Description

Method for establishing connection and communication device
Technical Field
The embodiment of the application relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to a method for establishing connection and a communication device.
Background
The Vehicle to X (V2X) information exchange is a key technology of the intelligent transportation system in the future. Current V2X applications include: vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V), vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I), vehicle-to-Pedestrian (V2P), and Vehicle-to-Network (V2N), and Vehicle-to-mobile communication Network. The V2X application is beneficial to improving driving safety, reducing congestion and vehicle energy consumption, improving traffic efficiency, enriching vehicle-mounted entertainment information and the like.
The V2X terminals may communicate with each other through a Sidelink (Sidelink), which is a technology in which terminals communicate information directly through interfaces between each other. Two terminals communicating with each other need to establish a sidelink, simply an sidelink connection, such as an sidelink radio resource control (sidelink radioresource control, SL-RRC) connection, a PC5-S (proximity-services (ProSe) communication 5-S) connection, etc., before communicating with each other via the sidelink.
In the prior art, there is no solution yet how to establish an edge link connection between V2X terminals.
Disclosure of Invention
The embodiment of the application provides a method and a communication device for establishing connection, which are used for providing a scheme for establishing an edge link connection.
In a first aspect, the present application provides a method for establishing a connection, where when a first terminal needs to establish an edge link connection with a second terminal, the first terminal may first acquire a manner of establishing the edge link connection, and then the first terminal establishes an edge link connection with the second terminal by adopting the acquired manner of establishing the edge link connection, where the edge link connection is a direct connection between the first terminal and the second terminal; the mode of establishing the side link connection between the two terminals comprises a mode of controlling the side link connection establishment by the network equipment and a mode of autonomously controlling the side link connection establishment by the terminals. The manner in which the first terminal obtains the establishment of the side link connection may be a manner in which the network device controls the establishment of the side link connection, or may be a manner in which the terminal autonomously controls the establishment of the side link connection. The network device controls the manner of establishing the side link connection, for example, the configuration information of the side link connection is sent to the terminal device by the network, and the terminal device uses the configuration information of the side link connection establishment sent by the network to configure and establish the side link connection; the terminal autonomously controls the manner in which the side link connection is established, for example, the configuration information for the side link connection establishment is determined by the terminal device itself, and the terminal device configures and establishes the side link connection using the configuration information for the side link connection establishment determined by the terminal device itself. The configuration information of the side link connection establishment is, for example, configuration information of each protocol layer of the side link protocol stack.
The terminal firstly acquires the establishment mode, and then establishes the side link connection with another terminal, thereby realizing the establishment of the side link connection between the two terminals.
In one possible implementation, the network device may send, to the first terminal, indication information for indicating a manner of establishing an edge link connection, and when the first terminal obtains the manner of establishing the edge link connection, the first terminal may obtain the manner of establishing the edge link connection according to the indication information sent by the network device for indicating the manner of establishing the edge link connection.
In one possible implementation, the indication information sent by the network device to the first terminal for indicating the manner in which the edge link connection is established may directly indicate the manner in which the edge link connection is established by the first terminal, for example, directly indicate the manner in which the edge link connection is established by the first terminal using the network device, directly indicate the manner in which the edge link connection is established by the first terminal using the terminal autonomous control, or directly indicate which manner is used by the first terminal autonomous selection, where the edge link connection is established by the terminal selection using the network device, and any one of the manner in which the edge link connection is established by the terminal autonomous control.
In this implementation, the terminal obtains the manner in which the sidelink connection is established through participation of the network device.
In one possible implementation, the indication information sent by the network device to the first terminal for indicating the manner of establishing the side link connection may indirectly indicate the manner of establishing the side link connection used by the first terminal, for example, the indication information for indicating the manner of establishing the side link connection includes feature information, where the feature information may include one or more of an attribute of a service, a device type, an access type, a network load indication, and a region range of the terminal. The characteristic information may have a correspondence with a manner in which the side link connection is established. The first terminal may determine one or more of an attribute of a service triggered by the first terminal, a device type of the first terminal, an access type of the first terminal, network load indication information, and an area range where the first terminal is located when the first terminal obtains the mode of establishing the side link connection according to indication information sent by the network device and used for indicating the mode of establishing the side link connection; and the first terminal acquires the mode of establishing the side link connection according to the determined one or more pieces of information and the corresponding relation between the characteristic information and the mode of establishing the side link connection.
When the first terminal acquires the mode of establishing the side link connection, the first terminal determines the proper mode to establish the side link connection more comprehensively and accurately by considering the factors such as the attribute of the service, the equipment type, the access type, the network load, the area range and the like.
In one possible implementation, the indication information sent by the network device to the first terminal for indicating the manner in which the sidelink connection is established may include: a first value controlling the manner in which the sidelink connection is established; the first value is used to compare with a second value generated by the first terminal to determine the manner in which the sidelink connection is established. The second value may be a random number generated by the first terminal. When the first terminal obtains the method of establishing the side link connection according to the indication information sent by the network device and used for indicating the method of establishing the side link connection, the first terminal may generate a second value, and compare the second value with the first value to obtain the method of establishing the side link connection. For example, the second value is a random number generated by the first terminal, if the random number is greater than the first value, the acquired manner of establishing the side link connection is a manner in which the network device controls establishment of the side link connection, and if the random number is not greater than the first value, the manner in which the terminal autonomously controls establishment of the side link connection. Or conversely, if the random number is smaller than the first value, the acquired side link connection establishment mode is a mode of controlling the side link connection establishment by the network device, and if the random number is not smaller than the first value, the acquired side link connection establishment mode is a mode of autonomously controlling the side link connection establishment by the terminal.
The second value is generally generated within a predetermined range, and the first value is within the predetermined range. The network device may decide whether to control the sidelink connection establishment with a high probability by setting the size of the first value.
In one possible implementation, the first terminal may be preconfigured with configuration information for indicating a manner of establishing an edge link connection, where the configuration information may be prestored by the terminal according to a protocol rule, or may be prestored by the terminal when the terminal leaves the factory, and when the first terminal obtains the manner of establishing the edge link connection, may obtain the manner of establishing the edge link connection according to the preconfigured configuration information.
