The present disclosure will be described in detail below with reference to specific embodiments shown in the drawings. These embodiments do not limit the disclosure, and structural, methodological, or functional changes made by those skilled in the art according to these embodiments are included in the scope of the disclosure.

In the following, some embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, and features in the following examples and embodiments may be combined with each other without conflict.
As shown in fig. 1 and fig. 11, an electronic device 100 according to an embodiment of the disclosure includes a host module 10 and a display module 20, wherein the display module 20 is rotatably connected to the host module 10 through a hinge mechanism 23. The electronic device 100 may include a notebook computer, a learning machine for children, a personal digital assistant, and other electronic products with screens. The host module 10 may include a keyboard 11, a main control board 12 disposed under the keyboard 11, and the like. The electronic device 100 is exemplarily illustrated as a notebook computer in fig. 1.
As shown in fig. 4 to 9, the display module 20 includes a housing 21 and a display screen 22 mounted in the housing 21. The housing 21 includes a rear cover 211, a bezel 212, and a front bezel 213. The frame 212 is connected to the rear cover 211 and cooperates with the rear cover 211 to form an accommodating space for accommodating the display screen 22. The front frame 213 is connected to the bezel 212 and covers the edge of the display screen 22, and the size of the bezel 212 in the direction opposite to the front frame 213 and the rear cover 211 is greater than or equal to the thickness of the display screen 22. On the basis that the front frame 213 is fixed to the display screen 22, the size of the front frame 213 covering the display screen 22 is as small as possible, so as to avoid the influence on the high screen ratio of the display module 20 due to the large shielding size of the front frame 213.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the display module 20 further includes a rotating shaft mechanism 23 for rotatably connecting with the host module 10, and the display module 20 can rotate relative to the host module 10 through the rotating shaft mechanism 23. Wherein the display screen 22 abuts against the rotation shaft mechanism 23. The rotating shaft mechanisms 23 are disposed at the middle position of the bottom of the display module 20, the number of the rotating shaft mechanisms 23 may be at least two, and the at least two rotating shaft mechanisms 23 are disposed at the bottom of the display module 20. The hinge mechanism 23 extends downward from the bottom of the display module 20. The side walls 231 and the base plate 232 may be integrally formed with the rear cover 211.
The hinge mechanism 23 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure includes a side wall 231 connected to the rear cover 211, a base plate 232 connected to the side wall 231, a hinge cover 233 assembled to the base plate 232 and the side wall 231, and a hinge (not shown) provided at both ends of the base plate 232. The rotating shaft may be disposed on the wall shells at the two ends of the rotating shaft mechanism 23, and the rotating shaft may also be embedded in the cavity formed by the substrate 232, the side wall 231, and the rotating shaft cover 233. The rotating shaft mechanism 23 is rotatably connected with the host module 10 through rotating shafts at two ends. The substrate 232 and the sidewall 231 are bent, the sidewall 231 is located in the extending direction of the rear cover 211, the rotating shaft cover 233 is an arc surface connected to the free end of the sidewall 231 and the free end of the substrate 232, and the rotating shaft cover 233 is disposed on the arc surface to facilitate the rotation of the display module 20 relative to the host module 10.
The display module 20 further includes a control panel 24 electrically connected to the display screen 22, and the control panel 24 is used for controlling the display of the display screen 22. As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the existing control panel is disposed below the display screen 22, the control panel 24 is located between the display screen 22 and the rotating shaft mechanism 23, and in order to fix the display screen 22, the front frame 213 needs to cover the control panel 24, so as to make the front frame 213 wider, which results in a reduced screen area of the display module 20 and an increased weight of the whole device. In order to solve the technical problem, the present disclosure improves the setting position of the control panel 24 in the display module 20, so that the display module 20 increases the screen occupation ratio.