The invention relates to the field of vision, and discloses a camera ad hoc network and a video transmission method in a local area network, which comprises a server, a switch and a camera, wherein the server is in communication connection with the camera through the switch, a service program and an application program are installed on the server, the service program is used for receiving a video stream sent by the camera, the application program is used for acquiring data of the video stream from the service program, when networking, the camera sends own physical address to the server, the server sends RARP packet to the camera to request to obtain IP of the camera after receiving the physical address of the camera, the server sends own IP to the camera after obtaining the IP of the camera, the camera opens a port for transmitting video stream after obtaining the IP of the server, and the video stream is sent to the server through the port, the whole networking process is simple, the topology is easy, and the method can be flexibly applied to various application scenes needing the upgrading of the visual ability.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of vision, in particular to a camera ad hoc network in a local area network and a video transmission method.
Background
Under the background of industrial 4.0, a large number of traditional industrial production scenes are urgently required to be intelligently upgraded and modified, but the cost for replacing production equipment is generally high, and the intelligent upgrading and modification based on the existing production equipment is a more economic and rapid upgrading scheme.
In some upgrading requirements that require binocular vision capabilities, such as visual applications like appearance inspection, product metering, flow statistics, etc., there is still a lack of a flexible and economical solution. For example, when security monitoring is performed in an old cell, not only a large number of cameras need to be deployed, but also network parameters need to be configured for each camera and tested when all the cameras are connected to a local area network, and thus the workload is large.

In view of the defects of the background art, the invention provides a camera ad hoc network and a video transmission method in a local area network, and aims to solve the technical problems that in some application scenes needing vision capability upgrading requirements, network parameters need to be manually configured for each camera and tested, and then networking of the cameras can be completed, and the workload is large.

s1: after the camera is accessed into the local area network, sending a broadcast packet to a special PORT (PORT for maintaining monitoring registration) of the server, wherein the broadcast packet comprises a physical address of the camera;
s2: the server receives a broadcast packet sent by the camera to obtain a physical address of the camera, and sends an RARP packet to the camera according to the physical address to request to acquire the IP of the camera;
s3: the camera receives the RARP packet and sends an IP of the camera to the server;
s4: the server sends the server IP to the camera after receiving the IP of the camera;
s5: and after receiving the IP of the server, the camera opens a port for transmitting the video stream and sends the video stream to the server through the port.
Further, in step S1, the camera transmits the broadcast packet to the PORT dedicated to the keep-alive registration of the server through the UDP protocol.
Further, in step S5, the camera transmits the video stream to the server via the RTCP protocol.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that: in an application scene needing the vision ability upgrading, only a camera needs to be deployed on the site, then the camera is in communication connection with a server through a switch, the camera can be accessed into a local area network by itself and performs video transmission, the network parameters of each camera do not need to be configured manually, the workload is reduced, and the method and the device can be flexibly applied to various applications needing the vision ability upgrading.

The present invention will now be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. These drawings are simplified schematic views illustrating only the basic structure of the present invention in a schematic manner, and thus show only the constitution related to the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, a method for ad hoc networking of cameras and video transmission in a local area network includes a server, a switch, and a camera, where the server is in communication connection with the camera through the switch, the server is installed with a service program and an application program, the service program is used to receive a video stream sent by the camera, and the application program is used to obtain data of the video stream from the service program, and the method includes the following steps:
s1: after the camera is accessed into the local area network, sending a broadcast packet to a special PORT (PORT for maintaining monitoring registration) of the server, wherein the broadcast packet comprises a physical address of the camera;

s4: the server sends the server IP to the camera after receiving the IP of the camera;

In step S1, the camera sends a broadcast packet to the PORT dedicated to the listen-on registration of the server via the UDP protocol.
In step S5, the camera transmits the video stream to the server via the RTCP protocol.
The camera is a monocular camera, a binocular camera or a multi-view camera; when the camera is a monocular camera, the camera opens a port for transmitting the video stream in step S5; when the camera is a binocular camera, in step S5, two ports for transmitting video streams are opened; when the camera is a multi-view camera, the number of ports of the transmission video stream opened by the camera in step S5 is the same as the number of cameras.
In this embodiment, in a local area network, the camera, the switch, and the server may communicate through a network cable.
In summary, according to the camera ad hoc network and the video transmission method in the embodiment, after the camera is connected to the local area network, the network parameters do not need to be manually configured for each camera and tested, so that the workload is reduced, and the method can be flexibly applied to various application scenes needing vision capability upgrading.

A camera ad hoc network and video transmission method in a local area network comprises a server, a switch and a camera, wherein the server is in communication connection with the camera through the switch, and the method is characterized in that: the server is provided with a service program and an application program, the service program is used for receiving the video stream sent by the camera, and the application program is used for acquiring the data of the video stream from the service program, and the method comprises the following steps:
s1: after the camera is accessed to a local area network, a broadcast packet is sent to a special PORT (PORT for maintaining monitoring registration) of the server through a UDP (user datagram protocol), wherein the broadcast packet comprises a physical address of the camera;
s2: the server receives a broadcast packet sent by the camera and then obtains a physical address of the camera, and the server sends an RARP packet to the camera according to the physical address to request to acquire the IP of the camera;
s3: the camera sends own IP to the server after receiving the RARP packet;
s4: the server sends the server IP to the camera after receiving the IP of the camera;
s5: and after receiving the IP of the server, the camera opens a port for transmitting the video stream and sends the video stream to the server through the port.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the method comprises the following steps: in step S5, the camera sends a video stream to the server via the RTCP protocol.