In one possible implementation, the configuration information configured in advance in the first terminal and used for indicating the manner of establishing the side link connection may include a correspondence between feature information and the manner of establishing the side link connection, where the feature information may include one or more of an attribute of a service, a device type of the terminal, an access type, a network load, and a region range. When the first terminal obtains the mode of establishing the side link connection according to the preconfigured configuration information for indicating the mode of establishing the side link connection, the first terminal can determine one or more information in the attribute of the service triggered by the first terminal, the equipment type of the first terminal, the access type, the network load indication and the area range of the first terminal; and the first terminal acquires the mode of establishing the side link connection according to the determined one or more pieces of information and the corresponding relation between the characteristic information and the mode of establishing the side link connection.
When the first terminal acquires the mode of establishing the side link connection, the first terminal determines the proper mode to establish the side link connection more comprehensively and accurately by considering the factors such as the attribute of the service, the equipment type, the access type, the network load, the area range and the like.
In one possible implementation, the network device may send a paging message (paging) to the first terminal, where the paging message may include indication information for indicating a manner in which the sidelink connection is established.
The present application can change the structure of paging message without the indication information for indicating the mode of establishing the side link connection, and adds the indication information for indicating the mode of establishing the side link connection in the paging message, thus, for the network triggering V2X service, the terminal equipment can know the type of the network triggering service (called service) is V2X service in time, and the terminal equipment can do corresponding treatment as early as possible.
In one possible implementation, the paging message may include one or more of the following:
initiating V2X service indication information; the identity of the first terminal; indication information for indicating whether the first terminal needs to establish a connection to a network;
The V2X service indication information may be used to indicate that the V2X service triggers the paging message, for example, because the V2X service is to be performed to start the paging message, and the V2X service indication information may also be used to indicate that the first terminal establishes an edge link connection.
If the paging message includes indication information for indicating the manner of establishing the side link connection and indication information for indicating the first terminal to establish the side link connection to initiate V2X service, the trigger information for establishing the side link connection and the manner of establishing the side link connection can be notified to the first terminal in the same message, so that resource waste caused by sending the message for multiple times is avoided.
The identification of the first terminal may include an identification of a first interface of the first terminal; the first interface is an interface for the first terminal to communicate with the network device, for example, a Uu port; the identifier of the first terminal may also include an identifier of a second interface of the first terminal, where the second interface may be an interface where the first terminal and the second terminal directly communicate, for example, a side link interface.
In one possible implementation, the indication message for indicating the first terminal to establish an edge link connection may include: and the identification of a second terminal, wherein the second terminal is a terminal for establishing an edge link connection with the first terminal. If the first terminal is the primary party in establishing the side link connection, the second terminal is the terminal with which the first terminal establishes the side link connection, wherein "it" identifies the second terminal. The identification of the second terminal may include an identification of a first interface of the second terminal; the first interface is an interface for the second terminal to communicate with the network device, for example, a Uu port; the identifier of the second terminal may also include an identifier of a second interface of the second terminal, where the second interface may be an interface where the first terminal and the second terminal directly communicate, for example, a side link interface.
In one possible implementation, if the network device controls the establishment of the side link connection, the network device may further send configuration information of the side link connection establishment to the first terminal, so that the first terminal establishes the side link connection with the second terminal according to the configuration information of the side link connection establishment; if the terminal autonomously controls the establishment of the side link connection, the first terminal can generate configuration information of the side link connection establishment, and then the first terminal establishes the side link connection with the second terminal according to the configuration information of the side link connection establishment.
In one possible implementation, if the network device controls the establishment of the side link connection, the network device may send configuration information for the establishment of the side link connection to the second terminal; the network device may further send, to the first terminal, indication information for instructing the first terminal to send configuration information for establishing an edge link connection to the second terminal, where the first terminal receives, sent by the network device, the indication information for instructing the first terminal to send the configuration information for establishing an edge link connection to the second terminal, and sends the configuration information for establishing an edge link connection to the second terminal. So that the first terminal and the second terminal can both know the configuration information of the establishment of the side link connection, and the establishment of the side link connection can be quickly and accurately realized.
In one possible implementation, the first terminal establishes an edge link connection with the second terminal, which may be that the first terminal acquires a first period for sending a request message for establishing the edge link connection, and the first terminal sends the request message for establishing the edge link connection according to the acquired first period; the first terminal may further obtain a second period for receiving the response message for establishing the side link connection, and the first terminal may receive the response message for establishing the side link connection according to the second period, where the first period may be the same as or different from the second period.
In one possible implementation, the terminal may be preconfigured with a first period for sending a request message for establishing the side link connection and a second period for receiving a response message for establishing the side link connection, where the preconfiguration refers to pre-storing according to a protocol rule, or may refer to pre-storing when the terminal leaves the factory. The network device may send a first period for sending a request message for establishing the side link connection and a second period for receiving a response message for establishing the side link connection to the terminal, and the first terminal acquires the first period and the second period according to the period sent by the network device. The second period may also be determined according to the first period, the terminal may configure the first period in advance, or the network device may send the first period to the terminal, and the terminal determines the second period according to the first period.
In one possible implementation, the first period indicates that the resource used for sending the request message is periodic, where the resource used for sending the request message may be, for example, a time-frequency resource, and when the first terminal sends the request message according to the first period, the first terminal may select one or a time point or a frequency resource in the first period, and send the request message at the selected time point and/or frequency resource. The second period identifies that the resources for receiving the response message are periodic, which may be time-frequency resources, for example, and the first terminal may select one or a time point or a frequency resource in the second period and receive the response message at the selected time point and/or frequency resource when receiving the response message according to the second period.
In a second aspect, the present application provides a method for establishing a connection, where a first terminal may send a first message to a network device, where the first message includes indication information for indicating that an edge link connection establishment requirement triggers the first message. The network device receives the first message sent by the first terminal. The requirement for establishing an edge link connection refers to the first terminal having a requirement for establishing an edge link connection. The network device may determine whether to agree to establish the side link connection with the first terminal according to the indication information for indicating that the side link connection triggers the first message, and the network device may send the indication information for indicating the side link connection establishment result to the first terminal, where the first terminal receives the indication information for indicating the side link connection establishment result sent by the network device, and the first terminal determines whether to establish the side link connection with the second terminal according to the indication information for indicating the side link connection establishment result.
