Detailed Description
An embodiment in which the present invention is applied to a wristwatch will be described below with reference to fig. 1 to 7. The description will be given with the display surface side of the timepiece being the upper side and the opposite side of the display surface being the lower side.
As shown in fig. 1, the wristwatch includes a wristwatch case 1. A band attachment portion 2 is provided on each of the 12 o 'clock side and the 6 o' clock side of the wristwatch case 1. Push-button switches 3 are provided on the 3 o 'clock side and the 4 o' clock side of the wristwatch case 1, respectively.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, a watch glass 4 is attached to the upper opening of the watch case 1 via an adhesive 4 a. A back cover 5 is attached to a lower portion of the wristwatch case 1 via a waterproof ring 5a by screws 5 b. A timepiece module 6 is provided inside the wristwatch case 1.
In the case of the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, a dial 7 is provided on the upper portion of the timepiece module 6, and an insulating member 8 is disposed on the outer peripheral portion of the dial 7. The timepiece module 6 includes various components (not shown) necessary for a timepiece function, such as a timepiece movement for moving the hands 9 above the dial 7, a display panel for electro-optically displaying information such as time, and a circuit unit for electrically driving the components.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the wristwatch case 1 includes a case body 10 and an outer case 11. The case main body 10 is made of a hard synthetic resin having high rigidity, for example, a polyamide resin mixed with glass fibers or carbon fibers. The pair of attachment projections 2a of the band attachment portion 2 are provided on the 12 th and 6 th sides of the case body 10.
As shown in fig. 2, a cutout 10a in which the outer periphery of the watch glass 4 is disposed is annularly provided at an upper portion of the inner peripheral surface of the case main body 10. Thus, when the timepiece glass 4 is disposed in the notch portion 10a of the case main body 10, the adhesive 4a is applied to the inner peripheral surface and the flat surface of the notch portion 10a, and the outer peripheral surface and the lower surface of the outer peripheral portion of the timepiece glass 4 are bonded to the notch portion 10a with the adhesive 4 a.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the outer case 11 is attached to the outer periphery of the upper portion of the case main body 10 so as to cover the case main body 10. That is, the exterior case 11 is made of a metal having high rigidity such as stainless steel. The exterior case 11 covers the upper surface of the case body 10 and the upper surface of the rim of the outer periphery of the watch glass 4, and also covers the upper side of the outer periphery of the case body 10.
In the case of the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 1 to 3 and 5, a pair of cover projections 2b that cover the band attachment portions 2 on the upper portions of the pair of attachment projections 2a of the case body 10 are provided on the 12 th and 6 th sides of the exterior case 11, respectively. Thus, the band attachment portion 2 is constituted by the pair of attachment protrusions 2a of the case body 10 and the pair of cover protrusions 2b of the exterior case 11 covering the upper portions of the pair of attachment protrusions 2 a.
As shown in fig. 2 and 3, in the wristwatch case 1, the case body 10 and the outer case 11 are fixed to each other by a coupling member 12. In this case, fitting grooves 13 in which a body portion 15 of the coupling member 12 described below is disposed are provided in the vertical direction on the outer peripheral surface of the case body 10 on the 12-point side and the 6-point side, that is, on the outer peripheral surface of the case body 10 between the pair of attachment projections 2a of the band attachment portion 2.
As shown in fig. 2 to 4, the attachment groove 13 is a substantially rectangular recessed portion, and is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the case main body 10 from a portion covered with the exterior case 11, that is, a portion located above the band attachment portion 2 to a portion not covered with the exterior case 11, that is, a portion located at a substantially middle portion in the vertical direction of the band attachment portion 2. That is, when the outer case 11 is placed over the outer periphery of the upper portion of the case body 10, the upper portion of the mounting groove 13 is covered by the lower portion of the outer case 11, and the lower portion of the mounting groove 13 is exposed to the outside without being covered by the outer case 11.
