Abstract
The embodiment of the application discloses a scheduling method of terminal equipment, which is used for reducing the waste of power consumption of the terminal equipment. The method in the embodiment of the application comprises the following steps: first information sent by a terminal device to a base station, wherein the first information is used for indicating a time domain position measured by the terminal device; and the terminal equipment determines a target time domain position according to the first information, wherein the target time domain position is a time domain position which can be received by the terminal equipment and scheduled by the base station.
Description
Technical Field
The present application relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a scheduling method for a terminal device, and a base station.
Background
Since the data stream is usually bursty, the power consumption can be reduced by turning off the receiving circuit of the terminal device when no data is transmitted, thereby improving the battery service time. The connected discontinuous reception (C-DRX) mechanism in the connected state refers to configuring a C-DRX cycle (C-DRX cycle) for the terminal device, where the C-DRX cycle is composed of "On Duration" and "Opportunity for DRX". Referring to fig. 1, in the "On Duration" period, the terminal device monitors and receives a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) in an active period, and in the "Opportunity for DRX" period, the terminal device does not receive the PDCCH to reduce power consumption.
When the terminal equipment carries out intra-frequency (intra-frequency) measurement, the position for carrying out measurement is determined from a synchronization signal block measurement time configuration (SMTC) sent by a base station, and a receiving circuit is started to receive a reference signal.
In the prior art, the base station only schedules the terminal equipment in the C-DRX activation period according to the C-DRX mechanism, and when the terminal equipment is in the C-DRX dormant period, the base station does not schedule the terminal equipment, and the terminal equipment closes the receiving circuit so as to reduce the power consumption. If the terminal equipment just needs to perform the same-frequency measurement in the C-DRX sleep period, the terminal equipment starts a receiving circuit for receiving the reference signal, and the power consumption is wasted.

Detailed Description
The embodiment of the application provides a scheduling method of terminal equipment, which is used for reducing the waste of power consumption of the terminal equipment.
The scheduling method of the terminal device provided in the embodiment of the present application is applicable to various wireless communication systems, for example, may be applied to a fifth generation (5G) mobile communication system or a future mobile communication system, and the present application is not limited thereto.
The base station according to the embodiments of the present application may include various devices providing a communication function for a terminal in a radio access network, for example, macro base stations, micro base stations, relay stations, or access points in various forms. In systems using different radio access technologies, the names of base stations may be different, for example, in future communication mobile communication systems, referred to as next generation node B (gNB); in a Long Term Evolution (LTE) network, referred to as an evolved node B (eNodeB), eNB for short; in addition, in a scenario where an eNB in LTE is connected to a 5th generation core (5 GC), the eNB is also referred to as NG-eNB and is connected to the 5GC via an NG interface. The embodiments of the present application do not limit the specific technology and the specific device form adopted by the base station.
The terminal equipment (UE) according to the embodiments of the present application may include various handheld devices, vehicle-mounted devices, wearable devices, computing devices or other processing devices connected to a wireless modem with wireless communication functions, and various forms of mobile stations or user equipment. The embodiment of the present application does not limit the specific technology and the specific device form adopted by the terminal device.
In order to facilitate understanding of the scheduling method of the terminal device provided in the embodiment of the present application, a C-DRX mechanism and common frequency measurement of the terminal device are briefly introduced at first:
since the data stream is usually bursty, power consumption can be reduced by turning off the receiving circuit of the terminal device when no data is transmitted, thereby improving battery life. Discontinuous reception (C-DRX) in a connected state is a mechanism for saving the power of a terminal device under the condition of ensuring effective data transmission.
In the C-DRX mechanism, a base station configures a C-DRX cycle (C-DRX cycle) for a terminal device, wherein the C-DRX cycle consists of two parts of 'On Duration' and 'Opportunity for DRX'. Referring to fig. 1, a typical C-DRX cycle is shown, in which an "On Duration" period is an active period, a terminal device monitors and receives a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH); in the "Opportunity for DRX" period, the terminal device does not receive the PDCCH to reduce power consumption.
