Abstract
The application discloses a method for displaying contents of an electronic reading object on a handheld device, which comprises the following steps: obtaining content texts of at least two languages to be displayed currently by an electronic reading object; simultaneously displaying content texts of at least two languages in at least two display areas on a display screen; detecting a trigger operation for switching the display positions of the content texts of the at least two languages; and aiming at the triggering operation, switching the display positions of the content texts of the at least two languages. By adopting the method, the problem that the display positions of the content texts of two languages cannot be adjusted according to the requirements of users in the existing reading products is solved.
Description
Technical Field

Background
With the development of the internet, more and more users browse reading objects (e.g., electronic books) using reading products on terminal devices.

In the following description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the present invention. The present invention may be embodied in many other forms than those herein described, and those skilled in the art will readily appreciate that the present invention may be similarly embodied without departing from the spirit or essential characteristics thereof, and therefore the present invention is not limited to the specific embodiments disclosed below.
A first embodiment of the present application provides a method for displaying contents of an electronic reading object on a handheld device, and is described below with reference to fig. 1 to 7.
As shown in fig. 1, in step S101, content texts in at least two languages currently to be displayed by an electronic reading object are obtained.
The electronic reading object may refer to an electronic book.
And the content texts in at least two languages to be displayed currently refer to the content texts in at least two languages to be displayed on a display screen for a user to read. As shown in fig. 2, the content above the display screen is the content text of the english to be currently displayed, and the content below the display screen is the content text of the chinese to be currently displayed.

The touch device can comprise a touch pad on a notebook computer.

