Abstract

Background
The USB interface device is a part commonly used in electronic products, and is used for charging, communication, data transmission, and the like. Since the usage scenarios of electronic products are spread throughout the life of people, the environment in which the USB interface device is located is complex and varied, such as humidity, movement, collision, etc., which may affect the structure of the USB interface device. For example, moisture enters the inside of the electronic product through the USB interface device, resulting in short circuit, failure, and the like. the shell comprises an outer peripheral wall and at least one inner peripheral wall, wherein the inner peripheral wall forms at least one step structure on the inner side of the outer peripheral wall;
an interface assembly, wherein the interface assembly is mounted to the inside of the housing, the inner circumferential wall defining a position of the interface assembly within the housing; and
at least one seal sealing a space between the interface assembly and the housing, securing the interface assembly and the housing.
According to one embodiment of the present invention, the interface module comprises a connector and a connector, the connector is sleeved on one end of the connector, wherein the periphery of the connector forms a first outer surface, and the periphery of the connector forms a second outer surface.

One end of the USB interface device is used for being plugged with other electronic products and communicated with the other electronic products. The other end of the USB interface device is communicated with an electronic component inside an electronic product which is assembled with the USB interface device, so that the two electronic products are communicated. The other end of the USB interface device is sealed through the sealing element 30, so that objects which can influence the internal structure and the function of the electronic product, such as external dust, liquid and the like, are prevented from entering the electronic product, sealing and water proofing are realized, the service life of the USB interface device is prolonged, and the service life of the electronic product is further prolonged.
As shown in fig. 2A to 3, the interface module 20 includes a plug 21 and a connector 22. The plug 21 and the connector 22 are connected together.
Referring to an example of the interface assembly 20 shown in fig. 2A, the connector 22 is sleeved on one end of the connector 21, the connector 22 and the connector 21 are connected in a conductive manner, and the other end of the connector 21 is used for connecting other devices. One end of the connecting piece 22 is communicated with the components of the electronic product.
Referring to another example of the interface assembly 20 shown in fig. 2B, the connector 22 extends from one end of the plug 21 to be molded. Alternatively, the plug 21 is formed by extending from the connecting member 22.
That is, the connector 22 and the connector 21 may be assembled to form the interface module 20, and the connector 22 and the connector 21 may be directly molded to form the interface module 20.
The connector 22 includes a body 221 and a protrusion 222, and the body 221 is connected to one end of the connector 21. The protrusion 222 is formed to protrude laterally from one side of the body 221. The height difference is formed between the ends of the body 221 and the protruding portion 222 in the same side direction, and the height of the end of the protruding portion 222 is lower than that of the end of the body 221. That is, the end of the interface module 20 formed at one side of the connecting member 22 has a step-like or step-like shape.
The connecting member 22 further includes an outer edge 223, and the outer circumference formed by the same end of the main body 221 and the protruding portion 222 protrudes relative to the plug 21 to form the outer edge 223. The outer edge portion 223 protrudes from the plug 21.
The plug 21 extends from the outer edge 223 to the periphery of the opposite end of the plug 21 to form a first outer surface 211. That is, the plug 21 has a first outer surface 211.
The outer periphery of the connector 22 has a second outer surface 224. The first outer surface 211 and the second outer surface 224 have a height difference therebetween so as to form the outer edge 223 protruding from the plug 21 at the end of the connector 22 on the side of the plug 21.
The plug 21 of the interface module 20 is inserted into the housing 10 until the connector 22 is also received in the mounting space 100 of the housing 10.
As shown in fig. 4, the housing 10 includes an outer peripheral wall 11 and an inner peripheral wall 12, and the outer peripheral wall 11 is formed around one circumference. Both ends of the case 10 are formed with openings. The housing 10 has a mounting space 100 formed inside the outer peripheral wall 11.
The inner peripheral wall 12 is formed to extend in a central direction along the inner peripheral wall of the outer peripheral wall 11 in a convex manner, and an end portion of the inner peripheral wall 12 located inside the housing 10 and an end portion of the outer peripheral wall 11 on the same side have a height difference so as to form a step structure inside the housing 10.
In an example of the present invention, the inner peripheral wall 12 further includes a first inner wall 121 and a second inner wall 122, the first inner wall 121 is formed to extend convexly toward the center of the housing 10 along the inner side of the outer peripheral wall 11, and an end of the first inner wall 121 located in the installation space 100 and an end of the outer peripheral wall 11 on the same side have a height difference, so that the first inner wall 121 forms a step structure on the inner side of the housing 10.
