Smoldering of a cigarette refers to slow burning of the cigarette when not burning. The invention aims to provide a cigarette smoldering test system which can be used for accurately, conveniently and efficiently testing the smoldering time and the smoldering rate of a cigarette, and is simple in structure and convenient to operate. The invention discloses a cigarette smoldering test system in a first aspect, which comprises:
a fixture configured to hold a cigarette to be tested;

Taking a middle cigarette with a certain specification number, wherein the circumference of the cigarette is 20 mm. The cigarettes were tested after being equilibrated in a constant temperature and humidity environment (temperature 22 ℃, relative humidity RH 60%) for 48 hours before testing, the distance between the first and second positions of the tested cigarettes being 40 mm. 6 cigarettes of the same size were randomly tested, and as shown in Table 2, the average smoldering time of the smoldering cigarette was determined to be 332.16s, the variance was 12.36s, the relative standard deviation RSD was 3.72%, and the average smoldering rate was determined to be 8.30 s/mm.

In comparison with Table 1, it can be seen that the mean smoldering time of the medium cigarette of the size is relatively short and the variance is large compared to the conventional cigarette. The smoldering rate of the medium cigarette with the specification number is faster than that of the conventional cigarette.
Example 3
Taking a thin cigarette with a certain specification number, wherein the circumference of the cigarette is 17 mm. The cigarettes were tested after being equilibrated in a constant temperature and humidity environment (temperature 22 ℃, relative humidity RH 60%) for 48 hours before testing, the distance between the first and second positions of the tested cigarettes being 40 mm. 6 cigarettes of the same size were randomly tested, and as shown in Table 3, the average smoldering time of the smoldering cigarette was determined to be 280.5s, the variance was 12.01s, the relative standard deviation RSD was 4.28%, and the average smoldering rate was determined to be 7.01 s/mm.

Compared with tables 1 and 2, the average smoldering time of the thin-to-cigarette is shorter than that of the conventional cigarette and the medium cigarette. The smoldering rate of the fine cigarette with the specification number is faster than that of the conventional cigarette, and the relative standard deviation is larger.

Claims (15)

