Background
Large marine diesel engines require measurement of oil consumption, especially instantaneous oil consumption. The direct weighing method cannot be used due to the heavy dead weight of the diesel engine; the diesel engine needs forced lubrication after shutdown and cannot be kept still; for safety, the cover plate of the engine body is not allowed to be opened in the operating process of the diesel engine and in a short time after the diesel engine is stopped, and a manual oil feeding liquid level dynamic balancing method cannot be used; in the operation process of the diesel engine, the oil pump has large flow, the oil falls back to impact the liquid level of the oil pan, so that the liquid level of the oil pan fluctuates greatly, the volume change of the oil in the oil pan is large under the influence of temperature difference, and the operability of a liquid level dynamic balance method is poor, so that whether the liquid level is balanced or not cannot be judged by oil drop counting.

The valve plate 7 is provided with a small hole 8, and the two one-way valves 5 are arranged in opposite directions. An oil dripping pipe 11 is arranged on the pressure stabilizing box 2, an oil dripping stop valve 13 is arranged on the oil dripping pipe 11, and an oil receiving box 16 is arranged below an oil dripping port 12 of the oil dripping pipe 11. The oil pressure in the surge tank 2 is consistent with that in the oil pan 1.
As shown in fig. 1 and 4, an oil inlet stop valve 9 is arranged on the oil inlet pipe 3, an oil outlet stop valve 10 is arranged on the oil outlet pipe 4, the oil inlet stop valve 9 and the oil outlet stop valve 10 can be opened when measurement is started, and the measurement is closed after the measurement is finished. The oil pan 1 and the surge tank 2 are both provided with a liquid level tube 14, the bottom of the surge tank 2 is provided with an adjusting screw 15 for adjusting the height of the surge tank 2, the oil pan 1 and the liquid level tube 14 on the surge tank 2 can be observed through the adjusting screw 15 on the surge tank 2, so that the oil level in the surge tank 2 is substantially the same as that in the oil pan 1, and the time for achieving liquid level balance is reduced.
The liquid level fluctuation of the oil pan 1 is large, the oil level fluctuation of viscous oil in the pressure stabilizing box 2 is small after the viscous oil passes through the one-way valve 5, and the oil consumption rate of the diesel engine can be measured by using a liquid level balance method on the pressure stabilizing box 2.
Example two:
as shown in fig. 4, the measuring method of the instantaneous oil consumption measuring device of the diesel engine includes the following steps:
(1) after the temperature of the engine oil in the oil pan 1 is stable in a period of operation of the diesel engine, the oil inlet stop valve 9 on the oil inlet pipe 3 and the oil outlet stop valve 10 on the oil outlet pipe 4 are opened, and the liquid level of the engine oil in the pressure stabilizing box 2 is approximately the same as that of the engine oil in the oil pan 1 by observing the liquid level pipes 14 on the oil pan 1 and the pressure stabilizing box 2 and adjusting the adjusting screws 15 on the pressure stabilizing box 2.
(2) When the engine oil liquid level in the oil pan 1 is the same as the height of the oil dripping pipe 11, the oil dripping stop valve 13 is opened, and the liquid level condition is judged by observing the oil dripping condition of the oil dripping port 12. When the oil drops in the oil dropping port 12 at the speed of 30-35 drops per minute, the liquid level is considered to be balanced, the oil dropping stop valve 13 is closed, the engine oil in the oil receiving tank 16 is emptied, and the timing t1 is started.
(3) The diesel engine is continuously operated under the appointed working condition, m1 engine oil is added into the pressure stabilizing box 2, and m1 is slightly larger than the estimated amount of the engine oil consumption of the diesel engine in the appointed time.
(4) After the diesel engine continuously runs for an appointed time under an appointed working condition, the oil dripping stop valve 13 is opened, oil overflows from the oil dripping port 12, when oil is dripped at the speed of 30-35 drops per minute, the liquid level is considered to be balanced, the oil dripping stop valve 13 is closed, timing t2 is ended, the oil quantity m2 in the oil receiving tank 16 is weighed, and the value of dividing m1-m2 by t2-t1 is calculated.
(5) And (5) after the measurement is finished, closing the oil inlet stop valve 9 and the oil outlet stop valve 10.
The liquid level fluctuation of the oil bottom shell 1 is large, the oil level fluctuation of viscous oil in the pressure stabilizing box 2 after passing through the one-way valve 5 is small, and therefore the liquid level balance method can be used for measuring on the pressure stabilizing box 2.
