Description

Terminal energy efficiency reporting method, uplink transmitting power control method and device
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of wireless communications technologies, and in particular, to a method for reporting terminal energy efficiency, and a method and apparatus for controlling uplink transmit power.
Background
Along with the deep integration of communication and industry, the 5G terminal forms show diversified trend, and meanwhile, higher performance requirements are also faced, the power consumption is a key performance index of the 5G terminal, and the cruising ability of the terminal can seriously influence the experience of a user. Compared with the 4G terminal, the 5G terminal has higher requirements on communication functions and performances, and the high-frequency band, the large bandwidth and the high-speed data transmission and processing processes can increase the power consumption of the 5G terminal, so that the design of the 5G terminal is more challenging.
With the wide application of high-speed data services and the diversification trend of user service models, energy efficiency has become a new research hotspot in the field of mobile communication. The 3GPP standard TR 38.913, section "Study on Scenarios and Requirements for Next Generation Access Technologies"7.19 defines network energy efficiency to measure network energy consumption, measured by bit per Joule. The standard defines the characteristics of BWP (Band Width Part), DRX (Discontinuous Reception ) and the like to optimize the power consumption performance of the 5G terminal, but an estimated index is lacking at present, and the influence of the parameter configuration of the network on the power consumption and power saving of the terminal cannot be measured. Similar to network energy efficiency, terminal energy efficiency may be a measure.
Different from the network energy efficiency, different terminals have different energy consumption levels under the same parameter configuration due to the influence of implementation, devices and the like, so that the 3GPP defines a terminal power consumption model in TR38.840, and the energy consumption condition of the terminals is represented by adopting relative values.
The sixth chapter 38.321 shows the structure of MAC (media access control layer, medium access control layer) PDU (Protocol Data Unit ) containing MAC subheader, MAC CE (control element), MAC PDU, padding, etc., and distinguishing different reporting information by Table 6.2.1-1/2Values of LCID (logical channel identify, logical channel identification), see protocol for details.
The seventh chapter 38.213 shows the procedure of uplink PUSCH (Physical Uplink Shared Channel ) power control, where the base station gives TPC command words by means of calculated target signal-to-noise ratio and measured actual signal-to-noise ratio. The formula of the uplink transmitting power of the terminal PUSCH is as follows:
Figure BDA0001994981200000021
the existing standard gives out a measurement standard of network energy efficiency and the TPC command word given out by the uplink PUSCH power control scheme through the target signal-to-noise ratio and the actual signal-to-noise ratio has the problems of untimely adjustment, large error and the like, and related factors need to be considered for fine adjustment when the TPC command word is sent out.

The technical scheme of the invention is further described below with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments:
in this embodiment, the terminal energy efficiency is defined as follows, and the calculation formula of the terminal energy efficiency ue_ee is as follows:
ue_ee=data Volume/power consumption formula (1)
The calculation of Power consumption needs to exclude individual terminal differences, and the calculation formula of defining the mption in TR38.840 by using 3GPP is as follows:
the terminal Power consumption model of Power control Power consumption is the sum of the energy consumption of different time slot states, power control= Σi= Power statepower consumption (i) formula (2)
The unit of DATA Volume is bit/s, which is the average rate of the terminal in a specified interval.
The energy efficiency of different terminals according to the calculation interval can be divided into instantaneous energy efficiency and average energy efficiency:
the instantaneous energy efficiency is defined as the energy efficiency per unit time (e.g., per second), where both the rate and the energy efficiency are instantaneous values per unit time. The instantaneous energy efficiency is high in real-time performance, and the network can carry out real-time parameter adjustment or differential setting according to the instantaneous energy efficiency of the terminal.
The average energy efficiency is defined as the energy efficiency of the terminal making one connection, starting with the terminal and ending with the RRC connection to RRC release, i.e. from signaling RRC CONNECTION SETUP (set up) to RRC CONNECTION RELEASE. The average energy efficiency reflects the average energy efficiency of the primary connection of the terminal, and can be used as an evaluation value of the energy-saving friendliness of the network to the terminal.
The energy efficiency of different terminals according to the data volume data can be classified into uplink energy efficiency, downlink energy efficiency and total energy efficiency. The parameters of the network are related to the uplink, downlink or total rate, and the adjustment or evaluation of the network connection parameters can be more specifically carried out by defining the energy efficiency in different directions.