In one possible implementation, the indicating message for indicating that the first message is triggered by the requirement for establishing the side link connection may include: an identification of a second terminal establishing an edge link connection with the first terminal. The identification of the second terminal may include: an identification of a first interface of the second terminal; the first interface is an interface for the second terminal to communicate with the network device, for example, a Uu port; the identifier of the second terminal may also include an identifier of a second interface of the second terminal, where the second interface may be an interface where the first terminal and the second terminal directly communicate, for example, a side link interface; if the identifier of the second terminal only includes the side link interface, the network device may further determine the Uu port identifier of the second terminal according to the pre-stored correspondence between the side link interface identifier and the Uu port identifier of the terminal, and the side link interface identifier sent by the first terminal. According to the current protocol, when a message is sent to a terminal, the network device uses the identifier of the terminal at the Uu port to send the message. If the identifier of the second terminal is the identifier of the sidelink interface, a paging mechanism of the Uu port based on the identifier of the sidelink interface can be newly defined.

As shown in fig. 1, which is a schematic diagram of a scenario of establishing an edge link connection, when a V2X terminal on any two vehicles needs to communicate with each other, the V2X terminals on the two vehicles can establish the edge link connection so that the two V2X terminals can communicate with each other. When the side link connection is established, a side link connection establishment request can be initiated by one V2X terminal serving as an initiator to another V2X terminal serving as a receiver, and the side link connection establishment request is requested to be established with the other V2X terminal. The initiator here only represents the V2X terminal that initiates the request for establishing an sidelink connection, and in practical application, the initiator initiates the request for establishing an sidelink connection may be because it wants to establish an sidelink connection, or may be indicated by the network side to establish an sidelink connection, that is, the requirement for establishing an sidelink connection may be triggered by the terminal side, or may be triggered by the network side, such as a higher-layer server, or a core network.

The coverage area of the mobile communication network is referred to as a reference to the manner in which the side link connection is established, and is not limited thereto. That is, the terminal in the coverage area of the mobile communication network may use the network device to control the manner of establishing the side link connection, or may use the terminal to autonomously control the manner of establishing the side link connection; terminals outside the coverage area of the mobile communication network can use the terminal to autonomously control the mode of establishing the side link connection; if a terminal outside the coverage area of the mobile communication network has an opportunity to obtain the configuration of the mobile communication network, for example, by forwarding the configuration by a relay terminal, the manner in which the network device controls the establishment of the side link connection may also be used.
In general, when a V2X terminal as an initiator establishes an edge link connection, the establishment manner adopted by the V2X terminal may be determined according to whether the V2X terminal is located in a coverage area of a mobile communication network, and whether a receiver is located in the coverage area of the mobile communication network may not be considered by the V2X terminal as the initiator.
When two V2X terminals establish an edge link connection, configuration information for the establishment of the edge link connection is generally required, and if the network device controls the manner in which the edge link connection is established, the configuration information for the establishment of the edge link connection may be provided by the network device. For example, a V2X terminal as an initiator sends a request for establishing an edge link connection to a network device, and if the network device agrees to the V2X terminal to establish an edge link connection, the network device sends configuration information for establishing an edge link connection to the V2X terminal, and the V2X terminal establishes an edge link connection with another V2X terminal according to the configuration information sent by the network device. Otherwise, i.e. the network device does not agree to the V2X terminal to establish the side link connection, sending rejection indication information for establishing the side link connection to the V2X terminal.
If the method is that the V2X terminal autonomously controls the establishment of the side link connection, the configuration information of the side link connection establishment can be that the V2X terminal generates the configuration information for establishing the side link connection, and the V2X terminal establishes the side link connection with another V2X terminal according to the configuration information generated by the V2X terminal.
There are several ways to establish the side link connection between the V2X terminals, but no scheme is available at present, based on which, as shown in fig. 2, the present application provides a schematic diagram of a process for establishing the side link connection. For convenience of description, the V2X terminal as the initiator is referred to as a first terminal, and the V2X terminal as the receiver is referred to as a second terminal, which are different from each other, and the first terminal and the second terminal may be any V2X terminal capable of establishing an edge link connection.
S201: the first terminal obtains the manner in which the side link connection is established.
S202: and the first terminal establishes the side link connection with the second terminal by adopting the acquired side link connection establishment mode.
The first terminal may communicate with the second terminal over the side link connection and the first terminal may need to establish the side link connection with the second terminal. The mode of establishing the side link connection between the two terminals may be a mode of controlling the side link connection establishment by the network device, or may be a mode of autonomously controlling the side link connection establishment by the terminals.
When the first terminal establishes the side link connection with the second terminal, it should be determined which mode is used to establish the side link connection with the second terminal, and then the first terminal should acquire the mode of establishing the side link connection first, where the acquired mode of establishing the side link connection may be a mode that the network device controls the side link connection to be established, or may be a mode that the terminal autonomously controls the side link connection to be established. The first terminal then establishes an edge link connection with the second terminal in the manner of the acquired edge link connection establishment. The first terminal acquires a mode suitable for the establishment of the self-side link connection, and further the establishment of the side link connection is realized.
The first terminal may acquire the manner of establishing the side link connection through participation of the network device, or acquire the manner of establishing the side link connection through configuration information of a pre-configuration, where the pre-configuration may be defined by a protocol, or be pre-stored when the terminal leaves a factory. The specific procedure is described in detail below for these two ways of acquiring the establishment of the side link connection, respectively.
Mode 1: the terminal acquires the mode of establishing the side link connection through the participation of the network equipment.
The network device may participate in establishment of an sidelink connection between terminals, and the network device may send, to the first terminal, indication information for indicating a manner of establishment of the sidelink connection, where the first terminal obtains, according to the indication information sent by the network device for indicating the manner of establishment of the sidelink connection, the manner of establishment of the sidelink connection.