On the other hand, as shown in fig. 2, 3, and 5, fitting recesses 14 to be fitted with later-described hook portions 16 of the coupling member 12 are provided on the inner peripheral surfaces of the exterior case 11 on the 12 th and 6 th sides, that is, the inner peripheral surface of the exterior case 11 between the pair of cover protrusions 2b of the band attachment portion 2, respectively corresponding to the upper portion of the fitting groove 13, that is, the upper portion of the fitting groove 13 located above the band attachment portion 2 and covered by the exterior case 11.
That is, as shown in fig. 2, 3, and 5, the fitting recess 14 is formed in a substantially rectangular shape having a shorter length in the vertical direction than the mounting groove 13, and is provided corresponding to the upper side of the mounting groove 13 covered by the lower side of the outer case 11 when the outer case 11 is disposed on the outer periphery of the upper side of the case main body 10.
However, the coupling member 12 is formed of a hard synthetic resin having high rigidity, for example, a polyamide resin mixed with glass fibers or carbon fibers. As shown in fig. 2, 3, and 6, the coupling member 12 includes a body portion 15 disposed in the mounting groove 13 of the case body 10 in a state where the outer case 11 is disposed on the outer periphery of the upper portion of the case body 10 so as to cover the case body 10, and a hook portion 16 fitted in the fitting recess 14 of the outer case 11.
As shown in fig. 2, 3, and 6, the body portion 15 is formed in a plate shape having substantially the same size as the fitting groove 13 of the case main body 10, and is inserted into and disposed in the fitting groove 13 from the lower side of the fitting groove 13 exposed on the lower side of the case main body 11 in a state where the case main body 10 is disposed on the upper side outer periphery of the case main body 10 so as to cover the case main body 11.
As shown in fig. 2, 3, and 6, the hook portion 16 is bent from the upper end of the body portion 15 to the outside of the housing main body 10 at substantially right angles, and is inserted into and fitted into the fitting recess 14 of the housing case 11 in a state where the housing case 11 is disposed on the upper outer periphery of the housing main body 10 so as to cover the housing main body 10.
In this case, as shown in fig. 2, 3, and 6, a corner portion at a boundary portion of the main body portion 15 and the hook portion 16, that is, a portion of the coupling member 12 located on an upper side of the fitting groove 13 when the coupling member 12 is inserted into the fitting groove 13 is formed as an arc surface 12 a. Accordingly, the corner portion of the fitting groove 13 of the case main body 10 from the bottom toward the upper end portion of the exterior case 11 is formed as an arc surface 13a having the same radius of curvature as the arc surface 12a of the coupling member 12. The corner of the outer side of the case body 10 at the boundary between the body 15 and the hook 16 is formed as an inclined surface 12 b.
Thus, as shown in fig. 2 and 3, in the coupling member 12, the hook portion 16 is inserted into the fitting groove 13 from the lower side of the fitting groove 13 of the case main body 10 exposed to the outside and is accommodated in the fitting recess 14 of the outer case 11. The coupling member 12 is configured such that the tip portion of the hook portion 16 is inserted into a portion of the mounting groove 13 covered by the lower portion side of the exterior case 11, and the arc surface 12a provided at the boundary portion between the body portion 15 and the hook portion 16 slides along the arc surface 13a of the mounting groove 13, and the body portion 15 rotates toward the mounting groove 13 with the arc surface 12a as a fulcrum.
Therefore, as shown in fig. 2 and 3, in the coupling member 12, when the arc surface 12a provided at the boundary between the body 15 and the hook 16 slides along the arc surface 13a of the fitting groove 13 and the body 15 rotates about the arc surface 12a as a fulcrum, the body 15 is inserted into the fitting groove 13 while the hook 16 is gradually inserted into the fitting groove 14, and the hook 16 is fitted into the fitting groove 14.
Thus, as shown in fig. 2 and 3, the coupling member 12 fixes the exterior case 11 to the outer periphery of the case body 10 when the body 15 is inserted and disposed in the mounting groove 13 and the hook 16 is fitted into the fitting recess 14. In the present embodiment, the wristwatch case 1 is configured such that the exterior case 11 is disposed so as to cover the upper outer periphery of the case main body 10.
