It should be understood that although the terms first, second, third, etc. may be used in this specification to describe various information, these information should not be limited to these terms. These terms are only used to distinguish one type of information from another. For example, the first information may also be referred to as second information, and similarly, the second information may also be referred to as first information, without departing from the scope of the present description. The word "if" as used herein may be interpreted as "at … …" or "at … …" or "responsive to a determination", depending on the context.
As shown in fig. 1, the present specification discloses a method for establishing a session, the method comprising:
s1, determining a target base station, wherein the target base station is a base station meeting base station switching conditions;
s2, acquiring a target session group identifier, wherein the target session group identifier is an identifier of a session group meeting a preset active value;
s3, the target session group identification is sent to the target base station, so that the target base station establishes a first session group context corresponding to the target session group identification according to the target session group identification.
It should be noted that, the session group context mentioned in this specification may be understood as an uplink and downlink channel for implementing a group session.
In this specification, the terminal device performs group communication through a source base station at a certain time, where a session group context capable of performing group communication for the terminal device exists, however, most of the terminal devices are mobile devices, such as mobile phones, mobile handsets, mobile computers, and the like, which are popular at present, and a user often moves while talking through the session group. When the user moves away from the control range of the source base station (or moves from the first cell to the second cell in the source base station), the situation of base station switching (the situation that cell switching is applicable and reference is subsequently made to base station switching) occurs, namely the terminal equipment needs to be switched from the source base station to the target base station.
In this embodiment, the main body for executing the method may be a terminal device or a base station device, and in this embodiment, the main body is taken as the terminal device for illustration for convenience of distinction.
In combination with step S1, the terminal device determines whether to perform base station handover according to the measurement report (e.g. field strength measurement report) between itself and the source base station, and determines the target base station (i.e. the base station satisfying the handover condition) according to the measurement report between itself and other base stations.
Specifically, when the terminal device detects that the value in the measurement report between itself and the source base station satisfies the third threshold, the terminal device may determine that the base station handover condition is reached. For example, when the terminal device detects that the measurement report (field strength measurement report) between itself and the source base station reaches-75 dB, and the third threshold is-70 dB, the terminal device can be considered to reach the base station handover condition.
Meanwhile, judging whether a base station meeting a first threshold exists in the value in the measurement report between the base station and other base stations, and if so, determining the base station meeting the first threshold as a target base station. For example, the first threshold is-40 dB, and the terminal device may acquire, from measurement reports with other base stations, base stations whose values in the measurement report are greater than or equal to-40 dB; if there are multiple base stations meeting the first threshold, one base station can be arbitrarily selected as the target base station, or one base station is selected from the base stations meeting the first threshold as the target base station according to the optimization principle.
In step S2, the terminal device determines the target base station according to the above steps, and at the same time, the terminal device may obtain the target session group identifier, specifically, the terminal device obtains a session group that meets a preset activity value, where the preset activity value may be a set second threshold, and the second threshold may be understood as a number of calls or a duration of a call, for example, a session group where a call is performed more than N times in a period of time (N is an activity value), where N may be a natural number, and for example, a session group where a call duration in a period of time exceeds M seconds (M is an activity value), where M may be a natural number; in another example, the preset activity value may be understood as a usage status of the session group, for example, when the preset activity value is 1, the session group is being used, i.e. when the preset activity value is 1, the obtained target session group is the session group being used.
In this step, the obtained target session group identification may be a global identification for representing the target session group, such as an ID of the session group.
In step S3, the terminal device may send the target session group identifier to the target base station when RRC (Radio Resource Control ) is established, and specifically, may send the target session group identifier before or after the notification source base station and the target base station are switched.
After the target base station receives the target session group identifier sent by the terminal device, the target base station may perform the following steps, as shown in fig. 2,
s21, receiving a target session group identifier sent by target equipment, wherein the target session group identifier is an identifier of a session group meeting a preset active value in the target equipment;
s22, according to the target session group identification, a first session group context corresponding to the target session group identification is established.
In step S22, the specific process of the base station establishing the first session group context according to the target session group identifier includes that the base station, after acquiring the target session group identifier, may notify the MME (Mobility Management Entity ) to perform handover through Path Switch Request (path switch request), and carry the target session group identifier at Path Switch Request.
The MME judges whether a session group context matched with the target session group identification direction exists in the base station (for convenience of distinguishing, the session group context matched with the target session group identification direction is called a second session group context herein) (meanwhile, whether a cell in the base station exists the session group context matched with the target session group identification direction or not can be judged), and if not, a first session group context is established according to the target session group identification; or if there is a second session group context matching the target session group identification, using the second session group context as the first session group context.
In this embodiment, a second session group context may exist in the base station, but the cell in which the second session group context is located is not a target cell, where the cell is a division of different areas by the base station, and under one base station, there are typically multiple cells, and one cell can be considered to cover a certain area, and a common theoretical model is 1 base station 3 cells, and each cell covers 120 degrees of area. The target cell in this embodiment is the cell to which the terminal device should belong, and if this occurs, the MME notifies the base station to modify the second session group context to establish the second session group context into the target cell, and uses the second session group context established into the target cell as the first session group context.
From the above embodiments, it can be seen that, when the terminal device determines that the base station needs to be switched, the terminal device sends the target session group identifier to the target base station, so that after the base station receives the target session group identifier, the base station can establish a corresponding session group context according to the target session group identifier, thereby greatly shortening the time for establishing the target session group context for meeting the requirement of the base station, and avoiding the situation that the user affects the call quality due to overlong establishment time of the target session group context caused by the cross-base station call.
In combination with the above embodiment, as a base station, the obtained target session group identifier may also be actively sent to the target base station through an inter-base station interface (X2 interface), which specifically includes the following steps:
the base station being used as the terminal device may be understood as a source base station, and when the terminal device and the self measurement information acquired by the source base station meet a third threshold value, a base station handover condition is determined to be achieved for the terminal device, where the third threshold value may be a field strength value, and a determination process is similar to the third threshold value in the above embodiment, and will not be described in detail herein.
Further, when it is determined that the terminal device satisfies the base station handover condition, the source base station may acquire measurement information of the terminal base station and other base stations (similar to the embodiment of the first threshold in the above embodiment, which is not described in detail herein), and determine the target base station.
Further, a second session group identifier of the terminal equipment and the terminal equipment is obtained, wherein the second session group identifier is an identifier of a session group of which the session group activity value meets a second threshold value. In this step, the base station itself records the related information of the call with the terminal device, so that the second session group identifier (similar to the target session group identifier in the above embodiment) can be selected according to the activity values of different session groups.
Further, the source base station sends the second session group identifier to the target base station through the inter-base station X2 interface.
As can be seen from this embodiment, in this embodiment, the source base station may send the second session group identifier to the target base station through the inter-base station interface.
The present disclosure also provides, in accordance with embodiments in the present specification, an apparatus having a processor and a machine-readable storage medium storing machine-executable instructions executable by the processor, the processor being caused by the machine-executable instructions to: the method steps of the above embodiments are implemented.
The device may be a base station or a terminal device.
The present disclosure also provides a machine-readable storage medium storing machine-executable instructions that, when invoked and executed by a processor, cause the processor to: the method steps of the above embodiments are implemented.
