Technical Field
The present invention relates to a terminal cover for covering a terminal portion of an opening/closing device connected to an electric wire, and an opening/closing device unit.
Background
Conventionally, a terminal cover for covering a terminal portion of an opening/closing device is known. The terminal of the opening/closing device is connected to a terminal provided at an end of the electric wire. The terminal cover covers a terminal portion to which an electric wire is connected. The terminal cover is formed with an opening through which the electric wire passes. There is a possibility that various thick and thin wires may be connected to the terminal portion of the opening/closing device. The opening of the terminal cover is formed in such a size that a gap is formed with the electric wire.
In order to prevent a tool, a finger, or the like from entering through a gap between the opening of the terminal cover and the electric wire and coming into contact with the terminal portion, patent document 1 discloses a structure in which a flexible soft resin-made protective cover piece is provided in the opening of the terminal cover.
Patent document 1: japanese laid-open patent publication No. 2012 and 79586
However, since the flexible soft resin protective cover sheet is pushed open by the electric wire and deformed, a gap may be left between the side of the electric wire and the opening, and the entry of a tool or the like may not be prevented. Further, the flexible soft resin cover sheet is easily deformed if a force is applied thereto, and therefore, the flexible soft resin cover sheet is pressed by a tool or the like entering through the gap and deformed, and thus, the tool or the like may not be completely prevented from entering.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, a terminal cover and an opening/closing device unit according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. The present invention is not limited to the present embodiment.
Embodiment 1.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of an opening/closing device unit according to embodiment 1 of the present invention. The opening/closing device unit 30 includes an opening/closing device 10 and a terminal cover 20.
Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the opening/closing device according to embodiment 1. Fig. 3 is a plan view of the opening/closing device according to embodiment 1. Fig. 4 is a sectional view taken along the line IV-IV shown in fig. 3. The opening/closing device 10 is provided with a terminal portion 11 for connecting an electric wire 50. The opening/closing device 10 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape. In a plan view shown in fig. 3, a plurality of terminal portions 11 are provided in a row on one side of the opening/closing device 10 and on the other side opposite thereto.
The terminal portion 11 is provided with a terminal portion mounting surface 11c for mounting the terminal mounting portion 11 a. The inter-electrode partition walls 11b are formed between the terminal portions 11. The wire 50 is connected to the terminal mounting portion 11a by using the screw 31. More specifically, the terminal 50a attached to the tip of the electric wire 50 is fixed to the terminal attachment portion 11a using the screw 31. The terminal portion installation surface 11c is a surface parallel to the direction in which the electric wire 50 extends, that is, the direction indicated by the arrow X.
An opening/closing operation portion 12 is provided on the main surface 10a of the opening/closing device 10. By operating the opening/closing operation portion 12, the electric wire 50 connected to the terminal portion 11 on one side of the opening/closing device 10 can be electrically connected to or disconnected from the electric wire 50 connected to the other side. In the opening/closing device 10, when an overcurrent flows between the electric wire 50 connected to the terminal portion 11 on one side of the opening/closing device 10 and the electric wire 50 connected to the other side, the electric connection is also cut off.
Fig. 5 is a perspective view showing the opening/closing device unit according to embodiment 1, and is a view showing a state in which one of the terminal covers is removed. Fig. 6 is a perspective view of the terminal cover according to embodiment 1. The terminal cover 20 has a cover main body 21 and a shutter portion 22. The terminal cover 20 covers the terminal portion 11 so that the terminal 50a and the terminal mounting portion 11a are not exposed to the outside in a state where the electric wire 50 is connected to the terminal mounting portion 11 a.
Fig. 7 is a perspective view of the cover main body in embodiment 1. Fig. 8 is a perspective view of the cover main body shown in fig. 7, as viewed from the back side. The cover main body 21 is formed of a hard resin. The hard resin is, for example, an ABS resin (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene resin).
The cover main body 21 is integrally formed with opposing walls 21a, an outer side wall 21b, and different inter-electrode partition walls 21 c. The opposing wall 21a is parallel to the terminal mounting surface 11c of the opening/closing device 10. The outer side wall 21b and the inter-electrode partition wall 21c are side walls extending from the opposing wall 21a toward the terminal portion installation surface 11c and covering both sides of the electric wire 50.