As shown in fig. 2, 3 and 7, the lower side of the body 15 of the coupling member 12, which is disposed in the mounting groove 13 of the case body 10 and exposed to the outside of the exterior case 11, is covered with the pressing member 17 and is press-fitted into the mounting groove 13. The pressing member 17 is made of a hard synthetic resin similar to the case body 10, for example, a hard synthetic resin having high rigidity obtained by mixing glass fibers or carbon fibers with a polyamide resin.
As shown in fig. 2, 3, and 7, the pressing member 17 is disposed from the lower end portion of the outer case 11 to the lower surface of the case main body 10, and is formed in a substantially plate shape having a size covering the lower portion side of the main body portion 15 of the coupling member 12 exposed to the outside of the outer case 11. In the present embodiment, the pressing member 17 is formed to be thick on the upper portion side and gradually thinner toward the lower portion side.
That is, as shown in fig. 2, 3, and 7, the upper pressing member 17 has an end portion formed to have a thickness disposed in contact with the lower end surface of the outer case 11, and a lower end portion formed to have a thickness disposed in contact with the upper surface of the back cover 5 attached to the lower surface of the case main body 10. Mounting portions 17a are provided on both side portions of the pressing member 17.
Thus, as shown in fig. 2, 3, and 7, the pressing member 17 is disposed on the outer peripheral surface of the housing main body 10 by fitting the mounting portion 17a into the mounting groove 18, and the mounting groove 18 is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the housing main body 10 on both sides of the mounting groove 13. In this case, an engaging projection 17b is provided on the upper portion of the mounting portion 17 a. The engaging projection 17b engages with the engaging hole 11a, and the engaging hole 11a is provided in the lower surface of the case main body 10 above the mounting portion 17 a.
That is, as shown in fig. 2, 3, and 7, in a state where the pressing member 17 shields the lower portion side of the body portion 15 of the coupling member 12, the engaging protrusions 17b provided on the upper portions of the mounting portions 17a on both sides are inserted into the engaging holes 11a of the housing body 10, and the mounting portions 17a on both sides are fitted into the mounting grooves 18 provided on the outer peripheral surface of the housing body 10. Thus, the pressing member 17 presses the body portion 15 of the coupling member 12 into the fitting groove 13 and is disposed on the outer peripheral surface of the housing main body 10.
As shown in fig. 2, 3, and 7, in a state where the pressing member 17 presses the body portion 15 of the coupling member 12 into the fitting groove 13 and is disposed on the outer peripheral surface of the housing main body 10, when the back cover 5 is attached to the lower surface of the housing main body 10, the lower end portion of the pressing member 17 is pressed upward by the back cover 5. Further, since the engaging projections 17b provided on the upper portions of the mounting portions 17a on both sides are inserted into the engaging holes 11a of the housing main body 10, the pressing member 17 is fixed in a state of pressing the housing main body 10. The pressing member 17 is thereby attached to the outer peripheral surface of the housing main body 10.
Next, a method for manufacturing the wristwatch case 1 will be described.
As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the method for manufacturing the wristwatch case 1 includes: a first step of disposing the outer case 11 so as to cover the upper outer periphery of the case main body 10; a second step of fixing the exterior case 11 to the case body 10 by the coupling member 12; and a third step of fixing the pressing member 17 by the back cover 5 in a state where the coupling member 12 exposed to the outside of the exterior case 11 is covered with the pressing member 17.
In the case of the present embodiment, in the first step, as shown in fig. 3, the exterior case 11 is disposed on the upper outer periphery of the case main body 10 so as to cover from above. At this time, the pair of cover protrusions 2b provided on the outer case 11 are made to correspond to the pair of attachment protrusions 2a provided on the case main body 10, and the outer case 11 is disposed on the upper outer periphery of the case main body 10.
