The functions, if implemented in the form of software functional units and sold or used as a stand-alone product, may be stored in a computer readable storage medium. Based on such understanding, the technical solution of the present invention may be embodied in the form of a software product, which is stored in a storage medium and includes instructions for causing a computer device (which may be a personal computer, a server, or a network device) to execute all or part of the steps of the method according to the embodiments of the present invention. And the aforementioned storage medium includes: various media capable of storing program codes, such as a U disk, a removable hard disk, a ROM, a RAM, a magnetic disk, or an optical disk.
Furthermore, it is to be noted that in the device and method of the invention, it is obvious that the individual components or steps can be decomposed and/or recombined. These decompositions and/or recombinations are to be regarded as equivalents of the present invention. Also, the steps of performing the series of processes described above may naturally be performed chronologically in the order described, but need not necessarily be performed chronologically, and some steps may be performed in parallel or independently of each other. It will be understood by those skilled in the art that all or any of the steps or elements of the method and apparatus of the present invention may be implemented in any computing device (including processors, storage media, etc.) or network of computing devices, in hardware, firmware, software, or any combination thereof, which can be implemented by those skilled in the art using their basic programming skills after reading the description of the present invention.
Thus, the objects of the invention may also be achieved by running a program or a set of programs on any computing device. The computing device may be a general purpose device as is well known. The object of the invention is thus also achieved solely by providing a program product comprising program code for implementing the method or the apparatus. That is, such a program product also constitutes the present invention, and a storage medium storing such a program product also constitutes the present invention. It is to be understood that the storage medium may be any known storage medium or any storage medium developed in the future. It is further noted that in the apparatus and method of the present invention, it is apparent that each component or step can be decomposed and/or recombined. These decompositions and/or recombinations are to be regarded as equivalents of the present invention. Also, the steps of executing the series of processes described above may naturally be executed chronologically in the order described, but need not necessarily be executed chronologically. Some steps may be performed in parallel or independently of each other.
While the foregoing is directed to the preferred embodiment of the present invention, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims.

Claims (27)

1. A method for reporting user plane statistical information is applied to a User Plane Function (UPF) entity, and the method comprises the following steps:
receiving a request message which is sent by a first target functional entity and requests the UPF to report the user plane statistical information;
and sending the user plane statistical information to the first target functional entity.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the first target functional entity comprises: a network data analysis function (NWDAF) entity or a Session Management Function (SMF) entity;
receiving a request message sent by a first target functional entity and requesting the UPF to report the user plane statistical information, wherein the request message comprises the following steps:
receiving a notification of subscribing user plane statistical information sent by the NWDAF entity or a request message requesting the UPF to report the user plane statistical information;
alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
receiving indication information which is sent by the SMF entity and requests a User Plane Function (UPF) entity to execute user plane information statistics;
alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
and receiving a notice of subscribing the user plane statistical information sent by the SMF entity.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein sending the user plane statistics information to the first target functional entity comprises:
sending the user plane statistics to the NWDAF entity; or
And sending the user plane statistical information to the SMF entity.
4. The method for reporting user plane statistics information as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the obtaining the user plane statistics information comprises:
user plane statistics of terminals, applications and/or flows are obtained.
5. The method of claim 4, wherein the user plane statistics information comprises: at least one of bit rate, message delay, number of message retransmissions.
6. The method for reporting user plane statistics information as claimed in claim 5, wherein,
the bit rates include: the bit rate of the uplink data and the bit rate of the downlink data;
the message delay comprises: message delay of uplink data and message delay of downlink data.
7. A method for receiving user plane statistics, wherein the method is applied to a network data analysis function NWDAF entity, and the method comprises:
sending a request message for reporting user plane statistical information to a second target functional entity;
and receiving the user plane statistical information reported by the second target functional entity.
8. The method for receiving user plane statistics information as claimed in claim 7, wherein sending a request message for reporting user plane statistics information to a second target function entity comprises:
calling a target function service, and sending a notice for subscribing the user plane statistical information to the second target function entity; or
And sending request information for requesting the second target functional entity to report the user plane statistical information to the second target functional entity.