In the connected state, the terminal device performs Radio Resource Management (RRM) measurement, including common frequency measurement, according to the configuration information of the base station. It should be noted that the measurement mentioned in the embodiments of the present application refers to common-frequency measurement, and is hereinafter referred to as measurement for short. When the terminal device performs measurement, the terminal device needs to be in an awake state, and the terminal device opens the receiving circuit, so that the PDCCH can be monitored while receiving a Reference Signal (RS). That is, the terminal device can perform both measurement and receive base station scheduling, and there is no scheduling limitation.
The terminal equipment measurement is carried out at a specific position, and the base station indicates the time domain position which can be used for carrying out the measurement by the terminal equipment through the measurement configuration information. Specifically, the SMTC window (SMTC window) indicates a location where the terminal device can perform measurement. Referring to FIG. 2, an exemplary SMTC window is shown. The SMTC windows are generally configured to occur periodically. And the terminal equipment selects one or more from the SMTC window to measure according to actual needs.
Since the base station cannot acquire the specific time period for the terminal device to perform measurement, when the terminal device performs measurement, the base station does not schedule the terminal device although the terminal device turns on the receiving circuit to be in the wake-up state for receiving the reference signal. At this time, the power consumption of the terminal device will be wasted.
The embodiment of the application provides a scheduling method of terminal equipment, which is used for reducing the power consumption waste of the terminal equipment. In order to make the objects, features and advantages of the present invention more apparent and understandable, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is apparent that the embodiments described below are only a part of the embodiments of the present application, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application, and shall be described below with reference to specific embodiments.

In the scheduling method of the terminal device provided in the embodiment of the present application, the terminal device may send first information indicating a time domain position measured by the terminal device to the base station, and determine a target time domain position capable of receiving scheduling of the base station according to the first information. Since the base station obtains the time domain position measured by the terminal device, the base station and the terminal device can perform scheduling at the target time domain position determined according to the first information. When the terminal equipment is started to be in an awakening state during measurement, the power consumption waste of the terminal equipment caused by the fact that the base station cannot schedule the terminal equipment due to the fact that the time domain position measured by the terminal equipment is not obtained can be avoided.

Specifically, in this embodiment, after determining that the target time domain position is the active period of the first C-DRX cycle, the base station may instruct the terminal device to monitor the PDCCH in the first C-DRX cycle by sending a power saving signal to the terminal device. Optionally, the base station may also send a power saving signal to the terminal device instructing the terminal device to monitor or not monitor the PDCCH in the second C-DRX cycle.
For example, referring to fig. 15, it is shown that, in another embodiment of the scheduling method for a terminal device in the embodiment of the present application, a base station sends a power saving signal to the terminal device before each C-DRX cycle, and since the activation periods of cycle 1, cycle 3, and cycle 5 are determined as the target time domain location, the function saving signal sent by the base station instructs the terminal device to monitor a PDCCH in the activation periods of cycle 1, cycle 3, and cycle 5 before cycle 1, cycle 3, and cycle 5, which are shown by solid line boxes in the figure. In addition, before the C-DRX cycle in which the active period does not include the measured time domain position, that is, cycle 2 and cycle4, the base station may also send a power saving signal to the terminal device, and according to actual needs, for example, whether there is data to be sent or not, the power saving signal may instruct the terminal device to monitor the PDCCH, for example, the terminal device in the active period of cycle 2 monitors the PDCCH; alternatively, the power save signal may also indicate that the terminal device is not monitoring the PDCCH, e.g., the terminal device is not monitoring the PDCCH during the active period of cycle4, which is shown by the dashed box.
1107. The terminal equipment determines a target time domain position;
the terminal device receives a power saving signal sent by the base station, wherein the power saving signal is used for instructing the terminal device to monitor the PDCCH in the first C-DRX period. The terminal device may determine the active period of the first C-DRX cycle as the target time domain location according to the power saving signal. The active period of the first C-DRX period comprises the time domain position measured by the terminal equipment.
1108. The base station schedules the terminal equipment at the target time domain position;
step 1108 is similar to step 506 in the embodiment of fig. 5, and is not described herein again.