The network device may, for example, directly tell the first terminal via the indication information in which way to establish the side link connection.
For example, the indication information sent by the network device to the first terminal for indicating the manner in which the side link connection is established may include a manner in which the side link connection is established for indicating the manner in which the side link connection is established by the first terminal.
For example, when the load is heavy, the network device may carry a manner of controlling the establishment of the sidelink connection by the terminal autonomously in the indication information, and when the load is light, the network device may carry a manner of controlling the establishment of the sidelink connection by the network device.
The network device may, for example, indirectly tell the first terminal via the indication information in which way to establish the side link connection.
When the network device indirectly informs the terminal of the manner of establishment, for example, the indication information sent by the network device to the first terminal for indicating the manner of establishment of the side link connection may include feature information, where the feature information has a correspondence with the manner of establishment of the side link connection, and the feature information includes at least one information of an attribute of a service, a device type of the terminal, a network load indication, an access type, and a region range.
The service attribute may be, for example, a security level of the service, and may define a correspondence between the security level of the service and a manner of establishing an edge link connection, where some services of the security level use a network device to control the manner of establishing the edge link connection, and other services of the security level use a terminal to autonomously control the manner of establishing the edge link connection.
The device types may be, for example, a head UE and a member UE of the multicast terminal, a UE with a relatively high processing power and a UE with a relatively low processing power, a UE with a relatively high supported peak rate and a UE with a relatively low supported peak rate, and the like. The correspondence between the types of terminal devices and the manner in which the side link connection is established may be defined, with some types of terminal devices using network devices to control the manner in which the side link connection is established and other types of terminal devices using terminals to autonomously control the manner in which the side link connection is established.
The access type may be, for example, an emergency call type access, a video transmission type access, a general web browsing type access, a calling type access, or a called type access, etc. The correspondence between the access types and the manners of establishing the side link connection may be defined, in which some access type UEs use network devices to control the manners of establishing the side link connection, and in which other access type UEs use terminals to autonomously control the manners of establishing the side link connection.
The method for establishing the network load and the side link connection can be defined, when the network load is low, the terminal is used for autonomously controlling the side link connection establishment mode, the network load is high or low, the network can be directly indicated to the terminal, or the network equipment is firstly configured with a corresponding relation between a network load value and the side link connection establishment mode, then the network equipment is indicated to the load value of the current network of the terminal, and the UE judges the side link connection establishment mode which the UE should use according to the current load value of the network and by combining the corresponding relation between the network load value and the side link connection establishment mode.
The correspondence between the area coverage and the manner of the establishment of the side link connection may be defined, the manner of the establishment of the side link connection controlled by the network device may be used by some area coverage terminal devices, the manner of the establishment of the side link connection controlled by the terminal autonomous by other area coverage terminal devices may be used by other area coverage terminal devices, such as the manner of the establishment of the side link connection controlled by the network edge or the terminal outside the network coverage, the manner of the establishment of the side link connection controlled by the network center or the terminal device inside the network coverage, or the manner of the establishment of the side link connection controlled by the terminal autonomous by the terminal may be defined, or both the manner of the establishment of the side link connection controlled by the terminal may be defined as long as the terminal outside the coverage is only used by the terminal autonomous by the terminal, or the manner of the establishment of the side link connection controlled by the terminal may be defined by the terminal according to the indication information sent by the network or the preconfigured information. Here zone, which may be the concept of V2X already defined area. "some" may be "a plurality" or "one", for example, "some" may be a plurality of zones or a single zone ".
Of course, the indication information for indicating the manner of establishing the side link connection may also include a correspondence between the feature information and the manner of establishing the side link connection. The correspondence between the characteristic information and the manner in which the side link connection is established can be explained with reference to the above examples.
The first terminal may determine at least one of an attribute of a service triggered by the first terminal, a device type of the first terminal, an access type of the first terminal, a network load indication, and an area range where the first terminal is located when the first terminal obtains the mode of establishing the side link connection according to indication information sent by the network device and used for indicating the mode of establishing the side link connection;
and the first terminal acquires a mode for establishing the side link connection according to the determined at least one piece of information and the corresponding relation between the characteristic information and the mode for establishing the side link connection.
When the first terminal acquires the mode of establishing the side link connection, the first terminal determines the proper mode to establish the side link connection more comprehensively by considering the factors such as the attribute of the service, the equipment type, the access type, the network load, the area range and the like.
When the network device indirectly informs the terminal of the manner of establishment, for example, the indication information sent by the network device to the first terminal for indicating the manner of establishment of the side link connection may include a first value for controlling the manner of establishment of the side link connection, where the first value is used to compare with a second value generated by the terminal to determine the manner of establishment of the side link connection. When the first terminal obtains the method of establishing the side link connection according to the indication information sent by the network device and used for indicating the method of establishing the side link connection, the first terminal may generate a second value, and compare the second value with the first value to obtain the method of establishing the side link connection. The second value is a random number generated by the terminal in a preset range, and the first value is also in the preset range.
The first terminal and the network device may agree that, when the second value is greater than the first value, the network device controls the manner of establishing the side link connection, and when the second value is not greater than the first value, the terminal autonomously controls the manner of establishing the side link connection, or when the second value is greater than the first value, the terminal autonomously controls the manner of establishing the side link connection, and when the second value is not greater than the first value, the network device controls the manner of establishing the side link connection.
The network device sends a first value to the plurality of terminals, the first value may represent a probability of the network device controlling the establishment of the side link, when sending a second value to the first terminal, if the second value generated by the terminal is smaller than the first value, the network device establishes the side link connection by adopting a mode of the network device controlling the establishment of the side link connection, if the network device wants to control the establishment of the side link connection with a high probability, the network device may set the first value larger, the probability of the second value generated by the terminal being smaller than the first value becomes larger, and the probability of the network device controlling the establishment of the side link connection becomes larger.
Mode 2: the terminal obtains the mode of establishing the side link connection through the preconfigured configuration information.
The first terminal may store configuration information indicating the manner of establishment of the side link connection in advance, and the configuration information may be stored in advance according to a protocol, or may be stored in advance when the first terminal leaves the factory.
