Abstract
The invention discloses a safety helmet detection device and a safety helmet detection method, which comprise a detection channel, wherein a warning system is arranged in the detection channel, a cooling area and a detection area are sequentially arranged in the detection channel, an air cooling assembly is arranged in the cooling area, a thermal camera and a light source camera are arranged in the detection area, the thermal camera and the light source camera simultaneously take pictures of the head area of a human body, and the shot pictures are used for judging whether a safety helmet is worn through an image detection module. In a preferred embodiment, the light source camera and the thermal camera are rotatably fixed at the exit of the detection channel by a fixing bracket and aligned with the inside of the detection channel, and a rotating rod for controlling the rotation angle of the camera is connected to the fixing bracket.
In a preferred embodiment, the image detection module comprises an information storage unit, a head detection unit, a safety helmet detection unit and a head safety helmet joint state determination unit, and the head safety helmet joint state determination unit transmits a detection signal to the warning system.

the two identical detection paths are: firstly, detecting a shot image according to a human head detection model by a human head detection unit to obtain a human head area; then, detecting the shot image through a safety helmet detection unit according to the safety helmet position detection model to obtain a safety helmet area; finally, obtaining the head safety helmet joint state according to the distance and the overlapping area of the head area and the safety helmet area through a head safety helmet joint state determining unit, and transmitting a detection signal to a main control unit;
if the detection results of the two paths are both wearing the safety helmet, the main control unit transmits a signal to the access control unit to control the door to be opened; if the detection results of the two detection paths are different, the main control unit transmits a signal to the alarm unit.

if the detection results of the two paths are both wearing the safety helmet, the main control unit transmits a signal to the access control unit to control the door to be opened; if the detection results of the two detection paths are different, the main control unit transmits a signal to the alarm unit.