In this state, in the fitting groove 13 provided between the pair of attachment projections 2a of the band attachment portion 2 on the 12 o 'clock side and the 6 o' clock side of the case body 10, the upper side of the fitting groove 13 is covered with the outer case 11, and the lower side of the fitting groove 13 is exposed to the outside below the outer case 11 without being covered with the outer case 11. At this time, the fitting recess 14 provided on the inner peripheral surface of the outer case 11 is made to correspond to the upper side of the fitting groove 13 of the case main body 10.
In the second step, as shown in fig. 3, the coupling member 12 is inserted into the fitting groove 13 from the lower side of the fitting groove 13 exposed to the outside of the lower side of the outer case 11, and the outer case 11 is fixed to the case body 10 by the coupling member 12 inserted into the fitting groove 13 and the fitting recess 14 of the outer case 11. At this time, first, the hook portion 16 of the coupling member 12 is inserted into the fitting groove 13 from the lower side of the fitting groove 13 exposed to the lower outside of the exterior case 11, and the tip end portion of the hook portion 16 is fitted into the fitting recess 14 provided on the inner circumferential surface of the exterior case 11.
In this state, the arc surface 12a provided at the boundary between the body 15 and the hook 16 slides along the arc surface 13a of the fitting groove 13 while abutting against the arc surface 13a of the fitting groove 13. In this way, the body 15 moves toward the fitting groove 13 while rotating about the arc surface 12a as a fulcrum, and the hook 16 is gradually inserted into the fitting recess 14 of the exterior case 11.
When the body 15 is inserted into and disposed in the mounting groove 13 while rotating about the arcuate surface 12a as a fulcrum, the hook 16 is fitted into the fitting recess 14. Thus, the exterior case 11 is reliably and stably fixed to the outer periphery of the case main body 10 by the coupling member 12. In this way, the outer case 11 can be fixed to the outer periphery of the case main body 10 only by inserting the coupling member 12 into the fitting groove 13 from the lower side of the fitting groove 13 exposed to the outside of the lower side of the outer case 11, and the assembling work is simple and easy.
In the third step, as shown in fig. 3, first, the pressing member 17 is disposed so as to cover the body portion 15 of the coupling member 12 exposed to the lower outside of the exterior case 11. At this time, the engaging projections 17b provided on the upper portions of the mounting portions 17a on both sides of the pressing member 17 are inserted into the engaging holes 11a of the housing main body 10, and the mounting portions 17a on both sides are fitted into the mounting grooves 18, the mounting grooves 18 being provided on the outer peripheral surfaces of the housing main body 10 on both sides of the mounting groove 13. Thereby, the body portion 15 of the coupling member 12 exposed to the lower outside of the outer case 11 is covered with the pressing member 17 and pressed into the fitting groove 13.
In this state, the waterproof ring 5a is disposed on the lower surface of the housing main body 10, and the back cover 5 is disposed, and then the back cover 5 is attached to the housing main body 10 with screws 5 b. At this time, the back cover 5 presses the lower end portion of the pressing member 17. Further, since the engaging projections 17b provided on the upper portions of the mounting portions 17a on both sides are inserted into the engaging holes 11a of the housing main body 10, the pressing member 17 is pressed by the housing main body 10. Thus, the pressing member 17 is attached to the outer peripheral surface of the housing main body 10 in a state of being sandwiched between the back cover 5 and the lower end portion of the housing main body 10. Thereby, the watch case 1 is assembled simply and easily.
In the case of the present embodiment, when the back cover 5 is attached to the lower surface of the case main body 10, the timepiece module 6 is incorporated in the case main body 10 in advance, and then the plurality of push switches 3 are attached to the outer periphery of the case main body 10. In this state, the back cover 5 is attached to the lower surface of the case main body 10, the wristwatch case 1 is assembled, and then the wristwatch is assembled.