And fourthly, the target time domain position containing the measured DRX activation period is indicated through a power saving signal sending mode.
Please refer to fig. 16, which is an interactive schematic diagram of another embodiment of a scheduling method of a terminal device in the embodiment of the present application;
1601. the base station sends SMTC to the terminal equipment;
1602. a base station sends discontinuous reception C-DRX configuration information to terminal equipment;
1603. the terminal equipment determines the measured time domain position;
1604. the terminal equipment sends first information to the base station;
1605. a base station determines a target time domain position;
steps 1601 to 1605 are similar to steps 1101 to 1105 in the embodiment corresponding to fig. 11, and are not described herein again.
1606. The base station sends a power saving signal mode to the terminal equipment;
after determining that the active period of the first C-DRX period, in which the active period includes the time domain position measured by the terminal equipment, is the target time domain position, the base station may send a power saving signal mode to the terminal equipment.
The base station configures a power saving signal mode for the terminal device, the power saving signal mode being used for instructing the base station not to send a first power saving signal to the terminal device and to send a second power saving signal to the terminal device, the first power saving signal being used for instructing the terminal device whether to monitor the PDCCH in the first C-DRX period, the second power saving signal being used for instructing the terminal device whether to monitor the PDCCH in the second C-DRX period.
Optionally, the base station sends the power saving signal mode to the terminal device, so that the terminal device may obtain the following information: the method further includes not monitoring the power save signal prior to the first C-DRX cycle, by default monitoring the PDCCH during the active period of the first C-DRX cycle, and monitoring a second power save signal transmitted by the base station prior to the second C-DRX cycle, and determining whether to monitor the PDCCH during the active period of the second C-DRX cycle according to an indication of the second power save signal.
For example, referring to fig. 17, the base station determines that the activation periods of cycle 1 and cycle 5 are the target time domain locations, and therefore, the base station does not send a power saving signal to the terminal device before indicating whether to monitor the PDCCH in cycle 1 and cycle 5, and sends a power saving signal to the terminal device before cycle 2, cycle3 and cycle 4, and the power saving signal may instruct the terminal device to monitor the PDCCH, for example, the activation period terminal device of cycle3 to monitor the PDCCH according to the fact whether there is data to be sent or not; alternatively, the power saving signal may also indicate that the terminal device is not monitoring the PDCCH, e.g. the terminal devices in the active periods of cycle 2 and cycle 4 are not monitoring the PDCCH, which is shown by the dashed box.
1607. The base station sends a second power saving signal to the terminal equipment;
and the base station sends a second power saving signal to the terminal equipment according to the convention of the power saving signal mode, and indicates whether the terminal equipment monitors the PDCCH in the second C-DRX period.
And the terminal equipment receives the second power saving signal sent by the base station, and determines whether to monitor or not monitor the PDCCH in the second C-DRX period according to the second power saving signal. The power save signal may instruct the terminal device to monitor the PDCCH, e.g., the cycle 3 active period terminal device monitors the PDCCH; alternatively, the power saving signal may also instruct the terminal device not to monitor the PDCCH, e.g. the active terminal devices of cycle 2 and cycle 4 do not monitor the PDCCH.
1608. The terminal equipment determines a target time domain position;
and the terminal equipment determines the active period of the first C-DRX period as a target time domain position according to the indication of the power saving signal mode. Optionally, the terminal device may further determine a second C-DRX cycle that needs to monitor the PDCCH according to the received second power saving signal.
1609. The base station schedules the terminal equipment at the target time domain position;
the base station schedules the terminal device at the determined target time domain position, and the terminal device can receive the scheduling of the base station at the target time domain position. Optionally, the terminal device may further receive base station scheduling in a second C-DRX cycle that determines that monitoring of the PDCCH is required, according to the indication of the received second power saving signal.
It should be noted that this step is an optional step, and may or may not be executed, and is not limited herein.
Optionally, the base station may select a part of the positions in the target time domain position to schedule the terminal device, for example, determine whether to schedule in the target time domain position according to whether there is data to be sent.