The first terminal may directly obtain the manner of establishing the side link connection according to the configuration information, and for example, the configuration information may include a manner of establishing the side link connection, that is, what manner the terminal can establish the side link connection has been preconfigured.
Of course, the first terminal may also indirectly obtain the manner of establishing the side link connection according to the configuration information, which, similar to the manner 1 described above, may include feature information, where the feature information has a corresponding relationship with the manner of establishing the side link connection, and the feature information includes at least one of an attribute of the service, a device type of the terminal, a network load, an access type, and a region range.
The first terminal may determine at least one of an attribute of a service triggered by the first terminal, a device type of the first terminal, an access type of the first terminal, a network load indication, and an area range of the first terminal when the first terminal obtains the mode of the side link connection according to the preconfigured configuration information for indicating the mode of the side link connection;
And the first terminal acquires the mode of establishing the side link connection according to the determined at least one piece of information and the corresponding relation between the characteristic information and the mode of establishing the side link connection.
When the first terminal acquires the mode of establishing the side link connection, the first terminal determines the proper mode to establish the side link connection more comprehensively by considering the factors such as the attribute of the service, the equipment type, the access type, the network load, the area range and the like.
Similar to the above-mentioned mode 1, the configuration information of the first terminal may further include a first value, and a correspondence relationship between a comparison result of the second value and the first value and a mode of establishing the side link connection.
When the first terminal obtains the mode of establishing the side link connection according to the preconfigured configuration information for indicating the mode of establishing the side link connection, the first terminal may generate a second value, and compare the second value with the first value to obtain the mode of establishing the side link connection.
The above-mentioned mode 2 of acquiring the link connection establishment by the terminal through the preconfigured configuration information may be mainly applied to a scenario in which the terminal is located outside the coverage area of the mobile communication network, and of course, the mode 2 is not limited and may also be applied to a scenario in which the terminal is located within the coverage area of the mobile communication network.
In the above-described mode 1, the network device may send, to the first terminal, indication information for indicating the mode of establishing the sidelink connection, and may use one or more of the following modes, by way of example:
the network device may send dedicated signaling to the first terminal, where the dedicated signaling includes indication information for indicating how the side link connection is established. The dedicated signaling may be an RRC reconfiguration message, an RRC reestablishment message, and a terminal request message (UE Information Request).
The network device may send a broadcast message to the first terminal, where the broadcast message includes indication information for indicating a manner in which the side link connection is established.
The network device may send a paging message (paging) to the first terminal, the paging message (paging) including indication information for indicating a manner in which the side link connection is established.
Correspondingly, the first terminal receives a dedicated signaling or broadcast message or paging message sent by the network device, and obtains indication information for indicating the mode of establishing the side link connection.
The paging message may further include one or more of the following: initiating V2X service indication information; the identity of the first terminal; indication information for indicating whether the first terminal needs to establish a connection to a network.
The following details are given for each piece of information:
description of "identification of first terminal":
the existing paging message generally includes an identifier of the paging object, and when the network device sends the paging message to the first terminal, the paging message includes the identifier of the first terminal, so as to know that the paging message is sent to the first terminal. The identification of the existing paging object is the identification of the first interface, which is the interface where the terminal and the network device communicate, for example, uu port. In the application, the identifier of the first terminal in the paging message may be the identifier of the first interface or the identifier of the second interface, where the second interface is an interface where the first terminal directly communicates with the second terminal, and the second interface is, for example, a side link interface, where the identifier of the second interface may be understood as the identifier of the first terminal on the side link. The identity of the first terminal on the side link may be, for example, a layer 2ID or a layer 1ID of the side link, and the identity of the first interface may be identified according to the identity of the first terminal on the side link, for example, a temporary mobile subscriber identity (temporary mobile subscriber identity, RNTI), a radio network temporary identity (radio network temporary identity, CRNTI), a cell radio network temporary identity (cellradio network temporary identity, CRNTI), and so on.
In the present application, the structure of the paging message may be changed, and the paging message may be added with indication information for indicating the manner of establishment of the side link connection, for example, a new field, and the indication information for indicating the manner of establishment of the side link connection may be carried in the new field. In this way, for the network triggering V2X service, the terminal device can timely know that the type of the network triggering service (called service) is V2X service, and the terminal device can perform corresponding processing as early as possible, for example, for a terminal in a non-connection state (meaning that the terminal is not connected with the mobile communication network), it can determine whether to establish connection with the mobile communication network. Otherwise, if the terminal device first establishes a connection with the mobile communication network device after receiving the paging message, and then the mobile communication network informs the terminal device to use the terminal device to autonomously control the manner of establishing the side link connection, the connection process established between the terminal device and the mobile communication network is wasteful, on one hand, the access resource and the power consumption of the terminal device are wasted, and on the other hand, the time delay of establishing the side link connection of the terminal device is increased.
Description of "initiate V2X traffic indication information":
The paging message may further include V2X service initiation indication information, where the V2X service indication information may be used to indicate that the V2X service triggers the paging message, that is, the reason why the network device sends the paging message to the first terminal is to trigger the V2X service. The V2X service indication information may also be used to indicate the first terminal to establish an edge link connection.
The network device sends a paging message to the first terminal, which indicates that the first terminal establishes an edge link connection, or possibly that another terminal requests the network device to send the paging message to the first terminal, and then the other terminal triggers to establish the edge link connection, or possibly that the network side triggers to establish the edge link connection, for example, a higher-layer server or a core network has a requirement for the first terminal to establish the edge link connection, and further indicates that the network device sends a paging message to the first terminal, which indicates that the first terminal establishes the edge link connection.
If the paging message includes indication information for indicating the manner of establishing the side link connection and V2X service indication information for indicating the first terminal to establish the side link connection, the trigger information for establishing the side link and the manner of establishing the side link can be notified to the first terminal in the same message, so that resource waste caused by sending the message for multiple times is avoided.
If the V2X service indication information is used to indicate the first terminal to establish an edge link connection, the V2X service indication information may include: an identification of a second terminal establishing an edge link connection with the first terminal.
The identification of the second terminal comprises: the identity of the first interface of the second terminal and/or the identity of the second interface.