Thus, according to the wristwatch case 1 of the wristwatch, since the case main body 10, the outer case 11, and the coupling member 12 are provided, the assembling workability can be improved, wherein the case main body 10 is provided with the mounting groove 13 in the vertical direction on the outer peripheral surface, the outer case 11 is disposed on the outer periphery of the upper portion of the case main body 10 in a state where the lower portion side of the mounting groove 13 is exposed, the fitting recess 14 is provided corresponding to the upper portion side of the mounting groove 13, and the coupling member 12 is inserted into the mounting groove 13 from the lower portion side of the mounting groove 13 exposed to the outside of the outer case 11, and is disposed in the mounting groove 13 and the fitting recess 14 of the outer case 11, thereby fixing the outer case 11 to the case main body 10.
Further, for example, in the wristwatch case described in japanese patent application laid-open No. 07-244170, when the coupling member is attached to the outer periphery of the case main body, the inner protruding portion of the coupling member is engaged with the first engaging groove of the case main body, and when the outer case is attached to the outer periphery of the coupling member so as to be fitted from above the case main body, the outer protruding portion of the coupling member is engaged with the second engaging groove of the outer case.
That is, in the wristwatch case described in japanese patent application laid-open No. 07-244170, in order to reliably and stably attach the outer case to the case main body, it is necessary to form the engaging groove of the case main body and the second engaging groove of the first outer case, and to project the inner projecting portion and the outer projecting portion of the coupling member long, but if the inner projecting portion and the outer projecting portion of the coupling member are projected long, it is not only possible to fit the coupling member into the outer periphery of the case main body, but also it is not possible to fit the outer case into the outer periphery of the coupling member from above the case main body.
Therefore, in this wristwatch case, since the projecting lengths of the inner projecting portion and the outer projecting portion of the coupling member to the outside must be shortened, the engagement between the inner projecting portion of the coupling member and the first engagement groove of the case main body and the engagement between the outer projecting portion of the coupling member and the second engagement groove of the outer case are reduced, and the outer case cannot be stably attached to the case main body. However, in the present embodiment, since the coupling member 12 is inserted after the outer case 11 is covered on the upper outer periphery of the case main body 10, the engagement between the coupling member 12 and the outer case 11 is not made shallow, and the outer case can be stably attached to the case main body.
In the wristwatch case described in japanese patent application laid-open No. 07-244170, when the synthetic resin coupling member is fitted into the outer periphery of the case main body from above, the inner protruding portion of the coupling member needs to be engaged with the first engaging groove of the case main body, and when the exterior case is fitted into the outer periphery of the coupling member from above the case main body in this state, the outer protruding portion of the coupling member needs to be engaged with the second engaging groove of the exterior case, which makes the assembly operation complicated and troublesome.
However, in the wristwatch case 1, when the exterior case 11 is disposed so as to cover the outer periphery of the upper portion of the case main body 10, the lower portion of the mounting groove 13 can be exposed to the outside of the lower portion of the exterior case 11, and the fitting recess 14 of the exterior case 11 can be made to correspond to the upper portion of the mounting groove 13, whereby the coupling member 12 can be inserted into the mounting groove 13 from the lower portion of the mounting groove 13 exposed to the outside of the lower portion of the exterior case 11.
Therefore, in the wristwatch case 1, since the coupling member 12 can be inserted into the mounting groove 13 in a state where the outer case 11 is disposed on the upper outer periphery of the case main body 10, not only the assembling workability is improved, but also the gap between the outer surface of the case main body 10 and the inner surface of the outer case 11 can be reduced. Further, since the coupling member 12 inserted into the mounting groove 13 can be fitted into the fitting recess 14 of the outer case 11, the outer case 11 can be reliably and stably fixed to the case body 10 by the coupling member 12 without using screws.
In the case of the present embodiment, the coupling member 12 includes: a body portion 15 that is disposed so as to be inserted into the mounting groove 13 from a lower side of the mounting groove 13 exposed to the outside of the exterior case 11 in a state where the exterior case 11 is disposed on an upper side outer periphery of the exterior case body 10; and a hook portion 16 that is fitted into the fitting recess 14 of the outer case 11 when the body portion 15 is disposed in the mounting groove 13. Thus, when the coupling member 12 is inserted into the fitting groove 13 from the lower side of the fitting groove 13 exposed to the lower outside of the exterior case 11, the hook portion 16 can be reliably fitted into the fitting recess 14 of the exterior case 11, and the body portion 15 can be reliably disposed in the fitting groove 13.