9. The method of receiving user plane statistics information as claimed in claim 8, wherein the second target function entity comprises: a user plane function UPF entity or a session management function SMF entity.
10. A transmission method of user plane statistical information is applied to a Session Management Function (SMF) entity, and the method comprises the following steps:
receiving user plane statistical information sent by a user plane function UPF entity;
and sending the user plane statistical information to a network data analysis function (NWDAF) entity.
11. The method for receiving user plane statistics information as claimed in claim 10, wherein before receiving the user plane statistics information sent by the user plane function UPF entity, the method further comprises:
receiving a service calling request of a network data analysis function (NWDAF) entity;
and sending indication information for executing user plane information statistics to a user plane function UPF entity.
12. The method for receiving user plane statistics information as claimed in claim 10, wherein before receiving the user plane statistics information sent by the user plane function UPF entity, the method further comprises:
and sending a notice of subscribing the user plane statistical information to the UPF entity.
13. The method for receiving user plane statistics information according to any of claims 10 to 12, wherein the user plane statistics information comprises: at least one of bit rate, message delay, number of message retransmissions.
14. A network device, wherein the network device is a user plane function, UPF, entity, comprising:
the transceiver is used for receiving a request message which is sent by a first target functional entity and requests the UPF to report the user plane statistical information;
and sending the user plane statistical information to the first target functional entity.
15. The network device of claim 14, wherein the first target function entity comprises: a network data analysis function (NWDAF) entity or a Session Management Function (SMF) entity;
the transceiver is used for receiving a notification of subscribing user plane statistical information sent by the NWDAF entity or a request message requesting the UPF to report the user plane statistical information; or receiving indication information which is sent by the SMF entity and requests a User Plane Function (UPF) entity to execute user plane information statistics; or receiving a notification of subscribing the user plane statistical information sent by the SMF entity.
16. The network device of claim 15, wherein the transceiver is further configured to send the user plane statistics to the NWDAF entity; or sending the user plane statistical information to the SMF entity.
17. The network device of any one of claims 14 to 16, further comprising a processor, the processor being configured to: user plane statistics of terminals, applications and/or flows are obtained.
18. The network device of claim 17, wherein the user plane statistics comprise: at least one of bit rate, message delay, number of message retransmissions.
19. The network device of claim 18,
the bit rates include: the bit rate of the uplink data and the bit rate of the downlink data;
the message delay comprises: message delay of uplink data and message delay of downlink data.
20. A network device, wherein the network device is a network data analysis function, NWDAF, entity, comprising:
the transceiver is used for sending a request message for reporting the user plane statistical information to a second target function entity; and is used for receiving the user plane statistical information reported by the second target functional entity.
21. The network device of claim 20, wherein the transceiver is specifically configured to invoke a target function service, send a notification of subscription to user plane statistics to the second target function entity; or, sending request information for requesting the target functional entity to report the user plane statistical information to the second target functional entity.
22. The network device of claim 21, wherein the second target function entity comprises: a user plane function UPF entity or a session management function SMF entity.
23. A network device, wherein the network device is a session management function, SMF, entity, comprising:
the transceiver is used for receiving the user plane statistical information sent by the user plane function UPF entity; and sending the user plane statistical information to a network data analysis function (NWDAF) entity.
24. The network device of claim 23, wherein the transceiver is further configured to: receiving a service calling request of a network data analysis function (NWDAF) entity; and sending indication information for executing user plane information statistics to a user plane function UPF entity.
25. The network device of claim 24, wherein the transceiver is further configured to: and sending a notice of subscribing the user plane statistical information to the UPF entity.
26. A network device, comprising: a processor, a memory storing a computer program which, when executed by the processor, performs the method of any of claims 1 to 6, or the method of any of claims 7 to 9, or the method of any of claims 10 to 13.
27. A computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions which, when executed on a computer, cause the computer to perform the method of any one of claims 1 to 6, or the method of any one of claims 7 to 9, or the method of any one of claims 10 to 13.