Fig. 9 is an enlarged view of a portion a shown in fig. 8. The engagement portions 21f are formed on the outer side wall 21b and the different inter-electrode partition walls 21 c. The engaging portion 21f is a recess formed in a surface of the outer wall 21b facing the different inter-electrode partition walls 21c or a surface of the different inter-electrode partition walls 21c facing each other. The projection formed on the shutter portion 22 is fitted into the engagement portion 21 f. The engaging portion 21f may be formed as a projection and fitted into a recess formed in the shutter portion 22. A groove 21e is formed in the outer side wall 21b and the inter-electrode partition wall 21c, and the groove 21e is used for releasing a pin used for molding the engaging portion 21f when the cover body 21 is molded after molding.
The cover main body 21 is provided with an end surface 21g, and the end surface 21g closes a region surrounded by the opposing wall 21a, the outer wall 21b, and the inter-electrode partition walls 21c, or a region surrounded by the opposing wall 21a and the pair of inter-electrode partition walls 21 c.
An outlet 21d serving as an opening is formed in the end face 21 g. The electric wire 50 connected to the terminal mounting portion 11a passes through the outlet 21 d. The outlet 21d is a recess recessed toward the opposing wall 21a from the 1 side 21h on the opposite side to the opposing wall 21a side in the end face 21 g. According to this shape of the outlet 21d, if the terminal cover 20 is attached to the opening/closing device 10 from the 1-side 21h side, the cover main body 21 and the electric wire 50 can be prevented from interfering with each other.
Fig. 10 is a front view of the baffle portion in embodiment 1. Fig. 11 is a perspective view of the baffle unit in embodiment 1. The baffle portion 22 is formed of a hard resin. The hard resin is, for example, ABS resin.
The baffle portion 22 has a front surface 22a for preventing tools, fingers, and the like from entering the terminal portion 11. A cutout 22b is provided in an opposite side 22d of the front surface 22a, which is the side opposite to the electric wire 50, and the cutout 22b is formed so as to be recessed in a direction away from the electric wire 50. The slits 22b have a shape in which the interval becomes narrower as the distance from the electric wire 50 increases. The baffle portion 22 is formed with a projection 22c inserted into the engagement portion 21f of the cover main body 21.
Fig. 12 is a front view of the terminal cover according to embodiment 1. Fig. 13 is a cross-sectional view taken along line XIII-XIII shown in fig. 12. By inserting the projection 22c of the flap 22 into the engagement portion 21f of the cover main body 21, the flap 22 is supported rotatably about the rotation shaft 32 as shown in fig. 12 and 13. The rotation shaft 32 is perpendicular to the direction in which the electric wire 50 passing through the outlet 21d extends and is parallel to the opposing wall 21 a.
According to the switchgear unit 30 described above, if the terminal cover 20 is attached so as to cover the terminal portion 11 of the switchgear 10, the shutter portion 22 rotates according to the thickness of the electric wire 50, and the gap between the outlet 21d and the electric wire 50 is closed. In particular, the gap on the side of the wall 21a facing the wire 50 is closed. The notch 22b is formed in the shutter portion 22, thereby closing the gap on the outer wall 21b side and the gap on the inter-electrode partition wall 21c side with respect to the electric wire 50. The flap 22 rotates in a direction contacting the electric wire 50 by its own weight. As described above, since the gap formed between the outlet 21d and the electric wire 50 is substantially closed, it is possible to prevent the tool or the like from entering the terminal mounting portion 11 a. Further, since the shutter 22 rotates to close the gap according to the thickness of the electric wire 50 by simply attaching the terminal cover 20 to the opening/closing device 10, the workability of the operation of covering the terminal portion 11 to close the gap can be improved.
Further, since the shutter portion 22 is formed of a hard resin, it is not easily deformed even when pressed by a tool or the like, and thus it is possible to more reliably prevent the tool or the like from entering the terminal attachment portion 11 a.
Although the present invention has been described in terms of what is presently considered to be the most practical and preferred embodiment, the opening/closing device 10 is merely an example and is not limited thereto. Any device may be used as long as it has a terminal for wiring, such as a wattmeter measuring instrument or a wiring breaker.
The configuration described in the above embodiment is an example of the content of the present invention, and may be combined with other known techniques, and a part of the configuration may be omitted or modified without departing from the scope of the present invention.