The second inner wall 122 is formed to further convexly extend toward the center of the housing 10 along the inner side of the first inner wall 121. The second inner wall 122 and the first inner wall 121 have a height difference between ends thereof located on the same side of the inner side of the housing 10, so as to form another step structure on the inner side of the housing 10.
That is, the inner circumferential wall 12 forms a two-step structure inside the housing 10.
The surface of the portion of the first inner wall 121 extending from the end of the first inner wall 121 located inside the housing 10 to the end of the second inner wall 122 located inside the housing 10 forms a first inner surface 1211 of the first inner wall 121.
A second inner surface 111 of the outer peripheral wall 11 is formed extending from one end of the housing 10 along the inside of the outer peripheral wall 11 to the end of the first inner wall 121 located inside the housing 10.
Referring to fig. 5, which is a schematic view of the installation seal of the USB interface device, the interface component 20 is inserted into the installation space 100 of the housing 10, and the outer edge 223 abuts against the end of the first inner wall 121 located inside the housing 10, that is, the step structure formed by the first inner wall 121 inside the housing 10 defines the position of the outer edge 223 inside the housing 10, and prevents the interface component 20 from being displaced toward the opening direction of one end of the housing 10.
The first outer surface 211 of the plug 21 faces the first inner surface 1211 of the first inner wall 121 to define a displacement space of the plug 21, and the second outer surface 224 of the connector 22 faces the second inner surface 111 to define a displacement space of the connector 22.
In one example of the present invention, the second outer surface 224 and the second inner surface 111 are abutted to limit the displacement of the connecting member 22 toward the outer peripheral wall 11. The connecting member 22 is wrapped and fixed by the outer peripheral wall 11.
In one example of the present invention, the first outer surface 211 and the first inner surface 1211 are attached. The first inner wall 121 limits the displacement of the plug piece 21 relative to the first inner wall 121, and the plug piece 21 is prevented from shaking relative to the first inner wall 121. The first inner wall 121 wraps the plug 21 to prevent displacement thereof.
In one example of the present invention, one end of the interface assembly 20 abuts against the second inner wall 122, and the second inner wall 122 defines the position of the interface assembly 20 within the housing 10. The second inner wall 122 limits the displacement of the interface module 20 relative to the opening direction of the housing 10.
That is, the step structure formed by the first inner wall 121 limits the displacement of the interface assembly 20 toward the opening direction of the housing 10. The housing 10 defines a displacement of the interface module 20 relative to the peripheral wall of the housing 10. Further, the first inner wall 121 limits the displacement of the plug 21 relative to the first inner wall 121. The peripheral wall 11 defines the displacement of the connecting element 22 in relation to the direction of the peripheral wall 11. The displacement space of the interface module 20 inside the housing 10 is limited, and the displacement of the interface module 20 is reduced or eliminated, so that the structure is stable.
The interface assembly 20 is inserted into the inside of the housing 10, the end of the body 221 and the end of the boss 222 of the connector 22 are received in the mounting space 100 of the housing 10, and the body 221 and the end of the boss 222 have a height difference such that the space 300 is formed between the end of the boss 222, the housing 10, and the body 221. 1. A USB interface device, comprising:
the shell comprises an outer peripheral wall and at least one inner peripheral wall, wherein the inner peripheral wall forms at least one step structure on the inner side of the outer peripheral wall;
an interface assembly, wherein the interface assembly is mounted to the inside of the housing, the step structure defining the position of one end of the interface assembly within the housing; and
at least one sealing element sealing a space between the interface assembly and the housing to secure the interface assembly and the housing and to define a position of the other end of the interface assembly, the interface assembly being retained within the housing.
2. The USB interface device according to claim 1, wherein the interface module comprises a connector and a connector, the connector being connected to the connector, wherein the connector has a perimeter that defines a first outer surface and the connector has a perimeter that defines a second outer surface.

5. The USB interface device of claim 4, wherein a space is formed between the body, the boss, and the housing, the space being potted to form the seal to seal the space between the interface assembly and the housing to secure the interface assembly and the housing.

A USB interface device according to claim 3, wherein the inner peripheral wall includes a first inner wall, the first inner wall is formed by extending from the inner side of the outer peripheral wall to the center of the housing in a protruding manner, the end of the first inner wall located inside the housing forms a step structure, and the outer edge of the interface component abuts against the step structure formed by the first inner wall to be limited.
