The embodiment of the application provides a method for prompting an unread message, and an execution main body of the method can be a prompting device of the unread message, and certainly can be other. In the embodiment of the present application, the following embodiment is described by taking a prompting device whose execution subject is an unread message as an example.
As shown in fig. 1, the following S1100 and S1200 are included:
s1100, receiving an unread message of the target application.
The application icon of the target application is a polyhedron, different faces in the polyhedron correspond to different types of messages of the target application, and the different types of messages belong to different sub-pages or different functional items of the target application.
In one embodiment of the present application, the target application may be a shopping application, a chat application, a video viewing application, an audio listening application, or the like.
In one embodiment of the present application, the polyhedron may be a cube, a cuboid, a triangular prism, a triangular pyramid, or the like. Different faces in the polyhedron correspond to different sub-pages or different functional items.
In one embodiment of the present application, in the case where the polyhedron is a cube, the cube may be as shown in fig. 2. Wherein the cube comprises 6 faces, each face of the cube is labeled 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 in fig. 2.
In an embodiment of the present application, taking a target application as an application of a chat as an example, sub-pages of the target application may be respectively: a message sub-page, a contact sub-page, a dynamic sub-page, etc. And, the function items of the target application may be: a buddy placed on the top, a specified public number, a specified chat group, and others. It will be appreciated that other messages are functional items other than over-the-top friends, specified public numbers, and specified chat groups.
In the embodiment of the application, the sub-page or the function item of the target application can be set by a developer or by a user in a customized manner.
When the sub-page or the function item of the target application is set by the user in a customized manner, the method for prompting the unread message provided by the embodiment of the present application further includes the following steps S1110 to S1113:
and S1110, setting an input interface corresponding to each side of the application icon.
In an embodiment of the present application, an input interface list may be added to a setting item corresponding to a target application. The input interface list comprises a plurality of input interfaces. Wherein the number of input interfaces in the input list is generally the same as the number of facets of the polyhedron.
S1111, acquiring the identification of the sub-page or the function item received through the input interface.
In one embodiment of the present application, each input interface may include a drop-down box including an identification of a plurality of sub-pages or functional items of the target application. Based on this, the user can input the identification of the sub-page or the function item to the corresponding input interface by sequentially selecting the option in the drop-down box of each input interface. Based on this, the prompting device of the unread message can acquire the identification of the sub-page or the function item received through the input interface.
In another embodiment of the present application, a user may manually input an identification (which may be exemplified by a name) of one sub-page or function item of a target application in one input interface to input the identification of the sub-page or function item to a corresponding input interface. Based on this, the prompting device of the unread message can acquire the identification of the sub-page or the function item received through the input interface.
And S1112, associating the sub-page or the function item which is received through the input interface and is identified and represented with the surface corresponding to the input interface.
In this embodiment of the application, the association in S1112 is to establish a mapping relationship.
In the embodiment of the application, the user can input the identification of the sub-page or the function item in each input interface, and can also input the identification of the sub-page or the function item in a part of the input interfaces.
In one example, where a user enters an identification of a sub-page or function item at each input interface, the association between the sub-page or function item and the face of the polyhedron may be as shown in FIG. 3. Where, in fig. 3, the polyhedron is taken as an example for illustration, A, B, C, D, E and F refer to different sub-pages or function items of the target application, and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 refer to different faces of the polyhedron.
And S1113, under the condition that any input interface does not receive the identification, associating the sub-page or the function item represented by the identification received by the appointed input interface with the surface corresponding to the input interface.
In the embodiment of the application, on the basis that the user inputs the identification of the sub page or the function item on the part of the input interface, the identification of the sub page or the function item which is not received by the other part of the input interface exists. For this situation, in the embodiment of the present application, the input interface that does not receive the identifier is associated with the sub-page or the function item that is represented by the identifier received by the specified input interface.
In one embodiment of the present application, the specific input interface may be specified by the user, and of course, the specific input interface may also be the first input interface in the input interface list.
In an example, taking the total number of sub-pages or function items that the target application has as 3 and the number of facets as 6 as an example, based on the above S1113, it may be exemplarily shown in fig. 4. Where FIG. 4 continues to illustrate with the polygon being a square, and A, B and C refer to different sub-pages or function items of the target application, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 refer to different faces of the polygon, and sub-page or function item A is associated with face 1, 4, 5, and 6 of the polygon.
In one embodiment of the present application, when one sub-page or function item is more important to the user than other sub-pages or function items in the target application, more facets may be associated with the one sub-page or function item.
S1200, displaying a prompt mark on the target surface matched with the type of the unread message.
In the embodiment of the application, the prompt mark is a set small icon. The set small icon may be an icon of "…", or may be the number of unread messages of the target surface. Of course, the small icon may be other types of icons, such as an exclamation mark. In the embodiments of the present application, specific forms of the set small icons are not limited.
In an embodiment of the present application, in a case that the set small icon is the number of unread messages of the target surface, the method for prompting unread messages provided in the embodiment of the present application further includes, before the step S1200, counting the number of unread messages of the target surface.
And in the last embodiment, the number of the unread messages marked as the target surface is prompted, so that the user can quickly know the number of the unread messages of the corresponding sub-pages or the function items through the surfaces of the polyhedron.
In the embodiment of the application, after the unread message is received in the target application, the type of the unread message of the target application is identified to identify which sub-page or function item the unread message belongs to. And after the sub-page or the function item to which the unread message belongs is identified, displaying a prompt identifier on a target surface corresponding to the sub-page or the function item to which the unread message belongs.