The first interface may be an interface, such as a Uu port, where the second terminal communicates with the network device, and the identification of the first interface is an identification, such as an identification of the Uu port, of an interface, where the second terminal communicates with the network device.
The second interface may be an interface where the first terminal and the second terminal directly communicate, for example, a side link interface, that is, the second interface is an interface used by the second terminal on an edge link, and the identifier of the second interface may be, for example, a layer1ID (layer 1 identifier) or a layer 2ID (layer 2 identifier) of the edge link.
The existing paging message only carries the identification of the paging object, and does not carry the identification of other terminals, namely, the identification of the second terminal is not carried when the paging message is sent to the first terminal. In the application, the newly added field in the paging message carries the identification of the second terminal which establishes the side link connection with the first terminal.
Description of "instruction information for indicating whether the first terminal needs to establish a connection to a network":
the network side triggers the V2X service, i.e. the network side triggers the side link connection, and if triggered according to the existing paging mechanism, the terminal will first initiate RRC connection establishment with the Uu port of the network device (e.g. the base station), since the terminal is not aware that paging is performed for the V2X service. After the RRC of Uu port is established, the terminal knows that the ue is V2X service, and initiates the establishment of an sidelink connection. This results in unnecessary RRC connection establishment procedures for the Uu port, such as certain V2X traffic, and does not require the presence of RRC connection for the Uu port. Based on this, the paging message may include indication information for indicating whether the first terminal needs to establish a connection to the network, including but not limited to establishing an RRC connection with the network device for the Uu port.
The first terminal may determine whether to establish a connection to the network according to indication information for indicating whether the first terminal needs to establish a connection to the network. If the indication information indicates that a connection to the network needs to be established, the first terminal establishes the connection to the network, for example, initiates a random access procedure (Random Access Channel, RACH); if the indication information indicates that the connection to the network is not required to be established, the first terminal does not establish the connection to the network, for example, does not initiate RACH.
The network device may know whether the terminal is in the RRC connected state of the Uu port, and if two terminals that establish the side link connection are in the RRC connected state of the Uu port, the network device may not send a paging message to the terminal. The network device may further include, before sending the paging message to the first terminal: and determining whether the first terminal and the second terminal are in the RRC connection state of the Uu port, and if not, performing the subsequent step, namely sending the paging message to the first terminal.
In general, when a network device controls establishment of an sidelink connection, the network device needs to send configuration information for establishing the sidelink connection to a terminal, and in this case, uu port connection needs to be established between the terminal and the network device, so that the network device communicates with the terminal through the Uu port, and sends the configuration information for establishing the sidelink connection to the terminal.
When the terminal autonomously controls the establishment of the side link connection, the configuration information of the terminal for the establishment of the side link connection is generated by the terminal itself, and the terminal does not need to establish Uu port connection with the network equipment.
The network device may decide whether the first terminal needs to establish a connection to the network or not in the indication information for indicating whether the first terminal needs to establish a connection to the network according to whether the terminal is controlled to establish a side link connection.
The network device may directly indicate whether the first terminal establishes a connection to the network through the indication information for indicating whether the first terminal needs to establish a connection to the network, and the indication information may be a connection to the network establishment or a connection to the network establishment.
The network device may also indirectly indicate whether the first terminal establishes a connection to the network through the indication information for indicating whether the first terminal needs to establish a connection to the network, and the indication information for indicating whether the first terminal needs to establish a connection to the network includes: V2X traffic type.
The first terminal stores in advance which service type needs to establish a connection to the network, and which service type does not need to establish a connection to the network. When the first terminal determines whether to establish connection to the network according to the indication information for indicating whether the first terminal needs to establish connection to the network, the first terminal may determine whether to establish connection to the network according to whether to establish connection to the network corresponding to each service type stored in advance and the V2X service type sent by the network device.
When the first terminal and the second terminal establish the side link connection, the first terminal and the second terminal both need to acquire configuration information of the side link connection establishment. The first terminal can then establish an edge link connection with the second terminal according to the configuration information of the edge link connection establishment.
When the terminal autonomously controls the establishment of the side link connection, the configuration information may be generated by the terminal itself, and then the first terminal generates the configuration information of the side link connection establishment, and the first terminal transmits the generated configuration information of the side link connection establishment to the second terminal.
When the network equipment controls the establishment of the side link connection, the configuration information is sent to the first terminal by the network equipment, the network equipment sends the configuration information of the side link connection establishment to the first terminal, and the first terminal receives the configuration information of the side link connection establishment sent by the network equipment.
The network device may send the configuration information of the establishment of the side link connection to the first terminal and the second terminal, respectively, the network device may also send the configuration information of the establishment of the side link connection to the first terminal, which is the initiator of the establishment of the side link connection, and send the indication information of the establishment of the side link connection to the second terminal to the first terminal, where the indication information of the establishment of the side link connection to the second terminal may include an identifier of the second terminal, the identifier of the second terminal may include an identifier of the first interface, for example, a Uu port, and may also include an identifier of the second interface, for example, a side link interface, and the identifier of the second interface may be understood as an identifier of the second terminal on the side link.
The first terminal receives indication information sent by the network device and used for indicating the first terminal to send the configuration information of the establishment of the side link connection to the second terminal, and sends the configuration information of the establishment of the side link connection to the second terminal.
In order to realize that when the network equipment sends the paging message to the terminal, the network equipment carries the identifier of the first interface of the terminal and the identifier of the second interface, the existing paging mechanism is not changed, only a field for bearing the identifier of the terminal on the side link is added in the paging message, or a new paging mechanism is defined, and the paging of the terminal by the first interface can be realized based on the identifier of the second interface of the terminal. The network device may calculate a time slot for paging the terminal based on the identification of the second interface and carry the identification of the second interface of the terminal in the paging message.
When the network device sends the configuration information of the side link connection establishment to the first terminal and/or the second terminal, the network device may be sent through a paging message or a dedicated signaling, and when the first terminal receives the configuration information of the side link connection establishment sent by the network device, the first terminal may receive the paging message or the dedicated signaling sent by the network device, where the paging message or the dedicated signaling includes the configuration information of the side link connection establishment. In general, the dedicated signaling must be such that the network device can send the configuration information through the dedicated signaling after the terminal is connected to the network, i.e. the first terminal establishes a Uu port connection with the network device.