Wherein, the uplink energy efficiency is defined as: ratio of uplink rate to power consumption;
the downlink energy efficiency is defined as: ratio of downlink rate to power consumption;
the total energy efficiency is defined as: ratio of total rate to power consumption.
As shown in table 1, the classification of the terminal energy efficiency mainly includes the following:
TABLE 1
Figure BDA0001994981200000091
The reporting mode of the terminal energy efficiency is as follows:
the terminal energy efficiency is a specific value, reporting is performed according to the grade, reporting is performed by N bits, and the grade of the terminal energy efficiency is divided into 2 N Stage in the range of 0 to 2 N -1。
Figure BDA0001994981200000092
Figure BDA0001994981200000101
The instantaneous energy efficiency is reported periodically by using a MAC PDU, and the network sets a reporting period of the instantaneous energy efficiency for the terminal, as shown in fig. 3, and adds a field in a RRC CONNECTION RECONFIGURTION message: UE_EE_IM, the value range is 1-M, the unit is s, and the configuration is carried out through RRC CONNECTION RECONFIGURTION information when random access is carried out, and when the period arrives, the terminal reports the latest calculated energy efficiency. The reporting of the instantaneous energy efficiency occupies 3N bits, a proprietary LCID is adopted, the network can analyze the specific level of the energy efficiency through the LCID, the MAC PDU structure of the instantaneous energy efficiency is shown in fig. 4, and the MAC PDU structure is respectively the total instantaneous energy efficiency, the downlink instantaneous energy efficiency and the uplink instantaneous energy efficiency, and each instantaneous energy efficiency occupies N bits.
The average energy efficiency is reported by adopting an RRC signaling, after receiving the RRC RELEASE message, the terminal starts to calculate and store the average energy efficiency of the RRC connection, and when the RRC connection is performed next time, as shown in fig. 5, the average energy efficiency is reported by using the context information of the RRC message UE.
The terminal energy efficiency is not a necessary parameter of the network, and the network may indicate to the terminal whether to report the terminal energy efficiency or whether to report the instantaneous energy efficiency or the average energy efficiency. Whether the terminal energy efficiency reports may refer to a field device type in the UE reporting capability message UE Capability Information message, which is used to indicate whether the UE supports the power saving mode. If the UE supports the power saving mode, the energy efficiency of the terminal needs to be reported, otherwise, the energy efficiency is not reported. Because the instantaneous energy efficiency is reported periodically, when the network is not configured with the instantaneous energy efficiency periodic parameter, the instantaneous energy efficiency is not reported;
the uplink power control module of the base station is positioned in the MAC layer and is mainly responsible for calculating the target signal-to-noise ratio and outputting TPC command words for the terminal to carry out power adjustment. The existing scheme introduces the uplink instantaneous energy efficiency and the issuing of the MCS adjustment TPC command word, which is more beneficial to terminal power adjustment and achieves the optimal energy state.
The specific algorithm is that the actual transmitting power, PHR and uplink instantaneous energy efficiency are reported to the terminal, the base station power control module calculates the TPC command word after receiving the information, then the final TPC command word is output by considering the uplink instantaneous energy efficiency and MCS and is sent to the terminal for uplink transmitting power adjustment, as shown in fig. 6 and 7, the uplink instantaneous energy efficiency is provided with two threshold values L1 and L2, wherein L1 is greater than L2, the value is the energy efficiency level, the value range is 0-2N-1, and the MCS is provided with one threshold value X. When the uplink instantaneous energy efficiency is higher than L1, the terminal power consumption is considered to be in an optimal state, and the uplink transmitting power is not adjusted; when the uplink instantaneous energy efficiency is between L1 and L2, the terminal power consumption is indicated to be at a medium level, the terminal power consumption is sent according to the calculated TPC command word, when the terminal uplink instantaneous energy efficiency is lower than L2, the surface terminal power consumption is in a poor state, at the moment, the MCS level needs to be judged, and when the MCS level is higher, the surface terminal power consumption level difference is caused by less real data and needs to be sent according to the calculated TPC command word; when the MCS level is lower, the surface terminal is at the signal difference point and the rate is lower, and at this time, raising the terminal transmitting power only causes the terminal power consumption to be worse, and at this time, the transmitting power needs to be reduced or not adjusted.