That is, in the coupling member 12, when the body 15 is inserted into the mounting groove 13 in a state where the hook portion 16 is inserted into the mounting groove 13 from the lower side of the mounting groove 13 exposed to the outside of the exterior case 11 and corresponds to the fitting recess 14 of the exterior case 11, the body 15 is inserted into the mounting groove 13 of the case body 10 while rotating about the end portion on the hook portion 16 side, and the hook portion 16 is fitted into the fitting recess 14. This enables the coupling member 12 to be smoothly and satisfactorily inserted from the lower side of the mounting groove 13 exposed to the outside of the exterior case 11, the hook portion 16 to be reliably fitted into the fitting recess 14 of the exterior case 11, and the body portion 15 to be reliably disposed in the mounting groove 13.
In the case of the present embodiment, the coupling member 12 is configured such that the boundary portion between the body portion 15 and the hook portion 16 is formed on the arc surface 12a, and the hook portion 16 of the coupling member 12 is inserted into the mounting groove 13 from the lower side of the mounting groove 13 exposed to the outside of the lower side of the exterior case 11, and corresponds to the fitting recess 14 provided on the inner circumferential surface of the exterior case 11, and in this state, the arc surface 12a provided on the boundary portion between the body portion 15 and the hook portion 16 can be slid along the arc surface 13a of the mounting groove 13 while abutting against the arc surface 13a of the mounting groove 13.
Therefore, in the coupling member 12, the body 15 is smoothly rotated and moved toward the fitting groove 13 with the arc surface 12a of the body 15 as a fulcrum, the hook portion 16 can be gradually inserted into and fitted into the fitting recess 14 of the exterior case 11, and the body 15 can be smoothly inserted into and satisfactorily arranged in the fitting groove 13.
The wristwatch case 1 further includes a pressing member 17, and the pressing member 17 presses the body portion 15 of the coupling member 12 disposed in the mounting groove 13 of the case body 10 and exposed to the outside of the outer case 11 into the mounting groove 13. Thus, the pressing member 17 can reliably prevent the coupling member 12 from coming off the fitting groove 13 exposed outside the exterior case 11, and the pressing member 17 can shield the body 15 exposed outside the exterior case 11, thereby providing the wristwatch case 1 which is preferable in terms of appearance and design.
In this case, the pressing member 17 is provided with mounting portions 17a on both sides thereof, and the mounting portions 17a are provided with engaging projections 17b on upper portions thereof, respectively, the engaging projections 17b are inserted into engaging holes 11a provided in the lower surfaces of the housing main body 10 on both sides of the fitting groove 13, and the mounting portions 17a are fitted into mounting grooves 18 provided in the outer peripheral surfaces of the housing main body 10 on both sides of the fitting groove 13, whereby the main body portion 15 of the coupling member 12 exposed to the outside on the lower side of the housing main body 11 can be covered with the pressing member 17 and reliably pressed into the fitting groove 13.
In the wristwatch case 1, the back cover 5 provided at the lower portion of the case main body 10 presses and fixes the pressing member to the lower end portion of the case main body 10, and thus the pressing member 17 can be reliably and satisfactorily prevented from coming off the outer peripheral surface of the case main body 10.
Further, according to the manufacturing method of the wristwatch case 1, the assembling workability can be improved and the exterior case 11 can be reliably and stably attached to the case main body 10 by including the first step of disposing the exterior case 11 so as to cover the lower side of the fitting groove 13 on the outer periphery of the upper portion of the case main body 10 having the fitting groove 13 in the vertical direction on the outer periphery, and the second step of inserting the coupling member 12 into the fitting groove 13 and the fitting recess 14 of the exterior case 11 from the lower side of the fitting groove 13 exposed to the outside of the exterior case 11 and fixing the exterior case 11 to the case main body 10.