As shown in fig. 3A, the network device sends a paging message (paging) to the first terminal and the second terminal, where the paging message includes indication information about whether a connection to the network needs to be established, that is, whether RRC connection of the Uu port needs to be triggered, and if the judging interface of the terminal is required, RACH may be sent to the network device. If the judging interface of the terminal is not needed, the terminal does not need to initiate RACH, and the two terminals can establish the side link connection according to the configuration information of the side link connection establishment.
As shown in fig. 3B, the network device sends configuration information of the establishment of the side link connection to the first terminal through dedicated signaling, and instructs the first terminal to send the configuration information of the establishment of the side link connection to the second terminal.
As shown in fig. 3C, the network device sends configuration information for the establishment of the side link connection to the first terminal and the second terminal, respectively, through dedicated signaling.
The dedicated signaling may be an RRC reconfiguration message, an RRC reestablishment message, a terminal request message (UE InformationRequest), etc., and may be encrypted, and when the dedicated signaling is encrypted, the dedicated signaling may further include key information of the sidelink.
In the present application, if the manner of establishing the side link connection acquired by the first terminal is a manner of autonomously controlling the establishment of the side link connection by the terminal, the first terminal needs to establish the side link connection with the second terminal by adopting the manner of autonomously controlling the establishment of the side link connection by the terminal. The first terminal may send a request message to establish the side link connection and receive a response message to establish the side link connection.
The first terminal may first acquire a first period for sending a request message for establishing the sidelink connection, where the first terminal sends the request message according to the first period, and the first period may be sent by the network device to the first terminal, or may be preconfigured by the first terminal according to a protocol, or may be prestored by the first terminal when leaving the factory.
The request message for establishing the side link connection may be a higher layer RRC message or a layer 2 message, and the request message for establishing the side link connection includes a destination identifier (Destination Identifier, DST ID), which may be determined by the terminal itself or issued by the network, and which is used to indicate the request object, which may be understood as the identifier of the second terminal in the present application.
Optionally, the first period indicates that the resource for sending the request message is periodic, and when the network device sends or is preconfigured to the first terminal, the first period for sending the request message for establishing the side link connection may be the resource for sending the request message for establishing the side link connection to the first terminal, which may be a dedicated resource pool or a non-dedicated resource pool. The resource that sends the request message to establish the side link connection may be, for example, a time-frequency resource.
If the request message is a special resource pool, the definition of the resource pool comprises the sending period and the sending duration of the request message; if the request message is a non-dedicated resource pool, a period and a transmission duration can be defined for the transmission of the request message, if no corresponding resource pool is available according to the period and the duration, then the next one or more available resource pools are forward, a maximum forward number or time is defined, if the maximum forward number or time is exceeded, the transmission is continued in the next period, and at this time, the first terminal equipment needs to acquire corresponding duration information besides the period;
the request message may carry a physical layer identity of the first terminal, such as a SL-RNTI, which may be carried in the SCI, such as in the scrambled SCI or in the SCI.
The request message may carry configuration information for establishing the side link connection, and may also carry an identifier of an opposite end (second terminal) desiring to establish the side link connection.
The request message may be sent by broadcast without the need for a dedicated side link bearer (sidelink radio bearer, SL-RB). The broadcasted transmission configuration may be considered as Uu-like signaling bearer 0 (signalling radio bearer, SRB 0) and the request message for the establishment of the side link connection may be considered as not requiring a default configuration like SRB 0.
The first terminal sends a request message for establishing the side link connection to the second terminal, and the second terminal can send a response message for establishing the side link connection to the first terminal, so that the first terminal receives the response message for establishing the side link connection, and in order to achieve the accuracy of communication between the two terminals, the first terminal also needs to acquire a second period for receiving the response message for establishing the side link connection, wherein the second period can be sent to the first terminal by a network device, or can be preconfigured by the first terminal according to a protocol specification, or can be prestored by the first terminal when leaving a factory.
Optionally, the second period indicates that the resources for receiving the response message are periodic, and when the network device sends or is preconfigured to the first terminal, the second period for receiving the response message for establishing the side link connection may be the resources for receiving the response message for establishing the side link connection, which may be a dedicated resource pool or a non-dedicated resource pool, allocated to the first terminal. The resource that receives the response message to establish the side link connection may be, for example, a time-frequency resource. The period of receiving the response message in the first terminal is generally identical to the period of transmitting the response message in the second terminal.
If the resource pool is a special resource pool, the definition of the resource pool comprises the sending period and the sending duration of the response message; if the resource pool is non-dedicated, a period and a transmission duration can be defined for the transmission of the response message, if no corresponding resource pool is available as calculated according to the period and duration, then the next available resource pool or pools are followed, and a maximum number of the following delays or time is defined, and if the number of the following delays or time delays is exceeded, the transmission is continued to be attempted in the next period. At this time, the first terminal device needs to acquire corresponding duration information besides the acquisition period;
the response message may carry configuration information of the establishment of the side link connection, or may carry only confirmation of the request for the establishment of the side link connection, such as approval or rejection, if rejection, carrying rejection reason; carrying configuration information of the establishment of the side link connection if agreeing;
the response message may be transmitted by broadcasting without requiring a dedicated SL-RB. The broadcasted transmission configuration may be considered as Uu-like SRB0, and the response message to the establishment of the side link connection may be considered as not requiring a default configuration like SRB 0.
The response message may also carry an identification of the peer (first terminal) that wishes to establish the side link connection. If the physical layer identifier of the second terminal sending the response message is carried in the response message established by the side link connection, the second terminal can send the response message established by the side link connection in a unicast mode, for example, scramble a SCI with its own SL-RNTI, schedule a resource and send the response message established by the side link connection exclusively, and the response message is in a plaintext or ciphertext mode and can be determined by combining the security establishment flow of the side link connection.