Optionally, the electronic device is further configured to perform the following steps: and marking the text of other languages corresponding to the selected information element in the content text of the other languages.
Optionally, the displaying the content text of the at least two languages in at least two display areas on the display screen simultaneously includes:
at least two display areas on the display screen, different background styles are used, and content texts of at least two languages are simultaneously displayed.
Optionally, the displaying the content text of the at least two languages on the display screen simultaneously includes: at least two language translations for the same content are presented simultaneously on a display screen.
It should be noted that, for the detailed description of the electronic device provided in the third embodiment of the present application, reference may be made to the related description of the first embodiment of the present application, which is not repeated here.
In correspondence to the first embodiment of the present application, a storage device is further provided, where a program of a method for displaying contents of an electronic reading object on a handheld device is stored, where the program is executed by a processor, and the following steps are performed:
obtaining content texts of at least two languages to be displayed currently by an electronic reading object;
simultaneously displaying content texts of at least two languages in at least two display areas on a display screen;
detecting a trigger operation for switching the display positions of the content texts of the at least two languages;
and aiming at the triggering operation, switching the display positions of the content texts of the at least two languages.
It should be noted that, for the detailed description of the storage device provided in the fourth embodiment of the present application, reference may be made to the related description of the first embodiment of the present application, which is not repeated here.
While the preferred embodiment has been described, it is not intended to limit the invention thereto, and any person skilled in the art may make variations and modifications without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention, so that the scope of the present invention shall be defined by the claims of the present application.
In one typical configuration, a computing device includes one or more processors (CPUs), input/output interfaces, network interfaces, and memory.
The memory may include volatile memory in a computer-readable medium, random Access Memory (RAM) and/or nonvolatile memory, such as Read Only Memory (ROM) or flash memory (flash RAM). Memory is an example of computer-readable media.
Computer readable media, including both non-transitory and non-transitory, removable and non-removable media, may implement information storage by any method or technology. The information may be computer readable instructions, data structures, modules of a program, or other data. Examples of storage media for a computer include, but are not limited to, phase change memory (PRAM), static Random Access Memory (SRAM), dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM), other types of Random Access Memory (RAM), read Only Memory (ROM), electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM), flash memory or other memory technology, compact disc read only memory (CD-ROM), digital Versatile Discs (DVD) or other optical storage, magnetic cassettes, magnetic tape magnetic disk storage or other magnetic storage devices, or any other non-transmission medium, which can be used to store information that can be accessed by a computing device. Computer readable media, as defined herein, does not include non-transitory computer readable media (transmission media), such as modulated data signals and carrier waves.
It will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that embodiments of the present application may be provided as a method, system, or computer program product. Accordingly, the present application may take the form of an entirely hardware embodiment, an entirely software embodiment or an embodiment combining software and hardware aspects. Furthermore, the present application may take the form of a computer program product embodied on one or more computer-usable storage media (including, but not limited to, disk storage, CD-ROM, optical storage, and the like) having computer-usable program code embodied therein.
Claims (16)
1. A method of presenting content of an electronic reading object on a handheld device, comprising:
obtaining content texts of at least two languages to be displayed currently by an electronic reading object;
simultaneously displaying content texts of at least two languages in at least two display areas on a display screen;
detecting a trigger operation for switching the display positions of the content texts of the at least two languages;
switching display positions of content texts of the at least two languages according to the triggering operation;
detecting a selected operation for an information element contained in the first language content text;
displaying other language translations of the selected information element in a display area displaying the first language content text;
marking the text of other languages corresponding to the selected information element in the content text of the other languages; the first language content text and the other language content text are displayed in different display areas.
2. The method as recited in claim 1, further comprising:
a switching button for switching the display position of the content text of the at least two languages is displayed on the display screen;
the detecting a trigger operation for switching the display positions of the content texts of the at least two languages comprises: and detecting a triggering operation for the switching button.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein the at least two display areas are two display areas and the content text in at least two languages is content text in two languages;
the at least two display areas on the display screen simultaneously display content texts in the at least two languages, including:
content text in one language is displayed in one of the two display areas while content text in the other language is displayed in the other display area.
4. The method of claim 3, wherein the step of,
when content texts of at least two languages are simultaneously displayed on a display screen in a horizontal screen state, the two display areas are respectively positioned at the left side and the right side of the display screen;
or when the content texts of the at least two languages are simultaneously displayed on the display screen in the vertical screen state, the two display areas are respectively positioned on the upper side and the lower side of the display screen.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein each two adjacent display areas of the at least two display areas are separated by an area dividing line.
6. The method as recited in claim 5, further comprising:
detecting a sliding operation for the area dividing line;
for the sliding operation, the region dividing line is moved on the display screen.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein the detecting a sliding operation for the region split line comprises at least one of:
detecting a gesture sliding motion on the display screen for a region split line;
detecting a gesture sliding motion for a region split line in a touch device of a computing device, wherein the computing device comprises the display screen;
a sliding trigger signal for the region dividing line sent by a controller for controlling a computing device is obtained, wherein the computing device comprises the display screen.
8. The method as recited in claim 1, further comprising:
detecting a sliding operation for the first language content text;
determining the content of the currently displayed first language content text aiming at the sliding operation;
simultaneously displaying the content of the second language content text corresponding to the content of the currently displayed first language content text on the display screen; the first language content text and the second language content text are displayed in different display areas.
9. The method as recited in claim 8, further comprising:
obtaining a speed of a sliding operation for the first language content text;
the method for simultaneously displaying the contents of the second language content text corresponding to the contents of the currently displayed first language content text on the display screen comprises the following steps: and displaying the content of the second language content text corresponding to the content of the currently displayed first language content text on the display screen according to the speed.
10. The method of claim 1, wherein said presenting the other language translations of the selected information element in the display area in which the first language content text is presented comprises:
and displaying the other language translations of the selected information element in a position, which is within a preset distance threshold, of the position of the information element in a display area for displaying the text of the first language content.
11. The method of claim 1, wherein said presenting the other language translations of the selected information element in the display area in which the first language content text is presented comprises:
and displaying other language translations of the selected information element in a highlighting mode in a display area for displaying the text of the first language content.
12. The method of claim 1, wherein the simultaneously presenting content text in the at least two languages in the at least two display areas on the display screen comprises:
at least two display areas on the display screen, different background styles are used, and content texts of at least two languages are simultaneously displayed.
13. The method of claim 1, wherein the simultaneously presenting content text in the at least two languages in the at least two display areas on the display screen comprises: at least two language translations for the same content are presented simultaneously in at least two display areas on a display screen.
14. An apparatus for displaying content of an electronic reading object on a handheld device, comprising:
the content text obtaining unit is used for obtaining content texts of at least two languages to be displayed currently by the electronic reading object;
a content text display unit for simultaneously displaying content texts of at least two languages in at least two display areas on a display screen;
a trigger operation detection unit configured to detect a trigger operation for switching display positions of content texts of the at least two languages;
a display position switching unit for switching display positions of content texts of the at least two languages for the trigger operation;
a selection operation detection unit of information elements for detecting a selection operation for an information element contained in the first language content text;
a selected information element translation display unit, configured to display, in a display area for displaying the text of the first language content, other language translations of the selected information element;
the other language text marking unit is used for marking the other language text corresponding to the selected information element in the content text of the other language; the first language content text and the other language content text are displayed in different display areas.
15. An electronic device, comprising: a display, a processor, and a memory;
the memory is used for storing a program of a method for displaying the content of the electronic reading object on the handheld device, and after the electronic device is powered on and the processor runs the program of the method for displaying the content of the electronic reading object on the handheld device, the following steps are executed:
obtaining content texts of at least two languages to be displayed currently by an electronic reading object;
simultaneously presenting content text in at least two languages on at least two display areas on the display;
detecting a trigger operation for switching the display positions of the content texts of the at least two languages;
switching display positions of content texts of the at least two languages according to the triggering operation;
detecting a selected operation for an information element contained in the first language content text;
displaying other language translations of the selected information element in a display area displaying the first language content text;
marking the text of other languages corresponding to the selected information element in the content text of the other languages; the first language content text and the other language content text are displayed in different display areas.
16. A memory device, characterized in that,
a program stored with a method of exposing the contents of an electronic reading object on a handheld device, the program being executed by a processor to perform the steps of:
obtaining content texts of at least two languages to be displayed currently by an electronic reading object;
simultaneously displaying content texts of at least two languages in at least two display areas on a display screen;
detecting a trigger operation for switching the display positions of the content texts of the at least two languages;
switching display positions of content texts of the at least two languages according to the triggering operation;
detecting a selected operation for an information element contained in the first language content text;
displaying other language translations of the selected information element in a display area displaying the first language content text;
marking the text of other languages corresponding to the selected information element in the content text of the other languages; the first language content text and the other language content text are displayed in different display areas.