In the embodiment of the application, the unread messages of the target application are received, wherein the application icon of the target application is a polyhedron, different faces in the polyhedron correspond to different types of messages of the target application, and the different types of messages belong to different sub-pages or different functional items of the target application; and displaying a prompt mark on the target surface matched with the type of the unread message. Based on the method, the user can know whether the sub-page or the function item corresponding to the target surface has the unread message or not by checking whether the prompt mark is displayed on the target surface or not. In this way, the user can determine whether there are unread messages of interest to him or her, and based thereon, make a decision whether to view the unread messages. On the basis, meaningless operation of the user can be avoided, and therefore the experience of the user in using the application is improved.
On the basis of any of the above embodiments, when the user wants to know whether an unread message exists in a certain sub-page or function item, but the certain sub-page or function item is not visible to the user, the method for prompting the unread message provided in the embodiment of the present application further includes the following steps S1310 and S1311:
s1310, receiving a first input for an application icon.
In the embodiment of the present application, the first input is an input performed on an application icon such that the polygon rotates.
In one example, taking a polyhedron as an example of a cube, the first input includes: sliding operations in a first direction, a second direction, and a third direction among three-dimensional directions performed with respect to a cube. As shown in fig. 5a, the first direction may be a direction around the X axis in three dimensions, including a clockwise direction around the X axis and a counterclockwise direction around the X axis. As shown in fig. 5b, the second direction may be a Z-axis direction among three-dimensional directions, including a clockwise direction around the Z-axis direction and a counterclockwise direction around the Z-axis direction. As shown in fig. 5c, the third direction may be a direction around the Y axis in three dimensions, including a clockwise direction around the Y axis and a counterclockwise direction around the Y axis.
S1311, responding to the first input, and switching the visual surface of the application icon.
In one embodiment of the application, the prompting device for the unread message may respond to the direction of the input slide operation of the first input, the number of times of input of the first input, when responding to the first input. The direction of the sliding operation corresponding to the first input can determine the rotation direction of the polyhedron, and the input times of the first input can determine the rotation amount of the polyhedron.
On the basis of fig. 2, if the user wants to view the face 4 of the polyhedron, the user can perform 1 sliding operation in the counterclockwise direction about the X axis. The prompting device of the unread message regards the 1-time sliding operation in the counterclockwise direction about the X axis as a first input, and switches the visible face of the application icon in response to the first input, thereby making the face 4 visible.
In another embodiment of the present application, the prompting device for the unread message may respond to the direction of the sliding operation corresponding to the first input, the radian or the length of the sliding operation corresponding to the first input, when responding to the first input. The direction of the sliding operation corresponding to the first input can determine the rotation direction of the polyhedron, and the radian or the length of the sliding operation corresponding to the first input can determine the rotation amount of the polyhedron.
On the basis of fig. 2, if the user wants to view the surface 4 of the polyhedron, the user can perform a sliding operation with an arc length or a length within a predetermined range (e.g., 0.5cm) in a counterclockwise direction around the X-axis. The unread message prompt apparatus takes the sliding operation in which the arc length or length in the counterclockwise direction around the X axis is within a preset range as a first input, and switches the visible surface of the application icon in response to the first input, thereby making the surface 4 visible.
On the basis of any of the above embodiments, the method for prompting an unread message provided by the embodiment of the present application further includes the following steps S1410 and S1411:
and S1410, receiving a second input aiming at the target surface.
In an embodiment of the present application, the second input is an operation of selecting the target surface, for example, a click operation performed on the target surface.
It is understood that the user may directly perform the second input on the object plane, that is, the object plane referred to in the above S1410 is a visible plane of the polyhedron.
S1411, in response to the second input, displaying the unread message.
In this embodiment of the application, when the display device of the unread message receives the second input, the display device of the unread message may respond to the second input, and further display the unread message corresponding to the sub-page or the function item associated with the target surface.
Based on the above S1410 and S1411, the unread messages prompting device may display the unread messages in the sub-page or the function item corresponding to the target surface for the user to view. As an example, this can be seen in fig. 6 and 7.
In the embodiment of the application, the second input aiming at the target surface is received; in response to the second input, an unread message is displayed. In this way, the user may perform a second input with respect to the target surface. At this time, the unread message prompt device receives the second input, responds to the second input, and further displays the unread message of the sub-page or the function item associated with the target surface. The user can check the unread messages of the sub-pages or the function items by only executing one operation, so that the operation times of the user are further reduced, and the experience of the user in using the application is improved.
On the basis of any of the above embodiments, the method for prompting an unread message provided by the embodiment of the present application may further include the following steps S1510 and S1511:
and S1510, receiving a third input aiming at the target surface.
In this embodiment, the third input may be a long-press operation for any position on the target surface on which the prompt mark is displayed.
It is to be understood that the target plane referred to in the above S1510 is a visible plane since the user may perform a third input on the plane on which the prompt mark is displayed.
And S1511, in response to the third input, displaying a part of the unread message at the preset position of the application icon.
In one embodiment of the present application, the preset orientation may be left, right, or other orientation.
In one embodiment, unread messages within a preset number of pieces may be displayed at a preset orientation of the application icon. And, a preset number of characters in front of each unread message can be displayed. The preset number and the preset number can be set according to experience.
In another embodiment, all unread messages may be displayed by means of a slider bar at a preset orientation of the application icon.
In the embodiment of the application, the user can preview the unread message of the sub-page or the function item associated with the target surface by inputting a third operation. In this way, the user can view the unread message without opening the target application.
On the basis of any of the above embodiments, the method for prompting an unread message provided by the embodiments of the present application may further include the following steps: receiving a fourth input; in response to a fourth input, the target application is exited. In the embodiment of the application, after exiting the target application, the polyhedron of the target application may be displayed in a manner that is presented when entering the target application for the last time, and one surface specified by the user may also be displayed as a visible surface.