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 4-7, the control panel 24 is disposed between the display screen 22 and the back cover 211. In order to avoid increasing the thickness of the display module 20, the accommodating portion 214 is disposed on a side of the rear cover 211 opposite to the display screen 22, and the control panel 24 is disposed in the accommodating portion 214. One side of the back cover 211 opposite to the display screen 22 is a plane or an arc surface, that is, the control panel 24 is disposed between the display screen 22 and the back cover 211, which does not affect the appearance of the display module 20. The accommodating portion 214 is disposed at an end of the rear cover 211 close to the hinge mechanism 23, so as to reduce the number of circuits connecting the control panel 24 and the host module 10. Of course, the control panel 24 can be disposed at any position of the display screen 22 and the rear cover 211 according to the space design requirement of the display module 20.
In this embodiment, the control panel 24 is disposed between the display screen 22 and the rear cover 211, so that the control panel 24 is prevented from occupying the space of the display surface of the display module 20, and the design of the front frame 213 is facilitated to be narrow, thereby meeting the requirement of the high screen ratio of the display module 20.
In another embodiment, as shown in fig. 8 and 9, the control panel 24 can be further disposed in a cavity surrounded by the substrate 232, the sidewall 231 and the hinge cover 233, so that an additional accommodating space is not required for the control panel 24, and the control panel 24 can make reasonable use of the space in the display module 20. In this embodiment, the control panel 24 is attached to the sidewall 231, so as to prevent the control panel 24 from contacting the substrate 232, the sidewall 231, and the cover 233, which surround the devices or traces in the cavity.
In this embodiment, the control panel 24 can be further disposed in the cavity surrounded by the substrate 232, the sidewall 231 and the rotating shaft cover 233, and the control panel 24 can reasonably utilize the idle space in the display module 20, so as to avoid the display panel occupying the space of the display surface in the display module 20, facilitate the light and thin design of the display module 20, facilitate the design of the front frame 213 to be narrow, and meet the requirement of the high screen ratio of the display module 20.
In other embodiments, as shown in fig. 10 and 11, the display module 20 further includes a data line 251 connected to the display screen 22 and a connector 252 connected to a free end of the data line 251. The display module 20 further includes a control panel 24 electrically connected to the display screen 22, the control panel 24 is disposed on the host module 10, and the connector 252 is connected to the control panel 24. Specifically, the control panel 24 is disposed on the main control board 12 of the host module 10 and is in communication connection with the main control board 12, and the display module 20 is in communication connection with the host module 10 through the data line 251 and the connector 252. The data lines 251 are led out from the lower portion of the display screen 22, and the routing of the data lines 251 can be disposed in a cavity surrounded by the substrate 232, the sidewall 231, and the rotation shaft cover 233, so as to achieve the effect of hiding the routing. In this embodiment, the control panel 24 is disposed on the host module 10 and connected to the display screen 22 and the control panel 24 through the data line 251, so that the display panel is prevented from occupying the space of the display surface in the display module 20, and the design of the front frame 213 is facilitated to be narrow, thereby satisfying the requirement of the display module 20 for high screen ratio.

Claims (10)

4. The display module according to claim 3, wherein the accommodating portion is disposed at an end of the rear cover close to the hinge mechanism.
5. The display module according to claim 3, wherein a side of the rear cover opposite to the display screen is a plane or an arc.

The display module assembly of claim 1, wherein the hinge mechanism comprises a sidewall connected to the rear cover, a base plate connected to the sidewall, a hinge cover assembled to the base plate and the sidewall, and a hinge disposed at two ends of the base plate; the substrate and the side wall are bent, and the side wall is located in the extending direction of the rear cover.
7. The display module assembly of claim 6, further comprising a control panel electrically connected to the display screen, wherein the control panel is disposed in a cavity enclosed by the substrate, the sidewall and the shaft cover.

The display module assembly of claim 1, further comprising a data line connected to the display screen and a connector connected to a free end of the data line, wherein the display module assembly further comprises a control panel electrically connected to the display screen, the control panel is disposed on the host module, and the connector is connected to the control panel.