1. A cigarette smoldering test system, comprising:
a fixing device (13) configured to fix a cigarette to be tested;
a first burn-off member (11) configured to be located in a first position on a smoking section (21) of the cigarette to be burned off when the cigarette smolders to the first position under test;
a second burn-off member (12) arranged to be located at a second position of the smoking section (21) of the cigarette axially spaced from the first position to be burned off when the cigarette smolders to the second position under test;
The timing device is in signal connection with the first burning part (11) and the second burning part (12) and is configured to automatically record a first time after the first burning part (11) is burnt out and automatically record a second time after the second burning part (12) is burnt out.
2. The cigarette smoldering testing system of claim 1, further comprising a smoking device configured to smoke the cigarette after the cigarette is lit at the time of testing.
3. The cigarette smoldering testing system of claim 2, wherein said suction device comprises a syringe.
4. The cigarette smoldering test system of claim 1, characterized in that said first and second burn-outs (11, 12) comprise combustible wires, said cigarette smoldering test system further comprising a wire support device for supporting said first and second burn-outs (11, 12) during testing.
5. The cigarette smoldering testing system of claim 4, wherein the linear support device comprises:
a first groove (1411) and a second groove (1422) configured to mate with the first fuse (11), the first groove (1411) and the second groove (1422) being flush and spaced apart; and
A third recess (1413) and a fourth recess (1424) configured to mate with the second fuse (12), the third recess (1413) and the fourth recess (1424) being flush and spaced apart.
6. The cigarette smoldering testing system of claim 5, wherein the linear support device comprises:
a first bar (141), the first and third grooves (1411, 1413) being located on the first bar (141) and perpendicular to an axis of the first bar (141); and
a second bar (142) parallel to said first bar (141), said second groove (1422) and said fourth groove (1424) being located on said second bar (142) and perpendicular to the axis of said second bar (142).
7. The cigarette smoldering testing system of any of claims 1-6, further comprising a control device configured to be in signal connection with the timing device, and to automatically calculate the smoldering time and/or the smoldering rate obtained by the cigarette test according to the timing result of the timing device.
8. The cigarette smoldering testing system of any of claims 1-6, wherein the timing device comprises:
A timer (151);
a first detection device (1511) in signal connection with the timer (151) and configured to acquire a first detection signal of the first burnout (11) blowing, wherein the timer (151) is configured to automatically record the first time after receiving the first detection signal; and
the second detection device (1512) is in signal connection with the timer (151) and configured to acquire a second detection signal of the second burnout component (12) burnout, and the timer (151) is configured to automatically record the second time after receiving the second detection signal.
9. A method for testing cigarette smoldering using the cigarette smoldering testing system of any one of claims 1 to 8, comprising:
fixing the cigarette to be tested by using the fixing device (13);
respectively arranging the first burning-off piece (11) and the second burning-off piece (12) on a first position and a second position of a smoking section (21) of the cigarette, wherein the first position and the second position are respectively close to the front end surface and the rear end surface of the smoking section (21) of the cigarette, the first position keeps a first distance from the front end surface of the smoking section (21) of the cigarette, and the second position keeps a second distance from the rear end surface of the smoking section (21) of the cigarette;
Igniting the front end of the cigarette to enable the cigarette to be smoldered, automatically recording first time by the timing device when the cigarette is smoldered to a first position and the first burning-off piece (11) is burnt off, and automatically recording second time by the timing device when the cigarette is smoldered to a second position and the second burning-off piece (12) is burnt off.
10. The cigarette smoldering test method of claim 9, comprising completing a first puff on the cigarette prior to smoldering the cigarette.
11. The cigarette smoldering test method of claim 10, wherein the first distance is greater than or equal to 10 mm; the first mouth of the cigarette is sucked, the suction capacity of the cigarette is 25-55 ml, and the suction time is 1-2.5 s.
12. The method for testing the smoldering of the cigarette as recited in claim 9, wherein the first burning component (11) and the second burning component (12) each comprise a combustible wire, and wherein the step of respectively arranging the first burning component (11) and the second burning component (12) at the first position and the second position of the cigarette comprises the step of tensioning the wires of the first burning component (11) and the second burning component (12).
13. The method for testing the smoldering of the cigarette as recited in claim 12, wherein the step of respectively arranging the first burning part (11) and the second burning part (12) on the first position and the second position of the cigarette further comprises the step of enabling the line bodies of the first burning part (11) and the second burning part (12) to be parallel.
14. The cigarette smoldering test method of claim 13, wherein said cigarette smoldering test system further comprises a linear support device, the wire body supporting device comprises a first strip-shaped part (141) and a second strip-shaped part (142) which are parallel to each other, a first groove (1411) and a third groove (1413) are arranged on the first strip-shaped element (141), a second groove (1422) and a fourth groove (1424) are arranged on the second strip-shaped member (142), the first groove (1411) and the second groove (1422) are arranged in a flush and spaced manner, the third groove (1413) and the fourth groove (1424) are arranged in a flush and spaced manner, the first (1411) and third (1413) grooves being perpendicular to the axis of the first bar (141), said second recess (1422) and said fourth recess (1424) being perpendicular to the axis of said second bar (142);
respectively arranging the first burning-off piece (11) and the second burning-off piece (12) on a first position and a second position of the cigarette, and the method comprises the following steps:
-making the cigarettes parallel to the first strip (141) and the second strip (142) and the first burn-off (11) cooperating with the first groove (1411) and the second groove (1422), and the second burn-off (12) cooperating with the third groove (1413) and the fourth groove (1424).
15. The cigarette smoldering test method of any of claims 9-14, further comprising: and according to the timing result of the timing device, automatically calculating the smoldering time and/or the smoldering rate obtained by the cigarette test by using a control device.