When the first terminal decides to establish the side link connection, the first terminal may actively initiate a request for establishing the side link connection to the network device, informing the network device that the first terminal wants to establish the side link connection. For example, the first terminal may send a first message to the network device, where the first message includes: the indication information for indicating that the first message is triggered by the sidelink connection establishment requirement may be understood as a procedure that the first terminal triggers the RACH. The first message sent by the first terminal to the network device may be a random access preamble (preamble) message, or may be a message 3 in random access, and if the first terminal is in a connection state, the first message may also be dedicated signaling. The dedicated signaling may be an RRC connection setup request, side link UE information (Side link UE Information), terminal response message (UE Information Response), etc.
The idle state within existing dedicated signaling may be used to indicate the use for SL RRC connection establishment.
The first terminal may tell the network device the identifier of the opposite end of the current establishment of the side link connection, and optionally, the indication message for indicating that the requirement of the establishment of the side link connection triggers the first message includes: an identification of a second terminal establishing an edge link connection with the first terminal.
The identifier of the second terminal notified to the network device by the first terminal may be an identifier of a first interface of the second terminal, where communication between the terminal and the network device generally needs to be performed through a Uu port, where the first interface may be a Uu port, the identifier of the second terminal may also be an identifier of the second interface, where the second interface is an interface where the second terminal communicates with the first terminal, for example, a sidelink interface, and the identifier of the second interface may also be understood as an identifier of the second terminal on a side link, for example, a layer 2ID of the side link, where the network device also needs to determine an identifier of Uu of the terminal.
The Uu port identifier may be information such as TMSI or STMSI of the terminal, or CRNTI.
The corresponding relation between the identification of the terminal on the side link and the Uu port identification of the terminal is pre-stored in the terminal, and can be realized in the terminal, for example, the terminal can be used for transmitting the information among all protocol layers in the terminal equipment through cross-layer message transmission, for example, an access layer of SL transmits the information to a V2X layer through interlayer primitives, and the corresponding relation between the identification of the terminal on the side link and the Uu port identification of the terminal is pre-stored in the network equipment, and can be transmitted to the network equipment by the terminal or configured by high-layer signaling.
The network device may decide whether to agree to establish the side link connection between the first terminal and the second terminal, and the network device may send the establishment result to the first terminal, where the establishment result is typically either refusal or agreeing. The network device transmits a second message to the first terminal, the second message including indication information for indicating whether establishment of the side link connection is agreed. The second message may be a RAR message, or a message 4 in random access or an RRC setup message (RRC setup) or an RRC reconfiguration message (RRCreconfiguration).
In general, when the opposite terminal, i.e., the second terminal, is not within the coverage area of the mobile network, the network device determines that the establishment result is rejection, that is, the network device does not agree to establish the side link connection between the first terminal and the second terminal, and at this time, the indication information for indicating whether to agree to establish the side link connection may include information for rejecting the establishment.
If the network device determines that the establishment result is agreement, that is, the network device agrees that the first terminal and the second terminal establish the side link connection, the indication information for indicating whether to agree to establish the side link connection may include information about agreement to establish.
The first terminal may send a first message to the network device informing the network device that the first terminal wants to establish the side link connection. The first terminal sends the first message to the network device at a timing including, but not limited to, before the manner of acquiring the establishment of the side link connection or after the manner of acquiring the establishment of the side link connection, which are described in detail below for each case:
the first terminal may send the first message after having acquired the manner of establishing the side link connection, and in this case, the manner of acquiring the side link connection by the first terminal is generally a manner in which the network device controls establishment of the side link connection. Optionally, when the network device agrees to establish the side link connection between the first terminal and the second terminal, the second message includes configuration information for indicating whether to agree to establish the side link connection, where the configuration information indicates whether to establish the side link connection, and the network device informs the first terminal by sending the configuration information for establishing the side link connection to the first terminal, where the network device agrees to establish the side link connection between the first terminal and the second terminal.
Of course, the network device may send to the first terminal a configuration message agreeing to establish the side link connection, and send to the first terminal configuration information for the side link connection establishment, where the configuration information may be carried in the dedicated signaling described above or in the second message.
The first terminal may also be in a manner that the first terminal has not acquired the establishment of the side link connection when sending the first message, and the meaning that the first terminal informs the network device that the first terminal wants to establish the side link connection may be that the first terminal requests the network device to indicate the establishment of the side link connection for the first terminal, or optionally, when the network device establishes the side link connection with the second terminal, the second message includes indication information for indicating whether to agree to establish the side link connection or not may be indication information for indicating the establishment of the side link connection. Of course, the second message may include information indicating whether or not the establishment of the side link connection is explicitly granted, and also include instruction information indicating the manner in which the side link connection is established. The procedure for the first terminal to acquire the side link connection according to the indication information indicating the manner in which the side link connection is established has been described above.
If the network device instructs the first terminal to establish the side link connection with the second terminal in the manner of controlling the side link connection establishment by the network device, the network device may also send configuration information for the side link connection establishment to the first terminal, where the configuration information may be carried in the dedicated signaling described above or carried in the second message. Of course, the network device may also send the configuration information to the second terminal, or the configuration information may be sent to the second terminal through the first terminal, where a specific procedure is described above.
As shown in fig. 3D, the first terminal may initiate a RACH procedure to the network device, which indicates that the RACH procedure is for establishing an edge link connection, and if the network device agrees that the first terminal establishes an edge link connection with the second terminal, the network device may send configuration information for establishing an edge link connection to the first terminal, may also send configuration information for establishing an edge link connection to the second terminal, or instruct the first terminal to send configuration information for establishing an edge link connection to the second terminal.
As shown in fig. 3E, the first terminal may send RRC-dedicated signaling to the network device, indicating that the establishment of the side link connection is requested, and if the network device agrees that the first terminal and the second terminal establish the side link connection, the network device may send configuration information for establishing the side link connection to the first terminal, may also send configuration information for establishing the side link connection to the second terminal, or indicate that the first terminal sends configuration information for establishing the side link connection to the second terminal.

For example, the spark bit in the IE may be used, and the specific procedure for indicating that the terminal device is to perform V2X communication, or to establish a V2X side link, in the using IE may be described below:
