Description

Side link transmission power calculation method and communication device
Technical Field
The present application relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method for calculating side link transmit power and a communications apparatus.
Background
Currently, a New Radio (NR) terminal in a vehicle networking (V2X) may operate in-coverage (IC) or out-coverage (out-coverage). The terminal devices operating in the coverage area may also have different resource allocation manners in the sidelink (sidelink), and may be in mode1 (mode 1): the resource dynamically allocated by the network side device may also be mode2 (mode 2): and sensing available resources based on a resource pool (resource pool) configured or pre-configured by the network side equipment. Here, sidelink refers to direct (D2D) communication or a direct link between two devices in a V2X scenario. The in-coverage or out-of-coverage refers to the in-coverage or out-of-coverage of the mobile communication network. Of course, other networks, such as a wlan network, may be in or out of the coverage area, and the invention is not limited thereto.
When a V2X terminal performs sidelink communication, as shown in fig. 1, in a sidelink communication diagram between UE1 and UE2, the communication supports open-loop power control (power control not based on feedback), and the open-loop power control may be based on a path loss (path loss) from the terminal device to a network side device, or may be based on a path loss from the terminal device to a device at the opposite end of communication. As shown in fig. 1, it is assumed that the sending terminal is a User Equipment (UE) 1 and the receiving terminal is a UE2, and when the UE1 calculates the transmission power of data to be transmitted to the UE2, the path loss used by the UE1 may be the path loss1 from the UE1 to a network side device, or may be the path loss2 from the UE1 to a communication peer device (i.e., the UE 2). The path loss used may be a compensation for the path loss that needs to be considered when calculating the transmit power.
Then, when the terminal device calculates the transmission power, it is a problem to be solved whether the terminal device uses the path loss from the terminal device to the network side device or the path loss from the terminal device to the communication peer device.
In Long Term Evolution (LTE) V2X, only broadcast is available, and there is no specific communication object, so there is no concept of path loss from the terminal device to the communication peer device, and the transmit power calculation is determined based on the path loss from the terminal device to the network side device.
Disclosure of Invention
The application provides a side link transmission power calculation method and a communication device, which are used for accurately and flexibly determining parameters used for calculating side link transmission power.
In a first aspect, a method for calculating edge link transmit power is provided, including: acquiring first indication information, wherein the first indication information is used for indicating parameters used for calculating the side link transmitting power; acquiring parameters used for calculating the side link transmitting power according to the first indication information; and calculating the transmitting power of the side link according to the acquired parameters used for calculating the transmitting power of the side link.
In the aspect, according to the indication information, the parameters used for calculating the side link transmitting power can be accurately and flexibly determined, and the communication quality is improved.
In one implementation, the parameters used to calculate the sidelink transmit power include one or more of the following information: the method comprises the steps that first path loss is the path loss between terminal equipment and network side equipment; a second path loss, which is a path loss between the terminal device and the communication opposite terminal device; and the maximum transmitting power is the maximum transmitting power which can be supported by the terminal equipment.
In this implementation, the first indication information may directly indicate a parameter used for calculating the side link transmission power, such as directly indicating to use the first path loss, or directly indicating to use the second path loss, or directly indicating to use the maximum transmission power.
In this implementation, the terminal device may select, according to the indication information, to calculate the transmit power of the side link based on the first path loss or the second path loss, or may directly transmit with the maximum transmit power.
In another implementation, the terminal device transitions from a first state to a second state, the first state uses a first parameter, the second state uses a second parameter, and the first indication information is time T; the obtaining the parameter used for calculating the side link transmitting power according to the first indication information includes: continuously using the first parameter within the time T range after the terminal equipment is changed from the first state to the second state; wherein the first state comprises one or more of: coverage status, transmission type, link type. For example, the terminal device is changed from the first state to the second state, which means that the coverage state is changed, for example, the first state is in the coverage range, the second state is out of the coverage range, and the first state is changed to the second state, which means that the terminal device moves from the coverage range to the outside of the coverage range, or the first state is out of the coverage range, the second state is in the coverage range, and the first state is changed to the second state, which means that the terminal device moves from the outside of the coverage range to the inside of the coverage range; further, for example, the terminal device changes from the first state to the second state, which indicates that the transmission type is changed, for example, the first state is that the terminal device performs unicast communication, the second state is that the terminal device performs broadcast communication, the first state changes to the second state indicates that the terminal device changes from performing unicast communication to performing broadcast communication, or the first state indicates that the terminal device performs broadcast communication, the second state indicates that the terminal device performs unicast communication, and the first state changes to the second state indicates that the terminal device changes from performing broadcast communication to performing unicast communication. The change in the transmission type here may also include a change from unicast to multicast, or a change from multicast to unicast, or a change from multicast to broadcast, or a change from broadcast to multicast; for example, the transition of the terminal device from the first state to the second state is that the link type is changed, for example, the first state is that the terminal device performs UL communication (mobile communication network uplink communication), the second state is that the terminal device performs SL communication (sidelink communication), the transition of the first state to the second state is that the terminal device transitions from performing UL communication to performing SL communication, or the first state is that the terminal device performs SL broadcast communication, the second state is that the terminal device performs UL communication, and the transition of the first state to the second state is that the terminal device transitions from performing SL communication to performing UL communication. Here, the link type change may also include a change from LTE V2X SL to NR V2X SL, or a change from NR V2X SL to LTE V2X SL, or the like.
In a time T range after the terminal device is converted from the first state to the second state, continuing to use the first parameter, specifically, for example, when the first state is converted to the second state, or after the first state is converted to the second state, starting a timer T, and before the timer T is overtime, calculating the first parameter used by the transmission power when the first state is continuously used to calculate the transmission power; the transmit power is calculated using the second parameter of the second state to calculate the transmit power when, or after, the timer T expires.
It should be noted that the first parameter used in the first state and the second parameter used in the second state may be the same or different, and the present invention is not limited and does not affect the implementation of the scheme of the present invention.
In the implementation, for the situation that the state of the terminal device changes temporarily or in a short time, if the state changes, the new path loss is immediately adopted to calculate the transmitting power of the side link, and the adjustment of the transmitting power has a certain influence on both the radio frequency and the baseband, because the baseband needs to configure corresponding parameters to the radio frequency for each power adjustment. After obtaining the parameters provided by the lace, the adjustment of the radio frequency requires a certain time. During the adjustment time of the radio frequency, the parameters, such as MCS, used for data transmission of the terminal device are not well determined, for example, the terminal device may select a more conservative MCS to ensure the communication quality, which may also have a certain influence on the communication rate. In the implementation, a time T is defined for delaying the change of the calculation mode of the transmission power, so that frequent changes of the transmission power caused by the change of the state of the terminal equipment can be avoided, and the influence of frequent changes of the power on the radio frequency and the baseband of the terminal equipment is reduced.

It should be noted that the terms "system" and "network" in the embodiments of the present application may be used interchangeably. The "plurality" means two or more, and in view of this, the "plurality" may also be understood as "at least two" in the embodiments of the present application. "and/or" describes the association relationship of the associated objects, meaning that there may be three relationships, e.g., a and/or B, which may mean: a exists alone, A and B exist simultaneously, and B exists alone.
Please refer to fig. 2, which is a schematic flowchart of a method for calculating side link transmit power according to an embodiment of the present application, wherein:
s201, the network side equipment generates first indication information.
The first indication information is used for indicating a parameter used for calculating the side link transmission power.
The parameters used to calculate the side link transmit power include one or more of the following information:
the method comprises the steps that first path loss is the path loss between terminal equipment and network side equipment;
a second path loss, which is a path loss between the terminal device and the communication opposite terminal device;
and the maximum transmitting power is the maximum transmitting power which can be supported by the terminal equipment.
That is, the terminal device may calculate the transmission power based on the first path loss or the second path loss (the path loss may be compensated for when calculating the transmission power based on the path loss or by using the path loss), or may directly transmit data with the maximum transmission power as the transmission power, and the calculation method is flexible. However, if the used parameters are not appropriate, the calculated transmission power may be too large or too small, and if the calculated transmission power is too large, interference to the network side device or the communication peer device may be caused; if the transmission power is too small, the communication quality cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, appropriate parameters need to be selected.
S202, the network side equipment sends first indication information to the terminal equipment.
Correspondingly, the terminal equipment acquires the first indication information.
In this embodiment, the terminal device needs to explicitly obtain the parameters used for calculating the side link transmission power. First, the terminal device acquires first indication information. In this embodiment, the terminal device may receive the first indication information from the network side device, that is, the network side device may indicate which parameter the terminal device uses to calculate the transmission power, and optionally, the terminal device may further send auxiliary information to the network side device for the network side device to refer to, so as to make the above indication. In another embodiment, the terminal device may also determine the first indication information according to its own information.
S203, the terminal equipment obtains the parameters used for calculating the side link transmitting power according to the first indication information.
The first indication information indicates a parameter used for calculating the side link transmission power, and the terminal device may accurately determine the parameter according to the first indication information, that is, determine whether to calculate the transmission power based on the first path loss or the second path loss, or directly transmit data with the maximum transmission power as the transmission power.
And S204, the terminal equipment calculates the transmitting power of the side link according to the acquired parameters used for calculating the transmitting power of the side link.
If the terminal equipment determines to calculate the transmitting power based on the first path loss or the second path loss, the first path loss or the second path loss needs to be considered for compensation when calculating the transmitting power; and if the determined parameter is the maximum transmission power, the terminal equipment transmits data by taking the maximum transmission power as the transmission power.
It is understood that the terminal device may be a transmitting terminal or a receiving terminal of the side link, and any terminal that may perform side link data transmission may calculate the transmission power according to the above scheme.
According to the method for calculating the side link transmitting power, the parameters used for calculating the side link transmitting power can be accurately and flexibly determined according to the indication information, and the communication quality is improved.
If the coverage state of the terminal device performing sidelink communication changes, for example, the terminal device enters the coverage range from outside the coverage range, or enters the coverage range from inside the coverage range from outside the coverage range, the terminal device needs to determine what path loss is used for the transmission power calculation. A simpler and more intuitive solution is: terminal equipment continues to use a path loss. Such as: and continuously using the path loss to the network side equipment or continuously using the path loss to the communication opposite terminal equipment. The problem with this solution is that the power calculation cannot reflect the actual needs, power may be wasted or not enough, and interference may be caused to the uplink reception of the network side device or the reception of the correspondent device. Another simpler solution is: and the terminal equipment immediately uses the path loss to the equipment at the opposite communication end for power calculation when judging that the terminal equipment enters the coverage range, and immediately uses the path loss to the equipment at the network side for power calculation when judging that the terminal equipment enters the coverage range. The disadvantage of this solution is that for a terminal device with temporary or short-term coverage change, such as a terminal device at the edge of coverage, or a terminal device entering the coverage hole for a short time, the power is adjusted in a wide range for a short time (if the path loss to the network side device is greatly different from the path loss to the communication peer device). The power adjustment of the terminal equipment has certain influence on radio frequency and baseband, and the baseband needs to configure corresponding parameters to the radio frequency for each power adjustment; after obtaining the parameters provided by the baseband, the adjustment of the radio frequency requires a certain time. During the radio frequency adjustment time, parameters used for data transmission by the terminal device, such as Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS), are also not well determined, for example, the terminal device may select a more conservative MCS to ensure communication quality, which may also have a certain influence on the communication rate.
Please refer to fig. 3, which is a flowchart illustrating another method for calculating a transmit power of an edge link according to an embodiment of the present application, wherein:
s301, the terminal device reports the related capability to the network side device.
The related capability may be that the terminal device has the capability of switching the transmission power calculation mode according to the state transition. Optionally, the capability may define the length of time required for the UE to make a state change. For example, a UE with low capability needs a long time to perform state transition; the UE with high capability needs a short time to perform the state transition. This capability may be related to the length of the timer in subsequent steps. For example, for a UE with low capability, the timer T is longer; and in the UE with high capability, the timer T is shorter. The terminal device reports the capability to the network side device, so that the network side device can send switching indication information to the terminal device according to the capability.
This step is optional and is shown in dashed lines.
S302, the network side equipment generates first indication information.
The first indication information is used for indicating a parameter used for calculating the side link transmission power. In this embodiment, the first indication information includes a time T. The time T is a period of time after the state of the terminal device changes. In this embodiment, the terminal device may be configured to use the first parameter in the first state and use the second parameter in the second state. The first parameter and the second parameter may be the same or different. Optionally, the first indication information is used to indicate that the first parameter continues to be used within a time T range after the terminal device transitions from the first state to the second state.
S303, the network side equipment sends the first indication information to the terminal equipment. Wherein the first indication information includes a time T.
Correspondingly, the terminal equipment receives the first indication information.
The time T may be configured by the network side device. Specifically, the network side device may transmit the first indication information through Downlink Control Information (DCI) or Radio Resource Control (RRC) signaling.
In addition, the time T may also be preconfigured, that is, the time T may be pre-burned into the terminal device when the terminal device leaves a factory; or when the terminal device establishes initial communication with the network side device, the network side device is configured to the terminal device.
S304, the terminal equipment judges that the state of the terminal equipment is changed from the first state to the second state.
The terminal equipment judges whether the state of the terminal equipment changes. The status state includes one or more of: coverage status, transmission type, link type. The coverage status includes in-coverage and out-of-coverage. The transmission types include unicast, multicast, and broadcast. The link types include unicast links, multicast links, and broadcast links.
Such as a change between broadcast and unicast communication modes. Since the broadcast reception object is uncertain, it is inconvenient to determine the transmission power according to the specific reception object, but the unicast communication object is determined, and the transmission power can be determined according to the actual path loss to the unicast communication object. Therefore, the unicast to broadcast conversion, or the broadcast to unicast conversion, may also bring about a change in the manner in which the transmission power is calculated.
S305, continuously using the first parameter in the time T range after the terminal equipment is changed from the first state to the second state.
In a specific implementation, the embodiment of the present application defines a timer T, which is used for changing the calculation mode of the transmission power in a delayed manner. Here, the change in the transmission power calculation method means that a formula for calculating the transmission power or a parameter used is changed, or the like. The timer is started when the coverage state of the terminal equipment is changed or after the coverage state of the terminal equipment is changed.
Within the range of the timer or before the timer is overtime, the terminal equipment calculates the transmitting power by using a first parameter, namely the terminal equipment continues to cause the original path loss when determining the transmitting power; and when the terminal equipment is out of the range of the timer, or the timer is overtime, or after the timer is overtime, the terminal equipment calculates the transmission power by using a second parameter, namely the terminal equipment changes the used path loss when determining the transmission power.
For example, when the terminal device is in the coverage area, the terminal device calculates the transmission power using the path loss to the network side device; when the terminal equipment is changed to be out of the coverage range, starting the timer, and before the timer is overtime, the terminal equipment continuously uses the path loss to the network side equipment to calculate the transmitting power; and after the timer is overtime, the terminal equipment calculates the transmitting power by using the path loss of the communication opposite terminal equipment. Or conversely, when the terminal device is out of the coverage area, the path loss to the communication opposite-end device is used when the terminal device calculates the transmitting power; when the terminal equipment is converted into the coverage range, starting the timer, and before the timer is overtime, the terminal equipment continuously uses the path loss to the equipment at the opposite communication end to calculate the transmitting power; and after the timer is overtime, the terminal equipment calculates the transmitting power by using the path loss of the network side equipment.
It should be noted that the out-of-coverage may not be caused by the network-side device not covering too far away from the terminal device and the network-side device, or may be caused by building obstruction, such as high-rise obstruction, or in a basement, so that the signal quality between the terminal device and the network-side device is poor.
Alternatively, the timer may be configured by proprietary signaling, broadcast message configuration, or predefined. Or define a default value that is used without additional configuration.
The timing may be related to the capabilities of the terminal device or to the traffic carried out by the terminal device (e.g. a specific timer is defined for a certain bearer).
S306, the terminal device calculates the transmitting power of the side link according to the determined first parameter.
In this embodiment, the terminal device may accurately determine the manner of calculating the transmit power by timing of the timer when the state of the terminal device changes, so as to accurately calculate the transmit power of the side link, which is beneficial to saving power consumption of the terminal device; and the frequent change of the transmitting power caused by the change of the terminal state can be avoided, thereby reducing the influence of the frequent change of the transmitting power on the radio frequency and the baseband of the terminal equipment.
According to the method for calculating the side link transmitting power, parameters used for calculating the side link transmitting power can be accurately and flexibly determined according to the indication information, and the communication quality is improved; and the frequent change of the transmitting power brought by the change of the state of the terminal equipment can be avoided, thereby reducing the influence of the frequent change of the power on the radio frequency and the baseband of the terminal equipment.
Please refer to fig. 4, which is a flowchart illustrating a method for calculating side link transmit power according to an embodiment of the present application, wherein:
s401, the terminal equipment acquires first indication information.
In this embodiment, which parameter is used by the terminal device to calculate the transmission power is autonomously determined by the terminal device. Wherein the parameters include one or more of the following information: the method comprises the steps that first path loss is the path loss between terminal equipment and network side equipment; a second path loss, which is a path loss between the terminal device and the communication opposite terminal device; and the maximum transmitting power is the maximum transmitting power which can be supported by the terminal equipment.
First, the terminal device acquires first indication information. The first indication information comprises characteristic information, the characteristic information has a corresponding relation with a parameter used for calculating the side link transmission power, and the characteristic information comprises one or more of the following information: path loss threshold, path loss selection priority, service type, bearer type, session type, and logical channel information. Optionally, the corresponding relationship between the characteristic information and the parameter used for calculating the side link transmission power may also be included in the first indication information.
In particular, in one implementation, a path loss threshold is defined, which may be configured by the network side device, or pre-configured. For example, the threshold may be a path loss threshold from the terminal device to the correspondent device. The threshold comprises a maximum threshold and a minimum threshold, or comprises a maximum threshold, or comprises a minimum threshold. The corresponding relation between the threshold and the parameter is as follows: if the path loss from the terminal device to the device at the opposite communication end is greater than the maximum threshold, interference to the network side device may be caused if the transmission power is calculated by using the path loss to the device at the opposite communication end. Therefore, the terminal device calculates the transmission power using the path loss to the network.
For another example, the threshold may be a path loss from the terminal device to the network side device. The threshold includes a maximum threshold and a minimum threshold, or includes a maximum threshold, or includes a minimum threshold. The corresponding relation between the threshold and the parameter is as follows: if the path loss from the terminal device to the network side device is greater than the maximum threshold, interference to the communication peer device may be caused if the transmission power is calculated by using the path loss to the network side device. Therefore, the terminal device calculates the transmission power using the path loss to the communication counterpart device. If the path loss from the terminal device to the network side device is smaller than the minimum threshold value, which may cause the calculated transmission power to be insufficient, the terminal device calculates the path loss or uses the maximum transmission power to the device at the opposite end of communication.
In another implementation, a path loss selection priority is defined, for example, a path loss to a device at the opposite end of communication is preferentially selected for power calculation, or a path loss to a device on the network side is preferentially selected for power calculation. The priority may be network side device configured, or pre-configured. And if the first indication information indicates which priority, selecting the path loss corresponding to the priority to calculate the transmission power. Optionally, the priority may be related to services, for example, some services preferentially use path loss to the peer device, and some services preferentially use path loss to the network. Optionally, the priority may be associated with logical channels, for example, some logical channels preferentially use the path loss of the opposite device, and some logical channels preferentially use the path loss of the network.
In yet another implementation, the terminal device may determine based on which path loss to calculate the transmit power based on the type of sidelink traffic the terminal device is engaged in. For example, if the service of the sidelink is important, the terminal device may use the path loss to the device at the opposite end of communication, so as to ensure the communication quality of the sidelink; otherwise, the path loss to the network side equipment is used, and the interference of the network side equipment for receiving the uplink data is reduced. Or, if the sidelink service is important, the terminal device calculates the transmission power by using the larger one of the path loss to the communication opposite terminal device and the path loss to the network side device.
Optionally, the network side device may configure or pre-configure the relationship between the service type and the path loss selection. For example, when the path loss to the device at the opposite communication end is greater than the path loss to the device at the network side, which services may use the path loss to the device at the opposite communication end to perform power calculation, and which services need to use the path loss to the device at the network side to perform power calculation.
In another implementation, when a bearer is established, the method may indicate a path loss selection for calculating the transmission power of data corresponding to the bearer by the terminal device, or indicate whether the bearer allows performing power calculation using the path loss to the network side device when the path loss to the device at the opposite end of communication is greater than the path loss to the network side device; or to indicate the bearer to use the maximum transmit power or whether the maximum transmit power is allowed to be used.
It can be understood that the above-mentioned scheme for determining the transmission power calculation manner according to the service type or the bearer may also be applied to determine the transmission power calculation manner according to the logical channel information, the session type, and the like, and the determination process is similar.
S402, the terminal equipment obtains the parameters used for calculating the side link transmitting power according to the corresponding relation between the characteristic information and the parameters used for calculating the side link transmitting power.
The terminal device may determine the parameter used for calculating the transmission power according to the correspondence between one or more of the path loss threshold, the path loss selection priority, the service type, the bearer type, the session type, and the logical channel information and the parameter.
And S403, the terminal equipment calculates the transmitting power of the side link according to the acquired parameters used for calculating the transmitting power of the side link.
According to the method for calculating the side link transmitting power, the parameters used for calculating the side link transmitting power can be accurately and flexibly determined according to the indication information, and the communication quality is improved.
In other embodiments, the network side device may instruct the terminal device to perform the transmission power calculation, where the information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform the path loss based on which the transmission power calculation is performed, or the transmission power calculation method.
Optionally, before the network side device indicates the information, the terminal device may provide auxiliary information to the network side device, for example, a path loss reported by the terminal device to the network side device and a path loss reported by the terminal device to a communication peer device, for reference by the network side device.
Optionally, the network side device may instruct the terminal device to perform the information of the Transmission Power calculation through DCI, an extension field of Transmission Power Control (TPC) signaling, or other signaling.
The information for making the transmit power calculation includes one or more of: and calculating the transmission power by using the maximum transmission power or based on the path loss to the network side equipment or based on the path loss to the equipment of the opposite communication terminal.
Further, information of bearers, services, logical channels, sessions, time, etc. may also be indicated in the signaling to indicate which bearers, services, logical channels, sessions, time, or from what time, the transmission power calculation mechanism indicated by the signaling may be used.