That is, in the manufacturing method of the wristwatch case 1, when the exterior case 11 is disposed so as to cover the upper outer periphery of the case main body 10 in the first step, the lower side of the mounting groove 13 can be exposed to the outside of the lower side of the exterior case 11, and the fitting recess 14 of the exterior case 11 can be made to correspond to the upper side of the mounting groove 13, so that the coupling member 12 can be inserted into the mounting groove 13 from the lower side of the mounting groove 13 exposed to the outside of the lower side of the exterior case 11 in the second step.
Therefore, in the manufacturing method of the wristwatch case 1, in a state where the outer case 11 is disposed so as to cover the upper outer periphery of the case main body 10 in the first step, the coupling member 12 can be inserted into the mounting groove 13 in the second step, and thus the assembling workability is improved, and the gap between the outer surface of the case main body 10 and the inner surface of the outer case 11 can be reduced. Further, since the coupling member 12 inserted into the mounting groove 13 can be fitted into the fitting recess 14 of the outer case 11, the outer case 11 can be reliably and stably fixed to the case body 10 by the coupling member 12 without using screws.
In the method of manufacturing the wristwatch case 1, in the second step, the hook portion 16 of the coupling member 12 is inserted into the mounting groove 13 from the lower side of the mounting groove 13 exposed to the outside of the outer case 11 so as to correspond to the fitting recess 14 of the outer case 11, and in this state, the body portion 15 can be disposed in the mounting groove 13 by fitting the hook portion 16 into the fitting recess 14 while rotating the body portion 15 of the coupling member 12 toward the mounting groove 13, whereby the hook portion 16 can be reliably fitted into the fitting recess 14 of the outer case 11, and the body portion 15 can be reliably disposed in the mounting groove 13.
That is, in the manufacturing method of the wristwatch case 1, the hook portion 16 of the coupling member 12 is inserted into the mounting groove 13 from the lower side of the mounting groove 13 exposed to the outside of the outer case 11 so as to correspond to the fitting recess 14 of the outer case 11, and the body portion 15 is inserted into the mounting groove 13 in this state, and at this time, the body portion 15 is inserted into the mounting groove 13 of the case body 10 while being rotated about the end portion of the body portion 15 on the hook portion 16 side, and the hook portion 16 is fitted into the fitting recess 14, whereby the coupling member 12 is smoothly and favorably inserted from the lower side of the mounting groove 13 exposed to the outside of the outer case 11, and the hook portion 16 can be reliably fitted into the fitting recess 14 of the outer case 11, and the body portion 15 can be reliably disposed in the mounting groove 13.
In addition, in the method of manufacturing the wristwatch case 1, the pressing member 17 can reliably prevent the connection member 12 exposed to the outside of the outer case 11 from coming off by the third step in which the pressing member 17 presses the body 15 of the connection member 12 disposed in the mounting groove 13 of the case main body 10 and exposed to the outside of the outer case 11 into the mounting groove 13, and then the back cover 5 is attached to the lower portion of the case main body 10 and the pressing member 17 is pressed and fixed to the lower end portion of the outer case 11 by the back cover 5.
That is, in the method of manufacturing the wristwatch case 1, since the body portion 15 of the coupling member 12 exposed to the outside of the outer case 11 is pressed into the fitting groove 13 by the pressing member 17 in the third step, the coupling member 12 exposed to the outside of the outer case 11 can be reliably prevented from coming off the fitting groove 13 by the pressing member 17, and the body portion 15 exposed to the outside of the outer case 11 can be shielded by the pressing member 17, so that the wristwatch case 1 can be provided which is preferable in terms of appearance and design.
In the method of manufacturing the wristwatch case 1, the back cover 5 provided at the lower portion of the case main body 10 presses and fixes the pressing member 17 to the lower end portion of the outer case 11 in the third step, whereby the pressing member 17 can be reliably and satisfactorily prevented from coming off the outer peripheral surface of the case main body 10.
