Description

Electric connector, electric connector combination and electronic device
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to an electrical connector, and a related electrical connector assembly and an electronic device, and more particularly, to an electrical connector with a contact ring.
Background
In the field of connectors, most connection solutions for rotational applications employ cylindrical crimp terminals (pogo pins) as the terminals of the connector. However, the cost of the cylindrical crimp terminal is relatively high. In addition, because the compression stroke required during the mating process of the cylindrical crimp terminal is relatively large, and because of the limitation of the internal structure of the cylindrical crimp terminal, the head of the cylindrical crimp terminal is usually higher than the height of the interface, or the contact stroke of the elastic terminal is more than the limit of the height in a multiple manner compared to the existing plate-formed elastic terminal.
Further, chinese publication No. 101790824 a (U.S. corresponding patent publication No. 2009/0038928A 1) discloses an electrical contact member including a first laterally extending arm having a first contact point formed at its tip, and a second laterally extending arm having a second contact point formed at its tip. The electrical contact member is in contact with a first contact ring and a second conductive ring. Although this patent employs a configuration in which the resilient terminal contacts the conductive ring, how is the conductive ring disposed within the device? How can assembly be facilitated? Is a problem that must be overcome.
The above "background" description merely provides background, and no admission is made that the above "background" description discloses subject matter of the present application and does not constitute background of the present application, and any description of the above "background" should not be taken as an admission that the present application is of any sort.

In this application, the electrical connection board providing the electrical connection and a circuit board on which the electronic components for operating a device are disposed are taken as two separate components. Therefore, the material and/or plating thickness of the electrical connection board and the circuit board can be different. For example, the strength, wear resistance and conductivity of the electrical connection board can be enhanced. In addition, since the electrical connection board for providing electrical connection is separated from the circuit board, the circuit board can provide a relatively large space for mounting electronic components, thereby completing a relatively complicated circuit layout.
In addition, the electric connector and the butt electric connector can rotate relatively. As mentioned above, since the electrical connection board for providing electrical connection is separated from the circuit board, when the electrical connection board is damaged, only the electrical connector needs to be replaced to replace the electrical connection board, and the circuit board does not need to be replaced, so that the cost of the electronic components disposed on the circuit board is relatively high. Therefore, the structure of the electric connector can reduce the maintenance cost of the electronic device.
In addition, the electric connection board and the adapter connector are assembled on the shell to form an assembly of the electric connector. Thus, the electrical connector can be replaced by simply removing the housing from the device. Therefore, the electric connector has the characteristic of easy assembly and disassembly, thereby being beneficial to repair or replacement.
