Referring to fig. 1 and fig. 2, the mobile terminal provided in the embodiment of the present application may include a terminal body 1, a fingerprint identification module 11 disposed on the terminal body 1, and an extended function module 2 mounted on the fingerprint identification module 11, where the terminal body 1 may include a first communication module 12 disposed on the fingerprint identification module 11, and the extended function module 2 is disposed on a second communication module 21; when the extended function module 2 is installed in the terminal body 1, the first communication module 12 is in communication connection with the second communication module 21, so that the extended function module 2 is controlled by the terminal body 1.
According to the mobile terminal provided by the embodiment of the application, partial functional modules in the mobile phone are separated and set to be the independent extended functional modules 2, and the extended functional modules 2 are installed on the fingerprint identification module 11. The mobile phone and the extended function module 2 are in communication connection with the second communication module 21 through the first communication module 12, so that the space inside the mobile phone can be saved, the performance of the extended function module 2 can be optimized, and the use experience of a customer can be improved.
With continued reference to fig. 1 and fig. 2, the fingerprint identification module 11 is disposed on the back of the mobile phone, a first communication area 15 is disposed on the periphery of the fingerprint identification module 11, and the first communication module 12 is disposed in the first communication area 15. In the embodiment, the first communication area 15 is a ring-shaped area, and the first PIN points should be arranged around the circumference of the inside of the first communication area 15 and at equal intervals. The second communication area 24 is also a ring-shaped area similar to the first communication area 15, and the second PIN points are also arranged around the circumferential direction inside the second communication area 24 and are also equally spaced. When the extended function module 2 is installed in the mobile phone, the first communication area 15 coincides with the second communication area 24, and the first PIN point and the second PIN point corresponding to the connection portion of the same function module are abutted. For example, the first PIN point of the power connection portion corresponding to the mobile phone is offset with the second PIN point of the power connection portion corresponding to the extended function module 2, and the first PIN point of the control connection portion corresponding to the mobile phone is offset with the second PIN point of the control connection portion corresponding to the extended function module 2. Through the arrangement, the mobile phone can be in communication connection with the extended function module 2, and the function extension of the external equipment on the mobile phone is realized. In other embodiments, the first communication area 15 and the second communication area 24 may also be square areas, fan-shaped areas, or areas with any other shapes, as long as the first PIN point and the second PIN point corresponding to the connection portion of the same functional module are ensured to be in contact with each other, which is not limited to this.
The first PIN point does not exceed the plane of the back of the phone and is slightly recessed into the phone, and the second PIN point slightly protrudes out of the plane of the extended function module 23. Through the design, the probability that two PIN points of the same connecting part are shifted due to external force during installation and use can be reduced.
In another embodiment, the signal mating portion may be a first metal contact disposed in the first communication region 15, and the first metal contact and the back of the mobile phone are located on the same plane. The signal connection portion is a second metal contact, the second metal contact is disposed in the second communication area 24, and the second metal contact and the extended function module 23 are attached to one side of the mobile phone and located on the same plane. When the extended function module 2 is installed on the mobile phone, the mobile phone can be in communication connection with the extended function module 2 only by the abutting fit of the first metal contact and the second metal contact corresponding to the connecting part of the same function module. In other embodiments, the signal mating portion and the signal connecting portion may also be a socket and a pin or any other mating, but are not limited thereto.
Referring to fig. 3, the mobile phone is provided with a locking structure 14, and the extended function module 2 is provided with a mounting structure 23 which is in fit connection with the locking structure 14. The locking structure 14 may be a magnetically attractive metal such as iron and nickel or a mixture thereof, and the mounting structure 23 may be a magnetically attractive device such as a magnet. In this embodiment, the magnetic metal is a ring structure, and is embedded in the back of the mobile phone, and is located in the same plane as the back of the mobile phone and disposed at the periphery of the first communication area 15. The magnetic attraction device is also of an annular structure, has the size and the shape consistent with those of the magnetic attraction metal, is embedded on the surface of the side, facing the mobile phone, of the extended function module 2, and is arranged at the periphery of the second communication area 24. When the extended function module 2 is installed in the mobile phone, the magnetic metal is attracted to the magnetic device. At this time, the first communication module 12 and the second communication module 21 are abutted, and since the absorption range is large enough, it can be ensured that the extended function module 2 is installed on the mobile phone and cannot easily fall off.
The magnetic metal can also be arranged in the mobile phone and is attached to the inner surface of the back of the mobile phone. The magnetic attraction device can also be arranged inside the extended function module 2 and is attached to the inner surface of one side of the extended function module 2 opposite to the mobile phone. The locking structure 14 is a screw hole disposed on the opposite surface of the handset and the extended function module 23, and the screw hole corresponds to the through hole and has two screw holes. The extended function module 2 can be installed on the mobile phone only through the matching of the screw and the screw hole, and the operation is simple and the stability is strong. In other embodiments, the number of the screws and the screw holes is not limited to two, and may be three, four or five, as long as the extended function module 2 can be stably mounted on the mobile phone.

The matching portion may be a groove formed in the lower edge of the fingerprint recognition module 11, and the connecting portion may be a protrusion formed on the opposite surface of the extended function module 23 and the terminal body 1. When the extended function module 2 is installed on the mobile phone, the position of the projection corresponds to that of the groove, and the projection is arranged in the groove and is abutted against the bottom of the groove. The extended function module 2 has a unique assembly posture on the mobile phone through the guiding assembly of the projection and the groove.
