification and the destination identification (same as the current procedure) for connection setup in the Sidelink RRC setup request message, and the UE2 sends the identification information of the UE2 in the Sidelink RRC setup.
Fig. 9 is a schematic diagram of a user identification process implementing flow 4, as shown, the process may include:
step 901, the UE1 sends the source identifier and the destination identifier for this connection establishment through the Sidelink RRC setup request, where the source identifier is the identifier of the UE1 for this connection establishment.
After receiving the Sidelink RRC setup request sent by the UE1, the UE2 sends the identification information of the UE2 in the Sidelink RRC setup, but the identification information of the UE2 may be sent in another message.
The UE1 determines whether it has previously established a connection with the UE2 according to the received identity information of the UE2 according to the received Sidelink RRC setup sent by the UE 2.
If so, then:
1) the AS layer of the UE1 does not need to establish RRC connection; interactive UE capabilities are also not required, since AS layer configuration may need to be configured according to different QoS; transmitting subsequent services using the established connection;
2) the communication connection of the NAS layer is not established; interactive UE capabilities are also not required, since AS layer configuration may need to be configured according to different QoS; transmitting subsequent services using the previously established connection;
1) and 2) the relationship of and/or, either or both may be performed.
Step 903, optionally, the UE1 may further notify the UE2 that the connection has been established (depending on the AS layer connection establishment procedure, if the UE1 initiates the AS layer connection establishment procedure, then the UE2 does not need to be notified), and then:
1) the AS layer of UE2 does not need to establish RRC connection; UE capability interaction is also not required, since AS layer configuration may need to be configured according to different QoS; transmitting subsequent services using the established connection;
2) not establishing communication connection of the NAS layer; interactive UE capabilities are also not required, since AS layer configuration may need to be configured according to different QoS; subsequent traffic is transmitted using the previously established connection.
1) And 2) a relationship of and/or, either or both may be performed.
For example, the UE1 may notify the UE2 that the connection has been established via a Sidelink RRC setup complete message that includes one or more of the UE1ID sent by the UE1 in the Sidelink RRC setup request, the layer-2ID used by the UE2 and the UE1 when the connection was previously established, and the IE indicating that the RRC connection is released.
Step 904, if the V2X service data over unified link (V2X unicast service data) is established, transmitting data on the previous connection.
If the connection is not established;
establishing AS layer connection for the step 1);
and 2) establishing the communication connection of the NAS layer.
Example 5: in this example, the UE1 carries the identification information of the UE1 in the message of transmitting UE capability or requesting UE capability by transmitting the identification information in the message of transmitting UE capability or requesting UE capability, and optionally, the UE2 replies with the identification information of the UE2 and/or the capability of the UE 2.
Fig. 10 is a schematic diagram of a user identification process implementation flow 5, as shown, which may include:
step 1001, the UE1 transmits the identification information of the UE1 in a message transmitting the UE capability or requesting the UE capability.
The UE2 determines whether it has previously established a connection with the UE1 through the received identification information of the UE 1.
If so, optionally, the UE2 replies to the UE1 (or may not reply) with the UE2ID that had previously established a connection with the UE1, or replies to a message that the UE1 has established a connection.
Step 1002, which is an optional step, the UE2 replies to the UE1, which includes the UE2ID that has previously established a connection with the UE1, and notifies the UE1 that a connection has been established.
At this time, the following steps are also included:
1) not send the capability of UE2 to UE 1;
2) using previously stored capabilities of the UE 1;
3) the capabilities of the UE1 are not stored.
1) And 2), and 3) are and/or, either or both may be performed.
The UE1 determines that the UE2 is a UE that has previously established a connection according to receiving the notification that the UE2ID sent by the UE2 or the connection with the UE1 has been established, then,
